What Partner Pokémon I think each Stardew Valley Bachelor/ette would have

I had so much fun making my cooking for the bachelors posts, that I couldn’t help but combine Stardew valley with another thing I absolutely love, Pokémon! I have been playing Pokémon since I was 8-9 and I’ve been enamored ever since.

!First Things First! Just like last time I’ll be going based off the vibes of our contestants, as with my last post this isn’t about favorites or dislikes, there will be bias on this because, like before, it’s my post you silly goose! Feel free to share what you think each person would have in the comments! Without further ado

Abigail: The resident goth of Pelican Town would seem easy at first glance, and while the gothita line appeals to me in theory, I happen to love making things difficult for myself, so I’ll go with the less obvious choice of Mismageous! Mismageous fits Abigail’s vibes well on its own, but if you factor in the theory that Abigail is The Wizards daughter, the witch Pokémon starts to feel a little more appropriate

Alex: Again there is the obvious choice of Machamp, but I think not only is that too obvious, but I also think there’s a better answer, one that fits Alex more, Riolu. The reason I have is simple, discipline. Riolu trains so hard to get better, master the power of its aura, and Alex does the same. He trains daily with push ups and working out, clearly trying to outdo himself every single day. That’s the type of discipline Riolu would want in a trainer.

Elliott: The most recent applicant of the Tortured Poets Department needs a pal that fits his constant state of the dramatic. Oshawatt in the anime is shown to a big dramatic baby, and the best part, Elliott lives at the beach, this duo of Shakespearian sea dwellers would pair like Peanut Butter & Jelly.

Emily: If you saw my last post you know Emily is the only person I’ve romanced so far, and while that remains true, last time I made a post like this I was confident in my choice for her, this time I don’t feel the same confidence. I couldn’t find any bird Pokémon that fit her energy, and short of copy pasting my favorite Pokémon (Chikorita), I couldn’t think of too much. My final verdict was Meditite. The easy way out sometimes is the only way out, and to this levitating little lad I concede defeat. They’re perfect, meditating together in perfect harmony.

Haley: As I said last time, Haley is growing on me, and with that in mind, I had to think how she’d think. What better partner, than a model for her photography. For Haley I chose, not Milotic, but instead Flebebe. The queen of the flower festival along with the flower fairy could absolutely pair so well together, and come on, think of the photos!

Harvey: Don’t say Chansey..don’t say Chansey..don’t say…oh whatever. Chansey just fits too well. Harvey is an awkward yet caring and healing nerd. Chansey is a caring healer. If Yoba didn’t want PB&J sandwiches, he shouldn’t have made them pair so well.

Leah: The artist of Pelican Town seems to go under the radar, at least in my play throughs, but I promise soon I’ll change that! While I could go Smeargle I still feel dirty about Harvey’s Pokémon, so I need to think outside the box, and I think Ludicolo could work for two reasons, admittedly not great reasons. The first, his little hat could be used to hold things while Leah works on her newest project. The second and in my opinion more valid reason is that Ludicolo could help Leah remember to relax, and not stress about every single thing. Art is hard.

Maru: Some may say this is the easy way out, but I think it’s clever. Instead of a Pokémon like Klink or Magnemite, my choice for our inventor is Rotom. The little ghost possesses machines and helps them come to life, is there anything more Maru wants? Okay, maybe for her dad to not be right next to her every second of every day but Rotom could help with that too…⚡️⚡️⚡️

Penny: The literary love interest is another one that kind of stumps me, but I think I cracked the code. Munna is my pick for Penny because of its ability to eat and help Penny experience dreams, helping an imaginative character escape the life she’s stuck in could absolutely give Penny and Munna purpose.

Sam: There isn’t a wrong answer for Sam, but for the thrill ride lover, my pick would be Charizard because of two reasons. It can fly, and also, look at Sam and tell me he wouldn’t love a flaming dragon.

Sebastian: Left out, out of place, doesn’t feel like they fit in or that their voice matters, you thought of one of two things. Sebastian or Mimikyu. Together these two could help each other find their voice, or in theory be at least a little less lonely.

