Daniel Ricciardo (RB Visa) - Lover
Requested: yes
Swift Series
Prompt: Daniel and international popstar Y/n accidentally get married in Vegas
Warnings: nope
Tumblr media
Daniel woke up in his hotel room with a pounding headache, groaning as he tried to open his eyes but being blinded by the sun coming through the windows each time. He turned around, cursing to himself before his eyes widened. Y/n, the Y/n lay beside him, in just a bra. While they had met several times before and hung out with similar people, this was the last person he expected to see in his bed the morning after a race weekend. He began questioning what had happened? What had he done? Or more importantly, who had he done? Whilst Daniel sat thinking about what to say to her when she woke up, he ultimately decided to order room service and go to the bathroom to actually think.....and maybe throw up.
Y/n was awoken by a door closing quite loudly. She jumped up, looking around, her eyes had grown wife as she realised that she wasn't asleep in her room, she was in someone else's. She heard footsteps coming and turned to see who it was. "Uh... morning?" Daniel croaked, his voice scratchy from the combination of dehydration and excessive partying. Y/n grabbed the bed covers and pulled them up over her chest. "What the fuck happened?" She mumbled to herself. "Yeah, I said the same thing."
Daniel scratched his head, replying, "I wish I knew. It's all a bit of a blur." Suddenly, his eyes widened as he noticed a shiny object on his finger. "You don't think this would have anything to do with it?" He lifted his hand to show Y/n, before she looked down, spotting the matching ring. "I got married in Vegas." She was so unbelievably angry with herself. Since she was a child she dreamed of this big extravagant wedding and now she just got married in Vegas?
She looked over to Daniel as he burst into laughter. "Well, you can't get rid of me now." Daniel chuckled, his Australian accent making the situation even more absurd. "Daniel, this is not funny, I'm going to get into so much shit!" Y/n said. Daniel turned to open his big bottle of champagne as Y/n continued her rant. "You're having champagne? At this time?" Daniel walked over to the bed with a glass and sat down, handing it to her and pouring her a glass. "Why are we still here? We should go get divorced!" Y/n implored him. "You need to know where you got married first." Daniel replied, drinking the champagne from the bottle as Y/n looked on. She downed the glass quickly before grabbing the bottle from Daniel. "I need more than a glass." She mumbled, amking Daniel laugh. "I don't know why you're so upset, I'd make a great husband."
"Daniel, can we just think about what happened and then we'll get down to the details of whether or not you're a good husband?" Daniel nodded before Y/n began to think. "So chief, what happened last night?" Daniel asked, rubbing his temples in an attempt to alleviate the throbbing ache. Y/n shook her head, her expression mirroring his confusion. "I don't really remember much. We were at that bar, right?" Daniel nodded slowly, bits and pieces of their escapades starting to trickle back into his consciousness. "Yeah, we were celebrating... something." He lifted the champagne tp his lips once more before handing it over to Y/n. She frowned, trying to recall the reason behind their impromptu celebration. "Was it the points you scored? Maybe my new song got number one?"
"Maybe we just got fucking wasted." Daniel shrugged, before Y/n slapped his bare chest, making him wince in pain. "Oh, shit. I'm sorry." Y/n said. "I vaguely recall a dance-off and a questionable karaoke rendition of 'I Will Survive.'" She ran her fingers through her hair. "Oh, great," Daniel chuckled. "Classic Vegas moves." As she continued on with the possibilities, Daniel looked at the crumpled looking paper on the night stand. Daniel unfolded it tentatively, his heart sinking as he read the words scrawled across the page: Marriage Certificate - Daniel Ricciardo & Y/n Y/l/n - Las Vegas, Nevada.
Y/n's hand flew to her forehead as the reality of their situation sunk in. "Oh my God... we actually got married." Daniel let out a chuckle laugh, his mind oscillating between disbelief and amusement. "I know. I would have actually gotten you a nice ring. Maybe an expensive one?" Y/n slapped his chest again. "Yeah, it's still sore when you do that."
"Sorry, but you need to stop joking about this. It's serious!" She said. "It's really not. No one even knows." She looked to him. "We were clubbing with other drivers, surely one of them were there. Daniel went to turn on his phone, but it was dead. "Must have been to occupied to charge my phone." Daniel joked. "Yeah, getting married." Y/n replied, charging her phone. "I was thinking of starting our honeymoon." He gasped. "Are we going to have a baby Ricciardo?"
"No!" Daniel arched a brow. "Excuse me, but you would be lucky to have a child with my genes." He said, pretending to be hurt. "Yeah, and your humour." She rolled her eyes. "See? Dream team." They sat in silence for a few minutes. She expected a call from her manager at any given second. He was going to kill her. Daniel noticed how tense she was getting and turned to Y/n, holding out his hand. "Well, at least we've got one epic story for the grandkids." Y/n chuckled, taking his hand. "Yep, and a marriage certificate to prove it."
"If our managers don't call us in the next hour, they won't know and I say we go get divorced." Y/n thought about it for a moment. "I mean, if they don't know why bother? The point of us divorcing is so they get off our backs. Plus, it's broad daylight. If people see us going to the Chapel, people will find out." Daniel nodded. "So we're staying married?" Y/n smiled. "Of course. You're like the best husband I could have asked for." Daniel squeezed her hand. "Well, I say we head to the airport and get out of here." Daniel suggested, getting up. "Or we could enjoy our honeymoon with some movies?" He chuckled and sat back down, grabbing the remote control and turning Netflix on. "Sounds good. Can I?" Y/n nodded, allowing Daniel to wrap an arm around her as she leaned into him. "You're coming to Abu Dhabi, though." Daniel said. "Duh. You're going to go to the last race without your wife?"

we share that really
for @corrodedcoffinfest prompt ‘band politics’
rated t | 905 words | no cw | tags: famous corroded coffin, reunion tour, future fic, steddie dads, everyone has a family and is happy
🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
Their label said it was too soon to do a reunion tour. They were only in their early 40s and had only been officially “broken up” for ten years.
But they were all in the right place: married, children who were old enough to come on tour but still young enough to be excited about it, and writing music that meant more to them than anything they’d done before.
Rumors had swirled for years after they announced their break up. None of them saw it as a breakup, more an early retirement that let them focus on building their lives. Fans and media alike hadn’t stopped coming up with other reasons for it: Gareth had been in love with Eddie for years and finally said something which caused friction, Jeff’s wife had threatened to divorce him if he didn’t take time off, Frankie had a drinking problem that was spreading like a viral disease.
None of it was even close to true.
The one and only reason for all of them was that they wanted to focus on their families for a while.
They stayed in touch, almost more than when they were on tour together. Jeff and Gareth lived in the same neighborhood, and Frankie bought an RV so he could come visit as often as he wanted. Eddie had traveled for a very extended honeymoon with Steve for nearly a year before finally settling an hour away, halfway between his favorite people and Steve’s favorite person.
They still played together at least once a month, a full set and any new stuff someone brought with them.
So when they all agreed it was time to come back and record a new album and do a tour, it wasn’t really a reunion so much as an excuse to be even closer for a while.
The label was thrilled, willing to give everyone their own tour bus so their families could come with them for the US part of the tour.
One thing none of them were prepared for was the media following the announcement.
“Is it true that you only just reconciled after years of legal battles about rights to songs?” A journalist from Rolling Stone asked.
Gareth snorted. “Not even a little, dude. We’ve been best friends this entire time.”
“So there was never any issue with Eddie being the most famous?”
Everyone looked over at Eddie, who was making faces at his youngest daughter at the side of the stage. Jeff leaned into his mic and gestured over to him.
“None of us have ever had a problem with him being the face of the band. We’re here to make music and perform, not fight over who gets to be in the center of pictures,” he said. “Plus, none of us would wanna deal with what he deals with on a daily basis. He’s not that interesting, I promise.”
Everyone laughed as Eddie turned back to the crowd with a smile. “I’m super boring. Just ask my kids.”
"So you don't mind that he gets creative control?" Another reporter asked.
They all shared looks with each other before Eddie leaned forward into his microphone to answer.
"I don't have creative control. We all share it. We all share everything. That's the point of a band like ours. Sometimes I know what sounds best for a guitar solo, sometimes Jeff does. Sometimes Gareth writes a chorus that people will sing along to, sometimes Frankie does. We've never had any of that lead person bullshit no matter what the media wants to show," Eddie drummed once on the table. "Are there any questions about the upcoming album and tour or is everyone here gonna keep asking about shit that isn't true?"
"Language!" Steve yelled from the side of the room.
Everyone laughed and Eddie waved him off.
They got more questions about the album and the tour and it finally seemed like everyone was done asking about band politics until the very end.
"So will Eddie still be the lead guy for the reunion?" Someone from the back asked.
Eddie banged his head against the table.
"Alright, thanks everyone! We'll see you on tour!" Gareth yelled as he pulled Eddie's arm so they could all exit the stage.
"They want us to hate each other so bad," Frankie shook his head.
"Look at this face," Gareth said as he grabbed Eddie's jaw in one hand, squeezing his cheeks until his lips pouted out. "Who could hate this face?"
"Shit!" A small voice exclaimed from behind them.
Eddie turned to see his youngest daughter smiling up at him and Steve standing next to her with his hands on his hips.
"You're right, sweetie. Daddy's in deep shit," Eddie leaned in to kiss Steve's cheek. "And he is so sorry for breaking the no bad words rule today. He really is."
