there are some things that make me feel super uncultured, including:

• not knowing anything about anime

• not having read enough desi comics (including going “huh?” when people mention super commando dhruva or suppandi or something)

• not understanding elaborate poetry (recently picked up a second hand college poetry collection and I don't understand anything ;-;)

• not getting certain pop culture references

• not knowing my meme history

• not knowing enough weird facts (never have enough of these)

I shall work on all of these starting today (or tomorrow), and I'll tag it all as #aalu's cultural assimilation
