The three fandoms I'm looking to write at the moment are: GOT-verse (Game of Throne & House of the Dragon), Marvel, and Netflix's You. I prefer to write the males so need to worry about doubling. NSFW-friendly; willing to write an 80/20 plot-to-smut ratio in either direction and anything in between. For Netflix's You, I'm looking to play Joe Goldberg against Love Quinn, Guinevere Beck, Peach Sallinger, or potentially an OC! I may also be open to doing some oc x oc based on these pairings. GOT-verse Pairings I'm looking to play: Daemon Targaryan x Rhaenyra Targyan (Milly Alcock), Viserys Targaryen x Daenerys Targaryen, Robb Stark x Sansa Stark, & potentially similar pairings and oc + oc pairings based on them. I'm a bit more open when it comes to Marvel; it's easier if I list some of the characters I'd like to write and write against. Whether we use MCU or illustrated appearances for the characters is character/dynamic/plot dependent! This list is not exhaustive! Random E2 rant

So is it me or has there been a sudden influx in female characters getting typed as E2. Sure I do think that there are some characters that were mistyped.

Ex- Daenerys being typed as Sx1 being an Soc 2, Mistao Katsuragi typed as an Sx 7 being an Sx 2 and Maddy Perez being typed as an Sp7 being an Sx2. 

However is it me or is it getting a bit out of hand now? like maybe its me reaching here but isnt there like a bit of a weird undertone considering its only been female characters getting this treatment. This are the charcaters I've noticed

Id love to hear your guy’s thoughts on this cuz its been a pattern I've noticed and it's definitely getting a bit out of hand now. I personally disagree with almost if not all of these typings; there are some others I've seen but are not as outragous as some of these.

Dating Joe Goldberg would include:

○ This guy is gonna treat you like you’re his goddess.

○ Like, ask for anything and he will do that for you (especially kill people that bother you)

○ He’s literally always there for you.

○ You scared to walk back home alone? What a coincidence! Turns out he’s just two streets away.

○ The stalkerism has been a little on the downside since you’re now dating, but he can’t help himself to be worried sometimes.

○ It’s not that it doesn’t trust you, it’s just that Beck and Candace pushed him to always check one two three four times to be sure you’re not cheating.

○ But when he sees that he was worried for nothing, he smiles and eventually just leaves you to do your own thing in peace.

○ And when you come home, he gives you all his love and attention.

○ Like, you come back home and more than once there’s a nice dinner set up and your lips turn into a huge smile.

○ He also loves to make you breakfast, so there’s a lot of bed and breakfast with you two.

○ He always seems to be watching you do things, too.

○ It used to creep you out at first (especially when you would wake up and see him staring at you) but now you think it’s kind of adorable.

○ Like, he’s just always looking at you with pure adoration and even though you don’t think you deserve it, it makes your heart melt.

○ He just shows how much he loves you all the time, so you try to show it too.

○ Like when you’re at work, you would text him thoughts you’re having throughout the day and some pretty pictures, also telling him how you can’t wait to see him again.

○ Or when you have some time, you would stop at his bookshop for a quick book review and a few kisses, before asking for a date the same night.

○ Or sometimes you would come to his apartment with a small gift you bought of nowhere, only because you saw it and it made you think of him.

○ It’s those little things that reassure him that you love him too.

○ Lots of cute dates out in the town, usually going for coffee shops or just walking around town to talk.

○ But also lots of snuggling on the couch, sometimes to read a book together.

○ Lots of forehead kisses too (he loves to hear you giggle when he does it).

○ You’re the one who always takes his hand in yours, and you always surprise him.

○ One time you were both reading your own books and you’ve suddenly decided to take his hand in hostage.

○ It was very difficult to turn the pages for the both of you, but it was worth it.

○ He always pushes you to go for your dreams, which you’re so thankful for.

○ He just loves you so much.

○ And you love him too.

Dating Peach Sallinger would include:

○ This woman is a queen and she’s gonna treat you like you’re her queen.

○ She would buy you everything you ask for, and also everything you’re not asking for.

○ Like she would notice how you’ve stared at a specific necklace while you were walking in town and that necklace would suddenly be in a wrapped box on your bed the next day.

○ Or sometimes you would mention how you would like to go to a specific country and she immediately starts buying plane tickets and hotel expenses.

○ You’re embarrassed by how much money she spends on you.

○ But when you try to talk about it, she always shushes you with a passionate kiss.

○ “I just love you so fucking much, I wanna spoil you all the time.”

○ Eventually, you convince her that you don’t need all this stuff, you only need her.

○ And she almost cries.

○ Almost.

○ She has a reputation to keep.

○ Most of her money goes on traveling with you and having couple spa treatments after that.

○ A sea of breakfast food to eat with her every morning.

○ Also, lots of dates in restaurants and bars.

○ She loves to see you dressed up for her (especially when you take the dress she picked out for you).

○ Lots of neck kisses from her.

○ Lots of cheek kisses from you.

○ But lots of kisses in general.

○ She doesn’t really like holding your hand, but she’s all in for some PDA action.

○ Especially when a guy’s getting too close to you.

○ One day, you notice hr taking pictures of you at the most random times to add to her collection

○ You decide to take pictures of her too, starting a fun competition between the two of you.

○ You end up making a wall collage full of pictures of you and her as a gift.

○ She doesn’t show much expression when she sees it, but her cheeks turn red.

○ You just kiss her cheek and hold her from the side while she stares at the wall.

○ “I love you too, Peach.”

apparently unpopular opinion: joe goldberg is an insane stalker and absolutely should not be romanticized, but y’all should be giving the same energy to peach too. they’re both incredibly attractive people, yes, but that shouldn’t excuse their manipulative/abusive actions against beck.

i just finished watching YOU on netflix and i have a lot of thoughts!!

this show was very well written (despite being made by ppl who made Riverdale) and it was so interesting to see the perspective of a charming psychopath. whenever joe was about to get caught, i always thought to myself “how is this guy gonna get out of this one??”

with that being said, i’m glad the show didn’t overly romanticize joe and his actions. it could have easily been swayed that joe was perfect and that his actions were completely justified. everything he did was wrong, invasive, and completely out of line and i’m glad the show made sure that the viewer knew that too.

sometimes i found myself rooting for joe and then i would remember what a psycopathic stalker he was. his character was so charming that even the viewer would sometimes forget that he was just downright a creep.

the show also had a lot of twists that i really enjoyed, like beck’s dad being alive and well and candace being alive too. if there’s a season 2, i hope they really go into candace’s story and how she finally takes down joe or something of that caliber. i just want that douche locked up.

additional thoughts:

- peach was (almost) just as bad as joe

- beck needed to buy curtains

- ethan and karen were the only good characters

- paco, while innocent and only a child, is on thin fucking ice with me because he could have saved beck. i liked his character and i realize that he only did what he did because he was being groomed by joe, but part of me resents him because beck deserved better

- john stamos was a daddy and a nice addition to the show

- elizabeth lail was stunning, even though her character was kind of boring

- beck deserved better and just about every character in the show (besides joe and maybe ron) deserved better

- bonus points to penn badgley for not taking anyone’s bullshit on twitter and not letting joe be romanticized. joe is a killer.

Why did the casting directors make them Brown and Black when they were white characters in their original source material. Bc in relation to the white characters around them the racial dynamics are weird at least and very much racially motivated at best. We can also talk about Homophobia going on with Peach as well
