Have you ever seen a wild coconut on a tall tree? Imagine the benefits it has accumulated by being so close to the sun around fresh oxygen and free from any turmoil. We bring you the oil of coconuts, fresh from the source, and naturally extracted through the cold-pressed method.
Cold-pressed coconut oil is a lustrous and versatile natural product that has been treasured for centuries for its many benefits. The velvety oil is extracted from the heart of naturally nourished coconuts and has a wide range of health benefits due to its high saturated fat content. With its many uses, this oil is rich in medium-chain triglycerides, making it a healthy and nourishing addition to any culinary, skincare, or hair care regimen. It's no wonder why cold-pressed coconut oil for cooking has become a popular ingredient in many households. Organic coconut oil for oil pulling is a famous method, which shows great improvement in oral and gut health!
In the kitchen cold-pressed coconut oil for cooking is a gourmet delight. Its high smoke point of 350 degrees Fahrenheit makes it suitable for a wide range of cooking methods, including sautéing, frying, and baking. Virgin Coconut oil for skin is nothing short of a miracle worker. Its easily absorbed properties leave the skin feeling soft, hydrated, and smooth. The cold-pressed method helps to retain all the essential nutrients, vitamins, and minerals that are present in the coconut, providing maximum health benefits. The oil is unrefined, meaning it hasn't been subjected to any chemical processes or heat treatments, preserving its natural goodness.
Coconut Oil for Cooking
Cold-pressed coconut oil is a great alternative to traditional cooking oils as it has a high smoke point of 350 degrees Fahrenheit, making it suitable for high-heat cooking methods such as sautéing, baking, and frying. It also adds a subtle coconut flavor to dishes, making it a great ingredient for baking and cooking Asian cuisine. Additionally, virgin coconut oil is a healthy fat that is rich in medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs) which can improve cholesterol levels, boost energy, and promote weight loss.
Skincare with Coconut Oil
Organic Coconut oil for the skin is also an excellent ingredient for skincare as it is easily absorbed by the skin, leaving it feeling soft, hydrated, and smooth. Its antibacterial and antifungal properties make it a great moisturizer for dry, itchy skin, eczema, and psoriasis. Additionally, it's also a great makeup remover, sunscreen, and lip balm. Applying cold-pressed coconut oil to your skin before bed can help to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and age spots, leaving you with a youthful, glowing complexion. Organic cold-pressed coconut oil for skin has great benefits!
Hair Care with Coconut Oil
Coconut oil for hair can be a wonderful conditioner. It can help to strengthen hair, prevent breakage, and promote hair growth. Applying a small amount of cold-pressed coconut oil to your hair before washing can help to protect it from damage caused by heat styling and chemical treatments. It also helps to prevent dandruff and lice. Virgin coconut oil for hair is also a great natural hair-styling product. It can help to tame frizz, add shine, and control flyaways. For hair care, coconut oil is essential. It helps strengthen hair, prevent breakage, and promote growth, while also preventing dandruff and lice. As a natural hair styling product, it tames frizz, adds shine, and controls flyaways, leaving hair looking and feeling healthy and lustrous. Coconut oil for hair is the way to go!
The Cold-Pressed Method
Cold-pressed coconut oil is extracted by pressing the coconut meat at low temperatures, usually below 120°F, to preserve its natural nutrients and flavor. The process starts with shredding the fresh coconut meat and then extracting the oil by pressing it with force. The resulting oil is then filtered to remove any remaining solids and impurities. This method of extraction ensures that the oil retains all of its beneficial properties, including its high levels of lauric acid, antioxidants, and medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs), which make it a popular ingredient in skincare products, hair care products, and cooking.
The Fruit of Origin
Coconuts are a delicately exquisite fruit that offers a plethora of benefits for the body and mind. The pulp of the coconut, rich in medium-chain triglycerides, provides a healthy and nourishing oil that can be used for cooking, skincare, and hair care. The water of the coconut, which is a natural electrolyte, is a refreshing and hydrating beverage that can help replenish fluids and minerals in the body. The milk of the coconut, which is rich in vitamins and minerals, is a versatile ingredient that can be used in cooking, baking, and as a non-dairy milk alternative. The shell of the coconut, which is hard and durable, is used to make bowls, utensils, and other decorative items that are not only beautiful but also eco-friendly. The overall benefits of coconuts are truly unparalleled and a symbol of luxury and refinement.

