A piece of home | Kerstin Casparij x Dutch!Reader
Where you're studying in Manchester and find a piece of home in Kerstin.
(Dutch / -English translation-) & @totaly-obsessed thank you for proofreading!
Woso masterlist | Words: 1.2k

As you settle in one of your favourite coffee shops, you put on your headphones and get your books and notes out of your bag. You had a big exam coming up, and you were planning on spending the morning here studying for it.
A soft tap on your shoulder is what interrupts your deep focus. You turn, and are met with the hopeful gaze of a girl. Adjusting one side of your noise-cancelling headphones you acknowledge her presence. “Hey, sorry to interrupt. I was wondering if I could sit here.” She points to the seat opposed to you. “The rest of the place is packed.” Glancing around, you realise for the first time how busy it had gotten since you had sat down about an hour ago.
“Sure, take a seat.” You smile softly at her, and move some of your books to the side. She places her coffee order on the table, “Thank you, and I promise I won’t distract you again.” You chuckle and shake your head, “You’re fine, don’t worry.”
With your headphones back on, you block out the noise in the shop again, and focus back on your notes. The girl in front of you had opened up her laptop, and was intensely watching the screen, and taking notes from time to time. A part of you wondered what you were doing, but she was just a stranger that wanted to sit down in the last empty seat in the coffee shop, and you were just the kind stranger that allowed her to. So, you push the thought to the back of your mind, and flip the page of your notebook to continue reading your notes.
The soft buzzing of your phone on the table is the next cause of your focus leaving your school work. Flipping the phone, you smiled at the name that popped up on your screen. Your little sister pulling a silly face covers your screen as you pick up the facetime call. “Hey kleintje.” -Hey little one.- You say with a big smile on your face, “Ik ben aan het leren in een café dus ik kan niet lang bellen, maar hoe was school?” -I’m studying in a coffee shop, so I can’t call long, but how was school?- Since you moved to Manchester to study abroad, you have called with her every single day. Your mom had been nervous to have another kid so long after she had you at eighteen. The age difference between you and your sister was twelve years, but she was your little best friend from day one. You listen to your sister tell you about her day, before you hang up the phone again, with the promise to call her for longer later that day.
You look up to find the girl in front of you looking at you. She blushes when she realises you caught her looking. “Sorry, ik probeerde niet te luisteren, maar het is goed om Nederlands te horen tussen al deze Engelse mensen.” -Sorry, i didn’t mean to listen, but it’s so good to hear Dutch amongst all these English people.- You hadn’t expected her to start talking in Dutch and were taken back slightly, before your smile grew. “Zeg dat wel, wat toevallig dat je nou net bij mij komt zitten” -You can say so, what a coincidence that you came to sit with me.- You laugh at the coincidence, before introducing yourselves to each other.
Your books and her laptop were long forgotten, as you got to know each other. Kerstin ordered the both of you another coffee, and a few croissants for lunch.
Over the next couple of months you found a piece of home in each other. You often found yourselves back at the coffee shop where you met, the shop where your love story began. It had become a part of your routine, you would study, and she would analyse matches. Having found out what she was doing on her laptop after all.
Kerstin was going to national team camp back in your home country, which was perfectly timed with your week off and week of online classes, so you headed back home with her with the plan to meet each other’s families for the first time.
While she had to meet her teammates for camp right away, you went home to your family. You opened the front door with your key, and not two seconds later your little sister jumped into your arms. “Je bent thuis!” -You’re home!- You hold her tight, “Ik heb jou ook gemist, kleintje." -I’ve missed you too little one.- It was nice being able to catch up with your sister, mom and stepdad a little before you would introduce them to your girlfriend.
After two days of training, Kerstin had a day off. You took the train and met her in Utrecht, where you spent some time together, before you headed off to meet her family first since she hadn’t seen them since she got here.
