I've been thinking a lot on actions, mistakes and regrets from the past lately, perhaps because the present is so uncertain. However, I've been worrying over things that have already happened. So I asked the cards "What do I need to learn from my past?" I drew the 5 of Cups, the 2 of Pentacles and the 3 of Cups from The Carnival at the End of the World Tarot. ⭐ The 5 of Cups shows me a man who has found himself covered by snakes. He thinks they provide him with armor and protection but in reality, this only hurts him as all the snakes know is to bite. Just as this man uses the snakes to keep him safe, I've been looking into the past because it is something certain for it has already happened. I don't need to dwell on the past to keep myself safe. ✨ In the 2 of Pentacles, an android balances to reels of film. He is the keeper of memory and he is always trying to find the balance between the past and the present. This card is urging me to do the same, to remember the journey I took to get here so that I could live my life completely, so that I could experience all that life had to offer. I have to find the balance between the two. 🌠 The 3 of Cups shows me a person dressed in blue. He has covered himself in honey for he has heard that you can attract more with honey instead of vinegar. He no longer wishes to be alone with his thoughts. This card is a reminder that I am not alone in this present, that I do not need honey to call people to me. I simply need to reach out if I find it too much. We are all in this together, even if we are apart. This morning, I asked the cards “How do I engage in self care today?” I drew the 6 of Orbs and the 6 of Chalices from The Spirit Keepers Tarot Revelation Edition. 🌟 The first thing that strikes me is that I can engage in self care by finding balance. I love the balance of these cards, the two sixes that greet me with joyful messages. Earth and water, emotions and body are in balance today. The cards are letting me know to give to myself. I am very good at being giving to others and often find it difficult to treat myself with kindness. I need to stop and take a moment to show myself some love and when I’m giving to others, remember that I deserve love too. 🌟 The cards are asking me to remember a moment in my past when I did engage in selfcare without a thought. What changed for me? When did self care start being difficult? As I engage in selfcare today, I need to look to the me from the past and let him know that it will be okay.
