Scott had been nursing a bottle of pale ale when he noticed Lydia and Isaac dancing with Allison. His dark hues narrowed slightly, but he didn't voice his disapproval yet. The mood hadn't completely soured when the brunette approached him. "Am I that obvious? I wanted to spend time with you too, but I guess I needed to wait my turn." He grinned back at her sheepishly as a rosy hue tinted his cheeks. "Well, what are we waiting for?" Without missing a beat, Scott stood up and grasped Allison's hand. "I actually like this song, so now's the perfect time to dance." Once they made their way to the middle of the floor, he let go of the huntress's hand and swayed to the catchy tunes. He couldn't remember when he'd last had fun since he'd become pack Alpha. The demands and needs of everyone else usually took priority over his own needs.

I don't know what to tag when I make quotes using just side OCs from my Wizard101 and Pirate101 canon, like family members. Hell I don't know what to tag it sometimes when I'm using just Allison and Talon.

Context and character history under the cut

My Wizzy and Pitty OCs started with just Wizzy originally. Lindsey Dreamstalker as my Young Wizard was my main character. Then I made Allison, Liam, and Talon as her friends from Earth as backstory characters.

(Well technically Talon made himself but that's another story).

Then they became more relevant side characters and I made an AU where they found some of her magic stuff or something and ended up washed up on a shore in the Spiral and becoming pirates in a quest to find their way home. This was what I dubbed my Pirate Friends AU and it didn't follow anything about Pirate101 at the time as at that point every attempt I made to get into Pirate101 had failed. In this AU his made Liam the captain due to his already established skills putting him as the best choice for the role. I made his dad, Logan, a boat enthusiast to help with that, which eventually just became canon.

Then I finally successfully got into Pirate101. And the Pirate Friends AU sorta morphed into a proper Pirate101 AU. Which eventually just became canon.

Liam became the Young Pirate from Pirate101, with a few tweaks to his story. Like his parents being alive on Earth and raising him there because at this point Liam had existed for years at that point and I wasn't about to basically uproot his entire life story I had for him up to that point.

Talon became Liam's first mate. Allison was also with them as part of the pirate crew.

So I always tag Lindsey as solely Wizard101 and Liam as solely Pirate101 unless they have a quote with someone from the other side.

It gets more complicated when you bring all the other OCs into this tho.

Allison and Talon I think I usually tag as either Pitty or both depending on how I feel when tagging them at any particular point. Because they originally started as Wizzy OCs but I guess they fall more under Pitty at this point? But not tagging Wizzy feels like denying their connection to Lindsey because they aren't the main character of Pitty like Liam is.

Then it gets even more muddled when you bring their families or, worse, unrelated Earth side OCs like Taylor Bristol.

Liam's parents, Logan and Claudia Everhart, are the only ones I wouldn't really have as much struggle tagging as purely Pitty as the parents or the Young Pirate whose existence are now very strongly tied to the Pitty side of things.

But Talon's parents? Allison's parents and siblings? Hell even Lindsey's parents, brother, and sister-in-law are harder.

Lindsey's Earth family really have nothing to do with the world or story of Wizzy. But they are the Young Wizard's parents.

And Allison and Talon's families? They have nothing to do with either Pitty or Wizzy.

All 4 of their families have been very tied together both in and out of the story. They all practically raised all 4 of them together so it doesn't feel right just going with the blood relations.

It's probably best to tag all the Earth OCs as both because there's not really a clear cut line between them like there are for the Spiral characters and OCs.

But it still kinda feels wrong and annoying doing it that way but there's not really a better way.

adjusting the box of cupcakes in her arms,  jude peered up at the building in front of her with awe in her eyes. violet had told her she lived in a big apartment complex, but it was bigger than jude had imagined. she felt something tremble in her stomach—nerves or excitement, she couldn’t tell. she wouldn’t deny that she was excited to see violet again; she’d always found the writer to be cool, and being able to hang out with her outside of school was a privilege that jude didn’t take lightly.

then again, according to her mom, jude took everything either far too lightly or far too seriously. she’d never been good with moderation.

adjusting the box again, jude squinted at the door to the apartment complex. it was locked with a code to get in. violet hadn’t given her the code, and jude hadn’t thought far enough to ask for it before coming. jude ran her tongue over her lips as she debated her options here. she could always text violet to come let her in, but the box of cupcakes was rather large and jude didn’t trust her clumsy self not to drop it if she tried to hold it with one hand. this was, in a word, a pickle.

“can i help you?”

jude looked behind her, seeing an unfamiliar man standing on the sidewalk with a grocery bag in hand. she was blocking the doorway. she scooted over to the side and threw him a grin. “hi! i’m here meeting a friend. her name is violet greene? we’re supposed to be studying, but i don’t know how to get in and i can’t ask because id on’t have hands, and i’m...” what was a word for this? “vexated.”

the man furrowed his brows at her. “that’s... that’s not a word.”

damn. she thought she had that one.

he stepped past her and keyed in the code for the door. it let out a buzzer noise and clicked. he pulled the door open and nodded her forward ahead of him. with a large grin and a word of thanks, jude went past him inside. “i’m jude,�� she introduced. “do you want a cupcake? i brought cupcakes! i thought violet might want some, you know, as compensation for dealing with me and helping me study. i made, like, four different kinds. and they’re labeled,” she added, wiggling her brows.

the man snorted. “i’m derek. and that’s alright. violet lives below me, but i can tell her to come swing by and get you from my place.”

“okay!” jude agreed readily.

derek gave her a dry look as they stepped into the elevator, ascending to the top floor. “if a strange man tells you to come into his apartment, don’t agree.”

jude tipped her head curiously, giving him a confused look. “but you’re not a strange man. you just said you’re derek. and i offered you cupcakes! we’re practically best friends already. we’re... indoctrinated.”

“yeah, that’s not what that word means.”

jude laughed, the sound bouncing off of the walls of the elevator. derek couldn’t help but smile at the sound. she was young and a little silly, but her heart was clearly pure. the only reason he hadn’t pointed her directly to violet’s apartment was out of protectiveness. he didn’t know jude, and even though the first impression was good, he didn’t trust her. they’d been burned before, by high schoolers and college students and adults alike. perhaps it was silly of derek not to trust anyone, but he wouldn’t.

when it came to violet’s life — to anyone in the pack — he would stick to his obsessively overprotective guns before letting anything happen to her.

the door to the loft opened and derek stepped inside, jude trailing behind him. there was only one other heartbeat in the apartment, and derek easily attached the scent to allison. he wasn’t surprised that his sisters and the knights were gone. they always found ways to entertain themselves, especially with the rest of the pack living in the floors beneath them.

“whoa,” jude exhaled, spinning around to look at the loft. “this place is bigger than my entire house.”

“small house.”

“huge apartment!”

derek looked up in time to meet allison’s eyes. “hi,” he said, giving her a small smile. he knew she would read the tension behind it, even if jude couldn’t. “this is jude—-violet’s friend from school.” and he knew she would understand that, too. if there was anyone in this entire world who would understand the way derek’s mind worked — the way he shot first and trusted both last and least — it was allison.

E lá na central falaremos sobre como ficarão as vagas que sobraram e como elas poderão servir para futuras aplicações de perdidos, mas vou deixar vocês absorverem as contratações primeiro e me contatarem caso tenha erros para podermos organizar!