Her home felt warm, and comfortable from the moment you stepped inside and were welcomed by her parents and two brother’s with open arms. The nerves you had felt on the way here vanished instantly at how great they were. You got to know them over a home-cooked dinner, and a few boardgames after. When it was time to head to bed, you felt like you had known her family for years.

kerstin_casparij: Always 🧀ing with this one
-----
After a lovely breakfast with her family, you made the trip back to your place. This time bringing Kerstin along. With your girlfriend’s hand in yours, you let her into your home. She was welcomed just as warmly into your family as you were into hers. It made you really happy, especially since she was the first girl you had ever brought home to meet them.
Kerstin’s bubbly personality was a perfect match for the ball of energy that was your sister. You were watching them interact with each other. Your mom noticed the loving look in your eyes and nudged you slightly, “Dat zet je aan het denken, hè?” -Makes you think, right?- Her comment brought a blush to your cheeks, and made the butterflies in your stomach spring into action.
With a match to play in Breda, Kerstin had invited your family to watch the match in the family and friend’s section. She has also asked your sister if she wanted to walk onto the field with her.
You were grateful for the fans that had filmed the interactions between Kerstin and your sister, and had posted them on TikTok. They were in your favourites folder, and you were watching them on repeat back in your apartment. You were so focussed on them, that you didn’t hear Kerstin walk up behind you and watch over your shoulder.
“Hoe vaak was dat?” -How many times was that?- You turn around instantly with widened eyes. Kerstin’s smirk grows when your face looks like you felt caught. “You’re cute. Ik hou van je.” -I love you- She places a soft kiss on your lips. “Ik hou ook van jou.” -I love you too.-
She sits down beside you, and you cuddle into her side. “Klaar om je zusje te bellen?” -Ready to call your sister?-

Pt 3 - Always.
Theodore Nott x Reader
Pt 2 here
Summary: The one where the anticipated week long holiday between the friendship group turns into a certified nightmare. Alternatively: You accidentally end up rooming with Theodore.
A/N: WE’VE ENTERED THE HOLIDAY PART AND I CANT WAIT FOR WHERE THIS IS GOING TO GO WOOOOHHH
I promise the angst will eventually subside (eventually.)
REQUESTS ARE OPEN
Songs: I know you - Faye Webster
I wait for you - Alex G
By some miracle, you had all managed to get through the weeks leading up to the summer holidays and were due to travel to Pansy’s family home today. The monotony of pouring over books, frantically rummaging through essays you had written on scrolls of parchment looking for your notes had finally paid off, and exams were done. Pansy had been raving on and on about just how beautiful the quaint villa was (which seemed to be a bit of a juxtaposition) , and how they'd all have a great time. Whilst you did look forward to it, you were reminded of who would be there.
Theodore.
After that conversation in the library, things had gone from worse to even worse. In some cruel twist of fate, you seemed to see Theodore everywhere now, yet his increased presence seemed only to solidify just how much of a gap there was between the two of you.
Spending a week together both seemed terrifying and cruelly humorous. A kind of plot from a shitty rom-com, though you doubted it would turn out for the better.
The once lively (arguably messy) dorm room you shared with Pansy was now barren and bare, your belongings packed away as you waited for Pansy to finish…
Tapping the walls?
“Pans, what on earth are you doing?” You ask, and she continues knocking on random places on the wall, letting out a groan of frustration.
“I swear I had it hidden somewhere! I refuse to let some snotty little 6th-year find it.” She grumbles.
“What the fuck are you looking for? Maybe if you told me it would be a bit easier.” You respond exasperatedly, nearing your wits ends.
“My weed! I kept a stash hidden somewhere when we first came but I've been leeching off Enzo! Now I can't find it!” She huffs, throwing her arms up exasperatedly. You roll your eyes and resist the urge to slap her upside the back of her head.
“You idiot, I packed that away.” You snap, and she furrows her brows.
“What? When?” She says, and you begin to wonder whether you should even bother.