HONEYS IT GIRL MAGAZINE may edition⋆.ೃ࿔*:・🎀
welcome back to honeys it girl magazine, this is the may catalog. get ready for the inside scoop on data that i've collected, things i've learned/started doing, and just general info like that organized in kind of a teen-magazine inspired fashion. a magazine for it girls ✨ and now please enjoy, the it girl magazine.
FOR THE WELLNESS GIRLIES ;
this month i discovered ballerina tea! and if u dont know what ballerina tea is, im going to put you on bcuz thats the whole point of the it girls magazine. the key ingredients in ballerina tea is senna and chinese mallow.
so essentially ballerina tea contains herbs that some cultures have traditionally used for a long time. its marketed as a weight loss tea but thats not all true. ballerina tea has a laxative effect and is really good for DETOXIFICATION and translate into lost weight in the form of water and stools.
while we are on the topic of consumption this is your reminder to eat ur fresh fruits and veggies! lets talk about ways to incorporate more fresh foods into our everyday diet.
if u like to snack, make fruits and vegetables more accessible for you. by prepping snacks before the cravings start, your snacking smarter.
start making smoothies or açai bowls as a rly yummy and easy way of getting fresh fruits daily.
make tasty veggie platters with home made sauces as a way to get in vegetables, or find a way to incorporate veggies into ur favorite recipes.
something that i did recently that has improved the quality of my diet is simply making some foods from scratch. for example i had a huge craving for fries, so i made home made fries and i can guarantee its 10X better then the processed fries that i would've gotten.
THE SCRAMBLE FOR SUMMER PLANS ;
school is FINALLY done. we are free to enjoy our hot girl summers! but now that school is done i find myself faced with the "now what?" question. no but seriously now what? no one wants to have a wasted summer, and ik u dont either so make sure to live up ur summer!
i did not take my own advice and i did not make preparations in advance for my summer so as of writing this post i have no plans, so im scrambling to make plans with my friends and set things up for myself. im planning out things like girls trips to the city, shopping trips, parties, dinners etc etc. and ofc manifesting for the vacation that i deserve.
HONEYS BEAUTY CORNER ;
SUPER EASY TANNING ROUTINE - tanning is one of the most important parts of summer! to start ur tanning routine, first things first set up a tanning playlist. my tanning playlist consists of songs like espresso by sabrina carpenter, nasty by tinashe, and turn it up by pink pantheress.
next apply some SPF to protect ur skin from the hot sun and apply some tanning oil if u have it. something else important to remember when tanning is to cooldown after tanning so keep some aloe vera gel on hand to avoid burning. we wanna TAN not burn.
tan the front then the back (each in 10 minute intervals) by the time ur done each side should tan for about 20 minutes each. so it'd be something like (front - 10 minutes, back - 10 minutes, front - 10 minutes, back - 10 minutes)
afterwards COOL DOWN with some swimming, some aloe vera, have a tasty mocktail/cocktail, apply some tanning oil and repeat the process one more time.
SMELLING LIKE THE BEACH - if u wanna smell like the beach, go to the beach. but if u wanna have the same effect i recommend the following products : the watermelon and coconut scented tree hut scrubs. the maui hair products. cabana girl body wash from philosophy. the bum bum body scrub. sol de janeiro rio radiance. ;
DIONNE FROM CLUELESS - STYLE DISSECTION ;
dionne is my absolute favorite character in the clueless movie and show for a MULTITUDE of different reasons. she is the embodiment of black femininity, girlyness, and she just exudes the lavish energy that we all know and love!
lets start off by talking about the way that dionne styles her hair. dionne's hair is so healthy, bouncy and absolutely GORGEOUS. she frequently styles her hair with things like headbands and clips. i've seen her in lots of different hairstyles and she always EATS.
dionne isnt particularly drawn to one specific color, the colors that she wears ranges depending on her outfit but everything is so well put together. one of dionne's most ICONIC looks is her unforgettable burgundy velvet dress with some white detaling.

