This genuinely made me so happy. I had hopes when I read the first book but I've been burned by the "late bloomer/haven't found the right person" trope before, so I didn't want to get them too high up.

He's one of my fave characters too, and he's written so well here. Genuine joy. What a gift for pride month.

it is of kelly and robbie based on the lyrics "the leaves like broken shards of stained glass windows" from the song secret worlds by the amazing devil. the finished piece would've had them cast in green light (green green green) from the tree leaves akin to the way stained glass reflects onto surfaces

If you've never listened to tad before I highly recommend it! their music is magical really and imo not yet/love run (reprise) fits all the green creek romances so well, as you can probably already guess based on the title

Heartsong- im in the middle of the book but Bite the Hand by Boygenius or On Your Side by The Last Dinner Party suits to them really well.

Brothersong- i need to read it asap but im reading in polish and we dont have it there yet :(
