They stay later and later. The storage closet becomes a shared living space for them. Martin hasn’t noticed. Tim doesn’t know what to say to get his friends back. They’re losing themselves in the Archives. They egg each other on. They start becoming more paranoid. Jon is so endlessly, doggedly loyal. This is the only person who can understand him. This is the only person who he has ever understood. They love each other so so much.

i just thought of something i think Mokuba would have a "girl help" phase where he randomly cries out to some "girl" entity about petty stuff or to complain about his brother like "girl help my brother is going to be late to his only brothers graduation cuz he gotta look at laptop screen some more" "mokuba its crucial for our next launch-" "girl help hes not even dressed yet" and then it quickly turns into an inside joke to pray to the BEWD like "Blue Eyes White Dragon Help I Cant Lose This Bet i have NO MONEY" "NO Blue Eyes White Dragon Help ME I told him not to blow all his money on stupid collectibles"

all that culminating in real moment of KC employees witnessing their CEO pinch the bridge of his nose at a failed trial, expecting him to start grilling them but he lets out an exasperated "Blue Eyes White Dragon Help" and goes back to the control panel and theyre all like ?????????? we do that now????????

Another tip for TMNT fanartists (and fanfic authors who write injury)! I know quite a few of you are aware, but just for those who aren't:

If you wanna explore a take with more turtle-ish biology...

Reminder that turtle shells aren't just attached to their bodies. Their spine and ribs are attached to them directly.

This can sort of be seen in 2012 TMNT, when the turtles got electrocuted those couple of times. I think it's a good combination of the human skeleton and turtle skeleton that actually doesn't look the most awkward. Like the ribcage spanning the area of the shell, and also the widened pelvis in exchange for making the ribcage almost all the way down the shell.

And while not the most visible, in some shots, the spine curves further back into the shape of the carapace. Even if only slightly.

For a more extreme example? Note this example doesn't quite match the more humanoid leaning parts of the mutant turtles, but, just as an extra point:

An artist, Satoshi Kawasaki, created various illustrations of a human skeleton with animal skeletal structure.

The turtle one looks like this:

Take this as you will.

Also draw and write the turtles' skeletons however you want lmao, this was just something I wanted to share because I may or may not be a huge nerd.

Even the Battle Nexus is transformed into a more Ninja Warrior-esque competition…

Honestly, it’s all just interpersonal drama. It’s a lot of custody battles and divorcees getting back together lmao

The biggest villain of this au is Loneliness and Guilt.

Oh do y’all remember me saying that I have a crush on a manager that works at my store?

The crush hasn’t changed BUT I was doing some tasks for my manager around the store yesterday, and I saw THE manager and she was standing with a new Team Lead for her department.

She saw me and asked if i was ready for my test, and i laughed and said “not in the slightest.” She laughed and said “you’ll do great.” And then proceeded to introduce me to the Team Lead and said “this is Emmalyne, she’s a very interesting person, just look at her jeep! She’s taking her ROI test tomorrow and she’s gonna be a bakery manager.”

I had to turn away bc my face was BRIGHT red from the compliments. And she used my full name instead of my nickname.

Jonsasha is always delicious to me but there’s something special about a roleswap au that calls to me, y’know?

Like. Just their season four dynamic?? I stand firm in my belief that if the Eye didn’t take Jon then he’d be ripe for the Lonely. But even then I don’t think he would forget the appeal of Beholding. Would he understand her need to feed? Would she have told him about her hunger back before the Unknowing, when it looked like they would both sink into the Eye together?

Maybe I’ll come back to this later because right now I’m too tired to be coherent but I was just. gripped. by the idea of Jon getting the statement about Sasha feeding on others and covering it up. Because she’s good, and she needs this, and he loves her. Does he somehow send the statement to her? Hide it? Destroy it? I don’t even know but I’m just so caught up in the idea of it. Solidarity between the only two people in the Archives who truly feel the call of Beholding. A devotion that Sasha may never know about. An understanding Jon feels too strongly. I don’t know if amy of this even makes sense I’m just gone on the pining…

Ooo okay so we got a new boss at work bc of management and staffing and shit its a long story, anyway. We work with a lot of heat so we're always bringing in lotions and stuff so our hands dont crack open, mine was running out so I brought a new one. Unopened.

I always take my lunch break around noon bc the break room mostly clears out around then and I can eat in peace, but today I didn't bring lunch so I went to get tacos.
