So, i started listening to wolfsong 🫡

Anyways, live laugh love Ox. Now listening to ravensong 🫶

Joe smells pinecones (and all the rest), Kelly says he smells "home," and Carter smells the old growth forest. The Bennett boys' mates all smell like Green Creek itself.

This was a difficult chapter for me to read, it hurt.

“Could I have a job?” I said in a rush. “It’s just we need the money and I can’t let her lose the house. It’s all we have left. I’d do good, Gordo. I would do good work and I’d work for you forever. It was going to happen anyway and can we just do it now? Can we just do it now? I’m sorry. I just need to do it now because I have to be the man now.” My throat hurt. I wished I had something to drink, but I couldn’t get my legs to move.

Gordo didn’t say anything at first. Then, “I think that might be the most I’ve ever heard you talk at one time.”

I finished Wolfsong today, and have put an order out on the rest of the GreenCreek series. Annoyed that I can’t start on Gordo’s story yet- but also pleased I get to draw out the feelings I’ve had over the first book itself. I laughed, I shed some tears and ultimately had a wonderful time reading Ox and Joe’s story. I love Ox Matheson with my whole heart and he truly doesn’t need to be more, he’s perfectly imperfect the way he is. Thanks TJ Klune for giving me angst and also addicting me to a new series. 🩷

My struggle has essentially been EXACTLY like the characters in this series, just as difficult, just as treacherous, just as HEARTBREAKING.

OMG please write something for Green Creek! Im obsessed and there aren’t enough fic’s on AO3 to keep me satisfied. I would love something from Joe’s POV during wolfsong

Joe knew he hadn't spoken in a long time, though not for lack of trying. He spoke a lot in his dreams, even if it was closer to jumbled screaming. But when he was back in the real world, it was like the words were stuck in his throat, all the way down in the dark pit of his stomach, which roiled unpleasantly every time he smelled the bluesadsonblue from everyone everywhere.

But then. Then Ox, Ox, Ox had come and there was no blue, there was no blue in sight. The dirt road was brown and the leaves were green and Ox's shirt was red, and Ox said it smelled like trees, but more importantly, it had smelled like candy canes and pinecones and epic and awesome, and Joe wanted to go rawr and grr, especially to scare away whatever made Ox sad. He didn't want any blue to touch Ox ever again.

Momento de lectura

La verdad no sabía, si debía comenzar esta lectura el libro se veía muy pesado...muchas páginas 😑😫 lo cual me aterraba, nunca leí un libro más de 500 pag.

Decidí comenzar a leer solo por una lectura conjunta y ME ARREPIENTO de no leerlo antees🫠, ahí como llore, sufrí y me encanto 💘

No lo voy a negar 🤫🫣 , al principio me resultó confusa y molesta la narración, hasta mas adelante una vez comenze no pude abandonar, hasta me fui de vacaciones con el libro 🏖 y me quede sin banderitas (señaladores de libro), ahí muchos momentos que quiero señalar todavía.

Si, bien ahí algunas cosas que me chocan del libro por ejemplo la edad y falta de comunicación, no lo cambio por nada 💜 fue una buena experiencia, todavía me queda unos tres libros más por leer 🫡 la manada tiene mucho por contar.
