The Immutable Order of Males: Ruthless Reflections on Rank and Worth
In this world, hierarchy is not a convenience nor a choice—it is the natural consequence of superiority. Among men, each must accept his place or risk becoming fodder for those with the fortitude to seize command. I observe this order with cold precision, knowing full well that the majority of men lack even the courage to confront their position, let alone rise above it. For them, servitude is a kindness—if not an inevitability. And at the pinnacle of this hierarchy, beyond the reach of lesser beings, stands the Alpha: powerful, commanding, and unassailable.
The Alpha: Supreme and Unyielding
To be Alpha is to rule. Not through feeble words or pretensions, but through an innate and unshakable mastery that commands respect and instills fear. Alphas are rare, as most men lack the will or the strength to embody such dominion. For an Alpha, the world is not a shared experience; it is his domain. He owes nothing to the ranks beneath him and expects nothing in return except compliance and obedience.
An Alpha demands allegiance not through pleas or persuasion but through sheer presence, making his authority felt by his very existence. Others can only hope to obey, for they lack the mettle to challenge his rule. Any man who sees himself as anything less than superior is beneath contempt—worthy only as a servant or a stepping stone, nothing more.
The Beta: Subservient but Useful
Below the Alpha lies the Beta, the only type worthy enough to stand close yet still leagues beneath. Betas are strong but submissive, loyal without question, and capable of supporting the Alpha’s vision without the misguided ambition to surpass him. They are useful but docile, understanding their place with a primitive instinct. They are wolves, perhaps, but they are wolves on a leash—tameable, bendable, and subject to the Alpha’s will.
A Beta can stand proud within his limitations, for he knows he serves a higher command. His usefulness lies solely in his obedience and reliability, traits which the Alpha values solely as tools. A Beta who oversteps, however, is swiftly reduced to insignificance, a disposable reminder that loyalty is his sole virtue.
The Gamma: Disposable Mediocrity
Gammas occupy the expendable middle ranks, a sea of average men who lack both the fortitude to rise and the decency to remain silent. They are men of tedious labor, devoid of any distinguishing mark save their inability to command. They serve their purpose well enough, but they are inconsequential—grist for the mill, nothing more. A Gamma is little more than a shadow cast by the Alpha’s light, destined to linger in mediocrity, his presence tolerated only because it is unthreatening.
The Gamma’s fate is to be ignored, perhaps pitied, but never respected. He will neither inspire nor offend; he simply exists. A Gamma’s attempts at significance are laughable, a spectacle for the stronger to watch with detached amusement as he flounders in his own delusions.
The Delta: The Common, the Insignificant
Deltas populate the bottom rung of tolerable existence, the masses who neither think nor strive but exist only to follow. They are the faceless, the uninspired, the sheep content to graze in docile herds under the shadow of true men. Deltas are marked by their passive natures, their lack of ambition, and their abject failure to inspire even the faintest spark of admiration.
They serve not by choice but by nature, their lives ruled by routine and predictability. Their presence is barely worth acknowledging, and their actions serve only to support the infrastructure of the world that their betters command. The Delta’s fate is a dull, compliant existence, punctuated by mediocrity, entirely forgettable.
The Omega: The Despised and Contemptible
At the very bottom lies the Omega—a pathetic creature deserving only of disdain. He is neither strong enough to follow nor capable enough to contribute. An Omega exists as a monument to human failure, the inevitable result of weakness, cowardice, and a complete lack of discipline. His very existence is an affront to the hierarchy, a blight upon the natural order.
An Omega’s life serves one purpose: to remind others of the cost of failure. He is to be despised, scorned, and, if necessary, erased from memory. His struggles are not worth acknowledgment, for he contributes nothing, takes nothing, and is, in essence, nothing. To him, life is a bleak, humiliating experience where he exists solely as a lesson in disgrace.
A Final Note on Worth and Existence
In this hierarchy, men find their purpose. Not all are meant to command; most exist only to serve, to be led, and, at times, to be swept aside by those with the strength to dominate. The hierarchy is not a choice, and it does not change based on the whimsy of the masses. It is the unbreakable structure that defines worth, that separates the strong from the weak, and the worthy from the worthless.
True men do not pity those below, nor do they feign humility. Instead, they accept their power with grace, demanding respect and obedience as naturally as one draws breath. It is not cruelty but clarity that I offer. For in this hierarchy, each man finds his role, and those too weak to embrace it are best left to wallow in their insignificance, forgotten and utterly unworthy of recognition.

