Heute ging es, nach einem leckeren traditionellen ostfriesischen Frühstück, an die Wattseite der Insel. Am Dittwatt, am Surfbecken, dem U-Deich, an der Vogelbeobachtung am Südstrand Polder, am Sielteich, dann auf den alten Postweg, an den Dickdünen vorbei, an einer Thalassoplatform entlang bis zu @meinemeierei, wo wir leicht durchfroren und hungrig ankamen. Wir Spezis sind bei feinstem Sonnenschein, bei 18 Grad losgegurkt, und vergaßen Schal, Mütze und Handschuhe. Als die Sonne weg war, waren es nur noch 8-10 Grad und es pfiff ein eisiger Wind! Landeier eben! 🥚🌞🙄🤫🌬️🌥️ Nach einer Stärkung sind wir zur anderen Seite gefahren, am Surfcafé vorbei. Es war mittlerweile total grau und neblig geworden, das Meer war recht aufgewühlt. Wir waren froh, trockenen Fußes nach Hause gekommen zu sein. Zu Hause erstmal aufwärmen. Today I did something that I am still in shock I pushed myself to do. I competed in a NAGA competition🤯, I gave it my all and I got second place (No Gi division).🥈 In preparation for this I had to go through the process of cutting weight, weighing in the night before the event, and had to overcome all the anxieties that come with all that and then some.🥴 I won one match by points and lost one to a rear naked choke submission. Now looking back at the videos I see things I could have adjusted to have a potentially a different outcome but by no means am I upset with my loss. I considered walking in through the front doors a win so having earned a second place medal is so surreal to me. Last weekend Maria invited me for a photoshoot, something which I haven’t done in a long time (since I was a little one) and so I went out of my comfort zone and did it. I felt very comfortable with Maria, she’s amazing at what she does, knows the places for beautiful photos and helped guide me in how to be as well - which I was very grateful!! 218 Lbs.

So, recently I finished a surrogacy. Pre- pregnancy I had gone from 235 lbs to 170 lbs. While I was pregnant, my weight shot up to almost 250 lbs. As of last night, I weight 218 lbs, and I hate it. It eats at me drives me crazy. I am 2 and a half months post partum. Normally I bounce back pretty quickly, but this pregnancy, I had a c section. Which in itself is a whole different recovery process. It is major surgery after all. 

The thing is, I dont feel like I’m that big. It’s not til I try to wear my clothes and either they don’t fit, or my fat rolls over and it just makes me sick. 

I’m trying to work on self discipline. Last time I lost weight, it wasnt because I was dieting and exercising. It was mostly me not eating, some illicit drug use, and walking EVERYWHERE in 120 degree dry heat. Jeans, boots, jacket and all. 

This time, I wana do it right. So I’m coming to the one place that I truly feel like my self. Maybe by writing about it and putting it out there, I’ll feel more inclined to go through with it. I know I’m gonna fuck up.. probably a lot, but I’m not gonna give up this time. 

So if there’s anyone out there that actually sees this? Might be going through something similar? Or maybe even just wanting reciprocated support. Feel free to message me. <3
