Enjoying some @old_trapper beef and cheese stick while studying for a class I’m taking in the near future. With the amount of time I’ve spent on the range, witnessed more accidents on the road and a spike in violent attacks I’m expanding my credentials when assisting anyone that may need it. Knowing land navigation is a crucial skill to have it you’re hiking especially off trail, hunting or tracking. Map scales come in different ratios for distance and how much is of the topographic features to reply on. If lost or you need to reorient, take your time, drink some water, catch a breath and maybe enjoy a snack like @old_trapper and then get your bearing. When you take two things you love and putting them together. Taking my favorite @old_trapper beef jerky and breaking it up into small bits, I drop them in my water as it starts to boil and when the waters ready, I pour the water and beef jerky into my @mtnhouse biscuits and gravy meal, stir and let it sit.
