In order for the Nein to successfully pull of a heist, Fjord sets about seducing the lord he and his friends are robbing. He’s exactly Fjord’s type, though there’s one complication; he’s a dragon. And it takes Fjord a little while to catch on. A heist gone wrong leaves Fjord seducing the Nein's mark - and that mark is a dragon.

Reccer 1 Says: Excellent Fjord characterization, a delight of an OC, chaotic Nein shenanigans, and extremely hot dragon sex make this fic (and the entire series) an extremely fun read. Highly recommend reading all of it, the way the relationship between Fjord and Gairdneri develops is especially wonderful, imo. Reccer 2 Says: This fic is SO fun! Demenior does a fantastic job capturing the voices of all of the characters, and the sex is hot too.

Drunken Love Confessions

Notes: Technically I’m only doing four characters at a time, but you just had to use my weakness against me (I love Dariax v much). I’m glad to write this for you for all of these babes <3

Ashton

Oh he is just watching you stumble over your words and ramble about being in love with him. Except you think you’re talking to someone else about how amazing Ashton is.

It is a tad embarrassing to know that you feel so strongly about him. Might have to process your words a bit, but for now he’ll gladly ask you to go on with how much you love Ashton. What is it about the genasi that gets your heart pumping?

Absolutely mentions you being drunk off your ass the next morning. Wouldn’t bring up the confession since he doesn’t want to embarrass you when you’re hungover and probably wanting to die from that alone.

Would tell you that he likes you too. Might need time to fully process what exactly happened and make sure you were genuine, cause it was drunk talking and he doesn’t want to be your mistake.

Dorian

He’s nervously laughing as he’s scanning the bar, trying to find someone to help. He needs an adult.

Don’t get him wrong, he is very happy that you love him so much. But you’re so very drunk and don’t know what you’re saying and he’d prefer someone to come help you so if you do remember this, you don’t regret all of this entirely.

The next morning will be him constantly trying to make eye contact and seeing if you’re okay. And also trying to see if you mention remembering confessing to him because he really hopes you do so he can confess while sober.

Also wants to make sure he can talk to you before any possible miscommunications can happen because you were very drunk. If you do forget what you said then Dorian is going to just stew in that confession and be an unhappy genasi because what the fuck is he supposed to do with this information?! He’s awkward!

Mollymauk

Much like Ashton (it’s almost like Taliesin has a type with his characters), he’s teasingly asking you to go on about how much you love this purple tiefling of yours.

Does try switching your alcohol for water several times as he wants you to remember this so you two can actually talk about it the next day. Like hell he’s letting you run and hide from your confession.

Sure, it might just be drunken words that mean nothing, but he still wants to talk to you about it. If it is nothing then he’ll tease you endlessly. But he hopes it means something because he likes you too.

The next morning is him teasing you still but also taking care of you while you’re hungover, just being gentle because he loves you too.

Orym

Orym is very concerned and doesn’t quite know what to think with the drunken confessing. He really thinks you need to drink more water and that you’ll regret all of this tomorrow.

Which he is prepared to tell you it’s okay. That he’s fine being your friend still. Even if the thought hurts his heart, he doesn’t want to lose you due to drunken confessing.

Although with how drunk you are, he might decide to be a tad selfish. He already felt some guilt feeling this way for you when he still loves Wil. But he might let it slip that he loves you too. You’re drunk and there’s a good chance you’ll forget it in the morning.

The next morning is him checking on you and doing his best to get you some healing and water. He might bring up what happened, mostly being vague since he doesn’t want to embarrass you. Should you remember what happened then he’s ready to deal with the consequences of his actions (thankfully it’s good consequences).

Bonus! Dariax

God he’s also very drunk and you two are just being so overly cute with your “I love you” “Well I love you more!”

Dorian wants to put his head through a wall but decided to be the designated sober friend so you two don’t do anything stupid.

The next morning will absolutely be the genasi tuning his lute for hours to antagonize you both with the noise.

Rather you two remember what happened the night before, he doesn’t care (well he kind of does because he wants you two to be happy with each other and not awkward and silent treatment-y).

Orym

He’s half excited, half nervous to be sharing a bed with you. It makes his heart race to be so close to you, but the halfling feels conflicted on whether he should truly confess or not. His thoughts keep him up at night, but in the middle of your sleep, Orym feels you unconsciously drape an arm over him. It’s the safest he’s felt in a while as his eyes close.

Dariax

He’s always imagined how it might go, and now that he’s faced with it, it’s a bit of a big deal. Dariax feels so intimate in this moment, curled up next to you, but he feels a bit at ease when you smile at him. Awkward smiled turn up giggles to jokes and before you know it, both of you drift off to sleep snuggling each other.

Dorian

It’s everything that comes out of songs and books he’s idealized. He hopes you can’t see the raspberry blush on his face but he’s not subtle. Eyes darting back and forth, Dorian freezes when you reach out to touch him. Soon, hand holding becomes spooning before he has you tucked into his side.

Ashton

No he’s not going to take up your space on the bed, despite your insistence. Only after an uncomfortable bout on the wood floor does Ashton comply and crawl into the bed. You’ve started to doze off but feel a dip when he lies down next to you. It’s brief touches, but he admires you in your sleep. Gentle snores and hands brushing away the strands of your hair as he moves closer to you.