one of the things that continues to strike me on reread is how much the character of Darcy, and Austen through him, finds Mr. Bennet dead. And how much Elizabeth, in growing and changing and discarding her past blindness, has to move past her way of seeing her father and thus of seeing reality, because the two are connected! Darcy’s letter exposes her father’s flaws to Elizabeth in a way she’d never been able to see before. Most especially the way his laziness and neglect of his own gifts have hurt his family and that ultimately he doesn’t. care. Not enough to change. It literally says that she comes home from Hunsford and tries to laugh at her sisters’ and mother’s folly (the way she used to; the way her father has taught her to by example for her whole life) and she can’t anymore! It sticks in her throat. She is grieved by the failures that she sees in him, all the more so because she IS his favorite and she loves him! And the thing about Mr. Bennet is he never changes. The Lydia/wickham situation exposes to him sharply his own conduct and the consequences and he feels it! Because he is neither stupid nor unfeeling. But he, like everyone, has free will. And he chooses not to change when the opportunity presents itself. He even jokes about how quickly his feeling bad will pass and how soon everything will go back to normal, to his laziness and his selfishness. He is set in his ways and he serves as a contrast to Elizabeth’s personal journey because he embodies a version of a person she could have become and was in danger of becoming if her only goal at all times was to laugh at and judge people from the sidelines.
#pride and prejudice#I’ve always loved his character because he IS funny and he is iconic!!! and his love for Lizzy is touching!#he’s not faking it.#but he is so flawed. a man of taste a man of ability a man of judgment.#a man who could and SHOULD have set a different tone for his children and chose not to!#and they SUFFER FOR IT#their house is a divided one. and every child feels the pain of living in a house where the parents neither respect each other#nor are on the same team#there is a crack running through their house for this reason and it’s how Lydia (and Kitty) came to be so neglected!#who is going to discipline them or guide them? certainly not Mr. Bennet!#he’s so important to teach too. because the boys LOVE HIM. of course!#and are always very struck by his failures and laziness once I point it out#and yeah Darcy one of the only people who can expose him. because Darcy is putting in the work a man should be doing#Darcy’s house IS in order. his love is active and protective. he is fulfilling his role!#Mr. Bennet’s gifts are so extraordinary—the wit. the insight into human nature. honestly the capacity for wisdom#but he likes his library. he likes enjoying himself more than he likes doing his duty#as either a father or a husband#he does fail Mrs. Bennet! I have compassion for her there#anyway I love to think about this: something no version I have ever seen has ever fully explored#but man is it on the page#yeah yeah sorry for all the words. teacher off duty etc.

Eloise is really, really bad at chess😐
(this is a scene from my fic & I typed it up here:)
"Milady, you cannot send him there! He will surely die a terrible death, and Murdoch is our finest knight!"
Eloise blinked her bleary eyes at the wizarding chess board, not really comprehending what the tiny pieces were yelling at her. The one that seemed to be doing the most talking was gesticulating wildly and jumping up and down, trying to get her attention. When she had taken the pieces out of the box Sebastian had lent her, they had immediately recognized her and started protesting, appealing to 'their benevolent lord's innate sense of goodness', but their protests fell on deaf ears. Eloise was positive that Sebastian took some sort of perverse pleasure at watching her lose at chess.
In the background, she could hear Ominis's laughter echoing through the Undercroft. His own pieces were quite happy at the moment, preening and occasionally sending rude gestures towards Eloise's, much to Sebastian's amusement. He was narrating their every action to Ominis, whose laughter was egging on his soldiers even more.
"Eloise," Sebastian said, propping his chin up by one hand (entirely too amused, infuriatingly so, why did he have to look so handsome when she was trying to be annoyed at him?), "maybe you should move the knight..." his other hand pointed to an empty space on the board, "...here."
This declaration caused an uproar. There were shouts of betrayal, tiny pieces gesticulating wildly to the carnage surrounding the board as they shouted in vain. She didn't see any other viable moves, so Eloise sighed and ordered the brave little Murdoch to where Sebastian had suggested. Chaos immediately ensued and Ominis's queen gleefully knocked his head off with a violent swing of her scepter. Eloise's pawns all doubled over, sobbing as their most valient knight fell, and her remaining bishop shook his tiny fist in outrage up at her.
After a few more minutes, much to Eloise's ashamed relief and the boys' disappointment, her pieces refused to move for either her or Sebastian. They solemnly collected the remains of their fallen comrades with as much dignity as they could muster and marched off the board and back into their box in a mourning parade of sorts.
Sebastian joined Ominis's pieces as they jeered the losing team off the board, causing Eloise to glare fiercely at him. "You were the one telling me what to do, and they're your pieces! Show some loyalty."
He shrunk away from the intensity of her gaze and held up his hands in protest. "I was suggesting the moves as a joke! After last week's fiasco, I didn't think you'd fall for it again."
Ominis was laughing so hard he was gasping for breath, and the two of them turned to watch him. Even through her irritation, Eloise couldn't help but smile at him - he was always so solemn and these bouts of mirth were few and far between. He managed to speak between bouts of laughter. "I...I couldn't...I couldn't believe it when you sent your bishops one by one into my trap! It was so obvious! And then...and then you..." Ominis dissolved into fits of laughter again and couldn't finish.
Eloise turned her angry glare to him. "We can't all be chess geniuses!"
"I've tried teaching you and you don't listen! For the next time, I'm only going to give you one piece of advice: don't listen to Sebastian." He chuckled once more to himself and then turned slightly to the board, addressing his men (and queen) and giving them a debriefing. He always did this after he won the matches; it was a strange sort of ritual that he seemed to look forward to.

