#pe class sucks

I’m from the Midwest. I had to take 1.5 credits (the equivalent of 3 semesters) of PE, but instead of it being 3 semesters of PE, it was a yearlong class that only met every other day. Yes, it was a terrible system because it took up space that could’ve been used for other one-semester courses. Yes, I tried my hardest to try to use outside-of-school dance classes as credit since they accepted most other non-school sports. Yes, they denied me, but I avoided PE by taking an independent dance course (it was an asynchronous class of choreography exercises. It was still basically a health class but was just homework and no actual class time).

me (emo) and my friend (a huge swiftie) kept mentioning to our pe teacher that we should have a class playlist bc it would be so painfully chaotic. in classic pe teacher fashion, all she would play were pop top 40 type playlists from the 2010s. centuries by fob came on at one point, and i was losing my shit. i mentioned it to the teacher, and next class, while me and my friend were sitting out, she handed us her phone like "fall out boy? thats what you said, right? put some songs in." my friend and i filled the queue up with taylor swift and fall out boy. it was epic. now that we've finally got her to make an actual class playlist, sometimes fob or paramore just randomly comes on while we're playing badminton or whatever and its amazing. i am very patiently waiting for planetary go! to finally play. its the one mcr song i decided wasnt too angsty, screamy, or sexual for school, and was also hype enough for gym class.

fuck my fuckass goddamn teachers who STILL assign homework??? who the FUCK does that???? WHY????? i genuinely hate teachers who do this fucking shit. its. so annoying. like. whos gaining anything from this??? certainly not me, because half the time i dont even DO it cuz im TIRED and SICK OF IT and i just remember how it was used as a punishment first and foremost and. i cant stand it. ugh.

i like that my online pe class is categorizing vegetables by color but only twice. the only dark green vegetables are broccoli and spinach btw. and the only orange ones are carrots and pumpkins. and then you have dry beans/peas and starchy vegetables. and of course other vegetables like eggplant and asparagus. these are the only groups just so u know
