Your ask reminded me of a song that I’d often connect to Ben 10 - Alien Boy by Oliver Tree, if you’ll allow me to exchange songs with you - and the lyrics always made me think specifically about omnivoracious, but “I’m an alien among the human beings” stood out to me. 29. Which fic would you most like to have fan art done for?

I would say the TTEOE Series, but I've done so much art for that series myself, as have some wonderful readers, so I feel like it gets enough attention (although, if anyone reading this wants to do more I will literally never not be grateful and honoured by it).

My ACTUAL answer to this question would probably be Real Christmas, if for no other reason than I wrote it 11 years ago and I still think it's cute. It's the cheesiest, hokiest thing I've ever written and there are so many moments between Dean and Cas in that story that would make really good fanart imo. I am SO out of touch with the spn fandom and I have been for years but I still have a soft spot for destiel lol.

30. Which fic would you most like to have its own fanfic written for?

Oh I LOVE this question. I don't even know how to answer it. Fanart for fics is so good but there's just something otherworldly about the idea of someone writing fanfic for a fanfic I wrote. I think that might fix me tbh. In this case I am gonna go with the TTEOE Series becauce I myself already have little spin-offs etc. in my future plans and I think it's the fic that has the most potential in terms of how I've fleshed out the world and the characters. So that would be incredible.

I think people watch those things as punishment because they don't have the means, time, extra money, etc, to do anything meaningful to help. So at least they can acknowledge and bear witness to the horror, even if they're not able to actually help.

right but like. "at least they can do this" makes it sound like doing that is actually materially useful, and i'm not convinced it is. i think in many cases it is only increasing the number of people suffering in the world. i agree that people are doing it because they feel powerless in other regards but in the majority of cases i think it's harming more than helping
