@fjorests-of-wildemount hi Milo I’m crying 🥺😭
Something something the way Orym keeps talking around his feelings for Dorian by saying he misses him rather than he loves him "I really miss Dorian and sometimes I think that's okay and sometimes I think it isn't" and "If I don't get the chance again... I've really missed you" and the way that the absence of a person he loves is such an intrinsic part of the way Orym has lived his life for the past 6 or 7 years, saying he misses Dorian feels so close to a declaration of love because he misses Will so fucking bad all the time and he loved Will so deeply that missing someone and loving someone blurs together into the same feeling

Another order coming up; can i uuuuuh get a #12 with either or both Orym/Will and dorym?
12. Mapping out your lover's features while they sleep in your arm, smoothing your thumbs down their cheeks, throat, collarbones, chin and nose. *muffled over microphone* yeah #12 with orym and will, please drive up to the next window
Orym may be physically small, but Will has always admired the way he takes up space. He never does so with arrogance or entitlement, but rather a calm confidence, one that says, I'm here, and you will see me. It's what makes him such an excellent Blade; in addition to his acrobatic skill with a shortsword, he possesses an aura of strength, of implacability in the face of danger. It is, frankly, what Will finds sexiest about him.
All of this falls away, however, when Orym is asleep. Instead of his wide stance, his straight back, Orym's body curls into a tight ball, pressed close to Will's side in their bed. Will thrills in it, keeping one arm draped around the curve of his spine, feeling the gentle rise and fall of his chest right against the side of his ribs. So many people assume he finds Orym cute, which they would only say if they hadn't seen the definition of his arms, the rock-hard planes of his torso, but here, like this, in the softness and stillness of night, alright, maybe he does, just a little.
Will always finds it hard to sleep the night before an assignment—tomorrow he is to accompany the Tempest to a meeting in Vasselheim, something about the distress beacons, maybe, he's never been one for politics—so he lays awake, his fingers stretching across his own body to gently trace the delicate features of Orym's face. And they are delicate, though so little about Orym is; the point of his nose, the slope of his cheekbones, the gentle curl of his smile, even in his sleep. (What is he dreaming about, that he would smile like this?) His fingertips dance along the shell of his ear, which twitches when he gets to a tip; so sensitive, these ears, especially when Will takes them into his mouth.
Not wanting to wake him, he brings his hand down to the column of Orym's neck, running his thumb along his strong jawline. He is sexy, his halfling husband, almost unbearably so, and though the two of them are often looked at askance—Will is tall by half-elf standards, a fact only magnified when he is in proximity to Orym—Will cannot imagine having eyes and not seeing the stretch and pull of those ropey muscles, the devilish glint in his eye whenever he's about to play a prank on a fellow Blade or one of Will's sisters. Will worries sometimes that he doesn't know, that he thinks that Will, so tall and broad, like his father, is the one who settled—foolish. Will remembers so clearly when they were young, when puberty absolutely ravaged him and saw Orym becoming something else, something Will stayed up late at night having sinful thoughts about. Orym has always been the only object of Will's desire, and on nights like tonight, when Orym is curled tight against him to ward off the late autumn chill, he cannot believe that he picked Will.
His thumb catches on the shadow of scar, just below Orym's ear, on the edge of his jaw. A training accident from years ago, early in their careers with the Blades, nothing dramatic or worrisome, but Will still remembers the stutter in his heart, the way he ran to Orym's side in the middle of sword practice as if he'd just been run through the heart. Orym had laughed him off, told him he was being silly, and he was, but what Orym didn't see was the earth-shattering realization Will was having at that moment: that he was deeply, stupidly, unendingly in love with Orym, and had been for longer than he could remember.
And here they are, in their home, in their bed, and Will is the luckiest man on Tal'dorei. The trip to Vasselheim is expected to last about three days, and he can't think of anything more excruciating than three days away from the man he loves. He slips down a bit lower onto his pillow, so their faces are closer, and presses a kiss to Orym's forehead. There is so much he wants to protect, so much he would die fighting for, but this man, with his beautiful ears and his eagle eyes and his laugh to stop the world, this is the thing will not live without.

there’s something so special about the only character in the main asoiaf series to take time to make a principled stand about the outcome of the dance of the dragons being Stannis Baratheon, who is the Rhaenyra of his own situation, but pulls really hard for Team Green because That’s The Rules.

“Tempest?”
“Hm?” Keyleth turns towards Orym with a gentle smile that fades when she sees Orym’s somber expression.
“I fell.” Orym swallows, hard. “In the same battle as Laudna. Fearne brought me back, but…” Orym can hardly speak past the lump in his throat. “I saw him. When I was down.”
Confusion, grief, and understanding flash across Keyleth’s face in an instant.
“Will.” Orym clarifies, and the pain on the Tempest’s face deepens.
“I know.” She says, and attempts a smile that doesn’t quite reach her eyes.

One the one hand, it's good to see the diamonds and spinal doing a lot better. On the other hand, Cinderella. On my third hand that protrudes from my left temple, what the fuck.

[id: screenshot of a google doc reading:
A raven cawing and
Mothers and their sons and
Bereaved wife and mother and
Fathers who are disappointments
And
We didn’t get enough time and
A sending stone and
Cherry blossoms and
Fragile golden threads weaving it all together

#on reread the show really plays davos as a straight ‘moral voice’ when he is so delusional about stannis (and his own) role #in the unending wars of westeros while still being in many cases the only moral voice. he’s like that alicent post #'surrounds himself with crazy people and then acts surprised when they do crazy shit’ ya kno. #but also no i specifically want to point out that stannis names shireen his heir. Literally holed up in dragonstone making his daughter heir #taking advice from a hyper violent fire person (caraxes the blood worym being red and meli with her blood sacrificing to fire) #waging war against the crown because he IS LEGALLY the true king but is that worth the cost to the kingdom a war will take #and he has the audacity to say rhaenyra is an usurper. i love him.
