Oki dokes!! So the whole thing was based around the idea of “what if Caitlyn met Isha while being involved with Jinx and they grew close”. Very found family, very silly, had lighthearted intent originally.

And then I remembered that Isha dies.

So, taking it from the top (copy and pasted ramble btw)

What if Caitlyn grows close to Jinx and Isha . She’s got a family again, Jinx and Isha filling the voids left behind by her family and Vi. Her, Jinx, and Isha sit in a little circle coming up with new signs for Isha to use. Isha likes to sit in Cait's lap and play with her hair since Caitlyn wears it down around them. Isha suggests the idea of dyeing a streak of Caitlyn's hair light blue, specifically the bit that hangs on the left side of her face when she has her bun. Caitlyn isn't super down with the idea at first, not knowing how people topside would react but she can't just say no to Isha. So one day she leaves with a blue streak in her hair and dye on her face. Jinx offers to give Caitlyn her first tattoo but Caitlyn wants it to be a surprise for her and Isha. She ends up mirroring Jinx’s cloud tattoos and getting Isha’s helmet tattooed. Jinx dismisses it a bit, but cries once Caitlyn leaves.

Caitlyn would cover Isha with her cape and let her like hide in it when she wore it. Caitlyn being the overachiever she is, probably knows sign language or at least knows a bit, and she taught Isha how to sign “I love you.”

Isha never used it until she was fighting Warwick.

Speaking of which. During the battle against Warwick Caitlyn gets injured trying to get to Isha before she sacrifices herself. She tries to claw her way closer, pushing and shoving to try and protect Isha. Vi is protecting Jinx, and Caitlyn gets wounded and collapses, trying to pull herself closer in a pathetic attempt to save Isha. She’s frantic when she wakes up from being unconscious. She stumbles through her house, calling the girl’s name, hoping that by some slim chance, Isha will run up to her and give her the same hug Isha would give whenever Caitlyn visited Jinx. She blames herself every day for it. If she’d just been a bit faster, a bit stronger, a bit tougher, Isha could be alive. Even once the war is over, she wakes up and expects Jinx and Isha to be there with her, Isha cuddled between the two. She cries every time it happens.

After the war, she learns how to embroider and adds the little swirl design Isha had on her goggles onto her eyepatch. Whenever Caitlyn sees a kid playing with their older sibling or their mom she has to take a moment to steady herself. It’s not Isha. It’s not Jinx. It’s not Jayce. It’s not Cassandra. Caitlyn searches the vents of the hexgates every time she can, looking for Jinx, hoping that she’ll find something. Before the battle Caitlyn painstakingly paints the Kiramman crest on Jinx’s back.

“This is a one time thing, got it? I wont associate with any other fancy Piltie house,”

“I know baby. I’m almost done,”

Eventually she finds a bit of paint, it’s the same color that she painted the crest with. Caitlyn breaks down, leaving things that Jinx liked down there, hoping that when she goes down again, something will be moved, food eaten, anything. She leaves stuffed toys Jinx liked, snacks Jinx would eat, drawings that her, Jinx, and Isha made together. She gets her hopes up every time. She’ll embroider pieces of clothing with designs that remind her of Jinx, clouds, bullets, “X” designs, etc. She knows it’s in vain but she can’t help it.

The reason she’s so convinced that Jinx is alive is A. She’s gay and pathetic and very sad, and B. A little while after the finale, Caitlyn finds a box of eye patches on her desk. All of them are colorful and customized, all in Jinx’s style.

the pjo tv show is making me have thoughts about hephaestus & apollo’s dynamic, as well as apollo & ares dynamic — so i was wondering if you had any hcs for either duo or both !!

I do for sure have some Thoughts on Apollo & Ares so I shall start there.

Apollo & Ares

Favorite Son and Least Favorite Son.

After Apollo was born, we all know he went on a mission to avenge his mom. That included killing Python, but I also headcanon this preteen storming up to Ares and demanding a fight for his mom's honor.

This was brought on because in the mythos, Ares actually chased Leto around and drove her from place to place, never letting her rest for long.

Obviously, Apollo isn't too keen on this and demands a duel.

Ares takes one look at this kid and goes you know what? I like his spunk. I'm keeping him. and lo and behold Apollo gets distracted by Ares showing him how to properly grip a sword's blade.

Also fun fact! In Ancient Greece, fathers raised their sons and mothers the daughters. Fathers would teach their sons how to swim and write, so this gets interesting once you put ToA's context with it.

In all honesty, I don't think Zeus was too involved in Apollo's growth. He was still there, of course! Enough to have a hold on him and. well. manipulate/gaslight him/abuse him.

However heartbreaking it would be to think about Zeus teaching Apollo these things (my heart. my poor sobbing heart.), I would also find it heartwarming if Ares did that instead.

Or Poseidon. But I personally think he taught Apollo how to ride horses. Let Ares have his thing :3

Because wouldn't it make sense that if Zeus couldn't find the time teach Apollo, then that responsibility would fall to the eldest son?

Okay so. Diomedes tried to stab Apollo a few times when he was rescuing Aeneus, and Apollo CANONICALLY tells Ares about it - and lo and behold, Ares gets into a fight with Diomedes (and gets shish-kabobbed).

SO I CONCLUDE-

Apollo: Diomedes tried to stab me :(

Ares: WHAT.

Apollo: Yeah three times.

Ares: WHY.

Apollo: Aphrodite's kid? Aeneus? I was saving his ass after Diomedes stabbed Aphrodite.

Ares: THAT BITCH.

Apollo: But don't worry I took care of it-

anyway. Apollo & Ares would also watch battlefields and Ares would basically be like "right. this is how to properly disembowel your enemies!" gruesomely decapitates some poor mortal. "See? Easy!"

also they would sing!!! war hymns and other things. Ares can dance too btw :3

also when Aphrodite and Apollo were polyculing with Adonis, Ares was doublely jealous because Adonis is 1) taking the attention of his girlfriend and 2) banging his favorite brother

Ares also cautioned Apollo about drawing too much attention to himself, especially Zeus's.

Too bad Apollo didn't quite take it to heart...

I think Ares already knows Apollo is being abused by Zeus. He knows the signs. He knows what's happening...because it happened to him first.

He would drop hints. Which...weren't very subtle, and kinda freaked Apollo out a bit because ohmygodsdoesheknow-?

And when Revolution time came around? You bet Ares sensed it coming from a mile away.

And perhaps he did...hmm...like with the master bolt theft...ooo gonna have to marinate that for a bit. see what i can cook up there. or if any of you have theories shoot them at me!

back to the thing. Once Ares catches wind It's A Go...he's gonna be on Apollo's side. Because godsdammit he's sick of Zeus and his horrible parenting a good war would give him a clean slate.

...Even if he has to put up with both Hera and Athena.

Apollo & Hephaestus

okay so. I haven't thought much about them because they are elusive for me BUT-

and I think Apollo does like Hephaestus! I remember there was a moment where Apollo mentions being in his study or something and missing the entire 40s or whatever staring at Hephaestus's Newton's Cradle.

why was apollo in there. and did hephaestus let him in there?

BECAUSE HEPHAESTUS IS A PRIVATE GUY RIGHT? WHAT'S APOLLO DOING IN A PRIVATE ROOM OF HIS?

In today's SoTE progress: ARRRGHHH I am SO goddamn angry!!!! Gfhghmjm But also I am thinking about Messmer and Marika a LOT now.

