thanks to amazing mutual's most recent fic,,,, i've had an epiphany ✨✨✨ i'm a fake mttpoly fan i dont think they'd ever love each other ✨✨ OK WELL MAYBE NOT FAKE i just dont think they'd ever fall in love
maybe its tooootally just me being unaware but i see no way how they could ever come to LOVE eachother. in anyway shape or form. is it too early for me to properly string together my thoughts perhaps but EVEN AFTER YEARS OF BEING TOGETHER i dont see how they could find something to truly LOVE in the other 2. like,,,, killer's got his whole. uhhh. emotionally repressed thing. and dust and horror have their own prejudices against the other 2. even if theyre given time to settle their differences and come to terms (somewhat) with their own issues and the other two's personalities/history that bother them i still just dont think theres any potential for....... love?????? am i understandable
the closest thing i could see is maybe care?? attachment??? maybe these are the same words some would use to describe love itself but in the context of the trio i feel like its different. i cant explain myself that well here but i could see them finding rational reasons to appreciate the others and then eventually that turns into genuine care. but not love,,,,, never love for them,,,,,
#i'm biased i view horror as aromatic that immediately throws romantic love out of the equation anyways LMAO#this is the most ace and potentially aro thing i've ever posted 💀#its just not possible to me!!!! first they have to learn how to love themselves before even ATTEMPTING to love each other!!!#could it be some weird other form of love?? maybe??? but they'd never even call it love anyways#or realize it. or recognize it. or literally even do anything to prove it or back the so called love up#its just not possible for me.......... to summarize: mttpoly weird qpr is the only way i see then#unless we're talking fanon in which GO WILD I LOVE FANON but man.... this is my interpretation#as a semi canonish probably not mtt fan who also dabbles in mttpoly#part of mttpoly nation but half of my posts arent even of them as poly 😒😒😒#i feel like it was blatantly obvious anyways that i saw them as sone sort of qpr. or SOMETHING along the sorts that cant be labeled#all of my posts could totally be seen as not poly or poly. and eitherway i never mention any sort of love between them anyways lul#lets see what untitled29876011111 has to say about this post when they see it :3#what-have-i-unleashed making me come to realizations. i love seeing different interpretations so i can reflect on my own✨✨✨✨✨#tricule rant

mouthwashing post. jimmy is a raging narcissist and im tired of people trying to give him benefit of the doubt. his inability to see two feet beyond what immediately concerns him dooms everyone on the tulpar, and even in the end, he only really cares about himself.
big list of all his narcisstic bullshit below bc im here to motherfucking prove it (mouthwashing spoilers of course)
most obviously: everything is a personal attack on him. EVERYTHING. you can see it most clearly at the birthday party; while everyone else is understandably freaking out about being laid off, jimmy starts telling curly off and insulting both him and everyone else at the table, as if being laid off is a personal attack on jimmy specifically. it doesn’t matter that anya has nothing to go back to, that swansea’s life is thrown away- jimmy is the ONLY victim here, apparently. curly is personally responsible for getting laid off, in his eyes.
i don’t actually know the words for this but the way he’s constantly going “i have to do EVERYTHING around here”- again, feeling like its a personal attack to be asked anything at all. anya asks him to take care of curly because her entire fucking life is falling apart, its her end of days, but somehow shes the villain for struggling.
also the general antagonization of anya. she’s extremely competent for the hand she was dealt! shes too poor to attend med school yet shes very knoqledgable in medication and wound care! and yeah no shit shes struggling now, someone she cared deeply about is suffering immensely and now the ship is being “run” by a man who assaulted her. no fucking shit shes breaking down. but jimmy makes it clear time and time again that this is somehow her fault, all this shit of “shouldn’t nurses EARN their titles?” while she’s having a mental breakdown.
similarly, swansea being villainized for holding the cryopod for daisuke and killing him. like, i get it, but jimmy’s whole thing of saying he can fix daisuke is… c’mon man. he’s a hero to himself, he “always” fixes things the same way he “fixed” the ship, and he will fix daisuke and claim heroism even though it’s very clear nothing else can be done for him.
“someday you’ll thank me” while forcing curly to eat his own leg. the incredible confidence that he is in the right even when literally torturing someone.
MOST IMPORTANTLY: the final scene with curly burning. jimmy doesn’t earnestly believe he has anything to be sorry for. even when apologizing to curly he says “we can BOTH be heroes!” despite everything, he still thinks he’s in the right. he STILL thinks he’s a hero, because he’s right, he’s ALWAYS right, surely. he can apologize and grovel all he wants but in the end he still thinks he’s the hero of this story; he doesn’t genuinely think he has anything to right, he’s only doing this to be freed of consequence. and/or believes a simple “sorry” is enough, that it can fix completely ruining the lives of four people with his own inferiority complex.
i do think the choice to put curly in the pod instead of himself is the only time he recognizes his own guilt, if any. maybe it’s realizing that he DOES need something more than a simple “sorry” to even begin to try to fix things, maybe it’s that he thinks this will cement him even further as a hero. even then, does this fix anything? all it’s doing is making curly suffer more. is this actually a good thing?
to him, he’s the hero here. he always is. crashing the ship is a heroic thing, putting all his crewmates through hell is a heroic thing. all because something nobody can control is somehow a personal attack on jimmy.
not to mention all the “hallucinations” he has- it’s what he thinks should happen, it’s what he wants to hear. curly still calling him a friend, the dead corpses of his crewmates praising him, even in the final cutscene with curly burning where he says “no, YOU take the pod”. none of it’s real. it’s just what jimmy thinks is “right”. despite everything, he thinks everyone should thank and praise him, because he can do no wrong.
conclusion: jimmy is a narcisstic piece of shit.
#mouthwashing#mouthwashing game#sorry not sorry for being so incredibly fucking passionate abt this#its partially bc. if im being real! i see a lot of my narcisstic mother in jimmy. like almost one to one#so im really really angry abt him.

♫ “I wasn't thinking when I told you to stay.” Love Can Kill by Lennon Stella
With Robb, it's all about the body language. And boy, he's horrible at hiding it.
He can have a hard time placing the feeling as jealousy. He was raised to be honorable. But feelings of...neglect run deep with him. Oldest child syndrome, if you will.
Which is why his jealousy most likely manifests in subdued, quiet behavior. Part of him will recognize he's being ridiculous, while another part of him is silently fuming. Fists clenched, he'll send you an intense stare as he watches you converse with another lord.
His emotions leak through his expressions. When he catches you staring back, his gaze will flit down, and he'll wait patiently for you're time. Or...in most cases...he'll march right up, placing himself between you and the man. Maybe a small, "I'll take it from here." If the lord is offering to help you with something.
A subtle touch on the small of your back. It's a small claim, a subtle "back-off."
A lot of his jealousy also transforms into protectiveness more than anything. He'll offer to accompany reader to places he wouldn't normally be concerned about. He's close by, and he's reminding her wordlessly, he's watching over her and any threat.
Finally, when you two are alone, will he drop down that guard of his. Covering up that burning pit inside him with casual humor, you can sense the underlaying seriousness of his voice in his light teases.
"You’re quite popular these days. Should I be worried that I’m not your only admirer?"
He certainly beds you, having something to prove. And only afterwards when you are in his arms, sweaty and warm from the candlelight, wrapped in furs...will he calm down.
"It’s not that I don’t trust you… It’s them I don’t trust. Some men don’t know how to keep their place." He'll whisper, holding onto you firmly.

♫ “You don't know that you're in over your head.” Love Can Kill by Lennon Stella
Jaime's jealousy is burning. It's simply the way he was raised. And gods, you are his.
Numerous sarcastic remarks flow between the two of you and the man who he believes has essentially stolen your affections. His taunts are offhand, dry remarks, often directed towards his "opponent" or even you, if he's feeling bitter enough.
"I didn’t realize he was such a comedian. Maybe I should ask him for pointers." He'll say, with that sarcastic drawl. "If I didn’t know better, I’d say you were trying to make me jealous. Not that it would work, of course." He chuckles, but his gaze is sharp.
Depending on the offense, Jaime's reactions differ. If you simply have an admirer, a few...well chosen words are directed towards them. His confidence allows him to not be too bothered. Maybe standing closer, clearly showing off to whatever poor soul thought they had a shot with you.
It's a different story if you are friends with the person involved, or entertain their advances even mildly or jokingly.
That's when the uncharacteristic tension comes out, full of small twitches in his jaw and curt, smug responses. His visible annoyance is uncontrolled.
We saw how he was with Loras when it came to Cersei. If he feels truly threatened, whether it's by another pretty boy, or just someone he feels could...hypothetically...have the upper hand...He'll corner them when you're off somewhere else. And give a small warning, from the Kingslayer himself.
"You seem to have forgotten who you're dealing with, so let me remind you." He leans in just close enough for his words to sink in. "Whatever you think you might be to her… you’re not. Let’s keep it that way, hm? I'd hate to see you make any...lasting mistakes."

♫ “It was just too hard to push you away.” Love Can Kill by Lennon Stella
Margaery is smart with her feelings. She knows how to play the game, and play it well. Instead of showing her jealousy openly, she's a touch more composed than most characters on this list.
She recognizes just how precious you are, and admires that. She doesn't necessarily blame others when they become...attached to you.
When jealousy arises, she views it more as a small problem in need of being handled. And she knows how to handle things.
She embraces the graceful competition, subtly outshining anyone who seems to get in the way of her goals. Her goal being you're affection, of course. You're already hers, and she sees no problem in working to keep it that way.
This appears in gestures of strategic sweetness to keep you close, perhaps wearing your favorite gowns on her, and offering that charming smirk. She doesn't shy away from manipulating you, just a teeny bit.
"They’re certainly captivated by you. I suppose I’ll have to work harder to keep your attention." She teases, "Besides, who could ever compare to us?"
Her words carry a playful undertone, but she makes her point clear. Laughing charmingly, threading her arm through yours.
Very rarely does she think she's in any serious danger. She prides herself on being yours and knowing how to keep you on a tight leash. Though...if she feels genuinely worried, she expresses her feelings quite clearly but still gently. She reminds her lover of their shared goals, and all that they've built together.
"My, you do attract admirers easily, don’t you? I’ll have to start guarding you more closely." She gives you a playful look, though her touch on your arm will linger just a bit longer than usual.

