The only reason my sharpedo hasn't killed me is because I'm already dead.
Do you think people would go out on the internet and lie..?
Anyways, make sure to do proper care and keep enough space for the sharpedo to breath via ram ventilation. If not, I advise you to call the rangers for the sharpedo to be reintroduced to the wild if possible.

My sharpedo keeps trying to eat me
Thats not good! Sharpedo do not do well under trainer care unless in battling teams or fully in the wild. Perhaps it trying to eat you is it seeking for enrichment. They often eat spheals and seels in the wild, if not other fish pokemon, so I think you could get in some good enrichment with some ball-shaped chew toys :))
Always remember! Shark pokemon are often demonized by the media. They're just curious guys who might mistake panicking swimmers as yummy spheals. You are more likely to get killed by a vending machine than a shark pokemon attack.

frillish…why?????
why????????
whyyy does itttt-???????
Well, it's a deep-ish sea pokemon! They often look a little unsettling.
They use the stingers on their arms to take out their prey with large amounts of toxins that are very painful! Did you know they are carnivores? They could theoretically kill, eat and digest you!
Once they've caught and killed their prey, they will drag it down to the deepest they can go and eat it safely. The prey will never be seen again.
I hope this helps you sleep at night.

For the spooky season, we’d love to answer any questions about ‘scary’ water types that you might have! Asks are on :)

This is my header image, but I wanted to post it :) It’s Amare and Vyn playing together! Moss is also watching on, spitefully, in the background. He hates gay people (me). The regional differences are actually much more visible on vyn- You can clearly notice his ‘lack’ of ribbons! They’re still there, but rather rolled up and tucked into his bow to keep them nice and warm in the harsh weather.
Yes, Vyn and Moss are shinies. They are both rehabilitation cases that have led to them being unfit for the wild.

I know you focus mostly on aquatic pokemon, but do you have a favorite non aquatic pokemon?
Popplio, which is semi-aquatic, but non aquatic would have to be chingling! Love the little guys. Did you know they store their organs inside their 'ribbons'? Its very similar to araquanid storing their organs in the first segment of their legs!

Has anyone ever fallen into the sharpedo tank and been eaten?
As per my previous posts, we do not keep sharpedo. They are ram breathers and we could not feasibly keep them in the right conditions. Adding onto that- None of our tanks are easily accessible to fall into. Only qualified staff can get into our tank areas.
Not to mention- A lot of shark pokemon do not eat people! Being attacked unprovoked by a shark pokemon is about 1 in 11.5 million. They're curious, yes, but the do not have intentions of eating people with no reason.

When people make wishiwashi school in battles, how do they get all the extra wishiwashi? My older sister says the trainer has to go get their washi to bond with others around the battlefield or has a schooling stock in many balls, but I feel like shes lying
Wishiwashi are schooling fish in the wild, but usually during battles their schooling form is an illusion! It's very difficult to get as many wishiwashi as you need for a full school all in one place in their own balls.

do you have other locations? or are you associated with any other aquariums?
We aren't a 'chain' of aquariums, if that's what you're asking. We have other aquariums in Sinnoh and other regions that we often trade pokémon and resources between, though! My personal favourite is the one in Castelia :)

Best water starter in your opinion?
I may be biased but it's popplio!
I have my own popplio named Beensie who you may have seen if you've seen any of our spheal training programs! He's quite the helpful little partner :)
Most water starters are well tempered and are great first pokémon, though!
