Prowl: That is true, but it is quite intriguing that both Optimus and Sari have keys that have the power of the All Spark.

Bulkhead: Soo, Optimus do you or Sari know what exactly the key is?

These are all canon btw, overexaggerated slightly but taken from actual hints and interactions from the Primes throughout continuities they are featured in.

My favorite is the unusual fact that while we see Megatronus/Solus as a main ship, Amalgamous/Nexus is also believed to be canon and Onyx was very jealous of it because he couldn't be a part of it. That is real hinted canon in the Covenant. They were together more than often and Onyx was very pissed about it.

I bury my teeth into the thought where Megatronus Prime calls Optimus 'little brother,' not out of mockery for the newest Champion ordained by Prima but because Optimus is supposed to be a reincarnated Thirteen -the youngest Prime.

Thirteen is not Prima. They don't have the same powers nor Aspects as the Eldest.

It's all mirrors and reflections and foils. A Champion of Prima to the true Megatronus Prime. A Prime that went through the Well to stay with Cybertron and the Prime that decidedly went away. The weakest to the most powerful. A Prime that never truly ascended to their true potential and forgot himself to the one that intimately knew exactly what he was the moment he stepped into existence. The Prime that time forgot and The Fallen.

It started out as a fanart doodle of Solus prime but the recent upload to @lets-try-some-writing and @spreadward's fic - A Vision of Past and Future has got me hooked. I had more fun as it went.

It is a great fic and I can’t wait for more chapters. Thank you for the effort you guys put in I wish I could kudos it every chapter.

These doodles are just my imagining of the characters when I read the fic. Not representative of authors actual designs for them in the story. They are purely my fanart appreciations.

Gotta ask about A Vision of Past and Future because I love some good Solus/Fallen angst.

I freaking love A Vision of Past and Future. Honestly I am distraught at the lack of Solus/Megatronus stuff, so I opted to fix that. Anyway, this fic is technically part of a series, but the way it is written means it can stand alone. I do most of the writing, but my co-author helps a great deal with planning. The whole focus is on the first ever family formed on Cybertron. That family happens to be the trio that is Solus, Megatronus Prime, and the Thirteenth Prime.

Most of the story follows the development of their family unit and a few other things such as the roots of written language and other small inventions made by this family that continued into the future. It explores Solus and Megatronus discovering what it is to love while Thirteen worms his way into their lives as an apprentice and eventually comes to be like a son to them. But of course, history is history and in the end, this fic will show what exactly led to the fall of this first ever family unit and the chaos of that broken connection.

Anyway, here is a snippet from a few chapters ahead.

"Thirteen, what are you doing?" Solus stood up from her chair in concern as the last of the Primes remained firmly in place. He stood firmly before the gathered assembly of Primes, his armor shifting to accommodate him as he reached up to touch his faux vocalizer.

"Solus, be seated. I believe the youngest of our number has something to say." Prima gestured for Solus to settle down and Megatronus clutched the edge of his seat in concern. This was highly unusual. Thirteen had only been given his faux vocalizer a few cycles ago. What could he possibly have to say to all the Primes?

"But-" Solus began before Megatronus reached over and gently grasped her servo. He shook his helm and pulled her slowly into her seat to watch as Thirteen steeled himself. The youngest of the Primes seemed to vent deeply, the glowing orbs that served as his optics flashing white as he prepared. His faux vocalizer spit static as he focused on it. Then, after a moment of tense silence, Megatronus heard his ward speak his name for the very first time.

"I am Optimus Prime, and no longer shall I remain voiceless."

Arisen Prime, The Thirteenth

i thought its the best for me to finish the roster with the guy that introduced me to the world of Transformers. (yes, this is '07 movie optimus himself)

honestly drawing him is such a struggle. spent a whole day deciding his color and then spent another day thinking do i give him the title of "the 13th" or "the last knight"? i went with the former as a call back when i started this with "the first".

So if you've watched TFA you know the Prime is a military title, but what if it wasn't just a military title but the title was stolen and used as a military title to get rid of the history of the 13 Primes of Old (the 13 original)

So Primus wakes up or something and sees how shitty Cybertron's become and decides to reincarnat his first creations (with there consent of course) and he knew Alpha Trion would be extadic to have his siblings back. And of course Optimus is the reincarnation of 13, but has to hide it till the time is right. Cause due to the fact of Cybertron barring the 13 if ge revealed himself to the council he'd most likely be killed or something.