1) So, I was getting mentally prepared for going to battle Messmer, and decided to visit just one last piece of fort associated with his location!

^ This shield was dropped by a Black Knight Garrew that acted like a boss but was no harder than a regular enemy. He was using a Crucible aspect that gave him chameleon's shooting tongue to attack with and I hoped he'd drop it instead hfhghgj I'm gonna assume it was somewhere in the game and I just missed it for a dumb reason :pensive:

^ A valid reference in case if anyone will want to draw/write certain grim scenes in detail or something like that

2) There was also a fairly well-hidden secret that I felt proud of discovering, but it was just a stronger version of the talisman that makes arrows stronger! And not only I don't use bows, but also it didn't even give lore! Goddamn it Fromsoft reward me with INFORMATION for my explorer's interest!!

3) Okayyyy sooo :/ I was soooo ready to get my ass kicked by Messmer that I kinda dreaded it, but needed to get this over with! Alas, DLC should end sooner or later...

And at first, I did get my ass kicked, sure. But..... ...not only he switched to the second phase halfway through his health bar and not after it was fully reduced like I expected.. but also I adopted OBNOXIOUSLY fast. :/ :/ :/ It didn't take me EVEN 15 MINUTES to fully adapt to him and just get closer and closer with every try. And!! I did kill him? Like are you JOKING. Are you KIDDING me. That was IT? It took me several days and tormenting @fantomette22 for useless tries to finally defeat Rellana, I had to try many strategies and be extremely smart and inventive with her!! I thought if she was so strong, Messmer would have been even WORSE, and yet I am just sitting here like:

Dude yeah no SHIT you needed Rellana to protect you :/ Guess I was not impressed by 18 inches of Messmer the Impaler 😔😔😔

4) Okay but I DID like his voice acting a lot hfhgv I was just sitting there like "stop sounding sexy you dunce, I already decided that I'm going to dislike you!" XD /j

5) His final words were "Mother... Marika... A curse... upon thee..." and.. hell if I know whether he cursed us or her. I am assuming he cursed her since switching to calling your parent by name instead is a kind of strong sentiment. Like defying them their status over you sort of. Besides all the statues of her in Shadow Realm but one being headless. So... yes, interesting.

6) It was not patched out btw! :>

7) Okay actually when I was about to beat Messmer's ass for good I've accidentally found the summon sign for Hornsent NPC! I was not seeing it during the fight, just happened to run into it, and if Igon taught me anything is that such summons are a good idea because they progress the questline. Maybe. So, he gave a dialogue after Messmer was defeated:

"We meet again I see, comrade-in-arms. Upon his end, did you see Messmer's face? Twas sublime - a very tangle of snakes! To think he dared to call us savages. When he himself was most base of all.

To say the least, I am to you indebted. Yet unquenched remains my thirst for revenge. The death of Messmer was merely the start. Now comes the piper to collect from Marika, her offspring, and all the Erdtree's denizens... In vengeance for the flames, my blade I wield... If Miquella's redemption soothes the ache... that throbs within, demanding blessed vengeance... Then I wish not to be by him redeemed."

Sigh... I just can tell that the guy will have to turn on us sooner or later. Honestly, rejection of anything that could help/heal/etc the pain that demands revenge is such a... real reaction? He is a very real character. He straight up doesn't want to stop even after achieving his objective and himself, ironically, fell for the path of punishing every associate including innocent people whose only sin is being "born in this culture". He became like Marika in this regards!

Honestly, this is a very good writing moment! Second favourite after Miyazaki's jab at horrors of believing in "sacred mission" in Crusader's Insignia! (I like the character even more now for very real negative character development, but I just can TELL we'll have to kill him gfhhgg)

8) .... ah, right, I forgot this post about Messmer

Again: hatred like what? Hatred coming from Abyss Serpent? His hatred for Marika? Hatred for all divested of her grace? Hatred for himself? Is this many things? Fromsoft spare me I am too autistic to read hfggjhgjgb

It actually says that he did that for his mother's sake, and not by her wish! It makes even more sense with the following sentence, as if HE really wished for no single mfer to look weird at her. No, as if he INSISTED to accept all blame and hatred. Considering he curses her in his dying breath, after all (or at least calls her name which is a bad sign from a child), there must have been such a long build-up of unhealthy relationship between them to it...

He not only wished to keep her away from all fear and hatred that follows, and fulfill her vengeful desires, but also basically said to use him like a punching bag. But if she feared the curse within him in the end, then SHE is to blame that he gave up on any and all hope to be pure, good and loved. Like.. whose fault do you guys think it IS that his self-image centered entirely on being fear and dread, as well as someone to hate? I have an impression that he did want to take the blame and excile for her sake, but also resented that she actually accepted his request to use him. Like.. maybe he didn't even realize that what he, subconsciously, wanted was for her to refuse. I might be speaking from too much personal experience, but sending such mixed signals (requesting something with expectation that the person will refuse) is a sign of bad parenting at least, abuse at most. And knowing Marika's horrid parenting skills... yeeeeah.

Again, really good writing. They are saying so much with so little, as always. Glad that Mister Miyazaki keeps the mark with his stories only being readable if you have at least one PTSD ggbhjghbb

11) I have a bad guess that they did not elaborate on what exactly Abyss Serpent is, otherwise @val-of-the-north would've already spoilered me because we love worldbuilding xd

But seeing how Marika Had a Moment about Giants' Fire all because it's capable of burning the Erdtree, the reason is probably similar. She I with Fire like Gwyn is with darkness: it can end her era, maybe end herself, so it is terrifying.

At the same time, she was trying to love her children, at least at first. She created this eye for Messmer and created a lot of Divine Blessings to ease his burdens in the past. Then there were Omen Twins that she yet named with her initials and at least Godfrey and Godwyn were seeing them, although horned creatures would be her worst nightmare. I feel like the pipeline from this to "children become kings or lords or else you'll only be worthy of sacrifices" + "unwanted bastard in Mausoleum" was a long one. She tried to love even the children that were either a walking hazard or walking PTSD, but failing to overcome fear before Messmer set her down the spiral. God, I can see all of her snapping if Messmer asked too many questions, accidentally acting hostile if he tried to be physically affectionate unable to conceal her fear fast enough... She would not be the type to try again with anyone after casting him aside in the end, but, she would take the passive position of "kids, prove me that you deserve my love because ME putting in effort won't avail anything, apparently". The guilt but one that made a quitter rather than a better person.

Yeah, every forge type of the dungeon in Shadow Realm has throwing weapons!!! He adapted!

as always when you post a headcanon i can never stop thinking about it and need all the tiny details

for your most recent post about if papercut got married and pony used pieces from his moms dress on his suit, i need to know what pieces and how he incorporated them in

and also maybe some hcs about how pony gets through the planning process and the wedding itself with the constant reminders about the lose of his parents (since theres so many traditions and planning things that could have included them)

u r in SUCH luck bc i was actually thinking about this a lil more!!!

•so mrs curtis’ wedding dress was mainly made out of silk and it rlly wasnt that intricate bc they didnt have a lot of money, but it was pretty long so pony took 3 medium sized patches from it!!

