Throwback to the time I discovered one of my theriotypes was a dracula parrot and I decided to make a tiktok about it because I was excited and I said that they were gorgeous and someone said "im kinda questioning if your a real one but im minding my business" and I explained that I wasn't faking and they straight up said "i was just questioning cus it is weird you said "i like how cool it is" and "its gorgeous"" like sorry I like my own theriotype ig I forgot that when you're a therian you're supposed to suffer all the time and be unhappy about your theriotypes and not like them or think they're beautiful even though they're animals and animals are beautiful and getting to identify with one especially a bird when you've loved birds your entire life isn't something that you're allowed to be excited about because being a therian is only bad and you're not supposed to find joy in it even though it's literally your life

oh dang guys,, im questioning another theriotype great

so at first i thought it was a cameo shift, i felt tail feathers and wings, cause i had started thinking about parrots (specifically macaws) and i got really sad bc i wasn’t one- thats not normal for me when i cameo shift. and when i was a little kid i’d pretend to be the birds from rio which isn’t a big indicator but still. and you know, i wanted to fly(still do)and stuff, and i sometimes get the urge to squawk.

honestly when i was younger i just wanted to be a macaw and i still do tbh

ima do a LOT more research tho so-

dress in lots of whites, yellows, and blacks!

wear a towel or blanket around your shoulders to feel like wings!

snack on nuts seeds and fruits!

connect to nature in a forest!

decorate your livingspace with rainforest or temperate forest decor!

paint your nails black or get them done long and sharp like talons!

get lots of puzzles and riddles to challenge that corvid brain!

🍄 Favorite landscape to be in would probably be a flower field or some nice rolling plains… favorite landscape or biome to imagine would be somewhere with glaciers! I would love to see a place with actual snow and ice someday.

There are some I think I might be sure of though— a calico cat, a scarlet macaw, a fox, technology in general, and I think I might be a bug of some kind!