♫ “Let me go, but you won't let me go.” Love Can Kill by Lennon Stella
Oberyn doesn't feel insecure. How could he? He knows, deep down, that you're his. Jealousy isn't something he confines himself too, he views it as an ugly emotion, capable of getting rid of the true wonders love has to offer.
That being said...he is only a man. And he is fiercely protective. If anyone were to flirt with you and you were clearly uninterested, it would be a swift death, or at the very least, he'd make his point clear with a blow or two and a cutting edge remark. Especially if they are a Lannister. He enjoys you being admired, but only to a certain extent.
"Your efforts are wasted, they’re far too captivating for someone like you. I’d suggest you find someone more... suited to your charms." He begins, hand itching for his spear, "Consider this your first and last warning."
Yeah, he means business.
Most of the time, he spins the situation to show-off. Showcase his own passion and devotion to you. If it's simply a friend of yours, he may even offer them to join in. If not, he'll spend the entire night practically worshipping you, promising that he's the only one who could ever make you feel like this.
Similarly to Margaery, he teases you lightly.
"You have a lovely laugh. But I must admit, it’s much better when it’s for me alone."
Oberyn doesn't shy away from PDA either. It's that assertive reclaiming he seems to favor, pulling you close, whispering something that affirms your affections for each other. He'll revel when he watches the other mans face fall in dismay.
He might get cocky, and push it a bit far. By the time he's done, the 'competition' will be utterly humiliated and embarrassed. He'll be smirking at his own quips.
"I assure you, my friend, my lover favors...more substantial things." He motions to the poor mans crotch.
You're gonna have to give him a slap on the arm.
𝐶𝐸𝑅𝑆𝐸𝐼 𝐿𝐴𝑁𝑁𝐼𝑆𝑇𝐸𝑅
♫ “Consequence of loving me can be cruel.” Love Can Kill by Lennon Stella
Cersei's jealousy is intense and multifaceted, to say the least. It manifests in a mix of cold fury and harsh threats, channeling that anger into much more controlling behavior.
Deep down, she is terribly insecure. Once another man or woman as your attention, and she catches on, she's coolly lashing out. And she catches on quickly.
At first she may appear indifferent, but if you look close enough, you can see the subtly giveaways. The way her lip curls, her nostrils flare, and her knuckles go white gripping her wine chalice.
If you're the first one to confront her, and attempt to reassure her, you'll save yourself some trouble down the line. Guaranteed, she'll deny it, but still make a passive-aggressive remark here and there. But eventually she'll calm down, edges softening.
That rare moment of vulnerability that you're not sure is manipulation or not. She'll look towards the ground, running her thumb over you're hand on her cheek. She'll sit on the edge of her bed, jaw clenched.
Now, it's a whole different story if you don't catch on to the early signs. If you don't manage to reassure or call her out in time, that jealousy implodes.
She may confront you first, anger bleeding through her. She runs on it. She may even threaten you, oblivious to the potential consequences her words might have.
“You think you can charm your way into my affections by paying attention to that little fool?" She's standing up, loathing distorting her features. Her voice raises. "Perhaps I should throw a feast in her honor. Let’s see how charming she is when surrounded by my people."
It's threats and threats and more and more threats...which can be especially worrying if the person she's jealous of is a friend of yours.
Almost every scenario ends with you having to comfort her, treading carefully with the words you say.
Now, when it comes to confronting the competition, she makes it very clear. Though, these threats are often much more impulsive. A swig of wine, and she gracefully moves towards them when you're out of sight.
A faux compliment or two, before she whispers, close.
“You’ll find that my guards are quite loyal to me. A simple command, and they’ll ensure you never breathe the same air as her again.”
It only makes her feel a bit better. But, regardless, she's smiling smugly, feeling proud of herself when the offenders face turns white.
𝐽𝛰𝐹𝐹𝑅𝐸𝑌 𝐵𝐴𝑅𝐴𝑇𝐻𝐸𝛰𝑁
♫ “Too much love can kill.” Love Can Kill by Lennon Stella
Oh, Joffrey. I'm obsessed with him.
Yeah. He has the worst jealousy issues out of everyone on this list. It's baaaaad. It's a cocktail of insecurity, possessiveness, and entitlement. As someone who has been raised to believe he is above others, and has been coddled his entire life...it infuriates him.
It's the same feeling you get as a child, when someone steals one of your toys. You belong to him. He never grew out of that mentality, or that feeling.
Be prepared for plentiful outbursts of anger. He's a tantrum personified, especially if he feels disrespected. Insecurity grips him tight and refuses to let up until he's either been heavily reassured...or the other person is... taken care of.
And even then, after reassuring him for hours, it may not be enough. You know how he hired a knight to take out Tyrion in the Battle of Blackwater? Yeah. That person will be paid a little 'visit.'
When reassuring him, similar to Cersei, you really have to be careful what you say, or it might make the situation even worse. At that point, he's seeing red.
"I’m the king! You should be grateful for my attention, not chasing after scraps!" He's huffing, pointing to himself as his breathing increases. He'll look at you with an ice cold glare, nose wrinkled in distaste.
He might even force his hand around your face, harshly grabbing you. He looks dead into your eyes, voice clear and low. "You're mine. You belong to me." He's seething.
If he notices you simply looking at anyone else too long, he'll feel beyond threatened in both his masculinity and position as king. Especially if you laugh at another mans jokes, or simply attempt to be friendly with a commoner or lord.
"What’s so amusing? You’d think you’d find better entertainment than that fool." He mutters under his breath harshly, bad habit of picking at his fingers. He'll shuffle uncomfortably. He'll look to you expecting agreeance. It's 100% that mentality of 'Friends? You don't need friends. You have me.'
Yeah, he keeps the very blunt insults coming. Petulant name calling is not above him. Includes, but is not limited too, "Degenerates, Idiots, Commoners, Peasants, or Cretins" which he may describe as being "Stupid, Disgusting, Repellent, Sickening, or Revolting." He's got a LOT of those angry remarks in the bank.
While he may not directly confront the offender, (he doesn't have time for idle threats.) He has his own ways of dealing with them. And that is a public humiliation ritual, making a mockery of any rival. And if they disobey ANY whim of his, they're gone. That one scene with Tyrion at his wedding? That "Kneel!"? He's commanding the same of any man unlucky enough to have threatened his claim on you. Oh, and they're going to be his cupbearer.
Even if they do as he asks, by now his anger will have transformed into that renewed sense of cruelty. "You're fingers or your tongue?...Or I could just cut your throat."
𝑅𝐴𝑀𝑆𝐴𝑌 𝐵𝛰𝐿𝑇𝛰𝑁
♫ “You're gonna suffer now, whatever you do.” Love Can Kill by Lennon Stella
His jealousy may not be as overtly intense as Joffrey's, but it certainly is the scariest.
In his own words, he prefers being an only child. That same kind of mentality certainly carries over to his relationship with you. He prefers to be the only one you see that way.
He loves a good game, and that's what this is. If anything, it's quite exhilarating for him. Though, he is a huge hypocrite. For a man who thinks jealousy is boring coming from you, he feels it quite freely.
Sees it as a means of asserting dominance, whether that be through intimidation or overt manipulation. He doesn't deny it like most characters on this list. When he's feeling jealous, he says it. It's a small warning for you not to go any farther, lest worse things occur for you or the perceived threat.
He'll go up to whoever you are talking too, saccharine and honorable smile on his face. He'll casually interrupt, introducing himself as Lord Bolton's successor. Despite his calm demeanor, there is a tightness in his face, and a wicked look in his eyes, that only you can recognize. It will make you shiver.
If the rival persists, he'll find it all too amusing.
"You're bold, I'll give you that." He says with a boisterous laugh, and you already know the mans fate is sealed.
Looks like his hounds will be having another meal tonight. He'll have his men go out looking for the man, and he'll question him more...privately, when you aren't there to witness his tortuous taunts.
But for now, his focus is on you, and your loyalty to him. When he excuses the both of you, his hand is gripping yours painfully tight.
By the time you're in his chamber, he's on you, ripping your clothes off with a harsh intensity and pushing you to the wall. His nose is twitching in barely kept anger, forcing you to look at him.
We all saw that scene between him and Myranda when she threatens to marry someone else, and it was not pretty. His eyes are borderline bloodshot, and he can't keep his hands off you or your throat.
"You're mine." He leans forward, through gritted teeth. It's better you don't put up a fight, because he'll be having you and your attention one way or another.
Que the numerous kisses and bite marks soon to follow. And he is not gentle when he's inside you.
You'll never hear from the flirtatious lord again...and if you do, it's only in the prayers of his grieving family.
𝑇𝑌𝑅𝐼𝛰𝑁 𝐿𝐴𝑁𝑁𝐼𝑆𝑇𝐸𝑅
♫ “My love, you are not safe with me.” Love Can Kill by Lennon Stella
Now, Tyrion's jealousy is more subdued and introspective versus some characters on this list. He has a good sense of self-awareness, and he's intelligent to figure out what he's feeling quite quickly.
At first he'll dismiss it as nothing more than an annoying feeling of insecurity he attempts to cover up. But...it doesn't last long. Especially when someone else makes you laugh. Or when Bronn makes a taunt with a half smirk, that some other fancy lord has taken a keen interest in his lady. (Bronn, you instigator!)
As such, Tyrion resorts to his usual humor to deflect any unpleasant feelings he may have when he's jealous. Similar to his brother, these witty remarks are are subtle intimidation technique, meant to dryly convey his displeasure.
"Ah, the sound of laughter. How quaint. I suppose I’ll have to work harder to earn your amusement." He forces a smile, masking his discomfort. "I didn’t realize I was competing for the title of Court Jester."
These feelings of inadequacy manifest in more self-deprecating ways for Tyrion, given his anger is more controlled. He might opt to drown his sorrows, so don't be surprised if you catch him drunkenly waving his chalice around, doing poor impressions of the so-called-lord that had your attention.
This doesn't mean he won't confront the rival, though. Quite the opposite. While he won't seek the man out, (For his sake, he isn't privy to seeing the tall handsome lord in person. He's not a masochist.) If he happens to come across him flirting with you first hand, or sees him during a feast, he'll make sure to throw one or two gibes out there.
"Desperation looks unflattering on you, my friend. Perhaps you should tone it down a notch." He speaks carefully, nodding to Bronn as a subtle warning. "Or at least the best you can manage..?"
If the rival flirts with you blatantly and in front of him, I can 100% imagine him putting them down. After a flirtatious remark directed towards you, he'll make a dry comment, "Flattery is wasted on me, but do go on; I’m always entertained by those who think they can win my affection." As if it was directed towards him. Probably shuts the man up for a moment.
When the two of you are alone, he'd be very grateful if you could just hold him. Give him that reassurance he craves when his carefree facade breaks. That moment of vulnerability means the world to him.
𝑆𝐴𝑁𝐷𝛰𝑅 "𝑇𝐻𝐸 𝐻𝛰𝑈𝑁𝐷" 𝐶𝐿𝐸𝐺𝐴𝑁𝐸
♫ “I need you to go, don't fight me.” Love Can Kill by Lennon Stella
Listen up, Sandor doesn't take shit.
Jealousy isn't an emotion Sandor is particularly used too. In fact, he didn't think he'd find anyone to love in his lifetime, so the feeling is foreign and unpleasant. And, like a mean dog, Sandor's first reaction is to growl.
He doesn't like it. Says it's constricting, and it pisses him off. Not just the pretty boy lord flirting with you, but the whole situation in general. Makes him feel vulnerable, and weak.
Naturally, his first reaction is to distance himself. He may avoid you, grumbling, spitting out vile and vulgar comments to get you to run with your tail between your legs. It's better for the both of you that way.
"You think they’re worth your time? Just a pretty smile to distract you?" He scoffs, shaking his head. "You could do better. But then again, you always choose to suffer." He motions at himself, and it's a glimpse of that self-depreciation he buries.
But you love him for a reason, and you know that won't end well. Best way to handle him when he's jealous is to be gentle, and to listen.
He doesn't want empty reassurances. He's complicated that way, even if they are genuine. He isn't one for flowery words or overt displays of emotion, so the best way to comfort him would be to give him some space, but continue to take care of him.
It will still frustrate him, but eventually he'll cave. He'll rejoin you, silently, eventually. Won't offer any apologies, but maybe a gruff nod, and you two will commence whatever it is you two have.
In future instances, he becomes much more brutally honest with how he feels. Doesn't sugarcoat it. If he doesn't like someone, even if they are a friend, he expects them gone- or he'll take care of them regardless. That kind of possessive behavior is just something you'll have to work through.
I can imagine him silently brooding if he witnesses someone flirting with you first hand. Typically his size and reputation is enough to scare whoever away. He's looming over them, eyes dark, and ready to defend what's his.
When you take your leave, he'll confront the person with a very explicit threat or two.
"If you don’t back off, I’ll find a nice dark corner to stuff you in- preferably with a pile of shit." Or, "Get any closer, and I’ll rip your tongue out and shove it down your throat."
𝐴𝐸𝑀𝛰𝑁𝐷 𝑇𝐴𝑅𝐺𝐴𝑅𝑌𝐸𝑁
♫ “Get swallowed by the weight.” Love Can Kill by Lennon Stella
Aemond has the most...complex jealousy out of everyone on this list. It's layered, and the outcome may be unpredictable. It's an emotional and volatile nature that's been building up for years since he was a child.
He often had feelings of jealousy for his brother, his nephews, etc. That trauma is deeply rooted in him, and it's hard to let go of old habits, given it's been present all his life.
You'll watch his head bow in distaste when you make small conversation with other lords. How his eye will gaze at you, almost warningly. His jaw will be clenched tight, and he'll avoid eye contact, looking off to the side in anger. He doesn't want to watch.
If it's a friend of yours, he can be a bit mean, questioning your loyalty a bit harshly.
"Friendship? Is that what you call it?" He speaks, angrily. A thinly veiled threat is directed to you, "It seems more like a prelude to betrayal."
He'll brood in the corner, silently waiting. That is, unless, he deems the man goes too far.
In the scene where he gets his eye put out by Lucerys, the conversation that starts before it happens pretty much sums his jealousy up. He's firm with his claim to Vaghar, and the same goes for you.
When Rhaena states that Vaghar was hers to claim, Aemond responds in kind, "Then you should've claimed her." And puts up a hell of a fight to prove his point. That same possessiveness carries over to his relationship with you. He doesn't back down. You're his.
He has no problems getting in between you and the man he feels threatened of. He offers a blunt threat.
"I could have you torn apart, limb by limb, and I’d sleep soundly at night. Be certain of that."
Guaranteed, mixed feelings of insecurity will rise to the surface. When you two are alone, he'll continue to brood silently, leaning against the wall, arms crossed, and body language tight.
Please do reassure him. He needs it. His eye will soften, and he'll place his hand over yours, leaning into your touch. With a soft huff of an air, a final warning slips past his lips.
"Don’t make me remind you why I’m the only one worthy of you."
𝐴𝐸𝐺𝛰𝑁 𝑇𝐴𝑅𝐺𝐴𝑅𝑌𝐸𝑁
♫ “I wanna hold on tightly.” Love Can Kill by Lennon Stella
Aegon handles jealousy poorly, much like he seems to handle everything else.
It's like throwing gasoline on a fire. Once that feeling in his chest flares up, it's shown through erratic behavior, sarcasm, and attempts to assert his claim in juvenile, insecure ways. Unlike his brother, he lacks the restraint to simply brood.
No, be prepared for plenty of mocking comments directed towards the man he's threatened of, and showy displays to prove he's the better choice.
Everyone knows he is unpredictable and reckless, and possessiveness drives him to act out. He certainly overindulges to cope with his insecurity, (getting shitfaced) and will gladly push your boundaries to get your attention back on him.
Not to mention the belittling comments he'll make.
"Oh, is that who you’ve chosen to entertain now? I didn’t realize your taste had grown so dull."
Prone to acting overtly clingy, almost like a restless cat. He will attempt to slide over into the conversation, resting an arm around you, or even pulling you away. He doesn't care if it's 'improper.' He probably brings up his status, his bloodline, acting over-the-top.
He's also no stranger to outbursts. His temper may make him lash out impulsively, whether that be towards you or the man whose got your attention. If he's in a particular mood, be ready to deal with a screaming Aegon, threatening to slaughter and burn said rival. His fist will come down hard on the council table.
He also doesn't care if he's making a show of it in front of the council members. Que Alicent or Otto attempting to placate him. He needs to have a cooler head if he's going to be ruling the Seven Kingdoms, and this type of behavior isn't very becoming.
He definitely thinks he's owed some make-up sex, if only to quell the insecure storm raging inside him.
"You think they could satisfy you? Truly?" He says, firmly, as he steps closer. Anger is burning in his words, volume raising. "They wouldn’t even know where to begin."
And he plans to show you that he's right.
𝐴𝐿𝐼𝐶𝐸𝑁𝑇 𝐻𝐼𝐺𝐻𝑇𝛰𝑊𝐸𝑅
♫ “I'm afraid I'll pull you over the edge.” Love Can Kill by Lennon Stella
Alicent experiences jealousy complexly, just like Aemond. It gnaws on her until she's at her breaking point. Rather than overt displays or confrontations, she attempts to employ more strategic distance...but it always ends up resorting in icy politeness.
She's making her displeasure known through restrained, pointed remarks. Out of duty and pride, she'll attempt to avoid direct confrontation, but she wears her jealousy on her sleeve.
I imagine her withdrawing from the situation at first, if not for anything but her own sake. Her gut reaction, out of insecurity, is to escape the situation. It honestly makes her feel sick.
Unless she's forced to stay...then she'll begrudgingly offer a tight smile. Her responses are carefully measured, and she slips into that role of "queen" rather than a lover.
A part of it stems from passive aggressiveness, and another part of it is purely subconscious.
Speaking of passive aggressiveness, she'll make some pretty cutting remarks, either questioning your loyalty or purposely feigning ignorance to the situation.
"Perhaps I’m mistaken. But I know loyalty when I see it. Or when I don’t."
It's an all bark, no bite threat towards you. But it serves as an aggressive reminder of your connection with her, and that you are now apart of her duties.
If she does interfere beforehand, she'll make indirect remarks about the person causing her jealousy, but will most likely frame it as merely her own curiosity.
Maybe just a touch of self-depreciation, unintentional manipulation. Years of Otto's techniques have rubbed off on her.
"It’s of little consequence, truly. I simply thought I was the one you preferred to spend your time with. I may have misjudged."
𝐺𝑊𝐴𝑌𝑁𝐸 𝐻𝐼𝐺𝐻𝑇𝛰𝑊𝐸𝑅
♫ “Hurts to say it over, over again.” Love Can Kill by Lennon Stella
In contrast to Alicent, Gwayne has no problem when he feels threatened to step in. He's a member of a powerful house, and a knight no less. Those two things have taught him to be prideful and honorable.
He will defend your honor whenever he deems in necessary, and there are no exceptions. He certainly has a flash of a temper, but he believes he's much more restrained than others, given his training.
If he thinks someone is crossing a line, he'll interfere. He'll position himself quite closely to you, making his presence known.
He offers the man a silent warning, offering a cool, assessing look. It would be enough to communicate his disapproval.
And if the man persists...well...they'll end up with the end of a sword pointed at them.
Similar to Robb, Gwayne's jealousy appears more in his heightened protectiveness. He insists on staying close for your safety.
"Do they need to be reminded that you’re already spoken for?"
Obviously, his noble pride carries on. If he gets pushed, his jealousy will show more openly, taking the man aside, and telling them that he is more worthy of her time and attention. Might throw in a comment about his noble standing.
He'll take you aside when everything is said and done, reminding her his intentions are honorable. Everyone else is just...unworthy.
"You may not see it, but I know men like him. If he truly respected you, he wouldn’t need to linger around someone else’s beloved."
𝐷𝐴𝐸𝑀𝛰𝑁 𝑇𝐴𝑅𝐺𝐴𝑅𝑌𝐸𝑁
♫ "No matter how you feel." Love Can Kill by Lennon Stella
Oh boy, you'll have to keep this man on a tight leash when his jealousy flares up. It's as intense as he is, and he shows it openly.
He'll deny it, or embrace it, depending on the severity of the perceived offense. It's closely tied to that desire for power within him he can't seem to shake. Any affront to your loyalty is an affront to his own standing.
He switches from possessive protectiveness to outright hostility. There's really no in between. It's a raw and unfiltered fury that makes his hand shake and his eye twitch.
He doesn't tolerate rivals, and he's very upfront that he's the only one fit to be by your side. This comes through when he has you all to himself on his bed...
He'll confront the person whether you want him to or not.
"If they value their limbs, they’d remember you’re mine." He mutters casually, pacing around the room.
He carries that hard glint in his eyes. He may even mildly appreciate the sheer balls of the man stupid enough to attempt to flirt with you, but he'll shut it down quicker than anyone on this list.
"You’ve got a bold tongue. I wonder if I should cut it out..?" He'll look to you for permission. It's up to you if you wanna let the dragon loose!