"Our fearless leader appears to be absolutely fucked," Jeff said as he started to walk towards his wife and kids.
Gareth trailed behind him in search of his own family.
Frankie punched Eddie's shoulder. "Good luck, big guy."
"Everyone hates me, call the media and tell them they were right," Eddie pouts.
Steve rolls his eyes and picks up their daughter, walking away.
Eddie turns to his twins. "Well, you guys don't care if I say shit."
"You said worse while getting ready this morning."
"And I'll say worse again! Let's get out of here."

But you're my stepmom! (Part 1)
A year after your dad's divorce with your mom, he introduces you to his new wife, Agatha. And she just wants to get to know you better.
Word count: 1500+
Warnings: mentions of underage drinking, blood
Taglist: @stayevildarling
A/N: trying to make this more of a slowburn, but we'll see how long that lasts lol. Part 2 should be up by tonight hopefully
Tumblr media
“Are you sure your dad won’t mind?” Wanda asks hesitantly, a few steps behind you as you stop in front of the gate.
You had gotten so bored in fifth period English that you had all but dragged your best friend to your car to skip the rest of the day. And now you were at your dad’s house, sneaking into the pool in his backyard. He lived in a house twenty minutes away from your high school and your mom’s house in hopes that you would come visit him often. You knew your dad wasn’t supposed to be home until late that night, so he would never find out that you had been there.
Things with your dad hadn’t been great ever since you had been the one to find out he was having an affair two years ago with a woman that he worked with. You told your mom, who promptly filed for divorce, and then your dad got dumped by his side piece because she was tired of not being able to go public soon enough. The irony still makes you laugh.
Almost a year after the divorce, he had sat you down and said: “Sweetie, there’s someone I want you to meet.” Enter Agatha Harkness, your dad’s new wife. The first thought that went through your mind when you first saw her was, is this woman blind? She was so far out of your dad’s league it wasn’t even funny. Your dad is a relatively short man, more gray than black hair at this point, with a square-shaped face. Meanwhile, Agatha was ethereal. Her piercing blue eyes always gave you the feeling that she knew something you didn’t, and her luscious dark hair was always shiny and cascading over her shoulders perfectly.
And there was something about her long fingers and veiny hands that made you want to scream.
You weren’t exactly sure how a woman like this had ended up with your dad, but out of spite for your dad and everything he had put your family through, you made it a point to stay as far away from her as possible. They had been married for about a year now and you can count on one hand the number of interactions you’ve had with her.
“Y/n?” Wanda brings you back to focus. Apparently you’ve just been standing in front of the gate.
“He’s working late,” is all you say, sliding your key into the lock and swinging the gate open. Your mom may have dragged your dad through the ringer in the divorce, but he had bounced back alright. Or this was all Agatha’s money.
“What about your stepmom?”
You shrug. “No clue what she does. But there were no cars in the driveway so we’re probably fine.” You lead her into the backyard, throwing your school bag onto a chair and stripping off clothes. Before Wanda can say anything, you jump into the pool in only your bra and underwear. “Come in!” You shout happily, splashing water at your friend.
Wanda finally lets go of her reservations and follows suit. The two of you splash around for what feels like forever, just enjoying the sun and each other’s company. You were so thankful for Wanda; she had been with you through everything and was truly the best friend you could’ve asked for.
“Do you want something to drink?” you ask, after you guys have just been floating for a while.
“Um, sure. Could I have some water?”
“Yeah, I’ll be right back.” You get out of the pool, not even bothering to dry yourself off even a little, and enter the house through the sliding glass doors that your dad should really start locking. You pad through the hallway to the kitchen before filling a cup with water and grabbing two of the beers from the two packs on the shelf in the fridge. You doubt they’ll even notice. You shut the refrigerator door, whirl around to go back outside, and jump. The beer bottles and the cup of water you’re holding slip out of your grasp and smash onto the floor.
Agatha Harkness is standing right there, watching you amusedly. “You’re soaking wet, darling.” The innuendo makes your stomach heat up ever so slightly. And then you realize what’s going on.
“What are you doing here?” you ask, panic running through you. If she tells your dad–
“I could ask you the same thing. Shouldn’t you be at school? Can’t be skipping during your senior year.” Her eyes glide up and down your scantily clad body and you suddenly get the urge to wrap your arms around yourself.
“I–”
“You’re bleeding, sweetheart. Let’s get you cleaned up.” You finally look down at the ground and see a mess of broken glass and alcohol. And blood, from your right leg. The pieces of the beer bottles must’ve cut you.
“Oh, shit,” you say distractedly, watching the way the red streams down your leg and collects in a pool, mixing with the beer.
“Come on, we can take care of this later,” Agatha says, helping you carefully step over the pile on the floor. She chews her lip while you watch her try to decide where to put you. You can’t lay on the white couch because you’re actively dripping with blood, and it’ll be too uncomfortable for both of you to have you stand. So you hop onto the counter top, staring at her expectantly. “That works,” Agatha agrees and grabs some paper towels.
You stick your right leg out and she gently applies pressure with the paper towel, trying to stop the block. You then realize just how close the older woman is to you. She’s standing in-between your legs, her face only about half a foot away from yours. You can’t stop yourself from looking down at her lips. She glances at you and your eyes immediately dart up, but you don’t think it’s quick enough based on the knowing smirk that’s playing on her lips. You’re still practically naked and goosebumps are lining your skin, both from the cold and from her.
You clear your throat. “You’re not, uh, gonna tell my dad, are you?” You wince as she presses down harder on a cut.
“What, that you skipped school, broke into our house, went swimming in our pool, and then was underage drinking?” Her grin is wolfish and you inwardly snarl.
“Technically, I didn’t drink,” you point out. She raises an eyebrow at you. You slump down. “Please don’t tell him.” Your voice is soft, but pleading. She finally takes off the paper towel and assesses the damage to your leg. The cuts don’t look that deep. You doubt you’ll need stitches.
“Let me get some bandaids and then we’ll talk.” She leaves the room and you quickly bolt outside, where Wanda is still lounging in the pool.
“There you are!” she exclaims.
“You gotta go,” you hiss urgently. “Agatha’s here and she already caught me but I don’t want you to get in trouble.” At the mention of your stepmom, Wanda jumps out of the pool, frantically throwing on her clothes.
“I knew we shouldn’t have cut class!”
“It’s a bit too late for that now, Wanda.” You root around in your bag for your keys and thrust them into her hand. “Take my car and then I’ll call you when I need you to come pick me up.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yes, now go!” You usher her out the gate, sprinting back inside, the sliding glass door closing right as Agatha comes down the stairs. She’s holding a pack of bandaids.
“I’m guessing you also don’t want me to tell your father about your friend?”
Fuck. “Agatha, please. You can tell him about me but please don’t mention Wanda.”
She beckons you to follow her back to the counter and she silently smears neosporin over your cuts before bandaging them up. You ignore the way her hands feel on your leg.
“I won’t tell your father,” she says finally. You breathe a sigh of relief and almost throw your arms around her. “If you clean up the mess you made in the kitchen, and if you let me take you out to dinner tonight.”
Your brows furrow in confusion. You obviously get the cleaning up part. But the other part..? “Why dinner?”
Agatha smiles and pats your thighs, still close to you. “I want to get to know my step-daughter a little better, darling. And your dad has a dinner thing to go to, so I’m all alone. I won’t tell your dad about your little afternoon escape or dinner. It’ll be our little secret,” she says teasingly, winking at you. Your mouth runs dry.
“Yeah, dinner sounds good. I need to run to my mom’s house and maybe change my clothes,” you say, also needing to get your car back and take Wanda back to school. You leave that part out though. Her hands, still on your thighs, travel up, closer to your center, and your breath quickens. And then she squeezes and steps back, you missing the warmth of her already. She offers you a hand and helps you get down from the counter. “Pick me up at 6?” you ask.
She smiles and nods. “It’s a date.”

nivi, we need another chaotic family drabble with kk reacting to azzi's post for ice when she never got one for her bday 😂
Unserious, unedited chaos back by popular demand 🤪:
It takes 5 minutes between Azzi hitting the post button and deciding to take a much-needed nap, before her door is being slammed open and KK comes roaring through it, face livid, Jana on the tip of her heels, and Paige following behind them both with an amused smirk.
"What. Is. This?" KK asks, shoving her phone in Azzi's face.
Azzi squints, "it's my birthday story for Ice?"
"AND WHY DOES ICE GET A BIRTHDAY STORY?" KK yells, stomping her foot to go along with it.
Before Azzi can reply, she's being tackled into a hug by a 6'3 koala, which sends her reeling about five steps.
"I KNEW I WAS YOUR FAVORITE CHILD," Ice bellows and Azzi flinches from how loud it is in her ear, suddenly nostalgic for the silence.
"I cannot BELIEVE," KK paces as Ice clings onto Azzi's back, "that you would differentiate between your children like this,"" she turns to Jana, "tell her Jana, tell her how much that hurt you."
"That really hurt my feelings," Jana recites and Azzi has to stifle a laugh, Paige doesn't even bother.
"KK-"
"IT'S KAMOREA TO YOU," KK holds up a hand and Azzi rolls her eyes.
"Okay then Kamorea-"
"I just-" KK lets out a dramatic, "I just wanna know why you know? What does SHE have that I don't mom? Is it the extra 2 inches-"
Ice scoffs, "you're barely 5-8"
"THAT'S NOT THE POINT," KK yells again and Paige snickers which gets her a pointed glare from KK, "what are YOU laughing at? She posted Lou too, when's the last time she posted you other than to get photo creds?"
