So I’m slowly getting on board with Dorym because it seems like something Liam is really keen for, even though I didn’t really see it at the start of the campaign. And who doesn’t want to see Liam playing gay angst??

But even those few hours of the Crownkeepers has just reminded me how much I shipped Doriax…

So anyway NOW I can’t get the idea of a Doriax fic(let) of the immediate aftermath of the CK fight, that first night in the wilderness of Dorian and Dariax alone, Opal’s suggestion finally wearing off.

TLDR - Dariax is desperately trying to find a way to comfort his friend from this great loss, and also process his own feelings about losing Opal, and they end up hooking up.

They don’t talk about it the next day; nothing needs to be said, just two friends just trying to fumble through their grief and support each other. It’s not a big deal.

And then they go to a bar, and Dorian leaves Dariax behind.

So we have Dorian returning to Bells Hells, processing his rage, his grief, his loss - and also experiencing a small gay panic crisis and trying to reckon with the fact he just abandoned Dariax - for his own good, to keep him safe - immediately after they’d just done… that.

And he finds himself, finally, back with Orym. Who is going through his own grief and rage and processing it very differently.

I just think it would be interesting (heartbreaking), yknow?