The world stops. Oh gods, does it seem like all of existence stops. Cerulean skin turns to navy as eyes meet that of his companion. They had been having friendly conversation. Just like any other night. All the bullshit of the day was done and over with. But here was t h i s. What had started as a fun, relaxed night full of liquor and laughter, had turned into that of deep conversation and thoughts spoken aloud thanks to truth serum sold for coppers on the coin.

The air is stolen from his lungs. And that was a difficult task, seeing as though, well. You know. His mouth opens to speak, but oh gods was it hard to put his thoughts to words and let them spill from his tongue. Doomsday could implode all around them and his attention would still be f i x a t e d on the dwarf next to him.

"Dariax..." The way his voice breaks. His chest so tight that the ache is palpable. Balled fists turn to flexed hands as he gently reaches across the space between them and pushes back some of his mussed trusses. "I won't be leaving again...as much as I miss Orym and Fearne...my place is here with the Crown Keepers...with uh...with y o u..."

Orym is the responsible one. That's his niche in this group. Even the responsible one has to let loose a little once in a while, though. And it helps that Dariax has a pretty great ass.

Seriously, you're touch starved? Guess that means he's gotta feed you with hugs and hand holding and lots of kisses.

Might go overboard at times so if you do start feeling overwhelmed then please let him know. He tries to check up on you when he is giving you love, but still let him know if he is being a bit much.

Ashton

Okay so you being touch starved is interesting. They're also a bit touch starved, but due to their chronic pain there's not much they can do about it.

Not the most affectionate guy either. He'll try hand holding. Hopefully that isn't too bad and you both get some loving with that (he does shoot glares at anyone that stares too long at you both).

Tries to make up for it by getting you things. Just something he sees in a store window or something. Nothing too expensive because his wallet isn't the fattest, but he still tries to get you trinkets.

Dorian

Also one that'll gladly offer a hand or press kisses to your temple. There is some shyness if you guys are among strangers, but he'll still be close by.

Dorian really needs hugs. If you guys have an inn room together then please hug him, if you're separated then you won't be for long.

Likes to strum on his guitar for you too. He'll say it's practice, but he hopes it can bring you some peace and calm as you're leaning against him. It was awkward finding a good angle to cuddle and play, but you two eventually got there.

Orym

Lots of druidcraft for little things to give you. He might not be able to give you physical affection all the time so he hopes making you little flower crowns and bracelets helps in the meantime.

He's a little guy, but if you're okay with sitting down then he's okay hugging you. Prefers to be the little spoon, but he'll do his best to take more charge with hugs and kissing since you're not used to it.

Orym keeps a close eye on you to make sure you're never overwhelmed. He's happy to give you affection when he can, but he doesn't want you ever feeling pressured or struggling with it all.

As Percy traversed through the halls of Whitestone, he saw you reading by one of the fireplaces. Content and lovely as ever, he wanted nothing more than to just be near you knowing you would soothe the stress that overwhelmed him. It had the making of a perfect evening, Percy wondered to himself. He followed that soft smile and light trill laugh of yours before slinging his arm around you. You felt the tugging on your side before he kissed your cheek, and laying by your side on the loveseat. “Good evening to you, Mr. de Rolo.” “And how are you, my dearest love?” You tossed your book to the side before huddling closer to the white-haired man. “It’s better now, with you here.”

Vax’ildan

His sister would call him sappy, but Vax just needed you right now. He was still new to this arrangement with the Raven Queen, but the lack of you from today left him restless. Something about shopping around the markets that ran through his mind, and seeing you admire the trinkets and whatnot. He just wanted to—. Once you all had returned home, he led you to the nearest corner of the hearth. It was only a few words, but Vax held onto you tightly, burying his face into the crook of your neck. Vax didn’t care if anyone else saw for a brief second. He just wanted to hold you.

Ashton

He never got scared easily, but the incident after Otohan left him shaken to his core. The look on your face when Laudna fell was enough to break his heart. In the journey to Whitestone, he kept watch alongside you. He didn’t know what compelled him, but Ashton gravitated towards you. Holding your hand, a reassuring pat on your shoulder. You brought him comfort without even realizing it, and he wanted to be your strength as well. You leaned on him, relied on him and in return the Genasi dropped dropped everything to be by your side.

Caleb

Teaching students was a daunting task, but having you beside him to help shoulder the duties was a relief. In the quieter moments, he admired how you took care of him. A blanket, handling the papers, a cup of tea here and there. But now Caleb wanted to take care of you. To sit with you by the fire, and hold your hand. Cuddling close to you at the end of lessons.

Dorian

You had left with him the first time from home, and now you were both going back. The journey was long, leaving little to do except for a few soft glances to each other here and there. In the moments he felt his feelings for the others, Dorian clinger to you as his security. On some days, it was better. But on others like today, it was bad for him.

Orym

It had been a few days since Laudna had come back to them. The memories of Otohan and the resurrection were still fresh in the halfling’s mind. Yes, you stood by everyone’s side to be the “strong one” but you wanted to just drop everything. The front and all, and just have Orym be there for you. It was the same for him too. You held onto each other tightly in the next few days. Just to be a reassuring presence.

Dariax

A day at the spa what exactly what they needed. Forgetting the every day stress and tasks you had. After the best treatments and pampering, you felt Dariax’s eyes on you. Watching the curves of your lips in a smile, laugh lines, and crinkles in your nose and corners of your eyes. He smiled before placing a sweet kiss on your cheek and snuggling into your shoulder.