•darrys the one who sewed it up, which is pretty ironic bc shes the one who taught him how to sue in the first place, the patches were on the jacket pony wore and it was on the pocket, shoulder, and just on the stomach area, so it was basically front and center

•the pieces did smell like her perfume still bc it was in this box never opened for years and on the wedding day the smell sorta went away, it was faint but pony did smell it pretty clear and that was nice

•on the wedding dress was also these long see through sleeves (i forgot the material that is LMAOOO) BUT they used oneeee small patch from that too and instead of that hanker chief thats usually in the suit, thats where it was

•pics of mr and mrs curtis were so important btw, to everyone it kinda felt wrong not including them SOMEHOW

•when the crash happened, they couldnt find mr curtis ring, but they did find mrs curtis’ and they always kept it, and JUST A THOUGHT HERE, what if that was the ring pony has☝🏽☝🏽☝🏽he would look at it a lot bc its a bittersweet thing to him

•mr and mrs curtis had a habit of talking about their wedding to the gang and ik the gang would bring up what they did at theirs so pony could get some ideas, none of em have been to a wedding before so theyre SOOOO relying on those stories

•one of the ideas they got from them was keeping the first sliced cake and just never eating it, its just always chillin in the freezer

•soda brought up the idea of recreating some pics from their parents wedding, pony was down and so was curly!! they took 2 pics of each photo, one for the scrapbook another for pony and curly to keep

•in weddings im sure theres the family daughter dance, idk ive never been to a wedding, BUT i think it would b sweet if darry, soda, and pony all just danced together, yes they have pics of their parents w them, theyre tucked in their top jacket pocket

•those pictures got front seat view of the wedding one of the gang was in charge of making sure they aint fall over

•there were “just married” balloons and yknow thag thing where when someone dies, ppl release balloons, thats kinda the same idea here??? its like sending a message off to em that pony got married

hey so because you seem to be really into it at the moment: I've never seen any of the chunky/child's play movies what's the lore

okay so the sparknotes version of the child's play lore:

this is still gonna be pretty long, sorry

child's play (1988): serial killer charles lee ray aka the "lakeshore strangler" (played by brad dourif) is shot and killed by police detective mike norris (played by the inimitable chris sarandon) but before he dies he transfers his soul into a good guy doll. btw good guy dolls in the story are similar to my buddy dolls or cabbage patch kids in the 80s and they move a little bit and have some pre-recorded phrases they can say, they're super popular in-universe, it's kind of a commentary on consumerism and how companies market to children to "create future consumers" etc. so, the doll makes its way to the home of andy barclay on his 6th birthday. chucky's main goal is to get revenge on mike and his old partner eddie who drove off without him during the shootout, but he's happy to kill some other people along the way. he pushes andy's babysitter (his mother's best friend) out the window, leaving andy to be the main suspect in her murder, which the detective is brought in to investigate. ofc nobody believes the doll is actually alive and he's taken into children's psychiatric care. then his mother and the detective realize the doll really is alive and possessed by charles lee ray, who they found out was super into voodoo. meanwhile chucky realizes after getting shot by the detective that he can get hurt in his new body and he goes to the man who taught him about voodoo, who tried to kill him for being an abomination and abusing everything he was taught. chucky kills him but not before learning that he will be trapped in that body forever if he doesn't jump bodies again soon but he has to possess the body of the first person he revealed he was alive to, which was andy. so the mom and detective also go to the teacher and with his dying breath he says to aim for chucky's heart to kill him because it was almost human now. cue big showdown between chucky and the three protagonists. there's a couple false endings where he gets set on fire and decapitated but finally he gets shot in the heart and dies. unfortunately the protagonists (+ another cop who witnesses the killer doll) realize that nobody will ever believe what happened. which is where...........

child's play 2 (1990): ...........picks up. the police deny everything but andy's mother corroborates his story and is placed in under psychiatric care while he is placed in foster care. the company that makes good guy dolls is threatened by all the rumors about what happened, including the possibility that there was something defective about the doll or someone tampering with it, so they rebuild the doll to show that there was nothing wrong with it and they were not culpable for what happened. so that's how chucky comes back. not only does he want revenge, he still wants to get out of the doll body, and he can only possess andy. meanwhile, when andy goes to live with a new family, the wife is very caring and the husband is very suspicious and callous towards him. he meets kyle, a 17 year old girl who is also a foster kid. he also meets tommy, a good guy doll left by a former foster kid who stayed in his new room, and to prove that he is a well adjusted, normal kid no longer believing the chucky story, he pretends to play with it and keep it around. of course chucky destroys the doll and buries it in the backyard and replaces him and starts killing people again. andy is sent away again, leaving kyle to discover that chucky is real by herself. they end up being lead to the good guy doll factory for the final showdown, which is really quite a fun ending sequence. again there are a couple false endings but eventually kyle kills him by exploding him with an air hose. andy and kyle leave together wondering where they can go next. something interesting to note is that there is also a novelization of this movie that adds some backstory to charles lee ray, which has been completely overwritten by the canon established in the tv series. also the film features actress grace zabriskie (who you may know from twin peaks) as a character named grace poole (a name borrowed from jane eyre by charlotte brontë) which is a fun little easter egg to me. apparently there was also controversy around this film since it was known to be a favorite of the man who committed the port arthur massacre although there is no connection between the content of this film and the crime

child's play 3 (1991): there's an eight year time skip (if that doesn't make sense to you based on the release dates, you would be correct - production of this movie began before they even finished filming the last one). the company that makes good guy dolls decide it's been long enough since the murders happened to start making those dolls again. unfortunately chucky's remains were still in the factory, and they contaminate the first doll that was made, bringing him back to life. again, he wants revenge and a new body so he immediately tracks down andy. meanwhile, andy is now 16, played by a different actor obviously, and he's enrolled in military school after bouncing around different foster homes for a few years. so chucky sends himself in the mail to andy, only to get intercepted by a younger kid, tyler. since chucky technically is in a new body, he realizes he can tell tyler his secret (that he is charles lee ray - this is a deviation from the first movie, where the secret was that he, as the doll, was actually alive, but this new meaning of what the secret is is used for the rest of the series) and possess him instead, which is what he tries to do. murders occur, andy tries to stop them, nobody believes him, etc. there's a very underdeveloped love interest story arc also. the most memorable part of the film is when the school has a paintball "war" and chucky replaces the fake ammo with real bullets. eventually andy, tyler, and the girlfriend face off with chucky in the haunted house of a carnival that happened to be nearby (yeah, it's contrived lol) and chucky gets pushed into an industrial fan, which destroys him. so, this movie is widely regarded as one of the weakest in the series and i agree, it's pretty boring. the writer don mancini has said that there was pressure from the studio to rush production and he was basically out of ideas so soon after making child's play 2 and i think that is very clear. however i would say that this is the movie that paves the way for the humor and personality that is the foundation of the future chucky movies. there was also a lot of controversy around this movie in connection with the murder of james bulger, a toddler who was kidnapped, tortured, and killed by two 10 year old boys (the youngest convicted murderers in modern british history) although there is no real link or even confirmation that either boy watched the film. also, another notable horror actor andrew robinson who played the dad in hellraiser was featured in this film