debunking some anti byler arguments i've heard recently
"mike wasn't old enough to know how to navigate the fact that he was in love with el, so he just hid his feelings"
so mike is old enough to 1. fall in love at first sight and 2. KNOW that he's in love, but just not old enough to know how to navigate it? what age would you say a child gains the ability to know how to navigate love? also, what from mikes behavior supports that? there is no answer because he does nothing to lead the audience to think that. you're basing all of that off of what he says in s4. if you think mike is telling the truth in the monologue, you have to make massive assumptions that are hard to believe given his canon behavior for it to make sense. if you think mike is lying, you don't have to assume anything, because him lying would perfectly match his canon s1 behavior.
"he didn't recognize what he was feeling in the moment"
if you think that then you're admitting he lied in the monologue lol
"I knew right then and there in that moment that I loved you."
he knew. right then and there. in that moment.
unless...he didn't 💀
"he was downplaying his feelings for el so lucas and dustin wouldn't make fun of him"
downplaying your love for someone in order to not be made fun of = forming a plan to send the person you love away FOREVER so you can keep searching for your missing best friend so you won't have to face your love for them
yeah totally that makes perfect sense
"mike kept el at his house because he was afraid she'd be killed, it didn't have anything to do with will"
literally a flat out lie
this conversation was not even an hour after he supposedly realized he loves el:
he was only concerned with getting her out in a way that wouldn't get him in trouble so he could go out and look for will again. that was his priority an hour after he realized he was in love with el? for real? and then the next morning he hadn't changed his mind at all and was still going to execute the plan.
then after he found out people were after her, yes he kept her, but that doesn't mean romance. that's kindness. he is very kind to el. he is a kind character who cares about people a great amount.
then later on when el points to will's picture:
and when dustin and lucas arrive:
he found out about the bad people first, but brought up will first. he wasn't freaking out demanding that she stay because he was scared for her life, he was convinced she was the key to finding will. IN. CANON.
then later in the season when lucas and mike are arguing over keeping el around:
i'm not saying mike didn't care about el's safety, but his main reason for keeping her around is because he thinks she's the key to finding will. that's just canon. and if you think mike and wills relationship is solely platonic on mikes side, this shouldn't threaten you. if mike doesn't have feelings for will, then why can't he care for both of them at the same time? why must you *prove* that mike didn't care about will as much as we say?
it's because even you guys can see that writing mike that way AND writing will to be in love him only points to one ending, isn't it....

