Lan: I drew her a bath to help her relax. Threw in a bathbomb, did some of that aromatherapy crap I know she likes, even got some rose petals!

Mega: ...We don't have a rose bush. Where did you get the petals on short notice?

Lan: Uh, well...if Ms. Tamaki asks, you never saw me

Mega: I would lecture you over that but now's not the time. I need to make my apology to Mayl but I wanted to make something for her to eat. Help my case, y'know?

Lan, grabbing a mixing bowl: Waaay ahead of you. She's been craving sour stuff this week, so I thought, "Why not making cookies with sour gummy worms!"

Mega: Lan, that sounds disgusting!

Lan: Actually it sounds pretty good to me. Maybe I should making them chocolate chip too...

Mega: Are you having cravings?

Lan: No, I just like sugar and gummy worms, we've been over this

Mega: Whatever, I'll help you bake them, then when Mayl gets out of the bath I'll present them to her with my apology

Lan: ...If you want what's best for your apology case, you'll let me do all the cooking

King Candy… Cane?

My version of King Candy! And finally talking about my AU:

While he remains an unstable character (I mean, he still took over Sugar Rush), he has more compassion for those around him and is constantly haunted by the guilt he feels after the incident. For 10 long years, Turbo has been hidden in solitude and is desperate to race again. It’s in his code.

When he sees that a new racing game has been connected to the arcade, he decides to infiltrate it, this time with more caution. He modifies the code to his liking, inserting himself into the game and using an unused character as his avatar.

As King Candy, he explores his new realm and eventually meets Vanellope. As he observes her, he notices that she is a glitch and witnesses what she has to endure every day. KC feels guilty, knowing that it was ultimately his fault that she ended up in this state, and he decides to take her under his wing.

At first, he is reluctant to get attached to the young racer, but as he gets to know her, he realizes that they are not so different; there is something about her that reminds him of himself… and the twins.

Over time, he adopts her, and for the first time in a long while, Turbo feels like he belongs, even though the weight of his past still haunts him.

He is still very controlling of everything in his kingdom, making sure everything stays in order, but he wants to be a good king to his people. He is very paranoid about another unplugging and acts overprotective over the game and even Vanny.

I love a good villain, and I love to challenge myself to rewrite said villain to have a redemption arc.

First doodle I did of him. Decided to change his color palette to something more Turbo-like, keeping the red and white ande re-using them to make a candy cane pattern!

I’ve been taking antibiotics for an infection, and it’s been messing with my stomach really badly. So I thought I would try drinking some kombucha for the first time, because it’s supposed to be probiotic, and I can’t eat yogurt because of a milk allergy.

I don’t know exactly what I expected it to taste like, but damn. It is SO acidic. It feels like I am trying to consume battery acid.

The taste is just sour. It’s so, so sour.

But honestly, I could ignore the taste if it didn’t feel like I was pouring gasoline down my throat.

How do people drink this stuff???

Silly Game Time: What are some of your favorite kinds of candy or sweets in general?

I've just been staring at this ask all day and drawing a near complete blank. I'm more of a spice person, so when I eat sweets it's usually just whatever's around.

I tend to prefer sour/acidic things? Tamarind, lemon, lime, other citrus--and that includes in desserts like cheesecake. I can say with confidence though that I do NOT like nutella or most cakes.

I'll also go for cinnamon or mint. But yeah I'll have to circle back to this I'm for real stumped
