Some personal head cannons I have for Suki

He doesn't start drinking coffee until you do, he likes whatever you order or make and it becomes his fav, because the small things make him feel close to you.

He doesn't drink soda much but when he does his fav is Fanta orange 🧡🍊 (Marqi helped with this one)

Katsuki knows everything about flowers, his mom taught him all about their meanings, how to care for them and that he should always have flowers in his apartment single or not (he doesn't start doing this until after a really good relationship that leads to a really bad breakup)

He and his mom fight like cats and dogs but they love each other. Don't fuck with Mitsuki's son and don't fuck with Katsuki's mom. They will end your life.

Bakugou can design and sew an entirely new outfit but chooses not to unless he thinks his assigned support team sucks. Then all mods on his hero suit are made by him.

Katsuki keeps all his "nasty" scars, even the one on his face down to his finger tips that came from the war. He hates them, they make his stomach churn with dread and pride. He's strong enough to survive but weak enough to be scathed. He constantly goes back and forth on them.

He hates mornings and goes to bed early mostly to try to sleep. I think he's a bit of an insomniac, has to be really tired to fall asleep right at 8pm

Hates having a nickname unless it's someone he really likes. Will get mad if they stop using his nickname and call him his real name. (Yes even Deku has to call him Kaachan always, normally in my versions they tolerate each other or become close friends but never call themselves friends. Just deku and Kaachan)

Katsuki is excellent with computers, really he is a jack of all trades, perfect in most.

He hates having a sidekick, only ever wants a pro partner. It feels like baby sitting to him, not that the sidekick isn't capable, he hates splitting his attention and account for their lack of experience that often. He's very good at leading and sidekicks call him a hard ass but he trains them to have the most battle sense.

Katsuki hates to eat alone. He'll eat alone at a table yes but people need to be in the next room or around him, like a restaurant etc. He hates having a meal for one at 2am in his apartment.

I think he's secretly a family man. He doesn't realize it til he meets the right one.

Earl Grey Chocolate Orange Cookies 🍊🍫☕️

(recipe inspired by Schmackary’s Earl of Chocolate cookies!! if you’re ever in nyc give em a try)

makes about 2 and a half dozen cookies if you don’t eat too much of the dough

ingredients

3 earl grey tea bags

1 cup (2 sticks) butter

3/4 cup sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar

generous pinch of salt

1 egg

1 tbsp vanilla extract

2 1/2 cups flour

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 cup candied orange peel

1/4 cup mini chocolate chips

pre-heat oven to 350 f / 180 c

Melt butter on high heat and stir in loose tea leaves, let steep for about 5 minutes. Let it cool for a bit then strain (this may take several passes to get all the leaves).

Add flour, baking soda, and baking powder to a medium bowl and whisk together. Add earl grey butter to a large bowl with sugar, salt, egg, and vanilla and whisk until well incorporated. Add dry to wet ingredients and mix with rubber spatula, switching to kneading with hands if necessary. Fold in orange peel and chocolate chips.

Scoop dough by the tablespoon and roll into balls. Evenly space them on cookie trays, 12 to a standard cookie tray. Bake for 15 - 17 minutes. Let rest on tray for a few minutes before transferring to a wire cookie rack to finish cooling. Bone apple teeth

The Ultimate Orange Muffins

Hello everyone! So, previously, there has been some discussion on this blog about trying out several different orange muffin recipes on the quest to find the best Art Heist, Baby! James (and Regulus Black approved) Orange Muffin™️ ever made. I am now ready to begin this journey and will document my research and discoveries along the way! Please feel free to follow along on this orange muffin journey!

Starting Information:

I will be working my way through orange muffin recipes at least once a month (maybe twice if I can manage and have people to pawn muffins off on! We will see!)

The goal is to try at least 10 different iterations of orange muffins which i will rank (1-5) on skill (how easy is it to make, how many/what types of ingredients/ special tools you need, how long it takes), orange and overall flavor (arbitrary but it's my muffin bracket so idc!), and texture (consistency, moisture, idk, like, crumble factor)

After giving each recipe an overall score, the top scoring muffin will be crowned The Art Heist, Baby! Orange Muffin (James' version).

All that being said...Here is the first recipe and rank for September's bake! ✨

Chai Orange Muffins!

Ingredients: 🍊 3/4 cup Oil 🍊 1 cup Sugar 🍊 2 Eggs 🍊 1 tsp. Vanilla 🍊 1/3 cup Chai tea latte concentrate (store bought or make your own!) 🍊 1 and 1/2 cups Flour 🍊 1 tsp. Salt 🍊 1 tsp. Baking soda 🍊 2 Tbsp. Orange zest, grated

Directions: Set oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line 12 muffin cups with paper liners. Combine oil, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and Chai Concentrate. In a separate bowl, stir together the flour, salt, baking soda and orange zest. Blend in the oil mixture and stir lightly. Pour into muffin cups. Bake for 15 to 25 minutes. Serves 12.

Extra: I also made a chai glaze to put on top of the muffins which is optional but here is the recipe for that as well!

🍊 1 cup of powdered sugar 🍊 2 tbsp of chai concentrate 🍊 1 tsp of vanilla 🍊 1 tsp of cinnamon

Directions: Stir until glaze consistency and add more chai concentrate as needed! Wait till muffins are cooled to add the glaze.

Ranking:

Skill: 4 (Super easy to make! Had all of the ingredients at home to make besides the chai concentrate! Just needed a bowl, a fork and a muffin tin really. Kinda hard to nail down a set bake time though. The recipe said 10-15 minutes mine needed like 25.) Flavor: 4.5 (The chai is so wonderful and it doesn't overpower the orange flavor. Muffins are good with or without the glaze. Can definitely taste the orange!) Texture: 4 (So yum. Not dry! bUT some cooked a little unevenly (that's on me ik but shush). Also they don't really have a good muffin top. They're more flat like a cupcake so I deducted some points for the aesthetic. Sorry!) FINAL RANKING: 4.2/5

Final Thoughts: The muffins are good! Almost more of a dessert muffin because they are very sweet! But they're a strong contender for my favorite already because I love chai, and the muffins made my entire house smell so lovely. A slay! (Would Regulus be able to stack several of these on his plate and save them for later though??? Kinda doubt it. So we continue on!) ✨ Tune in next time for my "Bakery Style Orange Muffin" Bake!