there's something so insane about terry seeking out his new warrior in wolf. terry finding a champion to support, coming out bloodied and sweaty from a cage. terry, so far gone that he has no more fear of the cage - in fact, the cage has become a thrill to him. terry projecting the old john that he lost onto his new ruthless and abusive co-sensei to feel some vestige of the glory that he and john once felt as the senseis of cobra kai. so. insane.

My Man Foucault
Tumblr media
I love Noam Chomsky but if it's gonna be Chomsky vs Foucault, it's always my fav gay boi
Even though he rejected labels such as homosexuality bcs they result in negative consequences for those on whom these labels are attached.
But the fact that he said all this like what more than 40 years ago and yet its' so relevant today is both harrowingly scary and ironically beautiful at the same time.

The Refinement of Masculinity’s Natural Order
In light of deeper reflections and a desire to bring greater clarity and sophistication to the discourse on masculinity’s natural hierarchy, I, Sir Cedric, hereby announce a significant evolution in my understanding and articulation of the immutable order of males. While my foundational text, The Immutable Order of Males: Reflections on Rank and Worth, remains a cornerstone for the guidance of the common mind, I have undertaken the task of refining this structure to reflect a more nuanced, elevated perspective—one worthy of the most discerning intellects.
The principles laid out in the original text, timeless and irrefutable in their application, have proven to be an essential tool for establishing order and understanding among those who lack the capacity for higher reasoning. For such minds, the simplicity of the original hierarchy will remain an invaluable guide. It shall serve as the framework through which the masses can comprehend their place in the natural order and recognize the authority of those above them.
However, for those who possess the intellect, discipline, and insight to appreciate a more intricate understanding of masculinity, I have crafted a revised and refined hierarchy. This new articulation represents an evolution—an elevated structure that captures the subtleties of power, submission, and purpose within the masculine domain. It acknowledges not only the raw dynamics of dominance but also the interplay of refinement, discipline, and utility.
This refined hierarchy will be revealed in the coming days, offering a deeper exploration of the roles and relationships that define true masculinity. It will challenge the shallow conceptions of hierarchy held by lesser minds, offering instead a vision of order that is as sophisticated as it is unassailable.
To all who serve under the natural order I have outlined, let this declaration serve as both a reminder and an inspiration. The path to greatness lies not in resisting one’s place within the hierarchy but in embracing it fully, whether as a leader, a follower, or a tool for the assertion of power. Prepare yourselves to receive the new standard, one that will illuminate the path for the worthy and reaffirm the dominance of the few.
The immutable principles of rank and worth endure, but they now ascend to a new level of clarity and refinement. It is with this in mind that I move forward, presenting a hierarchy that will not only guide but define the very essence of masculine order for those who are able to comprehend its depths.