bride of chucky (1998): released the same year in which child's play 3 was set, this movie takes place a few months after the events of the previous film. after this film, the series drops the "child's play" name and uses the naming convention "x of chucky" for the remainder of the films. bride revitalized the series, taking it in a more overtly humorous direction. it's also the first film in which andy is not the protagonist and establishes a LOT of the pre-doll possession charles lee ray lore - so let's get into it. enter tiffany valentine (a role made iconic by jennifer tilly), charles lee ray's girlfriend before he died. she finally tracks him down after 10 years, stitches him back together, and brings him back to life with voodoo magic. she tells him that she found the ring he left on the mantel and knew he was going to propose to her before he died, and he laughs at her, telling her that he got it off one of his victims and was gonna pawn it. obviously she's pissed so she locks him in a cage with a talking bride doll similar to a good guy doll. he breaks out, kills tiffany, and traps her soul in the bride doll so that she's stuck with him. unfortunately this is a stupid fucking idea because neither of them want to be trapped as dolls forever but to switch bodies they have to get an amulet called the heart of damballa, which chucky was wearing the night of his death, out of his grave in hackensack, new jersey (but wait! you might be thinking, i thought he could only possess the body of the first person he told his secret to! which is why he kept going after andy in the first place! yeah forget all that, there's an amulet now. idk. btw damballa is the god that gives chucky his power via voodoo magic, it wasn't really relevant until now so i didn't tell you but this is consistent in all of the movies and the tv series). so tiffany gets her neighbor jesse to drive the dolls to hackensack. the reason that jesse agrees to do this is because he and his girlfriend jade are being kept apart by her asshole cop uncle who is her legal guardian and keeps threatening to ruin both of their lives if they keep seeing each other, so they want to leave town together and need money to start a new life. this works out great for chucky and tiffany because they'll each have a body to possess once they get the amulet. so jesse and jade go on this weird roadtrip, then everybody around them starts dying and they're the main suspects in their murders. both of them start to be suspicious that the other one is guilty. meanwhile chucky and tiffany are killing people and falling back in love with each other. eventually they reveal that they are alive to jesse and jade, who, while being held hostage, turn them against each other. they make it to the cemetery in hackensack, but at that point tiffany is so pissed at chucky and feels sympathetic to jesse and jade's love story, so she tries to kill him instead (saying, "we belong dead," a line from the movie bride of frankenstein (1935) which she was watching right before her death). chucky kills her and then is killed by jade. the very last scare is tiffany giving birth to a little evil doll baby. which sets the scene for.........

seed of chucky (2004): for the record i think this movie sucks. it's easily my least favorite in the series. i didn't even get through the whole thing the first time i tried to watch it. however, it also has some of the best lore of the series, which is pretty fun, and it has some queer themes that are interesting to see. so obviously chucky and tiffany have an orphaned freaky little doll monster baby. they end up being kidnapped (?) by a cheating ventriloquist who keeps them in a cage and calls them "shitface" and makes them perform in their ventriloquist act. at the same time, the chucky and tiffany dolls are being used in a movie based on the "urban legend" of the killer dolls. shitface realizes they must be their parents because they share the same "made in japan" mark on their wrist as the chucky doll which they see on a promo on tv, so they to hollywood to find them. when they get there, they accidentally bring their parents back to life by reading the words on the heart of damballa, their only family heirloom. chucky and tiffany try to settle on what name to give them and debate their gender; chucky wants him to be "glen" and tiffany wants her to be "glenda." unable to come to an agreement, they focus on the real problem which is how they can get different bodies. they decide they'll possess actress jennifer tilly and the director of an upcoming film who she's trying to "impress" to get the lead role. however, tiffany swears off killing and tries to forbid chucky from killing, too, for the sake of their family. obviously both of them immediately kill a bunch of people. glen/da kills a couple people accidentally but under a high amount of stress reveals that glen and glenda are actually separate identities, glen being sweet and innocent, glenda being a killer. anyway they impregnate jennifer tilly, who through voodoo magic gives birth to twins. however, chucky abandons the plan, deciding he's going to embrace his identity as a killer doll. he and tiffany fight and she flees with glen/da. she finds jennifer tilly at the hospital and possesses her. chucky makes a reappearance and attacks them, but glen kills him by dismemberment/decapitation. they possess the twin babies, a boy and a girl, one for each of their personalities. in the epilogue, tiffany lives as jennifer tilly, raising glen and glenda by herself. she kills the nanny when she complains that glenda is unstable and violent. so yeah! this one gets really meta. john waters gets his face melted off with acid. etc. a fun fact about this one is that the movie promoted that paris hilton was NOT in the film - this is because she's briefly featured as a character in the film played by a lookalike, and her press team didn't want people to think it was actually her

curse of chucky (2013): a soft reboot of the series that returns to a more straightforward horror approach. introduces the character nica pierce (played by fiona dourif, brad dourif's daughter), a young woman who is paraplegic and lives in a big, old house with her mother, who she has a somewhat tense relationship with. someone sends her mother a good guy doll (without the scars and stitching chucky had in bride and seed), which she dismisses as a joke or a mistaken address, but of course she winds up dead. nica's sister, her husband, her daughter alice, alice's nanny, and a priest she has invited (to nica's chagrin) come to stay with nica. the sister tries to convince her to sell the house and tells her that she's not capable of living alone. family tensions rise to the surface; namely, that the sister is having an affair with the nanny and the husband suspects, so he puts a camera in the good guy doll. they also watch some home videos together and notice a creepy guy hanging around their mother in the footage, who nica later recognizes as charles lee ray. anyway people start dropping dead in this big old dark house and nobody can find alice, who is playing hide and seek with her new best friend chucky. before she is killed, the sister peels off the paint covering the scars that reveal that it's the same doll from the other murders. nica figures out that the doll is possessed by charles lee ray but of course nobody believes her. after killing her whole family besides alice, he tells her that before he died, he had been infatuated with her mother, kidnapping her while she was pregnant with nica after killing nica's father. she somehow called the cops on him and, enraged by her rejection of him, he stabbed her in the stomach, causing nica to be born paralyzed from the waist down. nica and chucky fight, and she injures him, but he gets away when she's found by a cop who comes to the house. she is found guilty of the murders in court and sent to a psychiatric institution. in the end, tiffany gets chucky from the police evidence and sends him to alice, who he plans to possess. in a post-credits scene, chucky is mailed to an adult andy barclay, who shoot him as soon as he cuts his way out of the box.

cult of chucky (2017): last movie!! nica has been held in a high security psychiatric institution and now is being transferred to a medium security institution after "making progress" by accepting that chucky was a product of her psychosis after she killed her family. her therapist brings in a good guy doll as part of her treatment, and it is adopted by one of the other patients who thinks it's her dead baby. the next day, nica has a visitor. expecting to finally get to see alice again, she's disappointed that it's actually tiffany valentine, who says that she was alice's legal guardian, but alice had died - we later learn that chucky possessed her, but she died when one of his victims fought back and his soul jumped back into the doll. tiffany gives the doll to nica in remembrance of alice. nica eventually recognizes her and realizes that chucky really is possessed. she tries to slit her wrists with a spoke from the wheel of her wheelchair but he stitches her back up and slits the wrists of another patient, starting off the killings. knowing that no one will believe her, nica tries to stop chucky herself without drawing suspicion back on her. meanwhile, in the outside world, andy has been having trouble adjusting to normal life. he's been keeping the decapitated head of the original chucky doll and torturing it (as he deserves to, tbqh). he hears about the murders and realizes that chucky has found a way to split his soul into multiple bodies. so he goes to the hospital to try to stop him. at the hospital, there are now 2 chuckys running around, soon joined by a third doll that arrives in the mail. not only does chucky possess the new doll, but he also possesses nica, supernaturally giving him the ability to walk even though she is paraplegic. so andy gets himself committed to the hospital by attacking a guard, and he's locked in a room by himself. the newest chucky doll attacks him, but andy reveals that it was him who sent the doll, hiding a gun in its stomach. then nica!chucky comes after him and he tries to shoot her, but he runs out of ammo and she locks him back up. she reunites with tiffany and they drive away together with the tiffany doll who is also possessed. in a post-credits scene, kyle shows up at andy's house to keep torturing the original chucky doll.

