Characters
Hey folks, I had an idea. So I'm writing a fic called Once More, With Feeling, and I am about ready to put another chapter out, but at the same time I have also finished the character sheet of every character in my fic who goes to school at the same time as Harry (whew.)
So my idea was that I would release said character sheet and people could do asks pairing a character with a subject they liked (for example, Keiko Tanaka with older lesbian awakening) and I write them a chapter if I could, because 1. motivation and 2. it would be fun!
One note: please don't use any original characters without asking. I know there's still a chance that it will happen and maybe it's not fair to ask, and if so lmk, but if at all possible, if you are reading this, inherent creative copyright is the basis of all fanfiction and if we can't agree on that, so much of what we love wouldn't exist. If you ask I'm 100% amenable to the characters being used, but please ask.
Okay, without further ado, here is the list as of right now, with Harry as a first year. When I get to the next year I'll reblog with the new kids and without the seventh years. The * refers to an original character, and the (a) refers to a character that has already been introduced in the story, which doesn't mean they can't get a chapter written but means they may already have a bit of a personality.

hi hi! okay sorry if this is too many at once let me know and I’ll resend separately but I have a top three faces right now so, any preference/character ideas for Hannah Dodd, Kit Young, or Keke Palmer?
hey ! i can definitely give you some canon and surname suggestions, though wcs were a little beyond me from mobile - there's definitely plenty more places they could all slot in if you'd like to peruse that page, but i'm sorry i wasn't able to gather some suggestions for you ! for hannah dodd, i could see her as mafalda prewett, victoria frobisher, eloise midgen, lisa turpin, demelza robins or patricia stimpson OR, surname wise, as an abercrombie, dawlish, haywood, malkin, oddpick, blishwick, buchanan, carmichael, snyde or vulchanov. for kit young, i think he'd work great as neville longbottom, zacharias smith, cormac mclaggen, marcus belby, roger davies, lee jordan, michael corner, rolf scamander or terry boot, as well as a warrington, fudge, marchbanks, meadows, montague, summerby, vance or selwyn. keke palmer would be fun as angelina johnson, romilda vane, tracey davis, fleur weasley, gwenog jones, alicia spinnet or emma vanity ii, but i also like the idea of seeing her as an aubrey, skeeter, dodderidge, malkin, mcgonagall, rowle, vaisey, fawcett, hopkirk or warbeck !

The Body Politic: Long Island Biennial 2024
In 2024—a year of global elections, as some 60 countries representing half of the world’s populations hold regional and national leadership votes—The Heckscher Museum of Art invited Long Island artists to submit work which engages with contemporary social, cultural, or political issues. The Museum received 762 artwork submissions from 313 artists, and the result, The Body Politic: Long Island Biennial 2024 features exceptional art from contemporary artists in a compelling museum-wide exhibition that features 79 works of art accepted from 60 artists.
The jurors for the 2024 Long Island Biennial were Ian Alteveer, Beal Family Chair of the Department of Contemporary Art, Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; Patricia Cronin, sculptor, Artistic Director of the LGBTQ+ VR Museum and Distinguished Professor of Art, Brooklyn College; and Grace Hong, Assistant Director, Galerie Lelong & Co.
The artists chosen represent the breadth of communities across Suffolk and Nassau counties and the exhibition encompasses a remarkable variety of media with styles spanning abstraction to hyperrealism. “We remain committed to sharing inspiring and thought-provoking new art with our visitors.” said Heather Arnet, Executive Director & CEO. The 8th edition of the Long Island Biennial “will resonate with the entire community given the diversity in artists and the universality of the important themes in their work.”
