ok one last discourse-y thing before I make an effort to focus on some stuff I do like but: I've seen a bunch of posts pushing back on the idea that Ashton is hypocritical, and I am not saying no one has said this, in fact I'd be entirely unsurprised if someone had - but I haven't seen that any time recently, and as someone who's grown pretty frustrated I don't think they're hypocritical at all! I think they're being immensely self-centered. I think "I have had a bad experience with the gods and therefore I'm going to fuck over everyone who feels differently" is a deeply self-absorbed position, particularly since the root cause of many of his problems are his shitty parents who did a ritual that nearly killed him and orphaned him, and a lot of his resentment is towards Jiana Hexum and the Nobodies. But it's not hypocritical - they are saying what they mean. I think their logic is terrible, but he's not saying one thing and doing another.

(I do also want to add - pointing out Ashton is a punk and punks are abrasive is like, a good explanation of why Taliesin is playing the role well, but it's useless as a means of pushing back against people who are frustrated with the character. I think a lot of punks are annoying, and I also think that most punks are intending to be annoying or abrasive. It is not a terribly intelligent argument to be like NO THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO BE ABRASIVE, like yeah man, they are, it's working very well in terms of pissing people off. They are pissed off. Are you trying to get people to approve of people who piss them off? That's dumb.)

I mean, I much much prefer Full Speed Ahead because it introduces Eurylochus and Polites much better, with you picking up their role in the narrative via musical cues and their lines, but this was so cute. especially the chorus.

My top fav riders are Mir n Acosta n they are both WDC's I could say loads about their titles but nothing actually worth reading so I shall talk about Mr F.Bag : F.Bag's title was so wonderful??? Breaking records and being the first non Japanese manufacturer rider to win a title in MotoGP for FIFTEEN (15!!!) Years????? Love to see it!!

Also not to sound like a loser on main but I do like listening to Omen by The Prodigy n think about everything Stoner+Pecco's titles !!