my random kanej headcanons:
— kaz cooks for them because inej always ends up burning the food. he’s good at cooking though and enjoys it
— sometimes inej bakes cakes and they turn out alright
— he learns how to make her favorite suli dishes and she learns how to make kerch desserts
— they love to learn about the others cultures. sometimes inej wears her hair in a traditional kerch milkmaid braid ( crown braid) and kaz absolutely loves it
— when they have their daughters (because kaz is a girl dad obviously) they speak kerch and suli around the house. kaz reads them old kerch folktales and inej sings suli lullabies
— originally they wanted a lot of kids like maybe five but end up stopping at three because inej didn’t think she could handle another pregnancy
— kaz keeps their house clean, like obsessively clean and organized. inej is more relaxed about it and kaz always ends up cleaning up after her. like when she leaves several used mugs out on the counter instead of putting them in the sink or clothes and shoes scattered on the floor
- he nags her about being neater but secretly finds it lowkey adorable
— inej’s favorite sleeping position is sprawling out on his chest. she loves to listen to his heartbeat and tuck her head underneath his chin
— kaz’s favorite sleeping position is big spoon/little spoon. he usually prefers to be big spoon, especially when she puts coconut oil in her hair and he can fall asleep smelling it. the scent is so relaxing to him. he also just likes to wrap his arms around her and keep her close
— when they’re alone and get more comfortable around each other kaz is a huge dork. like a lovesick annoying boyfriend that does stupid shit to make inej laugh
— inej calls him kazzie when they’re alone
— one time she slips up and calls him kazzie in front of jesper
jesper: kazzie?
inej: …
kaz: it’s suli for lover
inej: *hits kaz’s arm* no it’s not

Pretty Kitty and care tips
I prefer shaving over waxing or hair removal creams (which I find do more harm than good). While waxing is effective, I feel like it's not always possible to get waxed, especially for spontaneous plans. This is where I come in to give my tips for meri priyein sakhis.
1. Trim First
Before shaving, trim the hairs if needed. The shorter the hair, the easier and closer the shave will be.
2. Exfoliate
Exfoliation is crucial. It removes dead cells that may clog your hair follicles, prepares the follicles for hair removal and may prevent ingrown hairs. Use a gentle exfoliator or mild scrub specifically for sensitive areas or tools like loofahs or exfoliating gloves. Continue exfoliating every few days after shaving.
3. Apply Shaving Cream/ Gel
Use a shaving cream or gel that's suitable for sensitive skin, ex- oils, non-scented baby soaps, sensitive skin shaving gels. It's best to do your own research. Remember whatever you choose to apply is strictly for outside and not to go on the inside portion of the vagina. Let it sit for a few minutes to soften the hairs.
4. Choose the Right Razor
A good razor is essential. Men's razor could be a good alternative since it's mostly for sensitive skin. Again, I think you should do your own research before buying. Also, keep your normal shaving razor and vag razor different.
5. Shaving Technique
Most important step in shaving is the direction in which you shave which is in the direction of hair growth (downwards), not against it. Another method is side to side but never upwards or against the grain because that causes irritation & hair bumps. So on, don't press too hard and avoid over-shaving the same area.
6. Aftercare
Rinse with cold water to soothe the skin. Apply products to prevent razor bumps, like coconut oil and use a natural moisturiser like aloe vera gel. Pat the skin dry and wear breathable clothes. Cotton underwear is best, or go commando to let your skin breathe.
mini care tips:
Use natural/organic pads, tampons and liners
Stop using products with fragrance on them on your body. They are extremely harmful and throws off your body's ph balance.
I know I said do your own research, but I still want to lay it out there that from my own experimentations and research, coconut oil is the best. No shaving creams or other products can compare. Though they ruin the razors really fast.
There's nothing wrong with your natural vagina smell but if you want it to taste sweet, try to incorporate more teas, water, lime water, cranberry juice and more natural food in general (fruits and vegetables) to keep your ph balanced.
I said this before but wear mainly cotton underwear and go commando as much as you would like to let your vagina breathe.
Men’s razors >>> women's razors. Cheaper, closer shave and cleaner.