Possibly Hot Take:
Wayne Family Adventures is the correct canon and as a person who was raised on Batman, it's what got me back into the fandom, period. I get that people enjoy their gritty Batman, who hates everyone and is awful to his family, but that's not Batman. That's not the original Batman. The original Batman is the one who had "old-school" goofy programs on TV, aka the original 1960s Batman TV Program. The one that had goofy sound effects, and life lessons (and occasionally some slight drama). The original Batman is Batman: The Animated Series from 1992, where Batman's story is pretty much laid bare from the start. These programs show that you can have drama, and trauma, and not compromise a character by making him the antithesis of everything he is said to stand for. That's the Original Batman. That Batman lost his parents. Tragically. Horrifically. And because of that, his sole purpose in life was to make sure No Child EVER went through what he went through again. Every episode, he would get angry, fight a villain, put them in jail, but he would never kill. People seem to remember this half of him pretty easily. But they forget the second half. When a child shows up, that anger disappears. Because he cares about children, especially his own.
This is shown repeatedly through both series, and in many comic strips that ran at the time. A great example is the episode See No Evil from Batman: The Animated Series. In it, a little girl is almost kidnapped by her father, who is an Invisible Man, and Batman has to take him down. This episode is made all the more traumatic by the fact that the Invisible Man actually nearly succeeds in kidnapping his daughter, with Batman only being able to stop him last second, after the little girl realizes what is happening and becomes terrified. This ending is where you see the difference in how he treats villains, civilians, and children. Because in one second he's focused on taking out the bad guy, and the next he's focused on making sure that little girl is okay. And the episode ends by Batman visiting her at the window every night, to make sure she's okay and prove to her that she's protected, since that was the window her father used to access her.
A couple other good examples of Batman as a hero/friend/father are the Justice League (TV Series) and Young Justice (TV Series). Does he mess up a lot? Yes. Does he lack trust in people he should trust? Yes. It's literally a running gag/plot of the shows that he has a contingency plan for everyone on the Justice League and this translates to Robin having one for everyone in Young Justice. But, when he messes up, does he fix it? Also yes. He also cares for the kids in Young Justice, and for the kids they interact with in the Justice League. This is shown time and time again. Especially in the bond he and Robin have. Throughout Batman: The Animated Series, Justice League (TV Series), and Young Justice, Batman and Robin have always cared about one another. They've gotten into spats, and they're angry at each other occasionally, but that's how families work. You aren't always going to agree. But throughout it all, Robin always looked up to Batman, and Batman was always proud of Robin (even when he couldn't show it).
Here's where the trauma comes in:
Batman is going to screw up as a parent. Every single parent does. Especially when you're as traumatized as he is, and all of your adopted children/family are also as traumatized as you are. It is inevitable. But what differentiates Original Batman from the Batman that made me quit reading anything about him for years is the response. Original Batman would try to make things right. Because he would recognize that what he did had caused harm, and not only that, it caused harm to his children (and family). And he would hate that. So he would do everything possible to fix it, including working on himself and doing better. The newer age, grittier Batman doesn't do that. Because he's missing the very core of what it means to be Batman: caring about his family and caring about kids. This is why I left the fandom. Because that grittier Batman, is not Batman. He lacks the key piece of what makes Batman the character that he is. And it replaces that piece with drama for the sake of drama. No resolutions, no trying to be better, just hurt for the sake of hurt, and angst for the sake of angst. And I detest that. You can have drama without compromising his character. Joker is a murderous man who's gone insane, with the sole intent of hurting Batman and Gotham as sadistically as possible. That's been true since the 1960s Batman show I mentioned earlier. He would, and does hurt the Bat Family on a regular basis. And there are so many villains that do the same. Batman doesn't need to become one of them to "make the story more interesting". It already is. In fact, I'd argue that him staying true to himself and working with his family throughout it creates much more interesting dynamics than gritty Batman ever could.
And that's where Wayne Family Adventures comes in:
When I first saw WFA, I wasn't going to give it a chance. Because I'd been so burned by Batman Comics before that I didn't believe this one was going to be any better. But something made me give it a chance. Maybe it was the art style, maybe it was the fact that it was on Webtoon, I don't know. But when I started reading it, I was pleasantly surprised. And I was even more surprised to find out that it is a Canon (yes it is Canon, not Fanon) DC Batman Comic. Many people disliked the first season because it started out majority-wise as "fluff". However, if you cared to read past the first few episodes, more and more backstory started to pop up. Along with this, the "fluff" all connected. Because that "fluff" was necessary to break free of the shackles that the Batman franchise has been in for decades now. And for the first time, it showed the Bat Family with the heart of the Original Batman. The more you read, the better it gets, because the more fleshed out their world becomes. And it draws very important Canon from other franchises in ways that don't make it feel cheap. It also proves something that I think has needed to be proven for a long time; You can have substance in a story without it being entirely grim. Not only can you have substance, you can have deeper substance. Because the connections everyone in the Bat Family has to each other allows us to explore issues in a way they haven't been before. Through communication.
Spoilers below:
We get to see Jason go through a very large PTSD episode. And it isn't just "All people with PTSD are violent". In fact, the only one who thinks he's a danger to the world is himself. Everybody else recognizes that he's hurting, and that representation is enormous. We get to see insights into everyone's pasts and how it's affected them. In Season 3 (which is a fully fledged/connected arc, not "fluff"), we get to see how PTSD affects Bruce, and because he's on good terms with his adopted family, we get to see how it affects him and Jason, both similarly and differently, at the same time. We also get to see how Jason's previous death impacted Bruce and how that plays into the Joker's plans and Bruce's reactions to everything. We get to see Dick step up as Nightwing again, and his and Barbara's trauma, involving parents, the Joker, and having to go against someone you should be able to trust. We actually get to see Duke. And how all of this has affected him. We see how his parents being (currently) permanently "infected" by the joker has absolutely broken him in ways he hasn't yet processed. And how he can overcome it, while also leaning on the support of his family. We see how Damien's world-view is affected due to being raised by assassins, and how he slowly comes out of his shell the longer the series goes. We get to see wonderful examples of how loved ones can help bring us out of a crisis and back into a headspace that can do something about the situation, because sometimes brute forcing it won't work. And we get to see what coming out of a toxic relationship looks like through Harley Quinn, and how just because you're a different (better) person now, that doesn't mean the person you were before is completely gone from the minds of those around you. Bruce was still afraid of Harley when he was dealing with his PTSD responses. Because Harley Quinn did help the Joker do some really bad things. And Harley recognized that and understood.
Season 3 isn't over yet, and it's already done all of that and more.
And because of that, this series has singlehandedly brought me back into the fandom. Because it made Batman feel like Batman again. And it recognized that trauma is more complex than just piling darkness on top of darkness over and over again.
I want more people to give it a chance because it's done something genuinely special that DC hasn't had in a long time. And I think it could get so many Batman fans back on board who've been missing this version of Batman for decades, because it shows so well what Batman was always about. I also want newer Batman (grittier Batman) fans to give it a fair chance, because it has far more substance than many people will ever even care to look for. And that substance can do so much for people who empathize with characters like Jason, Bruce, Damien, Duke, etc.. As well as bring awareness about these topics to people who may not know anything about them, or only know a stigmatized version of these topics, especially PTSD.

The Intruder is even better in hindsight because in Witches before Wizards, Eda tells Luz she needs to work to make her magical Chosen One fantasy happen. Luz learns to take in Eda’s advice, pursuing magical knowledge through Hexside in the next episode, only to realize Eda’s magical knowledge is also worthwhile. So Luz agrees to apply both lessons by focusing on what Eda can teach her —magic— by The Intruder, eager to put in the work to learn. Luz thinks magic is the key to making her dream come true.
But what about King, the literal and figurative little guy? Luz realizes her neglect of King caused him to act rashly, just as Luz did in her obsession with her dream, and both led to Eda’s curse emerging. So Luz owns up to her mistake by appreciating what King has to offer as well, and care about things outside of her dream. And that compels the Titan to show Luz her first spell in gratitude, for being a friend to his son.
Ironically, Luz begins her progress to become a chosen witch like Azura, not by focusing solely on that, but by acknowledging that other things and especially people matter outside of it; As far as she knows, King is a nobody irrelevant to her dream, but Luz chose to care about King and his interests even when she doesn’t need his help. Luz didn’t let her obsession with her dream make these things mutually exclusive.
And not only does Luz take her first step in being a witch, she begins to earn the Titan’s trust as well. The Titan might’ve noticed Luz taught Philip the Light glyph centuries ago, but if Philip himself in that situation means anything, Luz could’ve learned it from someone else; Her friends learn the glyphs from her! But realizing Luz’s good heart made the Titan get over any implicit skepticism and decide to be the person she learns her first spell from.
All of this kicks off a long chain of events that culminates in Luz inadvertently bringing herself to the Titan, who trusts Luz with his power. Thus, Luz becomes a chosen one after proving to the Titan why she can handle that responsibility. Luz decided there was more to life than her fantasy and it’s why she’s allowed to have her fantasy; Because she can now live her dream while remembering how it interacts with what’s outside of it.
Again, Luz’s magical journey begins by learning magic. That means earning the Titan’s trust, one spell and act of growth at a time, because magic is a gift from the Titan. It means paying attention to the world around her, because the Titan is also that world, and that world and its people is where magic lies in; Magic, Titan, the World, all one.
Learning magic was the key to becoming her fantasy, but the magic is symbolic and came from the people, literally and figuratively; One could call it the magic of friendship, which is appropriately corny the way Azura, the good witch Luz wanted to emulate, is. She befriends two Titans through the same act, making a friend means learning magic which is also making a friend.
And it works because being loved by friends was the core of that heroic fantasy for Luz, so listening to those people was what convinced them to feel the same way towards her! Magic came from the heart; Not just the Titan’s literal heart, but the compassion for others, such as what the Titan felt for King, which Luz also had. And the Titan recognizing that shared love resulted in Luz’s first spell.
Because Luz cared about more than being a hero, she became an actual hero instead of the idea of one; Getting her fantasy came less from learning magic or the aesthetics —which the Collector misunderstood in impersonating Luz, thinking it’d get them the same results— but from Luz proving she has the core sentiment behind what a hero, what a friend, even is. And the Collector learns this to understand how Luz actually got the love of two Titans, and to get the same dream, having friends.
To once again connect TOH to Bionicle (by quoting it), “It’s not what you’ve got, it’s what you do with it, that makes you a hero.” Because when Luz hears King hope that his knowledge on something would make people care about "creatures like me," it reminded Luz of the other part of Eda's Witches before Wizards lesson that she forgot; That everyone else, not just Luz, wants to believe they're special, and they also need to work to make that happen. And maybe being a witch was Luz's way of convincing others to care about someone like her. Luz got to live her dream by acknowledging someone else’s dream means a lot, too; And fittingly, she ended up helping King and so many other friends achieve their dreams as well!