Paige reels back at that, smirk disappearing as she turns to Azzi, "that's not the only reason you posted right? Right? I looked cute in those pics and you couldn't help yourself? RIGHT?"
"Right," Azzi nods, trying to prevent herself from rolling her eyes again, "that's exactly why."
"Girl boo, Don't believe her. She's a liar and a TRAITOR," KK stands defiantly in front of Paige, "besides we have to go find me a stepmother."
"Not this again," Azzi sighs, wondering why she doesn't lock her door more often. She still has all of Ice wrapped around her and it seems like the younger girl has not intention of getting off.
"Do you see, do you see how little she cares about you? ABOUT US?" KK puts a dramatic hand to her heart, "she doesn't even care."
"I don't want a new mother," Ice presses a wet kiss against Azzi's cheeks and Azzi can't help but smile despite the insanity, "I like this one."
"Then we'll do it parent-trap style, you get Azzi and I get Paige," KK says, nodding her head like she's making the most serious decision of her life.
Jana guffaws, "hello? Who do I get? Am I an orphan now?"
"You can come with us Jana," Ice volunteers excitedly, "you and Nés both."
"Absolute not. I am not losing my children and-" Paige cuts in, turning to Azzi with big blue eyes, "I don't want a divorce."
It's on the tip of Azzi's tongue to make a remark about how they're not married but she knows reason and logic are not her friends when it comes to this situation.
"KK-" she begins
"IT'S KAMOREA TO YOU," KK retorts haughtily. sitting herself down on Azzi's bed and crossing her leg.
Azzi lets out a deep breath, trying to muster as much sincerity as she can, "Kamorea I am sorry I hurt your feelings. Next year, I will post a story-"
"A grid post," KK demands.
"Right. I will make a grid post for you-"
"Because I am your favoritest child?" KK gives Azzi a look as behind her both Jana and Ice burst into protests.
"Because you are my child and I love you," Azzi concedes, "and I have an extra bag of of trufru that you can have."
A grins burst onto KK's face simultaneously with Paige's face dropping, "SHE GETS THAT BAG OF TRUFRU? SHE LITERALLY JUST GOT HOSPITALIZED FOR IT?"
"You said to fix it so will you just let me goddamn fix it?" Azzi says exasperatedly as Paige continues to sulk in the corner.
"I'm still mad at you," KK says slowly as she lifts off the bed, "but I might be less mad after I've had some time to think over trufru."
"My trufru," Paige mutters under her breath, following KK out of the door, no doubt on a mission to steal some for herself. Ice detaches herself from Azzi, practically skipping out the door with a happy grin and Jana shakes her head, sharing a commiserating smile with Azzi as she heads out as well.
This time, Azzi does lock her door, getting ready to finally take her now well-deserved nap, when her phone rings. Seeing Inés's called ID, she picks up the phone with a grin.
"Hi Nésy-"
"YOU POSTED A STORY FOR ICE???"
And that ladies and gentlemen, is why Azzi Fudd stays so far away from the grenade that is social media. Really, she'd much rather be asleep anyways.

AITA for leaving my husband and abandoning my kids after finding out my husband's secret?
Tumblr Disclaimer: This is fictional, based on some backstory from my Even Ice Walls Fall Down fanfiction universe. This is not a real AITA post (that should get pretty obvious the more it goes on)
I (47F) left my ex-husband (47M) twenty-two years ago when our oldest daughter was two and our youngest daughter was one, after finding out my husband wasn't who I thought he was.
Without getting too in the weeds, my ex-husband (we'll call him Seth) and I knew each other for most of our lives. We met in middle school and we were friends for years. The kind of friends that all our other friends thought would eventually get together, but we insisted we wouldn't. Well, we did. And we did pretty young. We got married when we were 22 and had our first baby a year later. Our second came a year after that. They were the most beautiful baby girls in the world. The two of them and Seth were my whole world.
I didn't know at the time that he was already lying to me.
See, I found out later that Seth—who, up until that point, had been nothing but a wonderful husband and father—was a villain. You know how in the last few decades, people with superpowers began cropping up? Yeah. He was one of them. I don't know if I would have reacted the same if he'd been lying about being a superhero. But when he finally admitted who he was, my heart shattered. I felt so betrayed and angry. We'd known each other since we were eleven or twelve and he hadn't bothered telling me he was a villain with superpowers until we'd been married for three years and he'd had his powers for even longer than that.
But, finally, when we were twenty-five, he told me. Our marriage completely fell apart. I couldn't stomach that he was a villain. Seth grew up in a bad home. His parents were neglectful and often fought with each other when he wasn't in the room. He called himself a "Band-Aid Baby," born to try and save his parents' marriage. Which, obviously, didn't work. We had some friends who were five or six years older than us who helped him get out of his situation as soon as he could. I don't know if growing up in a house like that is the reason why he chose to be selfish with the powers he got. Part of me doesn't think so, even now. Because despite that bad situation he grew up in, he was always sweet and romantic with me, and he loved our girls.
Anyway. We got in a lot of fights. We woke the babies more than once with how loud we were yelling. I couldn't take it. He'd lied to me for years. He lived two lives—and would have happily kept doing so without my knowledge had I not gotten close enough to his secret to push him into telling me
When I say "villain," by the way, I don't mean "person with superpowers who uses them to jack a fancy car for a joyride." I know he's got the kind of blood on his hands that will never wash off. The kind that comes from taking a life. And he did when we were married.
As our marriage continued to crumble and I could no longer stand even being in the same room with him, I did what I had to. I left. I couldn't do it anymore. I couldn't be with him.
And I left our babies with him.
Our girls were born in the earlier days of superpowered people appearing. No one knew how powers manifested, and they popped up randomly. No one knew if they were passed on genetically. I didn't know if those sweet, innocent babies would end up with powers like him. Would end up using them the way he did. I know this sounds bad coming from their mother, but I didn't want to have any part of that, if they ended up with powers. I didn't want anything to do with anyone with powers. I still don't.
So after we divorced, I left. I gave Seth full custody. I didn't even ask for visitation. He didn't contest the divorce. That doesn't mean he didn't fight for us. He just did it before the divorce. Once he was served, he accepted it and didn't fight anymore. I think he understood we were done.
But there was one more reason I left the girls with him. I could have taken them. If his secret got out, the courts would have given me full custody in a heartbeat (and he probably would have gone to jail). But I kept his secret during the process because, at the end of the day, I thought the girls would be safer with him. See, if I took our daughters with me, and somehow someone found out they were a villain's kids, my babies would never have a moment of peace or safety ever again. They would constantly be in danger. We would constantly have to move and restart our lives. And I couldn't do that to them. And Seth, fortunately or unfortunately, is one of those villains who is more than powerful enough to protect them. Keep them safe.
Seth and I made a promise to each other during the process. I wouldn't tell the courts (or anyone else) about his identity, and he wouldn't tell our daughters about being a villain either unless they end up with powers themselves. Not a fair trade, but I wanted our daughters to be able to have the opportunity to make a better choice.
I haven't seen any of them since. Except Seth's villain persona on the news every so often. I moved across the country and have kept my life small ever since. My workplace knows I'm divorced, but that's about all the details I've ever given
I don't know. Recently I've started to wonder if I made the wrong decision. It's been twenty-two years since I saw my daughters' faces. They're all grown up now and I haven't seen them since they were babies. I didn't get to take pictures of them in their prom dresses or at high school graduation. I missed their lives. I don't know if I can go back and face all those ghosts, though.

AITA for calling my mother and MIL selfish, insecure, pieces of shit over a friend's necklace?
Some background: I, 25F, just married the love of my life, who we'll call J.
I was introduced to J in our junior year of high school by our mutual friend, who we'll call G. G has always been a super important person to us. She is one of our best friends, and the three of us are very close. She was actually the first person we told when we started dating. We are both pretty protective over G, as she is autistic and has crippling anxiety and struggles a lot day to day. She was actually living with us when this story occurred because she had been spiraling on her own, and her parents lived too far for her to commute to her work from their house. She's been in therapy for years and has been doing a lot better than when we first met her, but we still tend to be pretty protective over her, as she has very few friends besides us. We often joke that she's our practice kid because she goes everywhere with us and has a complete lack of common sense despite being one of the smartest people I know.
In the last week of our junior year, J gave me, G, and another friend of his, necklaces that he made. They were nothing fancy, just pieces of rocks that he carved (?) and tied a string around, but G loved it. It acted as a reminder that she had people who cared about her when her anxiety spiked, and she's worn it almost every day for the last 9 years, to the point where J replaced the string with a thin chain because it broke from use. It's a comfort item, and wearing it is part of her routine.
Another important thing to note is that J and I both have pretty bad relationships with all of our parents. Both of our parents are messily divorced, and the only ones we visit regularly are my dad and stepmom. We still decided to invite all of them to the wedding and involve our mom's in the wedding party to avoid drama, and because some small part of me still wanted my mom to be involved in my wedding like a real parent.