Shane: In my last post I admitted I don’t like Shane. I’m happy to admit that’s not completely the case anymore based off what I learned about him and Jas, but this post isn’t about my feelings toward the characters, y’all wouldn’t read that. (Would you?) this is about partner Pokémon, and for Shane I was stumped, until I remembered the main arc of Shane. He needs a purpose. What better purpose than a Purrloin. My original choice was Lillipup but Purrloin simply fit the vibes better

Well after all this time we finally have the Sonic The Hedgehog 3 Movie Trailer and in celebration of that I wanted too make the Pokemon crossover with the Sonic Movieverse

This gonna be a lot of fun

Green Hills, Montanna

The Little Town with a Big Heart as the people living here liked too call it. Sprawling green fields, vast mountains, beautiful lakes, Green Hills really was a beautiful town too live in.

It all reminded Trainer of the vast lakes and fields in Galar and the beautiful Mountains of Sinnoh and Alola. The towns people were also very nice too Trainer too, and they had a lot of fantastic stores with a whole bunch of knick-knacks and such. There was an old Comic and Games shop which sold a lot of old items from this world. Trainer had ended up buying something called a Gamecube that came with some old games. Then there was this nice little Coffee Shop called the Mean Bean, however since Trainer was still a bit young for a Coffee, Trainer got quite a few well done sweets and a beautifully made Hot Chocolate. The Hot Chocolate even had this funny villian looking guy's face expertly made into it with the foam.

Though the bartender had a face of broken-hearted face the entire time they made Trainer's order. Trainer wanted too ask what was wrong but decided that it was best not too pry. After a bit more sight seeing and getting farm fresh fruits that had a strong reseamblence too some berries from Trainer's world. Trainer decided too head back home, though if any saw the way Trainer was taking they would be confused as too why such a yound kid was walking into the woods carrying so many items, all by themselves.

Which is what one Super Speedy Hedgehog thought as he trailed the kid into the wilderness

After a bit of walking Trainer made it back too a small opening in the woods were camp was set up and all the Pokemon were currently doing there own thing. Oshawatt and Meltan were currently playing next too the small little stone creek Trainer had set up camp near. Kubfu was currently practicing there punches and kicks on a nearby tree, and Grimmsnarl was currently making a fire pit with stones they had smashed apart. Mewtwo was standing atop of a tall tree over looking the forest too make sure they coukd see any approaching danger, along with Greninja who stood atop of another tree acting as a guard. Blaziken was currently kicking back enjoying the sun and the breeze and Pidgeot was currently flying high above the campsite, wanting too get some fresh sky air. Hoopa meanwhile kept jokeing with Mewtwo too bring some levity too the stoic Pyschic Type. When Trainer called out too everybody that they were back, everyone stopped what they were doing and went too hug and say hi too Trainer along with asking how there trip into the town was. Trainer told them all about Green Hills as they got together the cooking equipment for the Curry dinner they all were gonna have. Unbeknowst too them all that they were being spyied on by one blue hedgehog.

Sonic The Hedgehog

Sonic currently had his eyes glued on everyone, being both surprised and exicited at this revalation of there being so many unquie creatures just camping out in Green Hills. Sonic of course wanted too go and say hi to them all but didn't want too startle or scare any of them so while Trainer was cooking and all the creatures were talking amongst themselves, Sonic spent the next 5 minutes coming up with a friendly greating.

Sonic: * Hides behind rock* Ok maybe a, Yo what's up saw you all having a cook out and wanted to come say hi. Hmm, sounds a bit too plain maybe a, Hey how's it going ya new around here? Need a tour guide? Someone too show you were too get all the best Chilidogs, well I'm your Hedgehog. Ya that sounds good maybe tell them all about how awesome Green Hills is, introduce yourself. Yup that sounds like an amazing plan, * peeks head above his rock hiding spot* just gotta find the perfect time too introduce myself too them all. Oh Man, this is gonna be so cool... wait a sec there a only 8 of those creatures now, I was positive there was 9 of them. * Counts them all up* Yup only 8...so which one is missing ummm oh I know it's that Ninja Frog dude.

While Sonic was trying too figure out which Pokemon was missing, he failed too notice Greninja was right behind him, not being able too hear swift and silent movements of Greninja.

