This means that the alter is now free of those symptoms, the stress and everything else, but that also means Virgil is burdened with it and will need comfort and support to get rid of it. May hold intrusive fears about leaving things on, forgetting to do certain things or things being done incorrectly. The best way to help with these is to go check on the things he’s worried about. 

> Inner world occupation or behavior: Is a bit of a shut in, doesn’t really go out much or leave their apartment much. Storm goes places with Roman but that’s about it, doesn’t feel like leaving. May take personal trips to get coffee or just have a bit of outside time, especially if it’s raining but otherwise prefers to stay inside. 

> Possible outerworld behavior: If Virgil fronts alone it’s almost exclusively with a sense of panic. Even if doing something that storm enjoys, he will still be slightly panicked, there might be a buzz in the skin or a tenseness in your entire body. If you’re experiencing some sort of anxiety or panic, Virgil will immediately alleviate that from whoever in front is experiencing it, at the cost of becoming stressed out rainself. The only way to calm him down is to front Roman with him, which isn’t difficult, she seems to have a sort of spidey sense when it comes to Virgil being anxious. Likes having quiet personal dates with Roman.

So I was hella inspired by @mogai-monsters recently and came up with this little fella. He’s not really related to anything MOGAI (since thankfully there’s no shit like panicgender or whatever, I hope), but he kinda came out of the idea to create positivity for a lot of stuff Tumblr loves to overindulge in negativity, in this case panic disorder (something I have).

This fellow is part of a species that has an antenna on top of their heads that goes off whenever they’re in danger. However his antenna broke and now it fires off at random, causing him to go into flight-fight-or-freeze mode at seemingly non-sensical times. He struggled with it at first, since the reactions are too overwhelming, but soon found a way to healthily cope with his attacks, and now he’s just as outgoing as he’s ever been.

Sometimes you’ll catch him show up near someone having a panic attack, giving them support until they’re able to calm down.

He’s only able to say his name: Yukan. Which sounds both like the Japanese word for “courage” and like the expression “You can”.

Okay, let’s just take this apart bit by bit, shall we @panicgender​?

I’m going to start with the question of “Where are exclusionists calling inclusionists pedo?” in the tags, as that’s the easiest one for me to answer. 

They’re doing it all over the place, in those “cute” little “Ironic how most, if not all, inclusionists are pedo apologists, rape apologists, homophobic, lesbophobic, transphobic, -insert phobic- isn’t it??” posts that I see at least once a day in the discourse tags.   We’ll follow that up with the times that I personally have been called a pedo apologist - even after clarifying that I am a CSA survivor myself and that I am anything but apologetic towards my abuser or anyone who would harm a child in such a way.

Now, we can move on - but really it all boils down to this point:

Not necessarily.  I could look at the naked body of somebody that I’m not sexually attracted to, find them aesthetically pleasing (sometimes naked bodies are just beautiful things), and my body could get aroused.  The fact that my body got aroused does NOT mean that I am sexually attracted to said person; The two things do NOT always go hand in hand.

Or are you really trying to say that if a person has a penis that gets erect during rape, it’s clearly because they are looking at the woman’s/man’s/NB-person’s body and like what they see?

THAT is what I mean by the rhetoric being similar.  Rape apologists use the line “Well, their bodies were exhibiting signs of arousal - so they must have been into it/attracted to me.” which is real goddamned close to how some exclusionists come across when they say shit like “You got a boner, so you must be sexually attracted to them”.  You (general you, not you specifically) don’t get to split hairs and pretend like “No, no - we really meant it like this” when the wording is nearly identical at this point.   

Instead of attacking the people pointing out the similarities, maybe change the thing that made the person notice the similarities in the first place.
