Tbt that one time in that one comic where Dick called Harvey the "Patron Saint of Mental Illness" or something like that and what if what if that's a joke with truth at the center?

Who else gets the 'he's mentally ill' treatment more than Harvey Dent? Of course he is. He should be getting help, or in a place where he can't act on those disordered thoughts that could hurt him or someone else.

Systemic bullshit aside,

the guy beat him to a pulp with a baseball bat. Literally crushed several of his bones, killed a man in front of him, was going to kill Batman -

Should he joke about that? No. Can he? Of course. He's in Arkham Asylum, picking at the rust on the bars of a holding cell.

I like that Dick holds a grudge against Harvey for nearly beating him to death with a baseball bat as a kid. He goes through a ton of terrible things that he never really processes or mentions again as comic book characters tend to do, so it's nice that there's a couple* he still reacts to.