child's play (2019): a reimagining of the original movie that does not tie in to the rest of the series

chucky (2021 -): i'm not gonna do a full synopsis of this one because there's just too much plot but i will give you a rundown of 1) the relevant lore you need to know to watch the tv series, 2) the pre-doll possession charles lee ray lore that's established by the series, and 3) other lore that is established in the series and relevant plot points

what you need to know:

there are multiple good guy dolls possessed by chucky out there, which andy and kyle are on a mission to track down and destroy

chucky is still possessing nica and tiffany is still possessing jennifer tilly, they're on a murder spree but their relationship is as tumultuous as ever, and sometimes nica regains fleeting consciousness/control of her body

the twins glen and glenda are in their 20s now (they're both nonbinary and use they/them pronouns btw) and they don't remember anything about their doll self, which tiffany-as-jennifer has been hiding from them, and they don't know anything about their absent deadbeat dad

apparently chucky is still using good guy dolls to possess because he can only split his soul into identical forms ? which doesn't make sense lore-wise but that's what don mancini has said lol

charles lee ray grew up in hackensack, new jersey which is why his body was buried there in bride and that's where the tv series takes place (in season 1)

the first 3 child's play movies are canon but the series always goes defers to what's established in bride of chucky when it comes to any differences in plot (as well as overall tone/humor)

pre-doll possession charles lee ray lore:

charles lee ray grew up in the suburbs with his parents in the 1960s. it's a pretty normal childhood until a serial killer breaks into his house and kills his father. when his mother tries to get him to hide in the closet, he kills her, "helping" the serial killer. that's his first kill. after that, he starts seeing a therapist, who encourages his violent behavior. eventually, he goes to live in an orphanage. he's a leader to the younger boys, introducing them to the story of peter pan. one day, they're playing in the woods and he leads them to "captain hook," the body of the janitor who he killed and replaced his hand with a hook. the other boys run away crying except for eddie caputo, who later becomes charles' partner in crime (the guy he vows revenge against in the first movie after his betrayal). after this, he goes on the run. years later, he meets tiffany valentine at a nightclub. they kill a woman together. he tells her she should be blonde and she tells him he should go by chucky, which brings us to the versions of the characters as we know them throughout the series. tiffany and chucky move in together in chicago, but after the honeymoon phase is over, chucky starts killing people by himself, annoyed by her "nagging" that she misses when they used to kill people together. angry, she calls the cops on him, leading to the police chase that is the opening scene of the first movie.

so, the premise of the tv show:

14 year old jake wheeler is a misunderstood kid living in hackensack. he buys a good guy doll at a yard sale for an art project that he's working on. obviously it's chucky and he starts killing people, but he also attempts to befriend jake and coerce him into killing people, too. of course things start spiraling out of control from there.

more lore:

chucky keeps trying to get a kid to commit murder because he needs to get an innocent to kill for this voodoo spell where he can put his soul into a bunch of dolls

season 2 takes place in a catholic school and a bunch of the legacy characters return (andy, kyle, nica, glen, and glenda) to perform an exorcism along with the main characters jake, lexy, and devon and the headmaster of the school (played by devon sawa). because of the exorcism, chucky is infected by catholic magic and can no longer call upon damballa to give him his power, and he becomes trapped again in the doll body which starts becoming more and more human and aging rapidly. this becomes a big part of the plot in season 3, which primarily takes place in the white house, as he tries to sacrifice as many people as possible to appease damballa, but it doesn't work. at this point in the story he is slowly dying of old age

at some point there's a cult of chucky dolls in the woods near the catholic school who kidnap and torture andy ?

at the end of season 2, glen is fatally injured. tiffany transfers their and glenda's soul into the original glen/da doll, now called g.g.

tiffany-as-jennifer is put on trial for all the murders and at this point in the story is in prison on death row

so devon sawa is in every season of this show despite being killed (at LEAST once) every season. in season 1, he plays jake's father and uncle who are twin brothers, in season 2 he plays the headmaster of the catholic school, and in season 3 he plays the president of the united states

there was also a documentary that was released in 2021 before the tv series came out called living with chucky where they interviewed the filmmakers and a lot of the actors who are featured throughout the series. i thought it was pretty good, it's on tubi

anyway i think it's really interesting to see a series last so long and make so many pivots to keep exploring the story and the characters in new ways. at the end of the day the first two movies will always be my favorite but bride of chucky is also so fun and so iconic and a perfect response to changes in the genre and brought a lot of new humor and energy to a series that had pretty much fizzled out, and it has been really fun to watch the tv series in real time as it comes out. the next episode actually comes out tomorrow night!! so let's see what happens. anyway i hope i didn't make you regret asking me this and thank you for giving me an outlet for my crazy about this silly little movie series

4. How easy is it to earn their trust?

Her trust is easy(ish) to gain and easy to lose(I know that "how easy is it to lose their trust is also a question but for the sake of this answer I will include it). She's someone who may have been more gullible when she was younger and was repeatedly betrayed by it, and thus has learned to become more cynical of new people. This comes from a lack of or difficulty with recognizing patterns in social cues (speaking very much from personal experience as an autistic kid growing up). She still retains a level of sympathy and optimism for gaining trust, especially when they've made a good first impression, but she tends to fall back on bad assumptions if someone's slighted her, and it's only after communicating further and patching things up that the trust is more strongly instilled. Her sense of trust can be distilled into "optimistic about potential new encounters and cynical when the encounter happens".

6. Do they consider laws flexible, or immovable?

Gingull's sense of "right and wrong" comes from her dad King, who taught her that laws can be an unfair but necessary evil, in that there's a reason for each law to be in place, but that reason won't always be the morally correct thing. King takes a more passive approach to this, but urges Gingull to take whatever action she feels is correct to do. When she was younger, she was probably more likely to be compliant with laws, and formed her own opinions on them as she grew older and encountered direct consequences of the laws. She considers "laws" to be rules set in place by someone else arbitrarily (and not an innate sense of morality)

The question is honestly a little vague and I might have to delve deeper onto what the laws of Slug City are, which would be an interesting post and thinking exercise. Like, are laws formed by one individual, suggested and voted on by the community, or a mix of both? or a secret third thing? It would be informative in structuring the city so that I have more to work with when it all falls apart.

7. What triggers nostalgia for them, most often? Do they enjoy that feeling?

I haven't thought about the specifics of Gingull's life growing up all that much, besides the fact that she's always been close with King(dad) and Alfin(sibling). I feel like it would be fitting for her to feel nostalgic for the simpler times, playing in the summer and not worrying about school or politics or other complicated feelings and things, especially after the accident that mutilated her face and being involved in the city's conflict. Part of her character development is her coming to terms with being allowed to grieve for what was lost, accepting her new life and situation, and being angry at the system that causes her new life to be very difficult. Nostalgia for Gingull comes with bitterness at the realization that not everyone was allowed to experience it, maybe a twinge of survivor's guilt, especially later on when she finds out what happens to all the other experimental accidents(answer: citywide coverup). This all fuels Gingull's eventual desire to help the other suffering citizens(and the despair with being powerless to do anything about it alone).

      “The titans are headed this way.” Clara nervously played with the edge of her shirt.