There’s a thin line between love and hate.
According to bodycam footage obtained by PLUNDER on YouTube, Kroy is seen informing police officers that Kim has gambled away their financial stability.
I would like to point out that financial hardships have brought many to end their own lives along with others, such as their wife and children. Watching Kroy lash out on the recent bodycam footage TMZ released is not only a reminder, but a red flag of a fatal reality.
They had their own reality show which paid them handsomely over the years. However, poor wealth management has led them to financial ruins today.
Kim’s gambling addiction has been documented on their show “Don’t Be Tardy,” and their lavish spending has been shown off on her social media platforms.
MARRIAGE IS A BUSINESS AGREEMENT
“Kim, these are joint marital assets!”
Kim has accused Kroy of selling her purses and other luxury belongings. Kroy has defended his actions stating he has sold or stashed “joint marital assets” to sell so he can pay off debts.
What are “Joint Marital Assets”?
JMA are items owned by both parties in the marriage due to the items being purchased during the duration of the marriage.
For example, if items are purchased from a joint bank account, it is considered a joint marital asset.
KROY HAS THE LEGAL RIGHT TO SELL THE HANDBAGS
WHY?
Because in the eyes of Georgia law, they are considered ONE. Therefore, Kroy has the authority to stash and sell items that are his.
Just like Kim has the legal authority to call a locksmith to break into a safe she suspects is holding her bags.
Love is useless without logistics
Financial literacy needs to be taught in schools, households and accessible television programs and social media apps. These two have 6 kids together who are now experiencing a major lifestyle shift, along with trauma
Two of the 6 children have had to call the police on their own parents.
TEEN SELF TIP: We all want the riches and luxury lifestyle, calling my hypergamy and spoiled girlies. Prepare for this desired lifestyle by learning how to save and multiply your money. Money from your job and your boo.
BuyMeACoffee, but I prefer wine ;)

I love excusing any and all of batmans behavior by saying "no he doesn't really mean that he's just playing the long game to manipulate you for your own good because if you knew how he really felt then he would have to navigate a path that would be even more painful but actually he thrives on pain because he thinks he deserves it because nothing makes sense unless he deserves it and so when he makes sure he can stay in his role as batman by sabotaging everything around him it's not actually sabotage because he's doing the correct and right thing in his mind by causing just enough pain to be able to fix it and keep the cycle of pain and healing going"

What's your favorite thing about Catholicism?
That is true, that it is the church that God Himself founded, that it helps us submit our sinful personalities to the will of God, that it is beautiful in its liturgy, that it makes us examine our consciences, confess our faults and atone for them. And many other things.

#I also keep seeing modern au aubrey-maturin art#that makes me wish I could draw and thereby contribute#unfortunately I can't even *write* modern aus generally. but I like transferring character dynamics from place to place in my brain#and I feel like I could do a university AU very nicely if I could do AUs at all#because I have had rowers in my class with as far as I could tell jack's exact personality#(unfortunately it has to be a US university AU because (a) that's what I know and (b) afaik nobody else does randomly assigned roommates)#(and I cannot pass up the opportunity for randomly assigned roommates.#OR RATHER#for 'you seem more or less human - quick let's request each other so we don't have to go into potluck'#I think that works best)#(but maybe they are both international students anyway. that works fine. & therefore extremely alarmed by potluck [can't say they're wrong]#sophie is a sorority girl. english major I think. and I can see her so clearly#(she's the part I want to draw)#she's not that into the high-octane social schedule her sorority expects her to have#but her pushy mother was a member and it is Unthinkable that sophie should not be#and a lot of the other girls are sweet :) so it's fine :) she says#feel like she has roommate issues (unlike her original self she is able to live away from mrs williams so this makes up for that)#so she's always over in jack and stephen's room. people who know her tangentially sometimes gossip about which one she's actually dating#(at that particular moment it is actually neither of them she's just hanging out with stephen)#diana freed from the shackles of 19th century womanhood creates even more and weirder drama than in canon#idk I just want to see the plot of post captain played out over text message#don't ask me HOW idk HOW i just want it#stephen is a biology major/pre-med obvs. if he can survive organic chemistry#jack is some kind of engineering major. I think he'd enjoy that with the math. diana has changed her major 7 times#(I don't know whether to put jack in rotc. I don't think it Actually actually fits - he's in the navy in canon because he's in the navy#not bc he's Inevitably Military In All Worlds. he would not want to do that if he didn't get to sail#but at the same time I find it hard to picture him not belonging to Discipline somehow.#it's more than a disinterested passion for cleanliness that drives him to wash stephen's mug for him that has had coffee and ramen in it#(and NOT in that order)#in the bathroom sink
