MEET PALLAS ADAIR

Kate Adair’s life hasn’t exactly been going they way they always hoped it would. At twenty-two, they’re a mostly broke college student trying to earn their degree online, working two jobs just to pay for their tiny apartment, and dealing with the damage their recent coming out as non-binary has done to their relationships with their family. (They’re also trying to pick a new name for themself, because they’ve never liked being called Kate, but that’s kind of taken a backseat to all their other issues lately.)

With basically no social life to speak of - a combination of autism and anxiety not exactly making them a desirable friend - Kate’s favorite pieces of media have become their only comfort, and the most comforting of all has been the animated Clone Wars series set in the Star Wars universe. For as long as they can remember, Kate has loved the whole of Star Wars, but the series has always been a particular favorite, with its fun adventures and captivating relationships, no matter how much the ending always breaks Kate’s heart.

However, no matter how much they love Star Wars and the show, nothing could have ever prepared Kate to one day wake up in the universe of Star Wars during the second season of the series. All of a sudden able to use the Force, and in a unique way that no one from this universe can, Kate wastes no time informing the Jedi Council that they are fully aware of how this war ends, and it doesn’t end well. But they also quickly realize that it’s much too early in the story to tell the Jedi exactly what’s going to happen; they don’t trust the Council not to act too quickly, and there are plenty of things that still need to happen for the plot to get close to a satisfactory ending.

With all this in mind, Kate - who has finally decided on a new name, Pallas, which they think is fitting given the name’s origins - convinces the Council to let them train under Obi-Wan Kenobi, becoming the captain of the 212th clone unit. From there, a plan to change the way the Clone War ends forms in their mind: somehow, they have to prevent the sadder events of the series from coming to fruition, help Anakin Skywalker to realize that the Republic’s Chancellor is leading him down the wrong path, and all the while work to collect evidence said Chancellor so that, when the time comes, they will be able to leave the Council with no doubt that he is a Sith Lord.

However, while Pallas certainly didn’t expect any of these tasks to be simple, the realities of battle and being in a universe at war only serve to make them that much more difficult. As Pallas develops friendships, figures out their own unique way of using the Force, faces off against the villains they’ve been seeing on their screen for years, and even begins to build a deeper relationship with the clone captain they’ve always sort of had a crush on, they quickly come to learn that actually living in this new universe is very different from watching it on a screen, and that changing the course of a story already written might be even harder than they expected.

But that doesn’t mean they’re going to stop trying.

Because Pallas’s life might still not be going the way they’d always hoped. But the Star Wars universe is their home now, and it is a much better home than the universe they’ve left. So they will do whatever it takes, move the earth and the heavens and even the stars themselves, to save it.

Chuckling at the woman's words, Alice smiled and said "Hey, I'll also take a recommendation, that's great, too! What do you like to get?" As she listened to the woman speak, Alice studied her--the messy bun, the sophisticated clothing, the bright yet tired eyes. She was intriguing. There was also something familiar about her, though she couldn't quite place it.

I might be a little too Italian for this place. Alice let out a laugh and said in response "Yeah, I might be a little too Greek." And Brazilian--at least, kind of. No, Alice hadn't actually grown up in Greece like her brothers but she still loved to flex her Greek heritage, as well as her Brazilian side. When she mentioned that her daughter-in-law was the owner, Alice's ears pricked up. Oh, shit. No wonder she looked so familiar. She'd seen pictures of her before. "I'm so sorry, I didn't realize--you're Astarion's foster-mother, right? I'm Alice, I'm his sister."

Asteroid Hygeia (10): Understanding Its Signs, Houses, and Planetary Aspects

₊· ͟͟͞��➳❥ About the Asteroid: Hygeia is the fourth largest asteroid. It was named after the Greek goddess of health, and because she is the personification of health, cleanliness, and sanitation, asteroid 10 Hygeia may be related to these characteristics in astrology. It talks about sanitation and prevention, in the current studies of astrology, an art that doesn't stop, it is currently associated with how a person prevents their health in a physical, emotional and mental way, or at least, as it should.

˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ Sources and inspirations:Sadly, it's not because I care about my health that I'm interested in this asteroid LOL. However, there is another interesting reason for me to make this type of post. Asteroids, in general, are not used much in birth chart reading, and that's okay. In my view, your birth chart is like a cake, and asteroids are just toppings. My reason for looking into asteroids is due to their history. The first four asteroids found were Ceres, Vesta, Pallas, and Juno, all women. Before their discovery, the vision of women was limited to either daughter/mother (Moon) or wife/harlot (Venus). Women were seen as nothing more than that. Even though it didn't change much after the discovery, a new perspective on what a woman can be opened up, and that's why I write about it. There’s not much sources about asteroids, Hygeia is one in the middle ground, there's more than others but it's not very detailed. ˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ Asteroid Hygeia Rx: It can indicate people who need more time to recover from physical and mental illnesses. It also shows people who reflect a lot on their health and well-being and look for alternative methods of care. In a more spiritual context, it indicates people who worked with health in past lives.

A plastic lightsaber was swung around the privacy of their bedroom, accompanied by a voice enthusiastically recreating iconic lines from the franchise, and dreams of being part of the Jedi Order, of feeling the Force in the world all around and fighting for the light side of it, were had all day long, but especially in the dead of night, in the dark under a thick star-patterned comforter, when the person dreaming them really should have been asleep.

That birthday party that Kate had been forced to go to, held by the parents of a boy who the very next week had been caught trying to put pencil shavings in Kate’s lunch, had introduced them to a whole universe that had made their life infinitely better, and in the oddest way, they were grateful to that boy. He may not have wanted Kate to come to his party, but whether he’d wanted to or not, he’d given them something that had provided them with hope, something comforting to hold on to, during moments when they’d needed that more than anything.

Okay so, Stromae Polnareff is Polnareff's adopted son- he took him in from the streets of France when he was about 8. He hates getting help or having to ask for it because of his tough life on the streets. But when Jotaro goes off to Morioh, Polnareff suggests the Stromae tag along- since he's an adult now and deserves independence. (Hes about 19 during DiU) Despite a rough life, he wants nothing more than to be a chef as cooking is one of the only things that makes him truly happy. He takes up an apprenticeship at Tonios restaurant, after finding out about the place through Josuke. His stand is Fortress Round UR ♡. In reference to Fortress Around Your Heart by Sting. Im still really struggling with its ability, even after two weeks of having this oc, but I have a vague idea. Fortress is a more protective and defensive stand, that acts as a shield. When active, a forcefeild will appear around Stromae- anyone who comes in contact with the field itself will have thier emotions wildly skewed and manipulated. Its an emotions-based stand, which would makes sense as Stromae struggles with his emotions. Stromaes character arc is more centered around learning to trust others and being vulnerable enough to ask for help when he needs it. I'm thinking he also turns up in Golden Wind, but probably because SWF notified him that his father in trouble.

As for Pallas Temple. Hes a 24 year old jockey in the Steel Ball Run. Hes a very sparky and fiesty character, who often likes to taunt the other participants- but he has a good heart. Coming from an incredibly traditional background, Pallas has always longed to be a jockey- but hes parents believed that was only a man's job (Pallas is trans). Despite this, hed train tirelessly to become a great rider because he wanted to prove that he could do it. One night, while practicing- he was bucked off his horse and trampled. This left him with severe concussion that took his speech and made him terrified to get back on the saddle for a time. Not to mention, the recovery took a WHILE. Struggling with speech loss and apraxia because of his fall though wasn't going to stop him for long- as he went into the Steel Ball Run anyway. Hes hiding alot from his fellow riders, but thats fine by him. His stand, Dead or Alive- is just as wild as he can be. (Dead or Alive, by Bon Jovi) The stand itself is actually made entirely out of ransom notes, letters, and other papers. He often uses the ransom notes to speak, but this serves two purposes. Only stands users can see his notes, so he can weed them out rather easily from normal people if the are receptive to his notes. His stands true ability though (a freind helped me with this) is based on the notes aswell. In order to get out of the grasp of the stand, it opponents have to complete the tasks that the notes tell them to do. Examples would include: Cut your finger off, strip, jump off your horse. Minor to moderate tasks that are more meant to annoy but also to assert that Pallas could really control the situation if he wanted to.