Shortly before our wedding, I was talking to my mom and J's mom in our kitchen about some details for the wedding party and the bridesmaid and groomsmen accessories. I made a joke that no matter what we picked, G would be wearing her necklace. They wanted to know what I meant, and while I was explaining, G came into the kitchen to grab a snack. (Side note: neither of them like G, and my mom in particular has made several abelist comments in the past about her stimming or lack of social awareness) When I was done, my mom turned to G and asked if she was going to wear it at our wedding. Confused, G said yes, and my mom lost it. She called her disrespectful and accused her of trying to break up me and J because J gave her that necklace, and it was bad manners to wear a present from the groom or something. J's mom backed her up and said a lot of awful things I won't repeat, but were really abelist, arophobic (G is open about being aromantic), and included several slurs.
I was completely blindsided. I knew they had those awful opinions, but I had never heard them do anything even remotely close, and I sat there stunned at first until G started to cry and hyperventilate (she has trauma around situations similar to this, and she was already on edge because of a recent death in her family). When that happened, it was like a switch flipped. I got between G and my mom, who at this point had gotten out of her seat and was getting close to G. I told them both to get out, and when they refused I told them they were selfish, insecure, pieces of shit, that they had no right to say any of that to G, and that just because they couldn't keep their husband's didn't mean they had any right to interfere and try to create problems where there weren't any.
At this point, J came home and saw G panicking and immediately reacted. He told our moms to leave, and this time, they left. After they left, it took us almost 2 hours to calm G down from her panic attack, and the whole time, I was boiling with rage over the interaction. After she fell asleep, I told J what had happened. He was completely on my side, and we even discussed banning them from the wedding unless they apologized. G has been far more supportive of us than they have been, and if I had to choose, I would rather have her by my side on my wedding day. Ultimately, we let G decide since she was the one they went after, and she said she would be okay, so they came to the wedding and thankfully didn't mention the necklace at all. However, they told our respective families what happened, and I've been getting texts from family members telling me I went too far in bringing up their divorces, and that I should apologize, especially since the fight was over something as small as a necklace.
I don't think I was wrong to defend G, but I know I tend to overreact in situations where she is involved, and J is as bad as I am. So, AITA?
What are these acronyms?

Anyways my idea was male reader is a student at ua and his father is really abusive and one day his sleeve comes up and aizawa sees it and asks to talk to him after class. And maybe he calls cps. Anyway sorry for asking so late. And could it be a one shot? (I’m so smart I used copy and paste!!)
Sure, request approved.
Aizawa X Abused! Student Male Reader
Tumblr media
This morning wasn't the best morning for you, because you had to deal with your father, who is unfortunately abusive to you before going to school. You aren't the only target however, because your mother has to deal with the constant abuse your father inflicts upon you as well. She tried and still tries her best to get a divorce, but she is under the influence of your father's manipulation to the point where she can't do anything until the right moment.
You didn't talked about this long term situation to anyone, not even to your friends. You try so hard to pretend that you are living a good life, but deep down you just wish you could get out of the hell your father puts you and your mother in.
You were currently in your classroom while completing assignments for your teacher, Aizawa. You were sitting in the front row so it's easy for Aizawa to see what you are doing. You then began to notice that Aizawa is staring right at you, you were confused at first but you soon realized why he was staring at you. One of your sleeves were up, but that wasn't the only thing that worried you, it was the exposed bruises and scars from your father.
Aizawa quickly got up before walking up to you, you covered your bruised arm to hide it from him, but you knew it was too late at this point. "Y/N, do you want to talk about something?" Aizawa asked while whispering, you nodded while looking away.
After that you two walked out of the classroom before Aizawa asked you, "what happened to your arm Y/N?" You looked away before saying, "It's nothing Mr. Aizawa, I tripped while walking to school." He didn't believed this, "I know this isn't true Y/N, please be honest with me." You looked at him while trying to hold back your tears, "it's about my dad," you confessed.
"What about your dad?" Aizawa asked even more concerned, you continued to hold back your tears but couldn't hold back any longer. You mustered up all the courage to answer the question truthfully while crying profusely, "he's abusive, he's the reason why I have all of these bruises and scars on my arm!" You yelled while still crying, Aizawa hugged you tightly before saying, "don't worry Y/N, we'll put an end to this, I promise." You hugged him back before saying, "really?" "Yes Y/N, you don't deserve to have a father like that, you deserve a better one."
After he said that, you felt like all of the weight you've been carrying for most of your life has finally lifted. "Thanks for being honest with me Y/N, I promise I will help you get through this no matter what," Aizawa said. "Okay, thanks for helping me Mr. Aizawa," said while smiling slightly. After that you two went back in the classroom before it ended.
After getting done with school you walked back home only to see police cars in the front yard of your house, you were very confused at first but you realized why they were there. You saw your father being taken to one of the police cars while in handcuffs. After witnessing this scene, you felt free, free from the abuse that you thought would never end.
It didn't took long for you and your mother to finally press charges on him for everything he has done, and the divorce was easy and swift for your mother. Now the pitiful excuse of a father is finally behind bars and will remain there until he dies. Since then you thanked Aizawa for helping you get out of the seemingly neverending hell you've endured for too long.
Years had passed since then, and Aizawa and your mother even started dating before eventually getting married. He may not be your actual father, but he would always prove that he cares for you and your mother and would be there for you when times get hard.

Ch. 2 - Expected
"It was arranged," Seiko's jaw nearly fell to the floor as you finished explaining the circumstances of your first marriage.
You nodded in confirmation. "Unfortunately," you sighed. "I certainly didn't ask for it. But at this point, it seems like I'm going to need to head back to Tokyo to get Gojo to sign the damn thing...again."
Your partner sat back in their seat in thought, waves of understanding flooding their mind. They felt bad for causing such a fuss about it earlier though it was entirely warranted.
"Y/N?" Their voice was soft, their hand reaching forward to touch yours that you had resting on your knee. "What if we made it a thing? We're due for a vacation. I'll come with and we'll enjoy the sights of Tokyo. The whole divorce thing can be just a small part of the trip, no need to over-worry ourselves. We'll get it taken care of."
You thought about it for a moment, searching your mind for any downsides. A few began to populate in your mind, but Seiko was quick to interrupt. "We're getting married this time. Let's take some time to celebrate ourselves, eh?"
"You just want to go to Tokyo, don't you?" You looked at him slyly, a crooked smile on your face. Seiko had be raving about it for the past few months; you had originally (and hesitantly) been planning to have your honeymoon there.
"I do," they admitted, their smile matching yours but their gaze looking away as if they had been 'caught.' They had rarely left the small town you lived in. Seeing Tokyo in real life sounded like a dream to them.
You took a deep breath and let out a sigh. "Alright," you agreed, "let's make it a thing."
Tumblr media
The next thing you knew, you found yourself boarding a bullet train. It was a four and half hour ride to Tokyo from Hokkaido. Unfortunately for you, this meant you had plenty of time to ruminate on your past -- the whole reason for this visit.
The train itself had faded, patterned seats, well worn from years of use. The car was quiet as passengers filed on in order and silently began putting away their luggage. The air itself smelled stale, like any other form of public transport. It was the last place you thought you'd be at that moment.
"Here are our seats," Seiko smiled at you eagerly, tugging along a suitcase.
They stuffed their suitcase in the overhead bin and helped you in getting yours up there as well. With a wordless smile, they offered you the window seat to which you obliged.
"Besides settling into our hotel, what's the first thing you want to do when we get there?" Seiko asked as the two of you now sat in the faded, plush seats of the shinkansen.
You gave them a funny look. Seiko was never one to be overly eager about going anywhere let alone planning activities. "I don't know," you answered as if each word was its own sentence, a funny yet suspicious tone in your voice. "Do you have anything in mind?"
"Nothing in particular," they shrugged, causing you to furrow your brow even further. Why bring it up then?!
You shook your head and ignored your surroundings, opting to put some headphones in and stare out the window as Seiko began scrolling through their phone. Just as expected, with divorce on the brain, your mind went to that place and your heart already...ached.
Tumblr media
The divorce was amicable. It was honestly something that had been a long time coming, almost expected, as Gojo found himself alone in his clan. He didn't seem remarkably upset about being the last of his name, his parents now both passed on -- mother preceding father. The lack of emotion had concerned you but you let it go.
Saying that your marriage didn't have love...that would be a lie and you knew it. The two of you had been childhood friends, closer than anyone could get without being family or, well, being in love. Admitting it was a different story.
Things between you two had begun to distance when Geto entered the picture as soon as you reached high school age. That, and Gojo had started taking on missions with Geto as well -- tough missions that you couldn't be a part of. You found yourself linking up with Shoko Ieiri who also mostly stayed behind, being helpful with her reversed cursed technique.
At the time, you were honestly happy about his absence. With adolescence, his personality had developed beyond repair of arrogant confidence to which he didn't hesitate to irritate you with to no end. He honestly irritated everybody one way or another, and took pleasure in it.
But there was unspoken love that grew during your time as husband and wife. The conflict had once pulled on the strings of your heart, telling you everything you needed to know of your feelings toward the Limitless sorcerer even as he asked for the divorce. But those feelings were a distant memory.
Tumblr media
It was August, a warm, summer evening five years into your facade of a marriage. You found yourself enjoying the nightly air, the distant sound of fireworks from the summer festival humming through your ears.
You were dressed comfortably, getting ready for bed and having a cup of tea to relax. The stars were remarkably bright that night, twinkling in nearly every direction. It was in that moment you were thankful that the Gojo estate was just outside of Tokyo, no bright buildings to prevent such a beautiful sight.