Improvements I've recently made in my life:
Most food is organic/grassfed/pasture raised
Significantly reduced sugar intake
Natural soap for face and body (still haven't figured out anything good for my hair but will try Dr. Bronner's as soon as my shampoo runs out)
Having protein ice cream, cheese sticks, jerky, dates as snacks instead of stuff like snickers
No tap water, only mineral water mostly out of glass bottles
Using only cast iron pans
Steel and wood utensils + cutting board
Homemade cleaners, air fresheners and detergent
Taking vitamins every day
Going on a walk every other day
Lost a little bit of weight
Using coconut oil in my dental routine (can't make the switch to no fluoride though I literally get gum bleeding every time, but using toothpaste and mouthwash with the least amount of ingredients I could find)
Implemented routine and a schedule for entire household
Got an air purifier
Rosary every day

A Simple Guide for a Perfect Hair Care Routine at Night
We all understand the importance of a good hair care routine. But have you considered the significance of nighttime hair care? A dedicated evening routine can be a game-changer for your hair's health and appearance. Here’s your simple guide to perfecting your hair care routine before you hit the pillow.
Why Is a Nightly Hair Care Routine Essential?
Your hair endures much during the day—pollution, heat styling, and even natural oil production can impact your hair's health. A nightly routine helps reduce these effects by rejuvenating your hair while you sleep, enhancing its strength, vitality and balancing the sebum on the scalp.
Moreover, caring for your hair at night can help prevent damage and breakage caused by friction with your pillowcase as you toss and turn. This extra care before bedtime keeps your hair looking healthy and vibrant. Remember how Goldilocks used to brush her hair 100 times before bed.
Step 1: Brush Your Hair
Start your nightly routine by gently brushing your hair. This helps detangle knots and spread the scalp’s natural oils throughout your hair, promoting moisture retention and reducing breakage. Use a wide-tooth comb or a soft brush, starting from the ends and working your way up to minimize stress on your hair. If you have curly hair, opt for a detangling brush designed to preserve your curls.
Step 2: Apply a Nourishing Hair Mask or Oil
To deeply moisturize and repair your hair, apply a nourishing hair mask or oil suited to your hair type. Coat your hair from roots to tips and let the treatment sit for at least 30 minutes, or overnight if possible. This step is crucial for restoring hydration and reviving dull, damaged hair.
Organix Mantra Rosemary & Lavender Hair oil is ideal for revitalizing and reviving hair growth. This hair oil is formulated with a blend of nurturing oils such as jojoba, coconut, and olive, selected for their proven benefits in improving hair and scalp health. These oils fortify and nourish your hair, creating optimal conditions for natural vitality and growth. The formula enhances hair texture, leaving it softer and more lustrous while avoiding any greasy residue.
For those with fine or oily hair, choose lightweight oils or masks to avoid weighing down your hair. You can cover your hair with a shower cap to lock in the treatment and maximize its benefits.
Step 3: Tie Up Your Hair Gently
If you’re skipping the hair mask or oil, it’s still wise to tie your hair up loosely to prevent tangling and breakage while sleeping. Avoid tight elastic bands that can stress your hair. Instead, use a silk or satin scrunchie or headband to gently secure your hair. For longer hair, a loose braid works well to keep your hair organized and minimize knots.
Step 4: Switch to a Satin Pillowcase
Minimize hair damage from friction by sleeping on a satin pillowcase. The smooth texture of satin helps reduce hair breakage and maintain moisture levels in your hair. If you don’t have a satin pillowcase, wrapping your hair in a silk scarf is an effective alternative. Also, keep your pillowcase clean to avoid the buildup of oils and hair care products.
Step 5: Morning Care
In the morning, wash your hair to remove any overnight product buildup. Use a sulfate-free shampoo and a nourishing conditioner to cleanse gently without stripping natural oils. Consider a cool rinse to close the hair cuticles, enhancing shine and reducing frizz.
To Sum Up
Consistency is key in maintaining the health and beauty of your hair. Integrate these steps into your nightly routine for noticeable improvements in your hair's texture and strength. Wake up to healthier, more beautiful hair every day by giving it the care it deserves at night. Happy hair care!
