I'm rewatching Outlander Season 1 and honestly it's just so good. I haven't rewatched it since the show started back in 2014. Thrilling television.

Season 5 I I just wanted them to have some peace, finally. Which I know doesn't make for exciting tv but just let them rest and have a nice little life, I promise I'd still watch.

Make and sell your homemade whiskey and grow turnips or whatever and run a nice little medical clinic. Give it roughly the same stakes as Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman. Throw in a bit more supernatural stuff, just for fun.

Outlander and representation

So, my parental units and I watch “Outlander”. The more, intimate, scenes are awkward- obviously- but we sorta just either ignore it or fast forward (we’re watching on Netflix). However, we’ve gotten to THAT part of season one, aka: I-hate-Jack-Randall-and-they-should’ve-killed-him, with Jamie and his whole prison situation. And that got me thinking... My grandparents watch the show. This is likely the only representation of a gay person they’ll ever see. Now, my grandfather- on my mother’s side- has had interactions/close calls with a few Jack-Randall type characters, so I figure his idea is set. But my parents, and my grandmother, have never expressed to me anything of the sort. I’m currently a closeted memeber of the LGBT+ community, and now I’m afraid that my family hates me. I don’t want to talk to anyone about this, because I don’t want to out myself. Is anyone else feeling this way??

My boyfriend got me the ring from Outlander than I’ve wanted so badly. He even got the size spot on!!
