🏞 i love to sit in the park and draw, so i've been taking the Magic Drawing Pad with me when i go out. this tablet is light and portable, ideal for on-the-go use and traveling, whether it's for a quick sketch or professional use. it's so easy to pick this up and start doodling when inspiration hits now. no need to connect to a PC! ✨

🖼 the Magic Drawing Pad feels like it was designed with artists in mind and I love that. tbh i'm an Android girlie and i have been looking for good alternatives for an artist-focused, standalone drawing tablet for years now. I'm so excited to finally see there are more options on the market!

⚙️ set up was a breeze, so easy right out of the box. it even came preinstalled with Medibang and IbisPaint -- i hadn't used those programs before so it was fun to try ! but you can also install CSP or any other apps on it if you prefer~

🖥 the screen has an anti-glare & paper-like surface, so it feels natural to draw on, like it's a sketchbook. plus it's easy on the eyes, even if you're out in the sun. it comes with a glove, pen nibs + a protective case where you can store your pen, so you won't lose it! phew lol

✏️ the 16k pressure levels in the X3 Pro Pencil make for a smooth and precise drawing experience. it doesn't need to be charged, so you don't have to worry about losing power while drawing, making this the ultimate portable tablet experience for me

tl;dr: the XPPen Magic Drawing Pad is an amazing lightweight standalone portable tablet designed with artists in mind, great for on-the-go use! def recommend it if you're an artist looking for a more versatile and portable experience, or alternatives to the ones that are currently on the market

“So,” Foolish said in a drawl as he sat back on his knees, looking up. He and Tubbo had been working on this new project for hours and it felt heavenly to work so beautifully in tandem. 

Tubbo tore his attention away from their machine to look at him questioningly. 

“Wanna like,” Foolish cleared his throat. “Do this again sometime?” 

Tubbo blinked at him slowly. “This machine should be fine for a while. It's built to last. Unless you mean another machine. I'm sure there's more shit around Fobo that we could update.” 

Foolish sighed, digging his nails into the soft dirt below him. “Right, yeah exactly. Have to make Fobo perfect for our daughters.” 

“Exactly,” Tubbo confirmed, turning back to the machine. 

Foolish let every thought of sharing food over a hard project for hours out of his mind. You've got to focus dude. He doesn't want that intimacy with you.

the lovely folks over @ Huion kindly sent me a Kamvas 12 to try !! ♡ a quick review:

🖥  Huion Kamvas 12 is a beginner friendly screen tablet with full HD 12″ display, compatible with windows, mac, linux and android phones. it is not a standalone portable tablet, it will need to be hooked up to a computer with a HDMI port!

�� i’ve been using this screen tablet for a month now and i’m really happy with it! this is huion’s smallest model, making it easy to carry and ideal for my small desk. it is a compact, lightweight but high quality screen tablet.

⚙️  set up is straightforward. i had some trouble figuring out pen calibration during set up bc there was some lag/offset, but after some fiddling around it works like a charm and i don’t experience any major lag when doing a stroke - i've tested this both in SAI and CSP.

🎨  the screen resolution is impressive for its size & the colors are popping on this one. its kinda like your drawing on paper bc the screen is semi-matte. it even got customizable hotkeys which i love + u can turn off the screen and use it like a regular drawing tablet no problem

🖊  the pen is battery-free and charges automatically, so if you’re like me and get annoyed by the pen running out while you’re working, this is ideal! it comes with pen holder + extra nibs, a drawing glove, and an optional adjustable stand, making it more ergonomic

tl;dr: i’m impressed! if you think larger screen tablets are a bit intimidating, or you’re used to non-display tablets and are looking to transition to screen displays - this is a great and affordable fit! 💞