So it just goes like this

Optimus; on earth thinking: I know creator, and Alpha said to keep it a secret but it wouldn't hurt to tell them right? I mean we're not on Cybertron.

A few minutes later

Optimus: Ratchet, I really need to talk to you privately.

Ratchet: Sure kid whatcha need

Optimus: Well..... do u know about the Primes of old?

Ratchet: I've heard bits and peices why?

Optimus: ok so thus might sound crazy but I do have proof, I am the 13th prime. *Optimus reverts back to his original frame.

Ratchet: Holy scrap kid.. if anyone on Cybertron finds out you could be- be

Optimus: Killed, or imprisoned I know, but I feel like I can trust you Ratchet.... don't make me regret this please.

Like just imagin if Megatron knew about the Primes of old and only respected then and found out the one who could defeat him has the youngest true Prime, and that Optimus/13 was possibly holding back so he didn't get discovered. It would be better if one of the Decepticons were a reincarnation of one of the 13 original Primes.

TFP: THE CHILD OF ORDER

Long ago, when the Thirteen original primes defeated the evil god known as UNICRON the chaos bringer. Life on Cybertron began to thrive, with the Thirteenth as its protectors.

But even after the successful defeat of the evil deity. New conflict occurred, as new and more dangerous threats arose. The Thirteenth then realized that their time as Cybertron’s protectors was limited. As they knew they would not always be there to protect and watch over it.

And so, a powerful creation was made to be Cybertron’s hidden hope.

With the Allspark’s aide, the Thirteen primes sacrificed a piece of their own sparks, their power, their essence, to create the most powerful being imaginable.

A being whose sole purpose was to ensure that no threat would harm Cybertron or its people.

First, I wanted to thank you so much for sharing your opinion on the first chapter of my fanfic. I just published chapter 2 in case you're interested. Now, my question of the day: What's your interpretation of how the rest of the Original Primes died? Because in the novels, I don't think the final fates of those who survived the War of the Primes, like Prima and Megatronus (RID 2015 doesn't count), are ever confirmed; they simply disappeared. Since they're already dead in AoP, what do you think?

So the Aligned Continuity is a mess and a half but they're all supposed to be connected. So this is all the media in that Continuity:

And despite the Aligned being inconsistent, it does reveal the fates of the Primes depending on where you look. So based on all of these, here's how the Primes have died:

Solus, who was killed by Megatronus (reason varies depending on which medium you look at)

Liege Maximo (Killed during the Great Prime War. Torn to pieces and also shot by the Requiem Blaster. However in Exiles, it is said that Liege Maximo was defeated and fled to the stars. That's still inconsistent because the grave that Megatron robbed in season 2 of TFP for the Prime arm was said to be Liege Maximo)

Onyx and the Thirteenth Prime (Onyx was mortally wounded during the War of the Primes and Thirteen wanted to live a peaceful life, only called when he is needed. Both rejoin the Well of the Allsparks for reincarnation)

Micronus also joined Onyx and the Thirteenth on their final journey to the Well.

Quintus Prime (Left Cybertron and created the Quintessons. Alpha Trion speculated that the Quintessons killed his brother.)

Vector (Didn't technically die. He sealed himself away in a pocket dimension after the Prime War was over out of grief).

Alchemist (Was said to have stayed on Cybertron with Alpha Trion but then went off into space to track down Liege Maximo. But if Liege is dead, then Alchemist would remain in hiding on Cybertron disguised as the bartender Maccadam. No confirmation on how he died.)

Prima (Disappeared after the Great Cataclysm. Death unknown)

Megatronus AKA The Fallen (Extremely mixed bag. The Covenant says he went into self-exile out of shame. RID2015 decided to make him a full on bad guy that got sealed away and was cheaply defeated. I think there was one novelization where Megatronus returns and tries to take over the Decepticons but I could be wrong.)

Nexus Prime (Split himself into his five components in order to guard weapons of the Primes, Make an appearance in Exiles but are never seen again after.)

Amalgamous Prime (Death unknown. Although descendants of his or people who found his T-Cog ended up becoming a sub-category called Shifters and/or Mutacons.)

Alpha Trion (Died during the Cybertronian war. The books say he was captured by Shockwave, so it's a possibility that the mad scientist killed him)