        “Yeah, I can see that.” “Hardly.” Clara giggles. “Hey watch it, freak lover. My hand still works.” Levi playfully threatened. “You have to let me change those bandages soon.” Clara mentioned. The blood might seep through soon if she didn’t, and she didn’t want to keep the same dirty bandages on. 

       “I did good, right?” Hange appeared from behind Levi. “Yeah, you did. You did everything I taught you with the minimal equipment you had.” Clara complimented Hange’s work. Hange lightly blushed, a smile peeking through. “Levi, do you mind if I talk to you for a second?” Hange waved him over. Clara waved them off before walking to the edge of the stone path, looking down at the trembling waters. 

        It wasn’t titans that scared her. It never was. She dealt with dead people and worked with blood for a living, of course some giants wouldn’t scare her. It was losing her dear friends that scared her. She already had to patch up to many of her students and close friends. It was getting worse by the second. She was putting her own friends in body bags. Luckily, Levi’s injury was bad, but nothing Clara couldn’t fix. 

           Hange saw Levi’s face form into an angry, heartbroken expression. How could they leave him? Leave Clara? Leave them in such a vulnerable position? But he knew it was needed. This was Hange’s purpose. 

        “What are you gonna do about her, eh? You can’t just leave her here.” Levi held back how he truly felt. He had to be strong, for himself, for Hange, and for Clara. Hange just smiled, a small giggle leaving their lips. 

           “I’ve got my ways with her.” Hange shaking their head. Hange sighed, looking up. “You understand, right Levi? My turns come at last.” They say. Levi didn’t reply. “I’m giddy with the desire to make a cool exit.” Their eyes shine, smile growing by the second.

       “Don’t stop what i’ve got going.” Hange told him. Levi said nothing, but instead pressed his hard fist against their heart. “Dedicate your heart.” He muttered. Hange laughs, looking down at the floor behind Levi.. “That’s the first time i heard you say that.” 

         “But you promise me, Levi…” Hange trailed off, hand clenching over his hand. “You promise me you’re gonna keep my Clara safe.” Hange whispered. “With my life.” Levi muttered through his teeth. 

        “Hey, Clara!” Hange called her over. Clara turned around, wondering why Hange was all geared up. Were there new orders? “Hey!” Clara smiled. “What did Levi say? Why are you all geared up?” Clara pushed her loose hairs to the side. 

      “Nothing at all! Just wanted to talk.” Hange scratched their neck. “About them? They’re pretty big. Bigger than I thought.” Clara shivered at the thought. Hange took off their cape, wrapping it around Clara. “What’s this for?” Clara looked up at Hange. “To keep you away from the titans, silly.” Hange poked at Clara’s cheek. 

      “Alright, something’s up. Spit it out, Hange.” Clara crossed her arms. “I just wanted you to see how cool I look.” Hange was really trying to make this easy for their lover. But it wasn’t. Hange had such a big spot for Clara in their heart. No matter how many times Clara would scold Hange for throwing Armin off the roof or testing Eren to his limit, Clara would always love Hange.

        “Cool doing what? C’mon stop being like that, tell me what’s up.” Clara placed a hand on her hip. She had gone into serious mode. One where if you messed with her she’d get pissed off. Hange smiled at this, placing their hands on Clara’s face. Hange’s lips touched Clara’s, molding perfectly into each other's lips.

       Hange pressed their forehead against Clara’s, kissing her nose, before kissing the small freckles on her skin. The same ones Hange used to draw shapes on before kissing each freckle individually. Hange pressed one last kiss on Clara’s lips, to which she finally understood. 

        Her grip tightened on Hange’s wrist, her eyes now glossy. “Stop it.” Clara shook her head. “It’s everything I've worked for, Clara. You know that.” “Hange, stop it right now. You’re out of your fucking mind.” Hange finally freed themself from Clara’s grip, backing up. 

        “I love you.” Hange waved and laughed, before running off into the sky. “Hange, no!” Clara ran towards Hange’s direction. Strong arms wrapped around her, grunts leaving her lips. “Let me go! Levi, please. I can't lose anyone else, Levi! Please!” Clara fell into a sobbing mess.

All Levi could do was sit there with her crying in his lap. 

       “How could I be so blind? So stupid?” Clara shook her head. Levi rubbed her back softly. “We have to get on the flying boat.” He helped her up. Levi rushed them to the aircraft, settling Clara onto the seat beside him. Everyone around her was in distress, upset by Hange’s choice.  “Hange.” She whimpered under her breath, fingernails digging into her face. “Oh, Hange.” Was all she could say. 

       Yet, Hange wished nothing more than for Clara to hear their last words. “For you, my Clara.” Hange said, with such pride. With such love for Clara. For the love of their life. Clara grasped the edge of their cape. “For you, Hange.”

Octoboss content: chapter 2

“460 cc’s, four stroke, air cooled.” The sun was down, and the woman sat cross-legged with the bikers at their campfire. “Machined up north, me pa’s design. Ain’t nobody can make an ultralight like he could.”

“How much guzzoline’s it drink?” Tyro wanted to know. Beside him, Sketch had gotten over his disappointment and leaned in, listening with interest.

“I don’t feed her straight guzzoline; mix it with oil. But she’ll drink a lot of things. I’ll pick up old cook oil from over at Bugtown, swap it for dry fish coming south and bullet lead coming north.”

“Where’s Bugtown?” VW asked, stirring the stewpot with a ladle. Tonight’s fare was made from lizards, mystery meat jerky, and the last of the crumbled up hardtack. The woman had contributed a packet of crusty-looking dried blobs; a lifetime in the Wasteland had taught the men not to question what they ate as long as it was food, and no one asked what they were. Huxley had tried one before they went in the pot and said it was sweet, that it would go well with the lizard.

“That way.” The woman pointed northeast. “About a day and a half flying. But there’s a big patch of salt between here and there. Don’t see nobody riding on it, so I don’t think you can cross it except by air.”

The Octoboss had taken off his helmet and leaned one elbow on it. “What kind of mileage you get?”

“She’ll go for about four hours on one tank of fuel. I can go longer if I glide and use thermals.”

He pondered this for a moment. “That what you were doing when you landed? Why we didn’t hear no motors?”

“Yeah. Can’t fly with a blown motor. So I switched it off and glided till I found a good spot to land.”

VW gave the pot another stir and lifted a ladleful out to sniff. “Think it’s done.”

It was a custom the Octoboss had established years ago: his point riders ate first, then any sick or wounded. Then the rest of his crew got their share. He himself ate last. Tonight, he nodded his head toward their guest.

“Let the lady eat first.”

She fished a tin cup out of her pack and held it out to receive the first ladleful. The others followed in their usual order, then he took the ladle from VW and filled his own cup. The following silence was broken only by slurping and by Brakeline swearing when he burned his mouth. Finally, when they had all licked the last of the grease from their fingers, the woman reached into her gear and pulled out a small round drum.

“You like music?”

“Know any metal rocks?” Huxley leaned forward. The old songs were a favorite in the Horde, and Dementus was known to reward anyone who could play a banger about fast cars, pretty women, and good times. It was a good way to cool tempers and get everyone’s engines revving together. The woman thumped her drum thoughtfully.

“How ‘bout Paradise City?”

