oh he's extremely reliant on quick things he can grab and eat on the go, especially like a carb dense bagel or smth similar. he would die without them, he'd like never eat anything.

The obvious answer here is the wings. Not because wings are bad, but because you can hit almost any good part of the chicken with the sauce and prep you do for wings and it’ll be basically just as good. The other three cast a wider net and thus forbid more foods that aren’t as easily substituted.
