The dog was barking and I went out to see what was the matter. The dog was at the old elm tree barking at something up in the lower branches. I could spy some blue and bits of greenish. Yes indeed, the dog had treed a Germander! Well, there was no calming the dog, so I coaxed the Germander down, give it a few good pets, took a pic for good measure. And fed it to the dog.