The song was practically sacred to the bikers of the Wasteland. The woman’s voice rose over them, backed by her hand drum and the growl of the others singing along, then Tyro, who was the only one of the crew who could carry a tune in a bucket, took over with a couple lesser-known verses. Paradise City was followed by Highway To Hell, the Immigrant Song, and Manic Mechanic; the woman’s voice rose like a kite or rumbled like wheels on a good smooth road, and she belted out the words with the confidence of a History Man. When Huxley suggested a song she didn’t know, Tyro sang a few bars to give her the beat and she accompanied him on the drum while he sang Back In Black. As they wound down, she shifted to a slower beat and two songs they’d never heard before: one about hard work and choking chemicals, the other a wistful number about dreams and visions and rain. The Octoboss stretched out his long legs to the fire, watching her, as lost in the song as she was in the singing. The fire died down to embers; the last notes of the song drifted up with the sparks. Sketch and VW were already asleep; Huxley was curled up under Tyro’s arm, and Brakeline lay on his back, gazing up at the stars. Quietly, the woman tucked her drum into her pack. She glanced once at the Octoboss, then turned toward her plane. He rose to his feet as she did.

“I’ll walk you back.”

The silence of the desert seemed almost benevolent in the wake of her singing. The moon was full tonight, and he studied her as they walked down the slope.

“You got some pipes on you. Like a bird.” They were almost to the plane. She glanced up at him, quizzical, and he fumbled a little. “Not a crow, I mean, something nicer…” Something he hadn’t heard since he was young, and had never learned the name of.

“A lark.” She caught the fumbled thought and tossed it back to him. “’Least that’s what we say back home.”

“Yeah. Lark.”

She returned his gaze, didn’t look away, didn’t flinch. The derringer was in the thigh pocket of her coveralls; she had crossed her arms, tucking her fingers into her armpits. He took as step towards her. She didn’t step back.

“That was a slick move you pulled back there.” His voice was low, appreciative.

“What, pulling a gun on you?”

“Pick the one the others look to and cap him. You knew they’d back down.”

“I figured you’d stop ‘em. Or else I’d give a good accounting of myself on the way out.”

“They’ve got my back. Or my front, as the case may be.”

“They gonna leave me alone?”

“They will. I told ‘em not to bother you.”

“You got a lot of faith in your boys.”

Something almost like a smile pulled at his mouth. “Yeah.” She was a full foot shorter than him; if they stood toe-to-toe, he could rest his chin on top of her head. He was tempted to try, just to see how far her fearlessness went. Instead he broke the moment off and turned back to his camp. “Watch out for camel spiders. They’re bad around here.”

“Yeah. You too.”

He couldn’t resist one last look over his shoulder, at the plane, at its pilot. “G’night, Lark.”

Okay, So I wanna finally post something for the little event/compition that @laurzzz  has for their fic, WWITS. I’m tossing my hat into the ring! Pun not intended.   Because I don’t want to be too long with the post I have a small summary with more information that will be under a keep reading line. ^^;;  She is a character with piebaldism. Her hair and skin is white in certain places and she was raised by her grandparents as long as she could remember. Her family would not tell her what had happened for her parents to not be able to see her. Anyway, as she grew up she started hearing about the expansion west and followed the route to see if she could try to get more money to help out her grandparents. Being a minority in America in the 1800's made it hard for them to get good jobs and they soon started work as a person that broke horses. She soon started to be able to understand the behavioral differences in each horse which made it easier for them to break them. Essentially, she started being better with their balance and started to do trick riding without a saddle.

Bakari Williams  Stage name:   Equineox Appearance; Stands at 5’8” and her hair is black with her eye color being hazel. Her hair and dark skin is covered with white splotches as she has piebaldism. Making her have white strands of hair and white patches of skin. Preshow, she wears jeans, a solid color button up shirt and regular cowboy boots that have been tended to several times. This all allows her to tend to the horses for the show and move them to where they need to go. Showtime attire: Normally a short skirted lime green leotard with multi colored glass beads sewn into the waist and choker. She has a white lace collar that latches in the back. Backstory; Born with an odd pigment mutation, Bakari Williams was seen more of an outsider to most. Knowing more sympathy and kindness from her limited family that had helped raise her in such a small home in the city. She was taught how to fend for herself as she wasn’t afraid to really fight for herself. Though, her violent ends to conflicts were often reprimanded by her grandparents who raised her. Which she cared for deeply as she knew them more than her own parents, whose fates she never knew. All she knows of them is what was told to her from family members. As she grew up, stories of others making it big in the west. She traveled west when they became an adult. Mainly to help with some of her family’s financial struggles. However, being a woman of color and an unheard mutation of the skin, many did not want to give her work. After consistent bothering of one of the locals, she finally found work. It unfortunately was to break horses, the man who had hired her hoped to scare her off with the more wild mustangs on the land. However, that wasn’t what happened. With pure determination and will to prove something of herself, she kept with the work. Being more stubborn than a mule, she had managed to tame every stallion and mare that was given to her. As time went on, she was able to tell the body language of the horses and work on her body strength to keep on the horse, allowing her to break them faster. Eventually, she was able to not only raise money for her family, but pay for a better horse to travel with and practice her skills. Soon, she was able to work on simple tricks at first, but as she practiced more and more, she was able to do more amazing feats of balance and tricks. From balancing on one hand, to jumping from one equine to the next, to a backflip. All while the horse continues to move. Personality: Tends to keep to herself as she's tending to the horses for the show. However, if anyone makes any of her friends or family upset or uncomfortable, she will roll up her sleeves to smack some sense into whoever is causing any issues. That, and she's very stubborn as she is used to trying to bend equines to where she needs to go (Or want to go). So she's headstrong, proud and kind. Her act includes feats of acrobatics while on horseback. Front balancing on posts strapped to the horse back, to backflipping and leaping from one horse to another while in full gallop. I’m not good at full descriptions and talking about the character’s biographies. ^^;;

Ayo so 9ft tall hot alien colonizers am I right 👀👀💫??? Thanks sm for writing the PERFECTION that is Revenant 💕✨️💞 BTW that fic got me thinking...

So after the events of TWOW, Miles, near dead tbh, comes across a Nav'vi woman who was separated from her family when trying to escape one of his RDA raids on the villages in search for Jake. She's terrifed of him because she remebers him, but her kind soul patches him up and nurses his weak form back to health in her makeshift home. When recovered, he takes her in for reasons immediately unknown to him or her (but he tells his commanding officer some bs about gaining the hostiles trust or something).

She, being just an average ocean Nav'vi with no warrior spirit in her (kind of like a temeperment similar to Tsireya) can't understand a word of English, and Miles can only understand 5% of what she's saying. They have lost their only reliable translator (Spider), so Miles wants to learn to communicate with her directly because he hates 3rd party communication anyway (as shown by his continued attempt at learning and speaking Nav'vi). He starts to teach her English using his very limited Nav'vi that Spider had taught him.

At first she is of course terrified of him cause he just took her to a place filled with Sky People (of which her only experices with involve deaths, cruelties, and pain). She wonders why he took her with him (spoiler: he took her cause she helped him, was cute, all alone, and the lost/scared/helpless eyes she gave him when he initially came across her got to him. I imagine she looked similar to how Tsireya looked when her dad yelled at her for her allowing Lo'ak to bond with the outcast).

As Miles starts attempting to talk to her in her language and teach her his own language, she starts seeing another side of him. The side that loves his comrades, loves his son, had listened to his sons pleas for mercy on her people, has strong duty to his people (which is respected in her village), jokes around with her and his comrades, and protects her even when really has no reason to since she's technically the enemy. She has to fight this growing warmth and respect for him with the horrible things she sees him do to her people for his mission and personal vegnece against jake, and the horrible things the Sky People he has strong loyalties to continue to do to her home of Pandora. Ofc they are also both physically attracted to each other so this can be mature rated if u feel comfortable (I surely wouldn't mind a bonding ... or several occuring).

