It's with a heavy but hopeful heart that I watch Palestinian families fundraise on here, slowly accumulating the precious little money to go around that they need to survive. However, not everyone is so lucky. A lot of Palestinians that have not had that kind of luck, that did not get early verification, that did not get massive platforms behind them from large bloggers, have approached me in my inbox, asking me kindly to do what I can for them. It kills me that I have so little to give myself, but I've seen this platform collectively raise enough to change someone's life. I've made a list of Palestinian fundraisers that are extremely low on funds, in the hope that drawing attention to people who have not been lucky at all can help turn that luck around. I know most of us can't possibly give enough to get all of these families safe in one go. But please, reblog this list. Pick one or two fundraisers, give what you can, and then keep track of it. Hanan and her husband have 3 young children, Lana (10), Abdul Karim (7), and Adam (2); since last year they've been displaced and without income.

Their house in Khan Younis was destroyed with them inside, as well as the clothing store which supported their family. Now, they live in a weak tent which fails to protect them from even the weather, surrounded by scarcity and disease on the coast of Ghazzah.

To help them evacuate and rebuild their lives, they are trying to raise $100,000 USD. So far, they've only raised $9,695; not even 1/10th of their goal.

Addendum though I'm not sure how many people messaging me actually read my posts: though I get paid this Friday, don't expect big donations. And I can't afford to do continuous donations so soon, either. It adds up. It will probably be all $10 donations or maybe $20 at most. It's not me trying to be stingy as much as it is there's many people who have wanted me to donate.

Sorry if I've ignored your messages. It's been really stressful not being able to afford to donate and hearing that it's urgent when there's nothing I can do about it feels even worse.

Due to last paycheck and sending donations, a few of which I'd consider large donations, I ran out of money to take care of myself pretty fast.

Operation Olive Branch is a continuously updating spreadsheet of Palestinian escape funds where progress towards their goals is being tracked. As of right now, there are over 100 funds listed there.

Any amount of money can make a difference. With their recent decision to bomb Rafah, the only remaining “safe” territory in Gaza, Israel has forced Palestinians into a corner by giving them nowhere else to go. The international community has given Israel the ability to act with impunity - it is long past the point in time to rely on those in power to hold Israel to any standard of compassion.

Nader is only a 17 year old child, but spends every day reaching out to people and trying to get help for his brothers Abdulsalams fundraiser for their family. His father suffers from cancer and needs treatment he can’t get in Gaza to survive, and his little niece is only 1 year old and suffers from malnutrition. It’s very urgent to get them help. Nader works very hard every single day to get his family to safety because he loves his family, and any family would be lucky to have a son and brother like him. But no child should have to do this just to survive. He should be going to school and hanging out with his friends. You can help take that weight off his shoulders.
