I have this very very stupid marchly fic idea that I've thought about on and off for over a year and I might just say fuck it and write it since the appropriate season will be upon us soon but also... it's very silly & stupid and I'm not sure how to flesh it out even into a short one shot cause all I've really got is the idea for this scene that amuses me to no end but would probably not be an amusing funny one-off to many other ppl

#idk man. I still have my big long chaptered fic that lmao #I have to re-re start at this point #what's frustrating about it is... I have it all plotted out. it's all there. in my wip notebook.#even the newer re-writes. it's all there #I just can't make myself work on it #or anything at all really #and I hate this feeling. I just don't know what happened. I thought after I got medicated and felt better this would stop #and it hasn't and that's been really hard to deal with for me #I have never been someone who starts a bunch of stuff and then just... abandons it. I have never been someone with multiple WIPs. ever.#I start one I finish one or it goes in the garbage forever #and now it's like I have these ideas I'd ideally like to make happen. but I can't. Let's go on the 'Harvey is bisexual but only recently stopped hating himself about it' journey, shall we?

Harvey has always felt equally attracted to ladies, and to men- but he seriously repressed the 'men' part of that whole equation throughout his development, not because he was disgusted by it or anything, but because he was already convinced he was a freak, and that anything he felt was a result of that--- not to mention, it was a totally different time, and his dad was your typical white POS bigot anyway.

He spent a lot of time thinking that there was just something wrong with him- not that it was just part of who he was or that it was something that should be talked about.

I still don't think he'd be out and about like 'I fuck ladies AND gents so form a line ;)' but I think it's not beyond him to make the occasional bi-sexual joke, or just be generally okay with finding dudes pretty damn handsome too, or considering them potential romantic partners. He's just not totally used to being okay with it, but that will change once he lives with it for a while. He's had to unlearn a lot of stuff. It's quite hard sometimes.

an ex-zionist jewish man recently went a bit viral on tiktok for sharing exactly how he sees zionism tie israel to the jewish identity and his personal experience with breaking away from it - I think it’s a really great watch.

He also made a follow up talking specifically about how he learned to humanise Palestinians, and a really integral part of it was his school, which would often bring in Palestinian speakers who’d share their perspective (here’s a link to it).

#tiktok against all odds inspires a lot of hope in me bc of how prevalent palestinian support is over there #so much of the younger generation is so media literate and articulate about standing up to oppression #and getting perspectives like this I think is really beneficial when it comes to understanding where Zionist talking points come from #I don’t particularly think right now our priority should be reaching out to zionists or anything #it should always be Palestinians at the forefront of activism our activism #but this is educational.
