Chalo khwaab mein milte hain, Aur isi khwaab mein ek naya khwaab bunte hain, Khwaab mein titliyaan hain Jugnu chaand aur taare hain, Khwaab mein tum mere ho, Aur ye sab tumhare hain, Khwaab mein hum bheegte hain jaise koi baarish ho, Khwaab ek dhundhli vaadi hai jaise baadlo ki saazish ho, Khwaab mein sab khwaab sa hai, Har ek chehra janaab sa hai, Khwaab jaise koi phoolnagar hai, Kuch motiyaan thoda gulab sa hai, To chalo Na uss khwaab mein chalte hain.

Being an Urdu speaker means knowing how to read and write Arabic but not understanding it & understanding Hindi but not knowing how to read or write it. Also (if you're a Pakistani) your national anthem is in Persian.

ye tamannā hai ki āzād-e-tamannā hī rahūñ,
dil-e-māyūs ko mānūs-e-tamannā na banā
It has always been confusing for me as to what state are humans to assume. To be hopeful again hopes which is very hurtful or find solace in despair, have minimal or no hopes so that nothing can bother you anymore.

When Imran Khan said: sukoon sirf qabr mein hai
When Zauq said: mar kar bhi chein na paya toh kidhar jayenge
When Jaun Elia said: wo jo marney par tula hai usney jee kar bhi toh dekha hoga
when Fayyaz Hashmi said: na tum aaye na chein aaya na maut aayi
and when my heart longed for the lost feeling of peace. I wished: “na hum hotey na dil hota na dil azariyan hotin ”