Trainer and everyone definitely were shocked to hear " WOW" ring out and too look towards the direction of the shout, only too see Greninja holding Sonic up by the by his leg.

For a while Sonic and Trainer and Co. just starred at one another in awkwardness before Sonic broke the Silence.

Sonic: Hey just wanted too step in and say hello and welcome to Green Hills * Upside down thumbs up*

Tom and Maddie are definitely going too be surprised at Sonic's new friends

Considering this is before Sonic 2, looks like the Blue Blur got his first batch of friends. Also Greninja catching him while he's brainstorming an introduction is so on point lol. Movie Sonic tends to be such a goofy bean at times that things have a chance to slip by him. Or in this case the Ninja Frog Pokemon.

I can just see Tom and Maddie's when Sonic introduces Trainer to them. Nothing like children from different universes to reaffirm how weird your life has become.

Currently lost in chargestone cavern~~~~ how do you find the way out? Are there multiple exits?

Makes me want to reclaim the first shiny I ever found~~~ was a full odds Joltik in black and white~~~ found it on the last day of high school what feels like forever ago, cause some of the teachers let us play games.

And the way Joltik jump around are so cute~~

I mean about the getting lost you can just skarmory taxi out but that’s not fun imo. Wish there was a map instead if it just being ‘under the terrarium’ or maybe the magnetism in the cave doesn’t allow the map to work as an in universe example? Much like how it didn’t in Area Zero.

soft reset shiny snivy and tepig in black and white (still need to go for oshawatt (idk how to spell it)

soft reset shiny piplup in platinum (i was over odds on that hunt)

also a bunch in legends arceus that I forgot... having that audio tell when a shiny spawned was nice~~~

thinking about it maybe I should start actually keeping track of how long it takes to get a shiny?? I wasn't in the lets go games or anywhere else cause I did with the piplup hunt and it seemed more of a hassle than it was worth to me. But also I don't want anyone of accusing me of being a cheater cause I'm not... Getting stuff legit is way more fun than cheating shinies in... The actual hunt part gives them value and not the shiny itself~~~ imo anyway.

but every other shiny hunter I've watched on youtube keeps track of their odds and I don't....

now I'm pretty sure all of the tags for all the games I've found shiny pokemon in won't fit, lol.

🎵Big art dump while I work on goosebumps headcanons for a post 🎵

First is Toph and Ralsei because I like them as a friendship 🤍

Second is a crying Oshawatt because this morning I came across some double standarding with mental illness stuff and ableism which made me upset so Oshawatt was my healthy coping

Third is Eddie Munson my beloved, he's talking about his totally not crush on Steve 'the king' Harrington because in my headcanon he's def 💖💛💙 for Steve

Forth is Spy because I realized that he's actually a lot of fun to draw. Maybe it's from my recent spree of drawing pointy nose guys? Gotta draw Felix and the cycle of pointy nosed men will be complete

Fifth was supposed to be a humanization of Stinkie McFadden, but I remembered in this wonderful casper fanfic I adore with all of my heart and soul there was flashback with shirtless Stinkie and I remember a user on tumblr (Don't remember the username atm) had proposed the hc idea of Stinkie with long pretty hair and I was like "yes yes. Time to draw both ✏" I will not apologize for my hyperfixation on the ghostly trio, but at the same time sorry lol

Sixth is an Anayeon in my Josef and Sauer series. They're a species that's feared within the series, finding a target that did something so awful it stalks and possess' the target, usually leading to death because humans cannot handle possession, and majority of spirits cannot handle possessing humans due to the damage it does, but Anayeons are more able to do it since that was their purpose.

Next is a quick doodle of Cain Sephtis because I love the lad, flaws and all! I know he's my oc, but still-

So I raise water types (I have a pool for the ones that have to stay in water, dont worry) but the Oshawatt my neighbor gave me doesn't seem to like getting wet all that much. I make sure she's hydrated with lots of water but when it comes time for bath and such she doesnt want to participate. Do you think this might be a sign of something? Or maybe just social anxiety? And what should I do? Other than the water avoidance, she seems healthy enough.