i've seen enough people crying over this uzi sacrifice scene in ep7 but i don't think enough people actually analyzes esp uzi and N's character (atleast from what i've seen??) and my god i need to rant because this scene the more i watch it the more it ABSOLUTELY destroys me (save me nuzi save me...)
messy rant incoming...
alright, quick recap of the characters so i can later explain my points better
pilot uzi had no one to rely on, treated as a freak by her community, neglected by her father and overall completely isolated with the world. She had no one but herself, that's why she never allows herself to show any vulnerabilities so people won't take advantage of her and literally dismisses her own feelings and coping mechanisms as "angsty hormonal teen feelings" and developed a inferiority complex of wanting to prove herself and be recognized. Meeting N was more than just a change of trajectory in her life, he helped her in so, SO many ways from making her realize that her feelings are validated and it's okay to lean on others when you need it the most, to be vulnerable- something that she desperately needed but was never provided- to helping her just.. overall improve herself and promise that he'll always be there when she needs him the most. N is so integral in uzi's life, all she needed was someone to understand her, and there he was.
meanwhile N is always treated as a worthless nobody by people around him which is very evident in the pilot with his interactions between J and V. He clearly has issues when it comes to his own self worth and completely robbed of autonomy. All he ever wanted was to be useful and seen by others, which leads to him going along with other's insane crazy ideas without questioning morals and rights or wrongs. Uzi was the one that helped him find a ground he can stand on and finally being able to defend himself and what he thinks is worth protecting, as well as being a genuine friend he can finally talk and bond with after being ignored for so long.
and back to the scene. The reason why this scene hurts so much for me is that uzi finally found someone so important to her that she's willing to sacrifice herself and thanked N for "everything" he's ever done. He gave her everything that she could possibly ask for, she was content. Uzi even used her solver powers to push N away to make sure he wasn't in danger or an attempt to save her. The fact that she even thanked N, making it sounds like her final words to him implies that she was okay with dying and giving up her own life just really says how much N meant to her. She couldn't have done all of this without meeting him, to be selfless and sacrifice yourself for someone you truly love.
for N he's probably absolutely devastated, especially after V's sacrifice the ep before. Both of his closest friends sacrificed also for the sake of saving him, he literally could not do anything but watch them disappear in front of him. He'd probably blame himself so much for failing to save them and the fact that he has self harm tendencies every time he makes a mistake... N is definitely VERY TRAUMATIZED from this and also needs time to heal as well.
overall im very normal about nuzi these 2 will be the death of me i love them so much. both of them meeting each other was the best thing that ever happened to them and watching them grow and develop is so 😭😭😭
have a good day thank you so much for reading this very messy rant and bare with my very limited vocabulary if you did... ;3

How Obey Me Brothers realized they were in love with MC: Part Two, Mammon
A/N: Omg thank you so much for so many notes on Part One! I literally am so happy! Thank you so so much! Anyways, I got this idea from another creator who made a story of how MC favored Mammon because I think she also faced that back home, and when Mammon scores well but everyone continues to bully him, they live with Diavolo until the brothers apologized. I forget their username so if anyone knows do let me know!
Mammon: The Scummy Secondborn
Being known as the Avatar of Greed meant that nobody trusted you, even if you has good intentions.
Mammon was quite used to this, to be the punching bag of the family, the one who's intentions were always judged.
Mammon wasn't dumb, in fact he was quite smart, but he just didn't really focus on his academics too much.
But that didn't mean that he didn't score well every once in a while.
It was just that everybody, especially Lucifer, assumed he for 1. Cheated, and 2. Only scored well because he must've fucked something up.
Today, the results for a very important exam had come out, and Mammon was one of the top students, just under Lucifer and Satan.
But recently, Lucifer had frozen Goldie yet again, so everybody assumed that was the reason why.
"96? 𝘕𝘰𝘵 𝘣𝘢𝘥…𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘐'𝘮 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘧𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘻𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘎𝘰𝘭𝘥𝘪𝘦 𝘪𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵'𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘥. 𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘥𝘰 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘯𝘦𝘹𝘵 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦. 96 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘉𝘦𝘭𝘱𝘩𝘦𝘨𝘰𝘳'𝘴 𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘴𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘪𝘦𝘴! 𝘚𝘰 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘔𝘢𝘮𝘮𝘰𝘯, 𝘥𝘰 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳…"
"𝘐𝘵'𝘴…𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘎𝘰𝘭𝘥𝘪𝘦! 𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘪𝘵 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥'𝘷𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘦, 𝘺𝘢 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸? 𝘈𝘯𝘥…𝘤𝘢𝘯'𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘮𝘦 𝘢𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘵?"
Mammon's shoulders slumped. He really had tried really hard, and this is what Lucifer was saying to him?
"Appreciate? For What? You Proving That You're Not Useless And Dumb?" "Shut Up, Belphegor!"
Mammon's head instantly shot up at the angry tone of MC. Belphie's pact mark, which was on their arm, glowed brightly, as his mouth instantly clamped shut, while his eyes glowed with anger. All the demon brothers stared at them in shock, as they flowered back, fists clenched.
Clearly sensing that sooner or later one of them were going to turn into their demon form, Mammon quickly grabbed MC and shakes them into his room.
The second they were inside he slammed the door shut and asked them why they did that.
"MC why would ya do that?! ya don't need to stand up for me!"
"Mammon did you see how they were treating you?! it's wrong and you don't deserve it! you did so good and they should appreciate it instead of acting like children! you're amazing and you deserve to be recognized, Mammon!"
Tears pricked at the corners of his eyes as he listened to MC rant about his mistreatment. Sure, he hated how his brothers treated him, but he never stood up for himself. But to see MC do that, zero fucks given? It made him wanted to wrap them in the fattest and tightest hug possible and never let go.
And that's exactly what he did.
Being the Avatar of Greed meant that not many trusted him, and were willing to stand up or even just be kind to him. But for you to go against several of the most powerful demons just for him? It made him want to protect you from everything and anything. This feeling was so new, he hadn't felt it ever since Lilith died. But maybe, just maybe with MC, he could explore this feeling again.
"Thank you MC. i love ya so much."

It is a great day to be a sukuita enjoyer because Sukuna's viewpoint on Yuuji had been debunked time and time again to the point Sukuna became a clown and grew up obsessed with him (yapping how weak and pathetic he was yet still wouldn't kill him) and now Yuuji is utilizing his own “weak” techniques against him quite effectively (he even made a binding vow like 😭) to save Megumi.
He's proven to be smart and a strategist— someone exactly like Sukuna— but not to kill but to save. To use all of that strength for good. To save a life. Exactly the opposite to Sukuna.
And do you know who helped him the most? The very same curse “Strongest Jujutsu Sorcerer” that hates his guts. The ironic fact is that he didn't help him at all, didn't raise him to heavens, didn't even lift a finger. All Yuuji did was just be himself, despite being his vessel, and proved himself as a person. Him taking another vessel (Megumi), literally proved to be of great help to Yuuji.
Like both of them are unseen and unknown by anyone and yet see parts of each other which no one else gets to see. Yuuji sees Sukuna being weak, being shocked, being gentle, being everything unlike himself (Do you recall how we started everything off? With Sukuna being practically harmless to Yuuji yet showing his brutality to everyone else? Like 😭) and meanwhile Sukuna sees Yuuji being strong.
From pretending to be bored when talking about him, brushing him off yet praising everyone else, being all smiley whenever he realized he was growing stronger but still proceeded to yap how even if he's good, he's seen better and it only pushed and pushed Yuuji to climb to this level. His growing frustration and disinterest (read: extreme interest) pushed Yuuji to survive and live despite being sentenced to death. After all, who knows best what's it like to be rejected by the world yet wanting to be a part of it so much so that you'd eat your twin for it?
It's true that they'd never see eye to eye, but just because they didn't, this is why Yuuji is strong. This is why Yuuji can succeed, succeed precisely where Sukuna failed. It's perfect revenge for his twin brother who he ate, who Yuuji came from. Someone so sweet and gentle. Someone who actually deserved to live instead of Sukuna.
And everything Sukuna did was push him to that, even if unknowingly and unconcerned. He's like an idgaf-er who constantly talks about the stuff that he claims he doesn't give two shits about.
And this? This is why I'm jumping for joy.
Because now I'm convinced that if Sukuna was praising him, he'd actually be irrelevant to him. He'd actually be weak in his eyes. Instead each and every step he took to undermine him made him a better person. Made him stand out. Made who he is shine.
Because the greatest way to help people without expecting anything in return, for Yuuji to fulfill his wish, is to help a lost, abandoned soul. Someone who doesn't have anyone. Someone who couldn't embrace kindness but cruelty in order to live. Someone like Megumi. And subtextually, someone like Sukuna.
Because the second Sukuna leaves his body, he recognizes Yuuji as someone from before. He recognizes Yuuji as Kenjaku's child (the only one who did btw). He recognizes the real him— the child who came from his twin brother.
Do not forget that him choosing to reject his fate, to be born a twin, crawl out into the world as a monster, bear the burden of immense strength is what led to Yuuji's creation. Without Sukuna being who he is, there would be no Yuuji.

