With the tone shift Depresbian Dairies is going to take, in addition to the fact that I don’t really relate to Skirt-Wearing-Wren anymore (I’ll be 21 this year and my current look resonates more with 16 year old me) I decided to come up with some new outfits that ring truer to how I presently dress and feel. So that being said, what do we think- which outfit do you think looks best? I’m thinking maybe rotate them sometimes but mostly I’m trying to stick to just one. (Also we’re going all white with colored hair because there wasn’t enough contrast between the blues in my old design.) But yeah gimmie your thoughts please 🙏

poll time once again!

just bought this season's deer mask and decided to try to come up with an outfit that works with it best

specifically went with blue/pink mix, since the most visible stripes on the mask are also blue and pink (at least I think it's pink, it switches between pink and pinkish orange in different locations)

but I can't choose which hair to pick

I wanted to pick a hairstyle that had some light blue in it, to balance it out with pink, and it came down to 3 options, that I equally like:

two braids

two pigtails

and forester's hair (I chose this one because I think it's very pretty, however I'm not that sure about it, since the green colors of the flower crown and hair tie kinda clash with the rest of the outfit)

I finished the last outfit poll! Kimmuriel's everyday outfit ra ta ta!

As I described in the post of the fancy one, I hc him wearing quite simple and comfortable robes as regular outfit. I designed the robes sleeveless and used with an udershirt. He wears usually similar black robes, the maximum changes are the sleevelength and thickness depending the temperature and the finish of the material (I imagined them of matte or shiny spidersilk).

The undershirts are dark coloured and made of spidersilk too - I hc Kimmuriel is sensory for materials so most pieces of his wardrobe are of the same material - I find kinda funny (and can relate) that his wardrobe is the 50 shades of black (and dark blue/purple). Under the robes he wears tight and comfy leggings-like stuff and comfortable low heeled ankle boots.

The robes are open skirted because they are more practical and comfy and he usually wears a simple black velvet corset belt and arm cuffs. I love to add them to the outfit because they are comfy enough to the everyday shit but look elegant and a bit edgy. Having unholy long hair he used to braid it to gith braids on the upper part but the little stray hairs always escape and I find it kinda cute, especially pairing with his usually serious expression.

I also love the idea that regular drow use makeup and that the makeup has functional purposes besides the aesthetic reason, like eyeliners help to avoid tiredness of the eyes or tolerate the light of candles more than without using them. So I decided to give Kimmuriel some black eyeliner too.

I apologize for the long wait, but I finally have some results I can share for the outfit poll I ran in June! I was going to make graphics for each result, but seeing as there's around 330 outfits...I did not do that. Instead, I have made graphics for the top 10 outfits, as well as ones for the TRIP outfits that I'll be posting separately. I will also be posting the full list of outfits and how many votes each one got in a separate post, probably under a read more since it's a very big list.

Eras Movie Outfit (Poll 2)

One day till I see the movie! Literally like 17 hours until then. Since most people voted for Folklore I'm gonna do that. I usually wear stockings under dresses, which is what I'm gonna wear for the movie. I'm trying to decide between stockings and tights and what color.

Since some people don't know what stockings look like I'll put a photo of stockings and a photo of tights under it.
