Love referring to characters who are never seen without each other as "bonded pairs" like yuuuup. if you put these two in separate cages they're gonna get real sad and anxious and possibly violent too, one of em is biting the bars as we speak. you gotta adopt both of them or none at all, it is encouraged that you take them both. they are most likely to thrive if they stick together. it is easier for them to get used to new environments and situations because they have each other. they do everything together because they love each other so so much. you COULD separate them but it's gonna do a lot of psychological damage and it's gonna lead to a lot of issues and there's a big possibility they'll never be the same again

Okay, I might be pulling this out of my ass but since that finals match was in Evermore that means the foxes should have been wearing their white away jerseys. Which means: the final match was a game of chess.

Not only are they wearing white, but they have first serve (Dan won the coin toss), and near the end the Foxes' king (Neil, because this is a battle between Riko and Neil) changes positions with the tower (Matt, a defenseman that towers over most people) creating the illusion of a castling.

And right there at the end, Riko attempts to kill Neil because they're in front of each other, but that's not how kings work. In the time it takes him to take that step, Andrew closes the gap and strikes. Check mate.

Y'all know Aaron was relieved whenever Neil eviscerated Marissa's attempts at exchanging numbers.

That whole dinner he sat there getting more and more concerned as Marissa flirted with Neil and Neil at least attempted to engage in the conversation. (Something he does not always do.) So Aaron's imagination started running wild imagining the flirting turning into dating, then Katelyn would want to go on double dates with them. Neil would suddenly be hanging out at Marissa and Katelyn's dorm, which was supposed to be a safe space from the Foxes for Aaron. And just altogether too much Neil involved in his life.

Little did he know it could actually be so much worse.

Neil Josten lets Andrew's his cigarettes burn to the filter without taking a drag. He hates vegetables. He knows all the places you can shoot a man without killing him. He got told he couldn't play exy with a bloody nose so he sniffed back the blood until they let him. He doesn't like movies or loud music. He hitchhiked halfway across South Carolina by pretending to be a sociology student. He gets sad when Kevin watches exy without him. He wishes he had his mother's patience instead of his father's temper. He's brilliant at manipulation. He's stupid on purpose. He was every inch a lie but his friends made him into someone real. He doesn't wear a jacket to the roof when it's cold because he knows Andrew's body heat will keep him warm. He thinks the hardest thing he's ever had to do was opening a tub of ice cream after kissing his boyfriend and not like, all the torture he's been through. Nobody is doing it like him

In general I hate a miscommunication trope but when andreil does it I’m just like “oh no one ever taught these two how to have a conversation, it makes sense for them”

My brain is stuck on this one bit of the Riko's death scene. It's not any of the important stuff or how much power Ichirou holds or anything like that. It's the cheek brush.

He brushes his brother's cheek just before killing him. This is probably the first and last piece of brotherly affection he gives Riko and it's a second before he kills him.

It's honestly beautiful.

"Ichirou cradled Riko's cheek with his free hand."

I could speak more on this but I have too much to say on this one line and half of it just sounds like incoherent screaming when it's rattling around my brain.
