An amazing Mary fancast I never saw anyone talk about has to be Nikita Uggla (Felice from Young Royals specifically). It's her whole vibe that just gives of so much Mary energy, idk how to explain it. I mean, just look at her:

I love the idea of Emmrich/Dalish!Rook because I can’t stop picturing him making a comment at the VJ camp to which Nas’revas is like:

“This isn’t a Dalish clan. The Veil Jumpers are a collection of Fade and Ancient Elvhen enthusiasts, not a Dalish clan”

& then she proceeds to bring him to her clan. Clan Surana, a clan known to have resided solely in the Elvhen ruins of Arlathan since its fall. The clan that uses Fade bubbles to create pockets in space where they don’t have to worry about trespassers or threats. A clan that uses a touch of magic in their vallaslin that resonates with those fade pockets so they can enter freely without getting lost. The clan that takes all extra mages from other clans so that they can grow up safe & keep their original clan safe.

Her mother is a welcomed “guest” & she has to save the explanation for another time because soon her siblings have come by & Emmrich, an only child, is now meeting Nas’revas’ young siblings: 2 younger brothers, a set of fraternal twins, & a little girl who gives him a wreath of flowers in welcome. He learns that her grandfather is the Keeper, her grandmother was the lead hunter before she retired, & that many of the elves who tend to things are her aunts & uncles.

She lets him experience her clan with her, answering questions & introducing him to her extended family. It’s probably a huge whirlwind to meet so much family when he’s so used to just himself & Manfred; to see how bountiful it is & how she sweeps him into it with ease.

They have dinner in one of the bigger tents set up, big enough for them all to have their own sitting place as Nas'revas & Sil'lean pass along the plates of food & sides. Nasi remembered to tell her mom to make a vegetarian main dish for Emmrich, so that he can fully experience the evening with her family. Tea is served after & Emmrich is on his third by the time Nas'revas starts to yawn, the man having gotten caught up in conversation with Sili whose youngest daughter has fallen asleep in her lap during their talk.

It warms his heart, how close the family is, how warm the culture is, & he can't help but keep the memory in his back pocket the closer he & Nasi become. The idea of them having such a warm & jovial future together, filled with love & laughter, is a comfort when the fear of his passing looms.

Casper the Friendly Ghost was my childhood, ok? Many shows and movies, I saw. Including the old cartoons and movies.

So, Casper has a ghost cousin. The kid was a typical ghost: scaring people, pulling pranks, doing mischief and mayhem, being an asshole, etc.

Casper tries to stop him and teach him to be polite and friendly, even saves him from fuck-ups.

But the cousin (I Google says his name is “Spooky”) never catches on to Power of Friendship. Avoids it as if it’s the cooties.

I don’t recall meeting Spooky outside of then. I wonder what happened.

I know there’s been a lot of speculation and HOPE that more of the Intrepid Heroes join the CR table when we switch back to the other half of the party and I’m gnawing my hand off for Brennan to be one but I hope the other is Murph because we haven’t had someone with a dice curse that bad since Wil Wheaton and I wanna see if he rolls better outside of the dome.

I don't know if this is problematic, but reading about your big men makes me like to imagine them with partners who don't mind seeing them get at least a little bigger. I promise I'm not trying to be fetishistic, it's just fun to see big guys who're that confident in their size. Cillian, Ove, and Eirik are my faves for this, probably.