the most frustrating part about Taco talk atm is not just that a ton of people are in a black or white mindset (even if they don’t realize it) but that they are not referencing outside of her, acknowledging a theme that some have recognized but haven’t like? connected the dots? between them? i guess? It’s the theme of how the mindset in realty shows show off the worst in people and ruins relationships. but if taco was the only instance of trying to work against that that would be pretty poor fucking theme.
why haven’t we mentioned Marshmallow recently? she literally left ii of her own volition because she noticed that very thing. and maybe not someone who connected it to the game itself, but Soap had a good point as well. She also noticed these themes happening in her team, and although she didn’t relate them to the game, it’s still important. and this is not mentioning the times we can see this theme unspoken, often with those who go along with it rather than against.
but Soap didn’t have the ability to do anything about it except her words. Marshmallow, nothing against her, really, but she just left without a word. Taco knows she’s antagonistic. Taco knows she can have leverage over people. Taco uses this semblance of power she believes she has to prove the very same point proactively. It is muddled up because of her antagonistic nature, yes, but it is the same. i’m sorry(/s) if she hurt your favorite characters feelings, or just your feeling alone. that’s not the point. her point was to show how the game changed them. she literally said so. how good you think she did- well that’s up to you- but Lightbulb did leave actively. in an environment where she felt uncomfortable and pressured and was TOLD that she can “win for her team!” despite how she feels, despite where she is mentally. in the beginning of tacos questioning you can literally take away: LB felt she had to win for her friends (as seen with PB, or she’d be a disappointment) but she felt she couldn’t do that. Tacos words rang true to Lightbulb.
Taco is antagonistic, yes. she knows and exemplifies that. Taco also partook in the theming, of ruining friendships and being a worse version of yourself, yes. she acknowledges that, she knows that. that may as well make her better for the part. as much as i’d like to address things unrelated/less related to theming on how i feel people are simplifying or straight up lying about Taco, i’ve easily gone on long enough. and frankly, i probably wont later. i am very tired of all of this ALREADY and it’s only been five days as of writing this. i guess the tldr is that taco and ii itself is morally grey, who knew?/s thank you for coming to my ted talk. -💥

hello love <3 happy wincest wednesday!! do you have a favourite canon wincest dynamic shift? there are many times in the show where something happens that dramatically changes the relationship they have/how they look at it, and i'm wondering which one you find the most compelling. it doesn't have to literally be one moment-- eg. mine is the transition from s9 -> s10 where sam watches dean die and then dives HARD into curing the MOC after s9, where he's so deliciously withholding.
happy wincest wednesday!! we're back from the wincest wars! <333
goddamn, that's such a good answer I wish I could immediately steal it, haha -- especially with how mostly-unspoken it is. I'd also pull in there the thing that starts to happen in late s9, probably around the AAAA episode, where Sam starts to really notice what he said has done to Dean's mindset and is getting quietly worried, but can't actually -- say anything. Delish :pinchy fingers emoji:
There's a couple of faaantastic dynamic shifts -- after John dies and they have their rebel/loyalist flip; the thing that rots through s4 where pity and fear almost ruin everything; the thing in s3 where Sam really realizes what's about to slip through his fingers and starts to get wild. Season 6! Season 8! so much!!!
but for my heart-home I think I should pick s11, and very specifically this thing that happens in the kind of middle of that season where Dean seems to actually fully accept Sam's protectiveness, and it finally feels like the most equal version of the partnership. Sam did a horrific thing to save Dean's morality -- not even his life, which is kind of a cheap product, but to get back the Dean he recognized and loved -- and he says he'd do it again (with a little sop to 'and that has to change' -- lol, lmao. good luck with that, darling). Meanwhile Dean, who has indeed been a horrible shitbag for a while there, and still obv is in his Dean era of 'I'm the worst person who's ever lived' -- buuut Sam saved him, and brought him back from the brink, and proved maybe that there was something worth saving, as a result. Sam's got pretty good taste, after all. Dean's got another black mark on his soul with Amara's obsession looming over him, and Sam's got a fearful Lucifer-based worry crawling up his back, but -- something about the dynamic settles, and heals something that had been broken since that s9 moment you reference. Shit, it balances something that had been spinning a little wrong since s5, s2, since they were kids, probably. It becomes clear that this is a truly, thoroughly equal partnership, and that's something that... really hadn't been fully clear, all this time.
The specific moment I keep thinking of is the bit at the end of Love Hurts where Dean feels able to admit that his 'deepest desire' was Amara, and Sam accepts it completely without judgment, and then assures Dean that he'll do whatever he needs to do to help if Dean can't manage. Dean accepts it, even if he's embarrassed. That's just -- different. For so many years the Winchesters have been on this rocking see-saw, one of them in the dirt and one of them heroic and saving his brother. It used to be a joke. "Another season of Supernatural? Which one of them is gonna betray the other/die this year?" s11 represents a total break with that past into: they are a team. One of them can be weak and the other will understand and shore them up on the crippled side until they're whole again, and it's--fine. No shame and no worry that the partnership will be broken or weakened as a result. It's the fullest representation of the marriage that was gestured at in s8 -- tested, almost broken, repaired, now an alloy much stronger than steel.
There is a reason s11 is my favorite.
#altho s4 is equal favorite#you gotta get some rot so the repair feels all the sweeter#happy wincest wednesday#answers#ty ava#i shall hopefully await your own genius thots

Can, I ask, why do you think Yuuji is one of the character that is so underated in JJK? He is the mc, but many people (in fandom) treat him like a side character? At first, I don't think so, but I love many shounen, and somehow Yuuji is one of the mc that is underated in their own story....
Sorry if I'm wrong, just I love Yuuji and want him to get the spotlight he deserve....
I wouldn't say you're wrong, Anon! In fact, I would say he is an underrated character. Yes, fairly popular, but when it comes to how the fandom treats him compared to characters like Gojo, Yuji is Underrated.
I feel exactly how you feel about Yuji. To me, he is the best JJK character. Oh, yeah, I'm being bias, whatever, but it's how I feel.
My guess as to why the fandom treats him like a side character because Yuji isn't like how most older gen MCs are written, let alone the others of the cast.
Let's be real, when the mid-late 2010s rolled around, how fandoms started to treat the new age MCs is opposite of their treatment of other MCs. It's because they're a different formula and honestly, I feel like folks who bash on Yuji and others like Tanjiro and Izuku, just don't want to try something different.
They're used to the MCs who speedruns their training and powerups and suffer little to no drawbacks, "trauma, what trauma" and want to be the best because they got an ego and pride they don't want hurt.
Today's MCs? Pain, not afraid to show a range of emotions, training? Oh, they get the hang of it but still a lot to learn and watch out! They have the scars to prove that they almost lost an arm!
Now focusing on Yuji, as I said he's not like other JJK characters.
He's not overpowered, but he's not weak either. He's a bit of a goof and he's says he's an idiot, but he actually isn't all dumb he makes himself out to be. He's not flashy, but he has amazing moments where he gets to show off.
He has a goal to get strong, not being he wants to be the top or anything. He just wants to help people.
He has a sad backstory, but it's only until later we realize how messed up it is and even still we don't have his reaction to realizing those messed up bits. Yuji was raised by his grandfather and he states he is a loner. But unlike how we see with most characters, Yuji is relatively fine with that. He brushes off knowing about his parents, unlike most MCs who would literally beg for answers. He's a loner, but he's not a loser. Note how people around him in his hometown treats him. They gave him a nickname to reflect his impressive physical prowess that amazes them and yet, he doesn't care for the popularity.
Yuji has this balance to him where he's both spontaneous but also pretty chill. A lot of the cast outshines Yuji because they are more showy than Yuji, even calm characters.
Unlike Gojo and even Yuta, Yuji is literally what you call the audience surrogate. Through him, we learn about the Jujutsu world while experiencing (growth).
From the start of their stories (referring to JJK 0 and Gojo's Past Arc), both Gojo and Yuta are established as powerful sorcerers from the start. Yuta may have had inexperienced but he was still recognized as a powerful kid. Both are born lucky with having such powers. The most Yuta and Gojo really develop and change is their personalities and attitudes towards certain ideas. That's it. They don't even have to do anything and immediately their auras show who they are.
In contrast to Yuji, how is he recognized?
As just Sukuna's vessel. Most of the time, he is literally called that. When he's recognized by his strength and abilities it's when he actively has to fight. Then it's like "oh, so he does have capabilities". Yuji actually has to show he can be just as capable as the others because when people first look at him it's "Sukuna's vessel" or back in Sendai it's "Tiger of West Middle".
It's not "Yuji".
Hell, he'll even be compared to Maki. It's not "Maki's like Yuji". No, it's "Yuji is like Maki". Megumi is the first character to do this. Maki is unique enough that if someone, in this case Yuji, displays a similarity to her, she is the template.
However, for Yuji, while he's unique it's almost like it's not enough to be acknowledged until he has to show them. Like, he has to prove something when he actually doesn't care to do that. Yuji doesn't care to get stronger than the next person, especially at this point. If anything, he seems to be the only one from the very start recognize that none of this is a test of strength when people are dying. Note how he acts during a fight. Every major to majorly minor character has displayed some sort of enjoyment out of a fight or fights to show they're not weak.
Not a single time has Yuji ever even smiled. Look back at all the fights and you will see that he hasn't done such a thing. He fights not because it's a game. He fights because he has to and only that.
And it's not like it gets better for him because he later identifies himself as "a cog". It's like Yuji never really had his own identity.
He's the odd one out.
It's how I think some of the fandom sees him. Without an identity, without recognizable traits. Hell, go on any post that praises Yuji and Yuji alone and there's gonna be a hater to bring up another character.
To some, I feel like Yuji only exists to them to hate on. Only a tool to bring in their praising of other characters to put him down as if that's all he's worthy of. It's a damn shame, too, that people actually feel the need to bring down a character to build their faves. Oh, feel like your fave can't stand on their own and show their greatness?