Satoru had just returned from a mission, still dressed in his jujutsu uniform and dark blindfold covering his eyes. You heard him approach from the opening of the shoji screen behind you. You could hear his footsteps approach behind you as you looked up into the cosmos.
"Hey there," he purred, his voice dripping with a teasing tone as it always had as he joined you on the porch. He couldn't resist making light of the situation, even when his emotions were in a flood of conflict. You knew him well enough to expect his cocky demeanor.
You sat cross-legged while he let his legs dangle off the side, using his hands to prop himself up. He looked up with you as he greeted.
"Hi," you answered, your voice quiet after taking a sip from your tea. "How was the mission?" You asked while trying to maintain your composure in the face of his playful attitude.
"Mission? Oh, piece of cake," he said with a smug grin, leaning in closer to you. "But, you know, I'd much rather be dealing with you, Y/N. You're the real challenge." He winked, emphasizing the double meaning of his words.
There was a moment of awkward silence as he lingered longer than he usually would. He took a deep breath in preparation for his next words.
"Y/N..." you looked over at him, your wide, interested gaze causing him to rethink his decision for a split second. He tried to hide the smile that was growing from seeing your doe-eyed face. He decided he needed to hold firm; he had promised himself he'd stop postponing and tell you. "I think that we should...file for divorce."
There it was, the words you were, honestly, waiting to hear. The conflict brewing in your head made your chest hurt. The marriage was a sham. It was to produce an heir, something the two of you never did, for the Gojo clan who was now a team of one. You had to and did accept the fact that this marriage was holding both of you back.
Your silence was irking Satoru as you continued to sip from your tea. He fidgeted eagerly for your response. It was then that you realized he was waiting for something out of you.
"Okay," you responded calmly, holding back the emotions that were threatening to bust forth. "It's not like we love each other."
Satoru, though cocky and confident on the surface, felt a pang of turmoil deep within. He knew what he felt for you, even if he was hesitant to admit it to himself.  The two of you were completely ignorant to one another and beyond saving. This time it was his silence that got you going. You could clearly see he was trying to read your plain expression.
"What? It doesn't have to be that sad," you added, trying to maintain some levity despite the heavy situation.
"What will you do?" Satoru asked you, his future path already decided and very clear.
You thought to yourself for a moment, ignoring the knot that had begun to form in your throat. "Hmm..." you hummed, tilting your head up and away from him to hide your dampened eyes. It was just now settling in that the arrangement was coming to a close. "I wonder what the beach looks like in the snow."
Satoru smiled at you, a mixture of relief and turmoil in his eyes, knowing that he had to let you go. "Ah, Hokkaido," he nodded. "Yeah, it's beautiful."
The two of you sat in continued silence for a few more moments. The booming of the fireworks had long stopped since his arrival. The complete silence a bit jarring from your conversation.
After a while, Satoru leaned over and pressed a lingering kiss to your cheek -- the only 'affection' the two of you allowed yourselves besides in public when necessary. The only time you had ever been intimate with him outside of the occasional kiss was your wedding night, never once doing it again.
Talk about mixed signals, you thought to yourself.
He came to a stand and you looked up at him with a gentle smile before he departed. "I'll be there, any time you need me. You know that, right?"
"Yeah," you nodded once, voice breaking slightly, causing your cheeks to turn red in the dark.
As Satoru left you alone on the porch, your emotions swirled like a turbulent sea. The tears that had begun as a mixture of sorrow and relief now took on a new dimension. There was a sense of betrayal that began to seep into your heart, though you couldn't quite pinpoint its source. You stared out into the night sky, the stars still shining brightly above. The sound of cicadas filled the air, and a gentle breeze rustled the leaves of nearby trees. The beauty of the night was a stark contrast to the turmoil inside you.
The divorce had been inevitable, and you had known that a long time. Yet, hearing those words from Satoru still stung. It was a reminder of just how far the two of you had drifted apart over the years. As you continued to sit there, sipping your tea and gazing at the stars, you couldn't help but wonder what the future held for you. The prospect of being alone was both daunting and liberating. You had spent so long in a marriage of convenience and now you had the opportunity to rediscover yourself.
Tumblr media
Your train pulled into Tokyo station in what felt like the blink of an eye. You were so lost in your thoughts that Seiko had to squeeze your hand to snap you out of your trance.
The bustling station presented a crowd of noise, announcements over the intercom for arrivals and departures, and the feeling of people rushing around you served as a reminder that you were back in the heart of the city where you had grown up.
"Wow," Seiko admired the large station as the two of you guided yourselves off of the train. "Are you ready for this?"
You nodded, your resolve firming up as the two of you began your walk out of the station. The memories of your past with Gojo had left a bitter taste in your mouth, but you were determined to close that chapter of your life for good. The strange sense of betrayal you had felt after that fateful conversation with Gojo had lingered, but it was time to move forward.
As you navigated your way through the station, you couldn't shake the anticipation of seeing your parents again. It had been far too long since you had been home and you knew that your reunion would be emotional. But duty called, and you had brought the divorce papers with you, determined to get Gojo's signature.
The Tokyo streets outside the station were familiar yet different, a testament to the passage of time. Seiko walked beside you, 'oooing' and 'ahhing' at all of the sights. Their presence provided you a bit of stability that grounded you in the present moment. As you hailed a taxi to take you to your hotel, you couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions -- fear, anticipation, and a newfound determination to finally put an end to the chapter of your life that had been marked by a love that had never fully bloomed.

Sunday well spent? (we'll see if this one get's somewhere 🤭)
Taylor
They say staying friends with your ex is a gamble because you’ll always have intimate feelings for them. They never do go away, He’ll agree with that, but didn’t think about that when him and Hayley broke up only because the curly haired man couldn’t imagine life without her after she’d been with him for so long. Meeting someone like Hayley was a privilege and he’s not saying that just because they were once together. What that tiny fire cracker brought to the relationship is what she brought to their friendship before and after they were together. Her excitement for life put a smile on his face when nothing else would, and it continues to do so.
People say watching your ex move on is heartbreaking, and he does agree with this too, but somehow, he’s managed. She’s dated for two years after him. It’s been the same guy. He’s avoided being alone with them, for his own sanity, but slowly the burning jealous monster inside of him began to cool soon enough. It wasn’t an overnight occurrence. It took weeks and months, but that smile on her face made it all better.
Nothing, however, would have prepared him for Hayley’s wedding day, marrying someone else.
She’s always said that she only wants to get married once because it’ll be with the right person. Taylor thought that person would be him, but there she was, looking beautiful in her white dress, wavy hair, and excited smile. She was unable to stand still for the entirety of the ceremony.
He recalls it clearly. She sent him a nervous look and then furrowed her brow when she read the expression on his face. Taylor wouldn’t have been able to hide his hurt. Her green eyes went soft and then her expression turned apologetic. He wanted to tell her that he was happy for her, but standing there in the front row next to her sisters and mother, the curly haired man felt anything but happy. He felt stupid in his suit and tie. Angry at himself for not fighting for her harder two years before. Felt like the love of his life was slipping away and this was his last chance.
Say something, a voice in his head screamed. Say it now!
Taylor opened his mouth. Hayley raised her eyebrows and her eyes widened. He thinks she leaned towards him. But then the music began to play and the priest stepped into the room. He tore his eyes from her before she could, unable to stomach the look she was about to give him. His mouth closed and the ceremony proceeded.
This was a year and a half ago. They say that fifty percent of marriages fail, and most fail in the first two years.
Nothing could have prepared him for Hayley’s wedding, but nothing could have prepared him for Hayley’s divorce either.
Xxxx
November 1
He's been in weird places with Hayley the weirdest hours, but this is a new one. They’re in the bathroom stall, the tiny blonde’s hand hovering over the toilet holding a valuable item that should not seem all that important to her now, but she’s hesitating at the last moment. It was her idea to come here after all, the bathroom of a bar at nearly two in the morning, but neither of them is drunk and everything has come down to this. All the arguments, all the late nights, all the tears. It ends now.
They’re cramped in this stall, barely standing a few inches apart. He has a clear view of Hayley’s face and all the emotions passing over her features. She’s sad, but also determined. Confused, but her mind is set.
Her shoulders drop. “It’s fucking engraved in his grandmother’s handwriting. Jesus Christ.”
Taylor pokes her arm, hard. “Don’t go soft on me now, Williams. His grandma won’t care.”
She gives him a pointed look. “And how do you know that?”
“Her grandson ruined your life. I’m pretty sure she’ll let this one slide, Hayles”
“He didn’t…” Hayley trails off, knowing he’s right. The curly haired man nods at her and raises his eyebrows to acknowledge the ring in her hand. It’s a fancy one, gold all around with a neat engraving inside. She reads it one last time and then takes a deep breath.
“Okay.” She holds the ring over the toilet. In a voice that suggests otherwise she says, “I’m ready.”
He gets into position, holding his finger over the flush tab. “Let’s do this.”
“Let’s count to five.”
“Let’s do three.”
Taylor hears her sharp intake of air. “Okay. Sorry.”
“It’s okay.”
“One, two…three.”
It happens quickly. She drops it and he swiftly flushes it down before she can have second thoughts and then they both stand side by side watching the ring get flushed away. Somewhere behind them, a light bulb goes out and it’s suddenly darker in the stall. When he glances at her, Taylor can barely make out her features, but the hard line of her mouth is clear.
