I was just thinking about how I miss you! To specify, not your fic updates so much as your general hilarious and genuine internet presence. To condense- I am working on a comeback and being more lively. I needed the break, though, and to recalibrate what I enjoy about being here, as well as affirm my circle of friends and just spend more time among them as a reminder that the few deeply awful people who find their way in are in a small minority.

This break has been really wonderful, though, even if I've been less charming on main. I've made new friendships across my usual ships and spent more time among older friendships that I wasn't doing the best job maintaining.

And I freed myself from the obligation of writing nearly 30k words a week, and updating multiple times a week and wow wouldn't you know it, that was stressing me out HAHA. I'm wading back in. I needed to just see nothing ACOTAR related for a while, to block better, and just remove all the discourse from my brain.

Yeah yeah curate your experience but ah. It does work lmao.

I hope you (and everyone) knows how supported I've felt, and how genuinely grateful I am for everyone who has sent nice messages that are currently languishing in my askbox, along with all the silliness I've been staring at, trying to think of something equally silly to say back.

Both of them, these idiots are equally obnoxious. They try to outdo in each other in this fun, weird, flirty contest.

I’m gonna say it’s more likely to be Maehara first though lmao. He’s very open and passionate, and I could see him trying to mess with Karma and openly compliment him. He’ll use very creative pick-up-lines in front of everyone.

Karma isn’t put off though. He takes it as a challenge and rolls with it, trying his very best not to blush. He’ll smoothly respond with another flirty remark, and if he’s feeling especially bold, maybe go for physical affection...which is very unlike Karma.

They go back and forth trying to outdo each other with PDA, then it moves from that to outlandish gifts. Maehara buys him tons of flowers and leaves a love letter at his doorstep. I’m so sad, I liked her. I hope we can still win her back to our side. She seemed so surprised every time we treated her decently, I think there’s a chance. She probably got into this plot before she got to know us.

Liam is the only LI who doesn’t meet you in the hedge maze if you’re his LI. On the one hand, getting the king to sneak out is a whole nother level, but also he’s likely to have a big part in next week’s plot. 

The poor guy is also still definitely in love with you, even if you softened the blow with the closure option. And he’s especially taking it hard if you’re with Drake. We’ll see how those things go together. 

Olivia disappeared! Before cake. For their plot to work, they still need her around to make her queen. She’s loyal to Liam no matter what, but I’m still holding out hope that befriending her or not is going to play a part whether that loyalty extends completely to you. 

She was also our strongest defense, what with all her knives and proclivity for stabbing. So Olivia is likely to be okay, but who knows if they will be.