HCs for how Pyke, Swain, and Viego would go about trying to confess their feelings to a fem!reader? For whatever reason they feel like they HAVE TOO.
Viego isn't much for planning these sorts of things; it is a historically recognised fact that with his first wife he fell in love at first sight and proposed on the spot. That being said, he's reflected that that might put you a tad on the spot, even if he's not really the king of anything anymore, so he refrains (barely) from offering to marry you on the spot. Still, the second he recognizes what he's feeling it gets caught in his chest like a shaken-up champagne bottle–he has to tell you, it'll eat him up inside until he does. Again, for better or worse this man thinks with his heart first and head second, so the moment he sees you it just comes bursting out of him. It is the most romantic, heartfelt confession you've ever heard–he tells you everything he loves about you with such absolute earnestness that it is literally impossible to doubt his sincerity, it's written all over his face how besotted he is. He'll be honest that he knows that there are many, many reasons you might not feel the same and he can't blame you for that, but if by some miracle you felt the same he swears by his own crown that he'll do everything in his power to make you happy and prove himself worthy of your love. It's not technically a marriage proposal, but it's pretty close. If you reciprocate he's literally overjoyed, like picks you up and spins you around ecstatic, grinning from ear to ear.
---
Externally, Pyke looks like he's on his way to kill someone. Internally, he is stressed out of his mind. He's not good with words–he knows this, you know this, literally everyone who's ever met him knows this. If ‘the’ is the most common vocalisation in the history of language, his was probably an ambivalent grunt. He's even worse at talking about feelings–with the exception of anger, him and feelings have a tense working relationship at best. He's not the type to get attached to people, and by the time he realizes how in deep he is he's absolutely petrified of somehow fucking it up–and lord does it take him a while to realize. He doesn't examine his feelings often, just acts on them, and you're as close as this town can get to an angel so obviously he wants to be around you all the time, duh. Also, you're gorgeous, anyone with eyes could see that, of course he'd get distracted with how your hair looked in the sun, he's not fucking blind. That weird feeling in his chest was probably just a side effect of being sorta-dead–it’s not like he has a heart that can skip a beat. Anyway, once the other shoe drops, he's entering pure suffering mode–he has to tell you, but how? He'll enlist help from the few people who tolerate him in Bilgewater (namely Illaoi, but Sarah Fortune also weasels her way in because this is the funniest fucking thing she's ever heard and who cares how she heard. He begrudgingly accepts because he's just that desperate not to fuck this up), and he walks away with a reasonable plan for how he's gonna confess that goes immediately out the window the second he sees you. Just head blank, heart in throat, what was he gonna say again? He's staring, and you ask if he's feeling okay, and he just blurts out that he loves you, he's been in love with you for months and he didn't know how to tell you so he just…is. It comes out sounding like a threat. He briefly considers swimming into the crushing abyss of the sea never to be seen again. He scrubs a hand over his face because he really does not want to see the look on your face right now and clarifies that nothing needs to change between you and he knows he's a fucking disaster of a person, he just thought you should know. He's genuinely shocked if you reciprocate, that absolutely was not how he saw this going, and his expression doesn't really change beyond his eyes widening but he's so relieved he feels like he's gonna pass out.
---
Swain is hands down the most put together. He’s a very down to earth person–he pretty quickly recognizes his feelings and comes to terms with them, and then puts together a plan. He invites you out to a nice dinner at your favorite restaurant (which, if he's sure it wouldn't bother you, he'd rent out just for you two) and picks you up with a bouquet of your favorite flowers. He's a perfect gentlemen the whole time, like pulls your chair out and offers you his arm style, and he's remarkably suave when he wants to be. Then you go for a scenic walk–the Noxus Prime might not be the most photogenic place but the harbor is quite pretty at night, and he happens to have his own private dock that, of course, is empty this time of night. Under the moonlight, he very calmly and sincerely expresses how he feels about you, and he'd be deeply honored if you'd allow him to court you. He's very charming, but leaves you space to graciously decline if you don't feel the same, or for any of the other very good reasons you think a relationship might not work out with him. Either way he's prepared to accept the outcome. If you reciprocate, he'll let out a breath he hadn't quite realized he was holding and sweep you into the most romantic kiss you've ever seen outside of a hallmark movie.

cg!the batman (2004) headcannons ᯓᡣ𐭩
x - x - x
—DNI NSFW—
· likes to pretend he’s a single parent even though it’s Alfred teaching him how to take care of you
· Makes comments on what the butler picks out for you- “Won’t it be chilly today? What if he catches a cold?”…”Master Bruce, I assure you, I’ve checked the forecast.”
· Has Alfred teach him how to cook breakfast so he can make food for you.
· Likes holding you close to his chest and whispering in your ear to make you go to sleep- is very advanced in the art of staying up late too make sure you get sleep- Alfred takes over when it becomes clear that Bruce needs sleep just as much as you do. He lays you down on your tummy and gently pats and rubs your back against your onesie to soothe you to sleep. He’ll play old records too.
· Bruce acts out the stories he reads to you. Literally. He can’t tell a story without setting up some sort of fortress and moving around it in a manner that makes you giggle. Anything to make you laugh.
· You hang off of him every chance you get. He doesn’t even have to be holding you for you to be hanging off of his shoulder or arm.
· You present to be the most well behaved little boy at the multitudes of dinner parties and charity balls that your dad hosts. Both Alfred and Bruce fret over you constantly but you manage to woo the crowd every chance you get.
· You prove to be a much better novice cook than your Dad, which he playfully sulks at before surprise picking you up and tickle attacking you.
· Not too much tv time- Alfred makes sure you’re always occupied whenever Bruce is away. Whether that be playing with toys or dancing on his toes to your favorite sounds with a wide smile on your face.
· You prove to be a much better novice cook than your Dad, which he playfully sulks at before surprise picking you up and tickle attacking you.
· Your sleep schedule is never really set. Whenever Alfred or Bruce puts you down to bed you end up sneaking down to the batcave, wide awake. You’re quite the stealth master yourself so Bruce only knows you're down there when Ace comes out of the darkness. Both just sigh at your insistence on staying up.
· You’re homeschooled. Everyone knows that Bruce- millionaire playboy who invests so much in his company his workers are prim and pampered-is your caretaker. So it’s not wise to just send you out into the world thinking nobody’s gonna at least try to kidnap you because of who you are. Besides, you don’t like the attention it brings.
· When you’re regressed to smaller ages and don’t like to be away from your Dad you have a little spot carved out in the batcave. Alfred likes to put you in baby jail a lot- a room with all your favorite toys directly across from the kitchen which he can see into.
· In the summer you guys garden. A bunch. Carrots, peas (bleh), parsley, tomatoes, beans, potatoes, and much much more. You don’t necessarily like getting your hands dirty but it’s fun when both your dad and Alfred are around.
· You and your Dad go sit underneath a tree when it’s especially hot and just enjoy the breeze and sounds. You usually fall asleep in his lap while he reads. You’ve forced him to recognize early on that his life can’t just be all work and no play. And the fear of leaving you early on to fend for yourself is still there, a blight on many of his days with you. It’s not like they’re numbered- more the suddenness of it.
· Leaving you without him is similar to the suddenness of a slammed door and the resounding quietness afterwards. Just like his parents did. In the blink of an eye, a mere snap of a finger, a subsequent pulling of the trigger. It’s instant. But he can’t live his life in fear. Knowing that without you the sweetness of life wouldn’t be fully realized.
· That he’d miss out on so many silly moments that only you could come up and he be the benefactor of. Being Batman is not so much about avenging his parents deaths anymore, but protecting those kids who would otherwise be out of luck if he didn’t exist. In a way, he does it for you.
· It’s what makes him clench you that much tighter despite the heat and the cicadas. What makes him hold your hand tighter at those annoying dinner parties. What makes him feel just that much lighter when he’s around you. What makes him work harder when it comes down to the nitty gritty of being a vigilante.
· You have one stuffed animal despite your Dads insistence on buying you more. It’s well-loved and you make sure whenever Alfred goes to wash it that he’s very gentle despite just how many times he’s gone about the task of washing said stuffie.
· He loves spoiling you, whether it be coming home with sweets you like (macarons hands down.) or bringing you toys and pacifiers and babas. It’s frankly impossible to get him to stop spending money on you. You rarely ask for anything but when you do oh boy you better hope he doesn’t buy multiples of the exact same thing just for you.
· What you do have in multitudes is blankets. Dozens of them on you and your dads bed for you and Ace to snuggle into.
· Bruce and Alfred always like to remind you that they love you. For Bruce it’s a quick kiss on the cheek that he pulls you into. For Alfred, a squeeze of your hand whenever you guys are out (especially during the cold months) or an ask for a little hand when he’s baking a sweet treat.
· Bruce is always peeling or cutting your fruit you. He learned from Alfred and now just likes the mundanity that comes with plating cut up and small digestible foods on your cute little separated plate and placing it in front of you while your playing pretend with something he carved.
· You very often go to Wayne tower with him. You curiously mock and observe all the little human quirks about your dad that people don't tend to pick up on.
note: There are different renditions of Batman everywhere. This specific rendition (The Batman, 2004) follows a younger, more naive Bruce Wayne who is just settling into his role as Batman- thus my headcannons might seem a bit out of character from the one you might be used to. However, this one, is not. This Batman is one I’ve known in particular for a very long time (been watching and rewatching this one since I was 14) and thus I write more about him because that’s what I feel comfortable with. He isn’t out of character, he’s just a different version.
#note at the end not meant in a bad way 😬#🧃; scribblescrabbles#🖇️ ; paperclips#bruce should get a cat#il y a un chat dans ton maison!!!#mais aussi…il y a un chien dans ton maison…#agere fandom#fandom agere#batman agere#this is everyone’s annual reminder that i’m still very immersed in the dcu lant talks to me about it all the time /aff