Hayley turns and looks at him when the ring is gone. She suddenly steps forward and holds her arms out, wrapping them around the curly haired man and squeezing until he’s struggling to breathe. Her neck is exposed due to her blonde hair being tied out of the way, and Taylor’s nose presses into the column of her throat.
“This really sucks” She whispers in his ear. He holds her firmly to his chest, gently guiding her head to his shoulder.
“I know” Taylor says, though he really doesn’t. “We can get through this. I’m sure of it.”
He holds her until she releases him and asks to be taken home. Since neither of them is drunk, it’s no question that it’s time to head back. What they came to do has been done, a mission gone not-so-smoothly, but successful in the end nonetheless.
Hayley climbs into his car and sits with her head against the window.
As he’s driving, Taylor glances down at her naked fingers, a weird unsettling feeling in his stomach. She’s too silent for his liking, but the curly haired man can practically hear the relentless thoughts in her head joining in with his. For the first time that night, he regrets making Hayley flush her wedding ring. After all, it was his idea, and now that he ponders over it, worrying if he's offended her, he realizes how dangerous the ground they're treading on is. If she doesn’t say something soon, crack a joke or make a passing comment about how it’s funny that they keep catching red lights, he may have to say something. The worst part is that Taylor doesn’t know what he could even say to make her feel better.
“Hey” she says a little while later, sitting up. Relief floods him immediately. “Can I ask you something?”
“Sure.”
She pauses, still glancing out the window. “When I was getting married, standing up there, do you remember when I looked over at you?”
Discomfort pricks at his neck. “Of course.”
“I think about it a lot. Your face, I mean.” He sees her clearly when they stop at yet another red light and she turns her head towards him. Taylor can’t read her expression well enough though, something that frightens him because he was once able to read her with a single glance and now, doesn’t have the ability. He recalls bragging about it for years, but now is debating just how well he knows her. “I remember it so clearly T. You weren’t crying, but there was so much pain on your face. It’s like I’d just…I don’t know. Like I’d done something horrible to you.”
He doesn’t reply, focused on the red light. He stares at it until his brown eyes water. When the light turns green, Taylor jerks the car into motion. Hayley has to grab onto her arm rest.
“You didn’t say it was me” she continues, “but it felt like it was me. I’d done something, right? And I never realized it. I was so stupid for inviting you to that wedding.”
He swallows, looking down at the cup holder for a bottle of water to relieve his aching throat. “You don’t think I should have been there? On your happiest day?”
“I’d never seen that expression on your face before T. And I haven’t since then. But it was there on my wedding day, and I’ve been thinking about it so much. If I could go back and avoid it, I would.”
Hayley’s normally fast speech is so incredibly slow now, carefully saying each word. “You looked betrayed” she says quietly. “Hurt.”
He brings the car to a stop in front of her house. “I was hurt” Taylor admits, reaching for her trembling hand. There’s no cold metal to prevent his entire hand from touching her. “But you were happy. It was either going to be you or me.”
“But I’ve been thinking” she insists, squeezing his hand back, “about how I’d feel at your wedding. And I’ve only realized now how ugly the feeling would be. We’d been together for so long. We were always planning a wedding.”
He removes his hand from her grip. “I’m not going to sit here and make you feel bad for being happy Hayles. Because you were happy for years. This divorce is making you think of things that could have been, but we can’t go back and fix it, so why bother? You were happy with him. That’s a fact. You married him and that’s a fact. You got divorce. That’s the fact we’re working on digesting. You have too much on your plate to be worrying about me.”
“Do you…” she begins suddenly, “do you ever feel like we…”
Hayley’s green eyes widen and she stops, looking away as if she can’t believe what she was about to say. Her shoulders fall again. “I’m so tired. Goodnight, T. I’ll see you soon?”
Disappointment grows inside him when she doesn’t continue. “Yes” he assures her softly. “I’ll see you.”
The tiny blonde disappears inside of her house. Taylor drives away with an uncomfortable feeling in his stomach. It’s returned more than once since Hayley announced her divorce, and he still doesn’t know how to identify it though it’s been weeks. When the curly haired man gets home, the feeling has settled deep within him and doesn’t show any signs of leaving.

Aladarius:
Ahhhhhh, so many thoughts; where to begin? Well, first off, they were absolutely childhood friends and were practically attached at the hip for years and years. When they finally started dating around mid to late teens, they literally only changed labels and that was it. After a falling out and a messy breakup (and y'know alador getting married to someone else), it seemed like all was lost. after all, they were desperately trying to lessen contact with stark animosity between them. but after the day of unity, everything changed. with character arcs and divorce papers galore and maybe they began on speaking terms. and then friendly terms. and then back to where they were before, bickering like an old married couple. and then *being* an old married couple. yeah. gotta love the magical slime dilfs ◡̈
Huntlow:
They’re just. SO CUTE!! Hunter develops a crush on Willow first. When they first met, he was just looking to recruit more people into the emperor’s coven, and he thought she and some others would be a good fit. They played flyer derby together (a sport in the demon realm), and it was the first time he’d actually been able to have fun with people his age. His original plan was still in play so Willow and the others on the team got taken and put into custody so they could be put into the emperor’s coven. However, at this point Hunter felt incredibly bad. In the end, he broke the rules and got them out of there. He was prepared to be hated, but Willow and the others forgave him. I think at this point is when he started developing feelings for her. This guy, who talks so much people can see through his disguises because of his voice, will get SO quiet and blushy when she’s nearby. He knew there was an illusion when the illusion acted scared and shy because he saw her as the strong, courageous witch she is. She saw his cringe outfits and cosplay and took a picture for her scrapbook and called it a look. She winked at him and he blushed and smiled this goofy smile. When she finally broke down after trying to keep a brave face for the others, he comforted her. I think somewhere around here she started developing feelings too. They held hands!!! She said “you mean a lot to me too”!!! They mean so much to me.
Raeda:
NONBINARY REPRESENTATION DISABILITY REPRESENTATION TOGETHER AND HAPPY IN THE END They met as kids and got along from the start. They barely knew each other and still defied the orders of a representative of the EMPEROR so they wouldn't fight each other (they literally DANCED on the face of authority together. They eventually became lovers and broke up. Many years later found each other again and still loved each other so so much. I'm gonna repeat myself, but a disabled, chronically ill character and a nonbinary carachter have a friends to lovers story with a happy ending in a DISNEY ANIMATION. What else could you want?

hi! i’m not sure if you saw today’s discourse on twitter but people are speculating on the alice, armand and daniel getup. what are your thoughts on this? some people think alice and armand are the same person but others think they are separate people and daniel was married to alice while still being with armand at some point. you’re one of the few people in the fandom whose opinions i actually do trust so i’m interested in reading your take on this lol
Hey!
I... just went and just scrolled over the timeline and I think I saw some of it...
So errr - thank you for your trust, I hope I can live up to it^^ - here's my two cents on this:
I do think Daniel's daughters are real, we only hear of them, but there's the helmets and I do think that the mind-wipe that obviously happened at some point happened a few years after the initial interview. I think that has likely to do with the daughters (the leaked music titles/hints would fit here) and when exactly the first pregnancy occurred.
So in my opinion this leaves us with two distinct possibilities:
Alice is Daniel's first wife. He gets his "shit" together for her, because she got pregnant. He also might confuse some of his memories of her with some of Armand's characteristics (the eyebrow standing in for the contact lenses), or events he experienced with Armand, like that dessert in Paris, because that's how brains work - they try to make sense of "what's there". It's where deja-vus come from, too. Daniel's mind has a lot of things buried it tries to make sense of, so that is nothing too surprising, imho.
Armand is Alice, the name replaced in Daniel's mind, and his daughters are actually by his second wife. That would mean that a lot of Daniel's memories and thoughts are confused though, and I'm not so sure I would lean into that, because I think it is contradicted by his career.
There's also the third possibility that Daniel's daughters (and Alice) actually never existed, and that the few items of them were planted, but that... I think that would be too far out, because Daniel would then have lived an illusory life, with repeated spell-binding and mind-wipes to keep him in it, to write his books as he did, and so on. I don't think that's likely.
Now, personally I think the show will take the route of 1).
If you know the Devil's Minion, Armand hunts Daniel all over the world after Louis attacked him (and in the show after Armand saved his life). In growing consternation and fascination, and an also quite fatal love.
We know that at some point something happens which leads in turn to someone wiping Daniel's mind. We know they kept tabs on him (the tapes turn up in his post box without postage^^), we know they are up to date on his medical issues. Louis refers to Daniel as "our boy" more than once, and Armand looks shocked when Louis quips offers Daniel the Dark Gift.
In the book, Armand only turns Daniel when he is about to die, and I don't think that will change here. If that will mean a combination of TtotBT, or QotD? We'll see. There's a lot of ways they could go.
But back to Daniel and his daughters.
We know these daughters are all grown up (and don't talk to him anymore). We know he is divorced, twice, and has had his ups and downs. These can be traced, the books exist, his career exists. His wife is mentioned in those books.
So there are decades of his life that he lived outside the "hunt" with Armand (and likely, in parts at least, Louis). Decades of his life that exist away from the vampires - and there has to be a reason for that.
For Armand to step back from his fixation on Daniel there had to be a very valid, very deep reason.
Obviously Daniel getting "Alice" pregnant would fit that bill.
Armand had wanted to keep Daniel human, had tried not to turn him. (In vain, ultimately.) Daniel becoming a father... now that would bring in a "reason" outside Armand's own reasoning that he could latch onto.