I've heard of this happening before, actually, though usually with Pokemon like Spheal. Would I be correct in assuming your Oshawott is very, very young? Young amphibious water-type Pokemon like that can be nervous about the water, especially if their mother isn't with them to teach them.

It won't be fun- And again, DEFINITELY see a vet in-person before you take my advice, I can only do so much without seeing and checking the Pokemon myself- but my best advice would be to simply make the Oshawott get used to it in small doses. Hold it above the pool, with its arms and legs dipping in the water to splash a bit, and slowly lower it more and more.

If your neighbor has any other Oshawotts, it might help for an older one to teach it to swim properly. Oshawotts are social Pokemon, after all, they usually learn to swim from their parents.

Favorite Starters, by Generation:

Gen 1: Squirtle

From just a little guy to walking ballista, Squirtle has my favorite evolutionary track. Also the teal is nice.

Gen 2: Cyndaquil

Partially due to him being the only one I can name off the top of my head, but the fire spikeys are cool and the nose is adorable.

Gen 3: Torchick

Off to a weaker start than the ADORABLE Mudkip, but they absolutely save it with a truly badass final form.

Gen 4: Piplup

Maybe I have a bias towards birds? But this is just a solid series of 'mons from start to finish.

Gen 5: Oshawatt

Or maybe my bias is water types. Look, I just really like otters, okay??? And these otters kick ass! Special props go to the fierce and dependable Samurott.

Gen 6: Chespin

First Grass-type on the list, but this little guy EARNED it! That second form is absolutely ridiculous, but the first is SUPER cute and the last is extremely badass.

Gen 7: Rowlett

Another Grass-type! And again, a VERY silly second form, but they have a fantastic start and they cinch it at the end with a super cool sniper owl.

Gen 8: Scorbunny

This isn't exactly my favorite generation. No standouts here. But despite Raboot's dip into weeb culture, Cinderace wins for having the best final evolution.

Which brings us to... Gen 9!

We don't know what they're gonna look like fully evolved, but just going by the starters, I'm gonna give it to Sprigatito, although depending on where they go with it, Fuecoco has a strong chance too.

Saltriv told him that heal seed paste helped with ailments just as well as a normal heal seed, so maybe this could help with the Zorua's throat? He mashed the seed with his scalchop in a small, wooden bowl from his bag, before handing the bowl with the paste in it to the Zorua. "H-here. Um, I th-think this'll h-help with the coughing."

The Zorua would cough again as he watched the Oshawatt take the seed out of the bag and mash it up. The Zorua never had any of the seeds he had seen in the wild, only ever berries. Would it help him with his cough? He may as well try it, as he would take the bowl and eat the contents of it. Sure enough his coughing fit would stop after consuming it. Giving a nod of thanks to the Oshawatt.

It’s probably set in Kalos but maybe that’s all where they came from and they moved to Galar..? Kalos is based on like- France right? I like Galar though.. the camping elements could be cute.. you guys decide I guess

Marinette: Ledyba(basically tiki), Leavanny, Orbeetle, (then I can imagine she’s the kind of person to just pick up random Pokémon she saved) Dratini, Chinchou—She originally wanted to stay home but showed how talent with being a trainer and also being a Pokémon Performer! She makes all of them costumes and has her own little following of fans. It’s very humbling.

Adrien: Litten, Absol, Goomy(Nino gave it to him. Gabriel hates it but Adrien absolutely ADORES it), Duskskull—Traveling with Nino and Marinette after running away from home to become a trainer (Nathalie helped), falls in love with Marinette after getting his ass handed to her

Alya: Braixen, Vulpix, Espeon, Pikachu, Rotom(in her phone)—Is working on a blog to share Pokémon to the world, but ran into the whatever Villain Team and gets saved by the Best Friend squad, making her join, surprisingly clever

Nino: Frogadier, Wartortle, Roggenrolla, Spheal—Mom friend of the fucking team and he’s tired but he loves these guys. All of his Pokémon know how to dance or groove/vibe in some way. Even the Spheal. That boy flops like a mad lad. He loves them all and he calls them his dudes.