Mostly, Miles teaching her English and trying to get past her initial fear of him and all his dominating "demon" presence when he can barely communicate with her. It'd be cute if the first thing she learns to call him is "colonel" because that's what everyone calls him. And even though he later teaches her his name, she still calls him that endearingly. Like, "Miles" is for when she's mad at him 😂.

Miles is real patient with her because she is a good girl. Shes just mostly scared and confused by many things in her new environment (her own emotions most included). Miles is mostly just being himself around her, very aware that shes watching him quite cautiously and curiously. Because of her distrust of Sky People, she's by Miles' side alot, but mostly stays silent because she can't really understand what others are saying around her in rapid English so she just pretty much ignores everyone else and focuses on her Colonel. She reads his eyes, his ears, his tail, and his breathing just to know what's really going on with him. Even after she learns some english from him, she has also learned to understand Miles without his having to speak. Miles keeps his Nav'vi by his side and she answers to no one except her Colonel. Legit Miles would be mad protective of her. No one touches her but him. Real territorial ish. I'm sorry this is getting outta hand. 😂

I adore the whole idea of her being able to read him without necessarily understanding the words coming out his mouth, I think he pairs so well with someone like that (lord knows that man would rather have his tail bitten then talk about his emotions).

Would 10000% be extremelyyyy over protective, that terrified expression on your face the day he met you still makes him grimace. You’d have to always be in his eyesight or tucked safely under his arm.

I also think that once you had settled down at his side, the crew would begin to accept you more - your kind nature practically forcing them to.

Like a baby sheep being taken in by a pack of wolves that absolutely adore you.

All the zaunists, that are main characters, know how to sew.

Sewing is an extremely useful skill and since all of them come from a background where it would be almost necessary..... It's also a good way to relieve stress so they desperately need it.

This headcanon has a lot of potential imo.

Viktor is fairly good at sewing, he knows how to repair almost everything. In my head it wasn't rare for him to have incidents while creating so lab coats or normal clothes are no match for him, you won't even see he put his hand on those.

When he went to piltover his skills improved, you know when you have to maintain your only uniform, which your parents worked hard to get you. This is actually canon, Viktor's parent saved money for months so they could buy him a uniform and he pretended to be a student until Heimerdinger noticed him, which probably included explosions, knowing the character.

He cannot create clothes tho, he's skilled but not really interested in fashion.

Jayce never eve earned how to sew, his family had other plans for him. Hhhhhh So when he comes more in touch with Viktor's way of working and incidents start to appear more and more frequently...

- btw this would happen, Viktor had highly valatile magic rocks in his home for months and when the kids went there not a scratch was found; this man is cautious. Unlike Viktor, the guy that when a window explodedhe started to worry -

He just sends hs clothes to some tailor, but he also starts to notice all the patches on Viktor's lab clothes and he's like "did you fight with a racoon????" but his buddy is just too tired to sew properly.

He may or may not start to ask Viktor to teach him after he failed to convince him to send his clothes to a tailor.

And ok maybe he DID scratched hdi shirt on purpose so that he could've have an excuse for asking

And he may or may not have done that to convince Viktor on taking a break from lab work but you didn't hear that from me.

Vi can sew perfectly. Her mother taught her since a very young age and it's an activity that makes her feel more close to her mum.

And he knows everything about clothes and had her ways around leather.

She made Powder's various outfits and partially her owns, but with those Vander helps a great deal, he's a little less fancy but tries his best.

Since we're talking about Vander, he didn't learn as a child like almost everyone on the list but was thought by other people in his life and finds it very difficult, and since he has become the protector of the undercity, it's difficult to find the time but often bonds with Vi expecially when she tries something difficult and he's there to give her tips or even whole tutorials that he can recite by memory.

Caitlyn on the othe hand cannot and will never learn how to sew.

They tried to teach her.... It didn't work.

But she's ecstatic at Vi's hand movements, she would almost cry when Vi makes her a dress, and then another, and jackets and and and... They would take their calm moments to close to each others, Cait reading or polishing her various old guns, while Vi learns embroidery or repairs her old jacket...

You know who can also sew very well? Benzo. He may not admit it but he has gotten good with the years and is skilled in a wide variety of materials.

Ekko is also very skilled but only wit specific kind of materials or untypical ones. He manages to implement them in his day to day inventions.

He doesn't really sew his own clothes but personalises them.

Benzo taught him... But he learns fast and quickly surpassed him. Nn He would be the one teaching the kids in his city how to sew... And they would all make him a beautiful outfit... I won't say that he'd cry but he would.

You can bet your butt that Silco knows indeed how to sew.

He may not do that often or, like, entirely now that he's a mafia boss, but he's damn skilled.

Like Vi he knows how to repair, create and design clothes and knows how to work mostly with that. And he may not make him himself anymore but if those clothes aren't specifically made for him to fit his particular style I don't know what to tell you.

It would also be funny if he developed his patience teaching Vander how to sew.

They were friends right? Almost like brothers, I can't believe they would pass 100% scheming or smth.

Benzo and Silco teaching Vander how to sew would be extremely funny because sewing... Is just like this, it takes quite a lot of patience and sometime you don't even know what's wrong?????

So now even if it pains him just to remember, Vander knows whole tutorials that were prepared specifically for him and repeated to him over and over again because he's an hothead.

Benzo didn't have the patience, he was great with tips tho.

Powder/Jinx knows how to sew.

Vi taught her the basis but it was mostly something Vi would do with Vander while Powder was busing inventing and creating, togheter in the same room.

After her second family died, she found sewing again with silco, this was a way of bonding that she knew even if only in the back of her mind and would've probably started the firs time she ever ripped her shirt.

Silco would recite suspiciously similar tutorials to her...

Buck x Tim headconnons

I feel like they would be a good duo

Buck can fight, but he's just retired to fight. Just tends the Bar he owes

They will both beat peoples asses, if they fight together

Tim makes fun of Buck for being old, but Buck doesn't get mad he lets it slide

If its Buck's b-day, Tim will steal him little gifts (Buck gets mad at Tim for stealing but is thankful for the gift)

If its Tim's b-day, Buck will let him have free beer (only on his birthday)

Tim dares Buck to fight him, but still losses to Buck anyways 😂

When Tim is having a bad day, he will go to Buck's bar and spend there all day till he's drunk (maybe will often tell Buck about his bad day, and Buck will try his best to comfort him) I thought that will be cute♥😭

Since Buck has a dog (I feel like it should be a girl and her name should be pig) But Buck's dog loves Tim and Tim loves her back, he loves playing with her and she loves playing with him

One time Buck was laughing at Tim, because he was getting attacked by Pig while playfighting, and she accidentally bit Tim so hard he ended up having a scar on his neck (ofc Buck took Pig off Tim, but Tim was hurt so badly he couldn't talk right for a few week😭)

Tim wasn't mad at Pig, but was mad at Buck for laughing at him💀 (its fine if u don't like the whole idea)

When Tim's car isn't working and he need to go some places, he would steal Buck's car and Buck finds out, gets really pissed at him for stealing his car

Speaking of Buck's car, Tim like riding with Buck when he's running errands (Tim's passenger princess😭 Buck is forces to buy him stuff) 💀
