I like to think that Link was part Lokomo, so he could have feasibly hosted Malladus if Zelda managed to get away. That's not to say Zelda's in the clear— Cole and Byrne are still actively looking for her— but Link will work as a temporary solution. At least until his body burns up.

Hope Zelda's good under pressure; she's on a bit of a time crunch.

If I had a penny for every book about a boy of noble birth who watched his whole family be killed in front of him and narrowly avoided death himself, ran away and hid in an orphanage before someone unaware of his true identity recruits him into the regime that murdered his family (said regime presents the idea of everyone being equal while in reality being deeply flawed) and now has to work alongside people who would likely kill him if they knew who he really was, I’d have two pennies, which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice

Headcanon the Alucard's features began to change when Greta got her first white hair. So, in a way, they grew old together.

Her spine remained straight until the end, the corner of her mouth hiding a smirk, her hair, though color-changed, silky as ever. Her skin sagged, her fingers curled and her eyes sunk into her skull and became duller.

He couldn't properly age physically. His connection with Greta was so profound that by the time she reached her death bed, Alucard came to have a ghostly appearance, a cold beauty to him. His skin grew paler, his hair lost its golden shine and turned white, the flame left his eyes.

a song I associate with Flamefall AnnieLee is Make Up Your Mind by Florence + The Machine cause of the line "while you've been saving your name, I've been breaking mine for you" because she let the public ruin her name while he was writing in the paper that contributed to the slander

and damn did I feel so bad for Annie for the entirety of that book, which isn't to say she didn't make questionable decisions herself but she literally had NO ONE close to her that she felt she could turn to, she counted Crissa out because "she's Lee's friend first" she had to turn to her childhood bully because Power was the only one validating her concerns (and it made for my second fave dynamic in the entire series 😭)

pallor is an ai programmer who was executed by the government for trying to liberate a giant space moth. the government then resurrected hir using the space moth dna, and somehow did not foresee that it would only make her more mothy

(her earrings and her color scheme are based on the scarlet-bodied wasp moth. look them up, they're very pretty)