Chloe: Vespiqueen, Ribombee, Ampharos, traveling with an egg—Also a Pokémon performer, a little over the top, but it’s cause of Audrey’s crushing demands and expectations, Marinette helps teach her that it’s okay to like things her mother doesn’t like. She joins the Miracuteam when Sabrina goes off on her own.

Sabrina: Arcanine, Furfrou, Luxray—Used to travel with Chloe as a duo but decides that she wants to go off on her own for a while, becomes Chloe’s friendly rival.

Alix: Rabbot, Yamask, Sigilpyh, (and her fossils) Carnidos, Archen, Tyrunt—Her father works and studies fossils. She thinks it’s cool and all but wanted to put them to good use. Became a trainer to show fossil Pokémon their coolness, and also show her own strength, as she was just seen as the “Curator’s little girl”. She’s traveling with Kim because he had no idea who she was and she liked that. Unfortunately that changed when Max joined but it’s fine. She’s secretly rich thanks to this and it’s funny when she takes people home and they flip out.

Kim: Grooky(He’s a proud monkey dad), Tentacruel, Luvdisk, Deino(given by Alix)—On a journey to get stronger and impress his family and his peers. He had no idea who Alix was when he met her but when he learned who she was from Max he absolutely flipped- and then went back to normal, much to Max’s surprise and Alix’s relief.

Max: Rotom(yes it’s named Markov)—He’s less of a trainer and more of a researcher, he’s joined Alix and Kim when they saved him. He recognized Alix to be the Curator’s Daughter and she freaks out. He’s baffled by her and can’t see her as someone other than the genius’s kid for a while until they become better friends

Ivan: Rolycoly, Golem, Rockruff, Cubone, Steelix—Traveling with Mylene, likes picking up small Pokémon to raise cause he’s a softy 

Myelne: Audino, Cleffa, Togepi, Alolan Grimer—Traveling with Ivan to face her fears, working to become an actress

Juleka: Mismagius, Hattrene, Frillish, Ghastly, Sylveon(unexpected thanks to her goth aesthetic but it loves her so it’s fine)—Working to become a Ghost Gym leader and Rose is tagging along. Intimidating until not, basically Marnie.

Rose: Snom, Tepig, Snubbul, Munna, Mimikyu(She found it and showers it with affection)—She met Juleka one day and swore to herself she was going to marry that tall goth and climb her like a tree. Likes to collect “ugly” Pokémon because she likes them and thinks they’re cute.

Nathaniel: Eevee(Marc gave him this one, it’s a brat but they love their child), Smeargle, Pichu—On a journey to get out of the house and collect artist inspiration, might join Alix, Kim, and Max but they’re just friends for now. 

Lila: Zorua, Thievul, Umbreon—In it for the fame, performer who’s a rival to Marinette, though its more respectful now. She’s still jealous of Marinette but she isn’t gonna go out of her way to sabotage.

Marc: ALL OF THE EEVEELUTIONS—Don’t ask where they got so many eevees. They just do. 

Aurore: Gardevoir, Castform, Psyduck, Seviper(you bet your ass Mirielle has a Zangoose)—Performer who’s rivaled with Mirelle. 

Luka: Gyarados, Milotic, Slowbro, Goodra(given by Kagami), Greninja, Drednaw—The water type gym leader. He’s gotta support his FAM. Very chill and proud of his sister. Accidental rivals with Kagami but ends up traveling with her for a bit.

Kagami: Garchomp, Fraxure, Kingdra(given by Luka), Noivern, Salamance, Dragonite—The Dragon Type gym leader. Her mom forced her into it, and while she’s good at it, she has no true passion for it. She hates how chill and unserious Luka can be with his duties but it comes from her being jealous of his freedom. Eventually goes on a journey to find her true passion, and Luka joins her.

(Extra Extras) Gabriel: Volcarona, Venomoth, Dustox, Cofagrius (GET IT- CAUSE HIS WIFE IS IN A FUCKING COFFIN HAH-)—Probably the leader of the villain gang. Lusamine style.

Nathalie: Altaria, Decidueye—Vice leader of the villain gang but she gives a shit about Adrien so she helps him escape. She also probably backstabs Gabriel at some point.

Felix: Purrloin, Meowth—Bitch