Shigaraki Tomura, Izuku Midoriya, and their past selves in Horikoshi's other works, an Analysis.
How their archetypes can be traced back all the way to Hori's oldest works!
Today I finally felt with the energy to write this analysis I've been cooking in my head for some months!
I'll be pulling apart the core elements of each of Hori's past work's protagonist duo and how they are essential to everything Hero Academia has became
It will be long.
First things first, let's start with Horikoshi's first work ever!
1. Tenko One Shot.
This tale tells us the story of two main characters, Hana and obviously, Tenko!
Hana is a woman aspiring to be a samurai, she is hopeful and stubborn, but is shunned down by most and ridiculed by other samurais for being, well, a woman wanting to be something only men can be.
But just like Izuku, she is VERY stubborn, and won't give up her dreams at all.
( You can read the full thing here btw! https://imgur.com/a/v7oBkfx )
Our second protagonist, and main tittle of the story, is a little boy called Tenko, who she meets when he literally attacked her lol
Like Tomura, he has the power to decay anything he touches, and is in seek of revenge, his goal is to destroy all swords after his mother was cruelly killed by a samurai.
Despite all the hatred the feels, he is still a kid, suffering and crying in seek of relief for his grief.
He is known as a vandal, and is being wanted dead or alive by the authorities for interfering in battles.
Hana, gentle and caring, notices the pain in Tenko and takes him with her, to take care of him, after all, he is just a child.
But after being found by an official, believes she has the chance to be recognized as a samurai if she give Tenko to the authorities, and well- it obviously goes terribly wrong- as she is attacked by them instead.
Suddenly realizing how cruel they truly are, she takes her own sword and fight them to defend Tenko, making Tenko also realize, swords can be used to protect and save.
In the end, they end up to saving each other, Hana saving Tenko's heart, making him realize his hatred will never lead anywhere, and lift the weight of his chest by winning a friend, and Tenko making Hana realize war is more than what she thought.
Tenko obviously, is literally Tomura's first prototype, the decay power, the white hair, the hatred, guilt and grieve are all there.
But what if I told you Hana is also, pretty similar to Izuku? Both have a dream that is deemed impossible to reach, due to something they lack, and are a joke to most people, but despite it all they never give up, and manage to reach their goals. They are also strong but gentle and caring ( ngl Izuku might even be more soft than Hana ajhdka)
2. Oumagadoki Zoo
This one, guess what, also have a female protagonist, yes also called Hana.
Aoi Hana is a bubbly, awkward and stubborn girl with her head in the clouds, but teased by everyone, known as "good for nothing" and useless.
She then decides to get a job during summer break, to prove she is more than capable of helping.
As an animal lover, she gets a job at the local Zoo as a cleaner, but she discover that the Zoon principal is a literal bunny person.
Shiina, the other protagonist of the story, is a man-child dude, he was cursed as a kid for being mean to a bunny, turned into a rabbit until he learned to be kind and help animals. Much like Tomura, he is short tempered, a gremlin, a little bitch!
He created the zoo to try to break the curse, and now counts with Hana's help to do so. The zoo, by the way, is also full of cursed half human half animal people!
The manga was canceled, so Hori had to rush the end, it has only 5 volumes, but I believe it would end with Hana finally breaking Shiina's curse.
Well, the similarities to Tomura? Once again through the roof, he is literally Tomura without depression (and scars and wrinkles)! He is a brat, selfish, intelligent and powerful, but incredibly dumb, he even refers to the other zoo people as "comrades" the exact same word Tomura refers the League of Villains as! They even sit down the same, careless way! Bad posture kings 🦐
Now, I think you noticed that Hana's story is also familiar? Yes! IZUKU
Both are deemed useless, are clumsy and awkward, and have pretty much low self esteem, but are kind, gentle and loving, and have an altruistic heart!
Just like in Tenko, Hana is key to saving Shiina's heart, and both learn a lot with each other, as Shiina sees the worth in Hana, and Hana sees the kindness in Shiina, evolving each other to the better.
3. Shinka Rhapsody One shot
This one is pretty much lost media, very few people know about it, but i found a thread about it
(thread here https://twitter.com/HeroFletch/status/1273054822162456578 )
It is literally MHA but the quirks work in a different way
This time the first protag is the man and the girl is the second, but it doesn't matter lol
The story happens in a world similar to the one of the raise of quirks in MHA, criminal rate is all time up.
The protagonist Magari/Masashi(idk) is, again, a guy with strong personality, seeking for revenge and power, as his family was murdered by a serial killer
He got a power similar to Kirishima's, but oh boy his face and personality is just Tomura all over again, Hori's favorite OC
And guess what??? Ohh he also has a female companion helping him???? YES HE DOES!
Her name is Aoi, yes, like Aoi Hana from the zoo one, yes guess what, yes, bubbly awkward, yes.
She is an aspiring detective and has the habit of asking people if they like Katsudon, her favorite food.
Wait... Katsudon? As favorite food... Where I saw this before-
4. Boku no Hero One shot.
here if u wanna read https://yesmangas1.com/manga/boku-no-hero-ym23733/one-shot#1
This one is a break to the pattern, no Shigaraki look alike, no Aoi Hana, but, someone who is pretty similar to her in personality:
Jack Midoriya
Jack Midoriya is a quirkless man in a super society, his job is to sell support items, but he is too awkward, clumsy and stubborn, causing more problems than helping, he has an impossible dream of becoming a hero, so he tries to become the first quirkless hero! (it goes wrong)
There is a girl in this story too, i guess she is this Izuku's Uraraka, they are both literally the same in personality, so i guess hori Split Hana in two for this one.
5. Barrage or Sensei no Bulge
(the second tittle is so funny lmao)
This time hori completly threw everything out and said: fuck the pattern, fuck Hana, fuck Tenko wanabe!
It has literally nothing to do with anything he did previously. Astro, can be similar to Izuku, but hmmm not fit the mold, so i'll just skip lmao, it also was canceled, ending in 2 volumes anyways.
SUMMARY AND CONCLUSION
So far, we can conclude a very recurrent pattern in every work Horikoshi publicized (except barrage lolz)
Protagonist 1:
Is a gentle, caring, stubborn, clumsy and awkward person, they have a heart of a hero, but are often seen as weak, useless, and stupid for dreaming too high. They can be strong when they want to, but feminine and loving too, they are altruistic, loyal, and focused. Their role in the story is to find their own self worth, as well as help the 2nd protagonist break free from a torment.
Protag 2:
A selfish, childish, mean and also stubborn boy, who's heart is filled with hatred, hurt and grief, they are cursed somehow, and besides having a rough exterior, deep inside they are still just a child who seeks relief. Their role in the story, is to after Protag 1 advances, open up and allow themselves to be saved in heart and mind.
Of course, due to the past series length of few pages to only a few volumes, they open up to each other and befriend rather quickly, but MHA is well- 40 volumes long by now, ofc course P.2 will give much more trouble to open up, it's not that easy to cure someone's bitterness and guilt!
Which leads to Horikoshi's last work, My Hero Academia.
The story of protagonist 1 incarnated as a mix of every character Hori wrote before as Izuku Midoriya, a quirkless boy who feels useless, but has a big dream, a kind heart and the desire to save.
And also the story of MHA's society's biggest victim, a childish man who has been hurt in every possible way, by every person he dared to trust, be it his own family or his "sensei", Tomura Shigaraki is nothing but a child at heart, crying onto his puppy, waiting for the one who will save him.
This is undeniable, I was already sure with everything I've read in MHA that Tomura is getting saved, Izuku yelled it himself, and the narrative is walking towards that.
But after analyzing Hori's part works, and see how wholesome and hopeful his stories are, how he desires to transmit the message that everyone deserves a second chance, i have no doubt.
Tomura is DESTINED to be not only saved, redeemed or live, but to have a happy ending and finally have a friend to trust.
As every story so far ended with the kind one befriending and becoming a pillar to the hurt one.
Izuku and Tomura are more than the heart of My hero Academia, but also the heart of everything Horikoshi wants to tell to the world.
They are fated to end the same way every time, in every universe.
BESTIES ARC IS COMING.

Hello! I've been reading and liking your posts on Hazbin Hotel (especially the analyses of Angel - he's my favourite character!) and I wondered if I could ask you something about Huskerdust?
It's something that's been playing on my mind that I'd be interested to get another perspective on.
I ship Huskerdust, like many Hazbin fans, but I'm aware that not everyone likes it. And I've seen the arguments about Angel's initial treatment of Husk and whether it was sexual harassment and how much that ruins the Huskerdust ship and so on.
One point I see made a lot is this:
"If Angel was a straight man and Husk was a woman, everyone would agree that this behaviour was creepy and wrong and no-one would ship those two! But because Angel is gay and Husk is a man, it's fine apparently? No!"
It's been stuck in my head. And I've not seen many Huskerdust defenders addressing the claim (apart from, like, one YouTube comment I doubt I'll be able to find again).
So I'm turning to you because I enjoy reading your Angel Dust posts and you're pretty good at pointing out flaws in haters' arguments.
What would your response to that be?
OMG thank youuu!!! I also love your posts, specially how you mix Angel with Jessica Rabbit, she's gorgeous, I simp for both of them honestly 😭
Ok ok. Now, let me sigh veeeery heavily because 'anti-Angel Dust' requires a lot of patience to deal with. Huskerdust only came to be because Angel stopped his behaviour, which everyone, including the writters, know it was fucked up. Their argumentation ends there, to begin with.
(tw: SA, rape)
And this take "If Angel was a straight man / If Husk was a woman" is beyond delusional. Guys, do anyone here thinks being creepy and pushing boundaries is ok? No, right? Literally no one thinks that's ok. Angel don't think that's ok. This is why he stopped. This is why, even before opening up to Husk, he stopped the moment Husk pushed him away. It was clear to him that there was a limit he wouldn't cross. Notice how they 'dehumanize' (he's a demon spider but, you got it) Angel to "a creep", ignore his victimhood AND shamelessly wish for him to not be loved because of a mistake he committed AND fixed it, but then Huskerdust fans are the wrong ones? Angel is overly hated (and lied about btw) because 1, he's a victim, 2, he's an imperfect victim, and 3, he makes mistakes *because* of his victimhood, but idk, his haters live in some alternative reality where a gay man victim of human trafficking is well accepted and understood. Even if their hatred towards the character proves the opposite.
Angel didn't do anything he can't amend for. Do these people also think the shipp was "ruined" because Husk was an Overlord in the past? No, right? Obviously not, the AMOUNT of Angel haters that justify and ignore Husk's flaws is absurd. Husk also pushed Angel's emotional boundaries and made unnecessary rude comments about his work. Is he a monster for that? Obviously not, the moment he realized what Angel was going throught, he changed his perspective completely and that should be the case with everyone. Because yes, Angel's victimhood DOES matter, his hypersexuality is a coping mechanism, a facade, all of this matters, it matters SO MUCH MORE than Angel asking for Husk to bang him. "But it doesn't justify" boohoo Sherlock Homes, Angel stopped his behaviour. There, satisfied? Lol no because hating a victim is never enough, always a new reason (I also wish Angel would verbally apologize, that would be great too, and Huskerdust is still a slow burn, always keep that in mind). Angel is a victim of human trafficking. It's not Val being mean to him, it's Val using him as a slave. A slave. Rape. Collective rape. Sex trafficking. Sex slavery. Yall know what that means?
Here, an example and a study about how enduring abuse fucks up your brain.
https://www.bianj.org/abuse-brain-injury/
https://www.npr.org/2024/03/13/1238225255/domestic-violence-is-now-recognized-as-a-leading-cause-of-traumatic-brain-injury
Imagine how Angel's brain is. Like. Angel haters, I know putting yourselfs in someone's place is not your thing, specially when you have to weaponize someone's gender identity and sexuality to make a point, but imagine having your brain deformed by years of abuse. Abuse from the person you once loved. Bad, right?
It's just that Angel's haters are unable to analyze any kind of nuance. Doing a bad thing, like pushing boundaries, doesn't make you an irredimable person. Angel, because of his hypersexuality caused by years of severe abuse and isolation, harrassed Husk. He realized he fucked up. He stopped. Husk also seem extremely guilty for his past. They're both owned by people that have pleasure in torturing others, violating every single part of their body, mental state and soul. See the difference?
Victims aren't perfect. Victims will make mistakes. Husk is also a victim (by Alastor), and he also makes mistakes... HUGE mistakes, cause you know, being a Gambling Overlord... not the best vibes. Angel's haters should really stop pretending to care about poor Husk's feefees and just admit they don't want a victim to find love and peace.
...ANYWAY. Sorry, Chrysalys, for the big ass response but I feel like I said everything I wanted to. I hope the haters didn't changed your perspective about the shipp! Because, as yourself said in your amazing analysis, they're not perfect people, but they're perfect for each other. Huskerdust is precisely what a wholesome, healthy couple is, even with two flawed people: they talk and communicate about their problems. They opened up. Understood each other. Support each other. I reblogged someone joking about how Huskerdust was able to make in one episode what Stolitz didnt to in two seasons LMAO
#''stop babying angel'' they say while babying husk and every other character#i see the same people making excuses for blitz. who also harrassed moxxie#HE STOPPED! he stopped too. great i love his friendship with moxxie. i love blitz i want him to be happy#but like. at least be consistent#stella and verosika committed sa and they have multiple stans#why is angel trying his hard to cope with the horrifying shit he goes throught suddenly a bad guy?#*sighs* anyway i gonna listen to some relaxing asmr#hazbin hotel#angel dust#huskerdust#hazbin hotel husk#tw: rape#tw: sa
