oh dang guys,, im questioning another theriotype great

so at first i thought it was a cameo shift, i felt tail feathers and wings, cause i had started thinking about parrots (specifically macaws) and i got really sad bc i wasn’t one- thats not normal for me when i cameo shift. and when i was a little kid i’d pretend to be the birds from rio which isn’t a big indicator but still. and you know, i wanted to fly(still do)and stuff, and i sometimes get the urge to squawk.

honestly when i was younger i just wanted to be a macaw and i still do tbh

ima do a LOT more research tho so-

dress in lots of whites, yellows, and blacks!

wear a towel or blanket around your shoulders to feel like wings!

snack on nuts seeds and fruits!

connect to nature in a forest!

decorate your livingspace with rainforest or temperate forest decor!

paint your nails black or get them done long and sharp like talons!

get lots of puzzles and riddles to challenge that corvid brain!

🍄 Favorite landscape to be in would probably be a flower field or some nice rolling plains… favorite landscape or biome to imagine would be somewhere with glaciers! I would love to see a place with actual snow and ice someday.

I know I’m not a kinner or a therian, so it’s hard to differentiate for me! There are some I think I might be sure of though— a calico cat, a scarlet macaw, a fox, technology in general, and I think I might be a bug of some kind!

otherkin ramblings and also Technically coming out even though this is public information on my pronounce page? i dunyow. for context i'm harpykin and puppetkin. yes, at the same time. i'm working on bonesawing my sona to reflect this.

anyway, yeah. i got curious about what i'd find if i looked up harpykin today, and found a lot of people. kind of overwhelming.

i don't know how to explain the feeling of actually Going and Looking other than how a parrot feels when they grew up surrounded by people and spoiled and they look out the window one day and there's an OWL !! OR A HAWK !! vague fear response that is definitely unnecessary. i'm an inside bird.
