Okay Canadians, it's our turn to vote and we've got to try not to mess it up like certain other countries.

Election day is THIS MONDAY (APRIL 28TH).

If you are a Canadian citizen and at least 18, you can vote.

If you didn't advance vote / mail vote, then you must go on Monday. Check out [elections dot ca], all you need is your postal code and it will tell you where your voting station is and the hours. Lines were long in some places on day 1 of advance voting, but that's extremely rare. You should be in and out in 15 minutes tops normally.

You do not need to check registration or anything. You are probably registered if you have filed taxes and checked the box for election registration, but even if you have moved since then, it is fine. If you are not on their physical list already on Monday, they will add you in like 1 minute with your ID. It's easy. Trust me, for some reason I am perpetually not registered despite always checking the tax form box, so I go through it every election. It takes 60 seconds and they don't judge you.

You need to bring: your government photo ID OR 2 pieces of pseudo ID like a utility bill and your student ID where at least one has your address. If you have none of the above, but you have a friend who lives in the same polling station area, you can literally bring them and they are allowed to vouch for you and you just sign a declaration page that you are not doing voter fraud.

Have to work? You are legally required to have 3 consecutive hours to vote. If your shift somehow doesn't have 3 consecutive hours off during the time your polling station is open, your job must give you the extra time off with pay to make it 3 consecutive hours. It's on the elections canada page under the FAQ if you don't believe me.

Also I'm not saying your hockey team will lose in the playoffs if you don't vote, but I'm not not saying that either.

genuine question, but when people read my series, again &. again, do you guys at least feel like you're part of the story? like an actual child feeling the neglect of a family who never wanted you? what main emotion do people feel when they read my story? is the neglect i'm portraying at least decent?

because sometimes, i feel as if i'm not delivering enough into some passages 😭 i want something meaningful, as if you are really going through the scene, experiencing the entire thing. so i hope i'm actually doing this series right especially since it's supposed to be angst-heavy hahahaha

hihihiii!! i know this is sooo random for my account, but a few months back i tried doing an informal survey about people and the psychology behind their connection to their favorite characters. unfortunately it didn't really work out. i decided to make a google form this time and give it another go ^-^

Study on Alter Relationships within DID/OSDD/UDD Systems

Hello! I’ve recently been interested in what way the relationships between alters in my system present, and so have decided to run a study to see how things are for other systems. I also wanted to research possible factors behind why relationships between alters differ between systems, so I thought this study could provide some interesting information on the DID/OSDD community generally.

All responses are 100% confidential, and there’s a longer informed consent statement which you’ll see before you start the study. It should take no longer than 5-10 minutes.

People who are eligible to take part in the study:

- DID/OSDD/UDD and other traumagenic systems. (You do notneed to be diagnosed, self diagnosed systems may take part.)

- Systems who apply to the above but do not have romantic or familial relationships in their system (Your response is still valuable!)

People who are NOT eligible to take part in the study:

- Endogenic systems or other system types who do not consider themselves to have DID/OSDD/UDD. (This is a study on how these relationships manifest in DID/OSDD/UDD specifically.)

- Anyone else who does not have DID/OSDD/UDD.

- Systems who do not have any knowledge on the relationships between their alters. (You may not be able to answer the required questions.)

I would really appreciate as many responses as possible, so I can have a big enough data set to draw some theories, so find the link below:

Even if you’re not eligible for the study, I would greatly appreciate any reblogs so that as many people as possible can take part.

I don’t have any set time for the study to close yet, but am aiming for at least 150-200 responses before it does. Stay tuned for any updates on that.

I hate those posts that claim "There's no homelessness in Finland!! Four day work week in Finland???!! Kids get long breaks between classes in Finnish schools and no homework!!!"

None of that is true!!!! Our current government is cutting funding for a lot of stuff and also making poor people even poorer. Unemployment is high and there's not enough jobs and it's tough to get even a very simple minimum wage job unless you have previous experience. If you're a student and your family isn't helping you financially you're most likely living in poverty and can barely afford food. The threat of homelessness definitely exists.

"The latest survey showed that 75% of Crimean Tatars are pleased with their life on the peninsula. This figure is very high," the agency’s chief Igor Barinov told TASS.

He said that only 27% of Crimean Tatars reported facing problems related to their nationality, down from 38% last year.

Barinov added that the Russian government has made a series of important steps to improve the lives of Crimean Tatars, including giving the state status to the Crimean-Tatar language and holidays, launching the Crimean-Tatar language channel and rebuilding objects of cultural and social importance, such as hoses, hospitals, schools and kindergartens.

"Altogether, it has already had some positive effect on the moods of Crimeans," the official said.

oh goodness i was not in a good mood but this made me feel much better thank you

it's a glitch, it has to be a glitch, there's no other explanation for it! you've scoured the internet, watched countless videos, even uninstalled and reinstalled the game multiple times- but nothing could explain why, out of all characters, Foul Legacy had spontaneously become playable and was currently sitting in your party, exactly where your Childe should be. to his credit, he was INCREDIBLY strong, easily sweeping any bosses and enemies you met along the way, but the fact remains that he's not a playable character in the first place! you're worried that your game is being hacked in some way, but when nothing else happens for a few days, well... you can't deny that it was kind of fun to have a character no one else had, and you've always been fond of Childe's Foul Legacy form- you refuse to admit to spending at least half an hour just watching him on screen gushing about how cute he was (he even has his own idle animations!!)

on his end, in the digital world of Teyvat, Foul Legacy is absolutely thrilled that you haven't reacted too badly to his presence- he feared you would hate him for occasionally using Childe's place for himself- he always gives it back afterwards, he promises! Legacy works hard to destroy any enemies in your path, silently trilling in happiness whenever you compliment him. since he's not much in the way of words, he curls up into a comfy Abyss moth ball if you ever put him in your teapot instead of simply standing there, perking up and fluttering his wings when you approach him. and as he promised, he ALWAYS gives Childe back his body at the end of the day- the Harbinger's a little confused and disoriented, but you always greet him enthusiastically when you log in the next day, so he's not really complaining

i do find it funny that when i first played Armored Core 6 i didn't quite get the like Rusty/Raven shipping or whatever and now like a year later when i'm entering dangerous levels of brainrot with this game and i first got to the Liberator ending again, i heard his "you're out of luck. there's only one person who can keep up with me" line and immediately went "oh he wants to fuck that weird little freak so bad it makes him look stupid"
