house/dwelling/home = Bâr: Sindarin affable/kindly/welcoming = Nathol: Sindarin lord/master = Hîr: Sindarin

Azure (blue) represents truth and loyalty.

Purpure (purple) represents royalty, justice, and dignity.

Or (gold/yellow) and Argent (silver/white) symbolize generosity, openness, peace, and sincerity.

The Stags represent wisdom and long life strength, courage, grace, nobility, harmony, and healing.

The Swallow are known for being a bringer of good news and hope.

The Owl represents prudence, protection, and wisdom. They are a symbol of the Crusades.

In heraldry the oak tree is seen as a symbol of strength and endurance, as it leaves less easily shed in the fall than the leaves of other trees.

In heraldry the stars symbolize unity and independence, and when put together in groups, they represent a nation.

Elden could have been actually good if it had like 50 bosses that were unique instead repeating the same ones again and again

#like u fight crucible knight and then you fight one with a different weapon and then u fight one with another boss #that you've already fought like 3 times #idk #just thinking about the many ways Elden Ring was frankly dissapointing #maybe it's unfair for us to weigh it against DS1+3 and Bloodborne #since open world means it needs design changes #but like #we just don't think those design changes were good for the gameplay #but yeah #We'll play those games at least a few more times we're sure #but Idk if we'll play ER again outside of the DLC and even thats a maybe #ER also suffers from too expansive a map imo #but thats mostly because all there is to find is reskins of what you've already seen before

I`ve been playing 4-5 hours of Elden ring DLC and my take so far is that it's pretty much the same as the main game structure-wise but with a much bigger focus on quality compared to quantity. You get all the same open-world, side-dungeons, legacy dungeons, and field bosses, but the smaller size allows for each location to stand out and feel like it's worth explore. Repetitions are minimized and the scale remains engrossing. I can see Shadow of the Erdtree being much more replayable than the main game and Id overall be very happy if future games follow in its footsteps.