And, who knows where we are in the story wrt the reconciliation with Marius, maybe it was he who wiped Daniel's mind. But of course Armand is just as capable here.
So I think the hunts, and maybe years of relationship with Armand happened.
And then... something else happened. Maybe the frustration of being denied the blood led to Daniel leaving Armand for periods of time. Maybe he found solace with Alice. Maybe it was an accident. Maybe it was an attempt at normalcy. We'll see.
As a note though, because for me it kinda implied there - Armand... wouldn't mind Daniel being (having sex) with someone else, even if he were there. In the books the famous "cuck chair" is very much real, Armand gets Daniel a lot of people to have sex with.
I do not think they will go the route of Daniel being married while Armand is still "there".
I do however think that Armand is always somewhere close, has maybe interfered in Daniel's life in some aspects, too. Has kept tabs.
So that's my two cents on this :) Hope it made sense - let me know what you think?^^
>> Btw, if you are interested in a fanfiction take that is very well written, and likely very close to what we might see? I can recommend "The Forgotten Years", by @faerywhimsy and @cbrownjc - they did a fantastic job hooking into what we know already and what the books provide and merge it together. I'm reading it now, and I have a blast seeing it all fit^^.

I'm not a writer but I have this Buck/Tommy/Eddie 3 dads fic idea that won't let go of my brain, so I'm just gonna spit it out here:
Chris is in high school now. Eddie gets a call from the school that Chris is in trouble and a parent needs to come meet with the principle. They're all off work, so they all go to the school. Hilarity ensues.
Principal: so which one of you is Chris's dad?
Eddie: I'm his dad, Buck is his other dad, and Tommy is his stepdad.
Principal: Ah, child of divorce. Which one of you is married to Chris's mom?
Eddie: oh my wife died when Chris was young.
P: So Chris has no mom?
E: well Carla has been his nanny for years, she can stay with him overnight if we're all working. Or my Tia Pepa.
B: or my sister Maddie
(P glances at Tommy)
T: oh I don't have any family here, but if we're just listing strong positive female role models there's...
(all 3 begin to tell P about Hen, Karen, Athena, etc)
P: I'm sorry, what is that you do that would keep you away from home so much?
E: oh we're all firefighters
T: I'm also a helicopter pilot
P: ok, so Chris has 3 gay firefighter dad's-
B: umm, actually I'm bisexual
E: I'm demisexual
(P once again looks to T for his response)
T: me? Oh yeah, I'm gay.
P: ok... I think I've got the picture here.
E: now that that's out of the way, why are we here?
P, sighing heavily: Chris hit a kid with his crutch for "being homophobic"
Chris is called into the office and explains that Mark was saying nasty things to Marie and her trans gf, so he whacked him in the shin.
E: Chris, you know that was wrong.
C: I know! That's why I hit him!
At this point they can barely keep from laughing.
T: You know, we're also both medics. We could take a look at his leg if you like. Unless you think he might be scared of the big gay firefighter.
P, head in hands: No. Just... just go. Make sure it doesn't happen again.
E: Chris, we'll discuss your punishment when we get home.
Halfway down the hall:
C: Am I really getting punished for this?
E: No bud, you're not.
B: No, you're getting ice cream.
T: No. No ice cream.
All stop to stare at him. Tommy puts his hand on Chris's shoulder and leans down to eye level.
T: Chris. You didn't earn ice cream...
They're all holding their breathe cuz Tommy looks really serious.
T: You earned Cheesecake Factory buddy.
And scene.

Clueless Teens all grown up headcanons
I guess technically as the author I could declare this all fic canon but I think it's more fun to leave it open-ended so people can imagine their own things. Still, this is what I was picturing for them in the future. (Actually, for some of the couples, the kids I imagined for them got recycled over to my single parents au. Not Eremika's kids, but the other ones for the most part.)
Historia and Ymir have one daughter who they spoil the fuck out of. They also plan elaborate vow renewals approximately whenever they feel like it. When I was considering writing a one shot of them all grown up it was going to be everyone gathered at one of Yumihisu's destination vow renewal ceremonies.
Reibert. Oh gosh. They were going to "no homo" their way right to the altar and be very happy together.
Connie. He does not end up with Mina. I was of two minds with him: Either he is trying to find a milf to settle down with, or he is married to Sasha's cousin and they are struggling with fertility so he's the cool uncle with all the dogs and the secret pain of wishing they could have a child. I don't know why this is the case. It's just what I feel. Connie would be pretty much the ideal stepdad, imo.
Nicosasha. Again, I was of two minds! It's not realistic to have this many high school couples end up together in long term relationships/ marriages, but I also don't want to make anyone break up. Still, I can see Sasha and Nico having some kind of separation for a few years. Maybe getting married and then divorced and then marrying each other again ten years later or some shit. Why? I don't know. They are clearly very much in love, but that doesn't always last. Still, out of everyone I can see Sashe remarrying her first husband, with maybe a second husband in between. Greedy.
Aruani. These two go on their little date after Armin graduates and then proceed to not get together for another four years. Like, they still talk all the time and probably hook up when they see each other but they're like, "Meh, let's not do long distance. Let's keep it casual and if we still want to be together after college, we'll move in together immediately." It works for them and they eventually have a little boy, but Eremika are absolutely scandalized because they could never be so hands off.
Eremika. As you know, they have four kids super close in age. Mikasa makes a living streaming (she's the breadwinner. She's got that Azumabito business sense and Ackerman gaming skill) and Eren does civil rights law. So they have a pretty comfortable life and they spend a lot of time with their families. Eren walks around shirtless a lot, which is very popular on Mikasa's streams and he likes to come up and read the chats while she plays. If anyone tries to hit on her or says something sexual, he immediately loses his shit and starts threatening to find them and kick their asses. Mikasa is very pleased when she finally makes enough money to be able offer to fund Armin's dreams of opening a comics and games shop.
Pokkopiku. I think they also are the type to be parents to an only child. I'm thinking a girl. Pieck is very busy with her journalism career and Porco is living the stay at home dad dream. Maybe he becomes an influencer. He definitely keeps taking photos at every opportunity and he's got a bit of an online following. I think he might manage to book some gallery shows. When their daughter gets older he might get back into doing photojournalism again, and eventually they become a journalistic team once more, kind of like when they were in high school except this time with globe-hopping. I could see Pieck deciding to homeschool their kid so the whole family could go on assignments with her. In single parents au, I gave Porco twins, though (he's only in a couple scenes and we never meet his family, but he mentions them), and so I also kind of like the idea of Clueless Teens Pokkopiku having boy/girl twins. The point is, Pieck is willing to delay her career advancement long enough for one pregnancy and no more than that, so if they're going to have more than one kid, it has to be a multiple birth.
Am I forgetting anyone? I feel like I'm leaving someone out. I don't know! It's getting late and I have a few more things I want to work on before I go to be, so let me know who- Jeanmarco.
8. I don't really know if I think Jean and Marco end up together. I don't think they ever admit they have any kind of romantic feelings for each other because Jean is not totally comfortable with admitting to being bi at this juncture in time. I think they stay friends but Marco eventually moves on with a nice guy and Jean meets a nice woman who didn't know what a skeeze he was in high school and settles down with her and then eventually comes out when he's older and it's less taboo. He also does not revert back to being a creep.
Okay, now I think that's everyone. But let me know if I left anyone important to you out!

In my case, I really liked last nights episode, I think it was funny and with a couple of touching moments between Tommy and Buck. At the cemetery, the way Buck looked at him saying “people is what make life worth living”, it felt like setting them as long term… and I think it’s time for Buck to get settled (and in my opinion, at this point, buddie is not happening, with or without Tommy)
But then I’ve read OS interviews and I got scared about them possibly breaking up… 😂
I’ve tried to think about what could Buck figure out about Tommy’s past that makes him reevaluate their relationship… and I’m out of good ideas…
What do you think?
Oh, I absolutely caught that look while giving that line of dialogue at the cemetery. And yes, I do think it could definitely be seen as setting up something long term. Honestly, that scene is when I think they were at their best this episode. I know there is a lot to be said about the other scenes, and they have some great moments, but during the cemetery scene is when I think they felt the most at ease with each other, if that makes sense? Maybe because Buck literally wasn't as ease for the rest of the episode until that. 🤭
I absolutely agree that Buck needs to have that long term relationship where he's loved, taken care of, and happy. He deserves that.
Now, the articles...yeah, I read those too and panicked at first as well, but the thing you have to remember is that, truthfully and logically, no one knows what's gonna happen in the grand scheme of this series until the end credits roll on the final episode. Any one of the actors might need to or want to leave the show. Theoretically, any of the established, married couples might not even be together at the end of it all. (However, I really hope they are. I'm not wanting any of them to divorce.)
All Oliver was saying was he doesn't know what the end game is. He has to be noncommittal when talking about things like this, as he can't give anything away and can't set anything in stone that he doesn't even know.
And the other comment he made, we'll...he was just more so saying "if (this thing) were to ever happen, I'd like to maybe see (this other thing) play out." He's not saying it will, or that he even wants it to. He was just saying that if Buck were to ever find himself single (which, as much as we don't want that, it is and will always be something that is still possible for as long as the show is on the air) it might be fun to have Lucy take him to a gay club or something. (Thanks for confirming my personal head canon that Lucy is bi, whether you meant to or not.🤭)
Buddie....well, the thing people need to remember is that even if Buck were to be single, that does not automatically equate to buddie happening. Why? Well, for starters Eddie is straight and needs a lot of therapy before he can be a good partner to anyone. If there was ever a storyline that could be carried out in a natural way that made sense to the character, I wouldn't mind queer Eddie. But as it is, Ryan has declared multiple times that Eddie is straight and if that were to ever change in canon...I honestly don't think he'd be a good match for Buck. I think that one would be a dumpster fire, if you truly sit back and look and their personalities on screen and away from the page of AO3.

