This is perfectly encapsulating how I spent my week. I put myself in so many situations that was unnecessary and meaningless- but I feel better knowing the work week is ending and I might (cough!) take a sick leave next week 🙃

Heerman's Gulls! by Ruby 2417 Via Flickr: Not a common species around here, but I think they're very good-looking, with their gray plumage and bright red beaks. This was a foggy morning on a gray-brown beach, the only color in the world was the red beaks, so no, the photo isn't color-adjusted. Pacifica, Ca. Sept. 2023.