in follow up to my timeline (for those who haven't seen it / want to reference: https://www.tumblr.com/hartz-penny/705740236884508672/after-celinas-its-2022-comment-in-510-i), i wanted to jot down some info on the relationships in relation to it!
WOPEZ:
Met in 1.10 "Flesh and Blood" and agree to go out by the end of the episode, by my timeline (1.01 being ~ March 2019 and 1.20 being 6 months later aka ~ September 2019), let's say this is June 2019 since its half way through the season
They break up briefly between 1.12 and are back together by 1.18, they fight in 1.20 but are firmly together by episode's end, again per my timeline this is approx. Sept 2019
They have moved in together as of 2.01 which is still ~ Sept 2019
Wesley is stabbed in 2.06 "Fallout" which we'll assume is Oct / Nov 2019
Wesley proposes - which Angela accepts - in 2.16 "The Overnight", as this is after DOD (09Dec2019) but before 2.20 (the rookies' "one month push") we can guess this is Jan or Feb 2020; they have been together for about 7-8 months total (including their breakup)
Wesley discovers Angela is pregnant in 3.01 "Consequences" by finding her pregnancy test, I'm going to assume Angela was between 3-7 weeks pregnant - wide range I know but I can't imagine her being any more far along than that and *not* have taken a test prior - here which is approx March 2020
Season 3 takes place over the course of two months since it begins right when the "one month push" begins, Lucy and Jackson graduate to P2 in 3.14 and Nolan becomes a P2 in 4.01 after completing his one month extension
This would mean that Wopez's first attempt at a wedding in 3.14 takes place in May 2020, they have been together for about 11 months; Angela is also kidnapped by La Fiera in this episode
Jackson "Jack" Lopex-Evers is born after the 3 month time jump that happens at the end of 4.01, putting his DOB in approx. Aug 2020
Wopez get married offscreen between 4.01 and 4.02 - which would still be Aug 2020, they have been together for just over a year
5.10 is apparently "2022" which per my timeline is Jan 2022
TL;DR Wopez has been together for 2 and a half years as of 5.10
HARRAY / JYLA (Nyla x James):
Met in 3.02 "In Justice" which takes place in approx March 2020
Had their sparring class in 3.11 "New Blood" which we'll say is when they first get involved, this in approx. April 2020
Nyla is dating both James and that hot dad in 4.03 "In The Line of Fire" and by the end of the episode is dating just James, this is approx. Sep 2020
Nyla sleeps with Donovan in 4.05 "A.C.H" (31Oct2020)
In 4.11 "End Game", Nyla discovers she is 6 weeks pregnant - I assume this to be mid-Dec 2020 - at this point Nyla and James have been dating for 8 months, exclusive for 3 months
Nyla and James get married in 4.18 "Backstabbers" - approx. Apr 2021; they have been dating 12 months, together exclusively for 7 months
Leah Harper-Murray is born in 5.02 "Labor Day" which takes place in ~ Jun / Jul 2021
As of 5.10 "The List", Leah is 5 months old and per Celina it is "2022", most likely January
TL;DR Jyla has been together for a year and a half as of 5.10
I'm not doing John and Bailey because I do not care about them.
CHENFORD:
Get ready folks because we'll cover a lot!
1.01 "Pilot" - estimated Mar 2019 per my timeline, "Bradford, you get our hotshot", Tim is assigned Lucy as his rookie
Tim & Isabel
In 1.01 it's revealed that Tim hasn't seen Isabel in a year
Tim and Isabel met as rookies, and Lucy states in 2.08 "Clean Cut" that Tim is a 12-year veteran; as S2 takes place from month 6 to month 12 of Lucy's rookie year, we can estimate that Tim and Isabel were together for about 11 years at the time of their divorce, if 2.08 takes place in Oct / Nov 2019 (it occurs between 2.01 which is approx. Sep 2019 and 2.11 which is established 09Dec2019), Tim and Isabel met (and were rookies in) 2007
We don't know what year Tim and Isabel were married
Based on the LAPD guidelines, rookies become P2s after their 13-month probationary period, become P3s after 3 years as a P2 - based on this Tim and Isabel would've reached this point in 2011
I can't remember where I saw it, but I believe to test out of P3, you need to have put in 1 year, and since Isabel was a UC in Narcotics, we can assume she was a Detective I, and let's say it took her 3-4 years to get there from P3 since Armstrong said he was the fastest to get to detective and it took him 4 years (I'm assuming he meant from P2 to Detective I) bringing us to 2014-2015
Let's say Isabel started the addiction spiral around 2016-2017 since Tim ignored it for a while at first and she was probably able to hide it for a bit before it got to the point where Tim was starting to pick up and thought she was having an affair and that Isabel left around late 2017 / early 2018 to match the "I haven't seen her in a year" of 1.01
Isabel is shot in the head in 1.08 "Time of Death" by Vance
Tim and Isabel agree to divorce in 1.12 "Heartbreak" which apparently is Valentine's Day but I choose to ignore bc Feb 2019 ruins my entire timeline and doesn't make sense with any other established date so we're going to say that its 3-4 months into Lucy's rookie year and is May-June 2019 (we don't know when the divorce is finalized specifically but Lucy says "since the divorce" in 2.03 "The Bet", which is approx. Sep / Oct 2019)
Lucy and Nolan 🤮
Are "together" as of 1.01, and have been dating / sleeping together / literally doing the nasty bc seriously I hate them together so much since the academy
Based on how casual they're both treating it, lets say its been going on for 3 months as of 1.01
They break up in 1.04 "The Switch", sleep together again in 1.08 "Time of Death" and end it for good (thank GOD) in 1.09 "Standoff" - this is approx. April / May 2019, putting their entire length of relationship at 6 months
Tim and Rachel
Set up on a date by Lucy in 2.03 "The Bet" - approx. Sept / Oct 2019
Tim considers moving to NYC with Rachel in 2.19 "The Q Word" but ultimately does not, they do not break up - approx. Mar 2020
Tim and Rachel break up offscreen at some point in S3, definitely before Angela's wedding when Tim openly checks Lucy out and S3 is 2 months long, so the max length of Tim & Rachel's relationship is 7 months
Lucy and Emmett
Meet in 2.17 "Control" and start dating despite Tim's belief that Lucy can do better - approx. Feb / Mar 2020
Break up in 3.08 "Bad Blood", as this is right before Lucy's final shift as a rookie (which is approx. Apr 2020), we'll say that they break up in Mar / Apr 2020; their relationship is about 2 months long
Tim and Ashley
Meet in 4.06 "Poetic Justice" and begin officially dating between here and 4.08 "Hit and Run" as Tim tells Genny that he is not single - approx. Nov 2020
Are planning a trip to Hawaii in 4.21 "Mother's Day" in which Lucy initially assumes Tim is going to propose, Tim & Ashley have been together for about 6 months at this point as it is May 2021; Tim finds out Ashley does not want marriage or children - a thing he very much does want - and for some reason stays in this "magic" relationship (srsly Timothy???)
Finally break up in 5.05 "The Fugitive" literally 10 seconds after Tim gets out of SPINAL SURGERY because Ashley remembered that Tim is a cop and being a cop is dangerous and I know Tim is pretty but like what did you expect? Just because he was telling your dad to retire meant he secretly wanted to too? This is late October 2021 as its right before 5.06 which is confirmed Halloween
Total length of relationship: ALMOST A GD YEAR...
Lucy and Chris
Meet in 4.10 "Heart Beat" and they are not fans of each other
Set up on a double date with Tim and Ashley by Tim in 4.12 "The Knock"; have their first real date at the end of the episode - approx. Dec 2020 / Jan 2021
Chris calls Lucy his girlfriend in 4.15 "Hit List", Lucy defines Chris as her "work in progress" - approx. Mar 2021
Chris is targeted by Rosalind in 5.01 "Double Down" (and sadly survives) - approx Jun 2021
After Chris gets Tim to convince Lucy to go to UC school, they are still together when Lucy comes back in 5.03 "Dye Hard", ~ Aug / Sep 2021
Chris asks Lucy to move in / buy a house together in 5.08 "The Collar" she is very on the fence, Lucy has not said I love you but Chris has because they "haven't been together that long" (it's been almost a year Lucy, he's just not Tim!!); Lucy and Tim confess their feelings after Tim confronts Lucy about staying in the relationship because its safe, Lucy decides to break up with Chris
Lucy and Chris finally break up in 5.09 "Take Back" ~ Dec 2021, making their total length of relationship between 11-12 months
BACK TO LUCY AND TIM:
Time as TO & Rookie: 13 months (1.01 - 3.14)
Time as Sergeant & Sergeant's Aide: ~ 9 months (4.04 - 5.02) [~ Oct 2020 to Jun / Jul 2021]
Length of time to first kiss: 2 years, 1 month (4.22)
Length of time to feelings confession: 2 years, 6 months (5.08)
Length of time to first date & first official kiss: 2 years, 7 months (5.10)