“Merlin Pansy, is your memory that bad? You asked me to take it.” You chide. Her look of confusion merges into a sheepish smile.
“Oh… Thanks!” She says, beaming as she slings her bag over her shoulder.
You resist the urge to roll your eyes for what feels like the umpteenth time as you lug your bags downstairs.
“Finally.” Draco proclaimed, ushering the attention of the group as they looked up to see you and Pansy descending. Blaise immediately goes over to take Pansy's suitcase, and she looks up at him with a bashful smile.
Woah.
What?
You raise a brow, a small smirk tugging at your lips. Lorenzo comes over to help you with your trunks, and he leans closer to you.
“You're seeing it too, right? Smitten with one another.” He whispers.
“Since when? She was flirting with Belby about a week or so ago.” you say, raising a brown.
“Exactly. Notice how Blaise wasn't there? He left for a reason.” Lorenzo gushes, as though you both were 12 and at a sleepover. You giggle lightly.
“Wanna bet on when they'll get together?” You offer, and Lorenzo nods.
“Easy. They're both too damn stubborn to confess so I bet it’ll be after the trip.” He says.
You let out a loud laugh, and they all turn to look at you and Lorenzo. Pansy raises a brow, but you're looking elsewhere. Theodore looks over at you, and how Lorenzo is leaning close to you. He has to tear his eyes away, and he swallows harshly.
It was incredible how one person could change your mood so quickly.
Stupid, really, just how much one person could affect you. You clear your throat and turn back to Lorenzo.
“I bet they'll get together during the trip. 5 Galleons?” You ask, holding out your hand. Lorenzo eyes you suspiciously, then shakes your hand.
“Deal.” He says, and a wicked grin graces your face.
“Great. That means I can do this then.” You say, walking over to Pansy and Blaise.
“Pans, can you be a dear for me? I want to room with Lorenzo, so can you room with Blaise instead please?” You plead.
Blaise raises a brow and Pansy looks at you with a pointed glare
You were helping her (and perhaps yourself).
“Isn’t Loren-” Blaise starts but you quickly cut him off.
“Please, pansy?” You say, your voice strained. You really wanted those 5 galleons. Pansy is nervous but somehow also, you can tell she’s excited. You're probing her onwards, and with a shy smile (Once again, so out of character for her), she accepts.
“Alright- only if you don't mind, Blaise?” She says, looking up at him.
He grins as he looks down at her and you watch the two with an amused look on your face.
Hopeless, really. You give it a day or two before they're together.
“Of course.” He agreed.
Damn, you were good. With a cheeky grin, you turn back to Lorenzo and wiggle your eyebrows. You had the win in the bag. You leave the two and walk back to Lorenzo, grinning as you approach him.
“Don't hate the player, hate the game” You brag, and Lorenzo has to suppress a smile.
“Good Job. You forgot one thing though, sweetheart. I’m sharing a room with Mattheo.” Lorenzo quips, and your expression drops.
“What? Pansy said-” You protest, and Lorenzo laughed.
“Yeah, originally I was sharing a room with Draco. But Draco demanded his own room because he refused to share and Mattheo ended up with me instead.” He continues.
It takes a second for the gears in your head to turn, and then you realise.
If there are 4 bedrooms, and Blaise and Pansy are in one, Mattheo and Lorenzo in the other, Draco on his own in the third, that leaves you and...
Theodore.
You were going to strangle the life out of the greasy blonde-haired git. Damn him and his scrawny little princess ass.
You suddenly feel very sick. Perhaps you should stay in Hogwarts. Summer with Snape sounds riveting now, doesn't it?
You take a deep breath, trying to hide your disappointment, but Lorenzo sees right through you and bursts into laughter.
"Looks like the game just got a whole lot more interesting, huh?" he teases, patting you on the back. You shoot him a mock glare, but inside, you're already plotting how you’ll get through this.
May the heavens above help you.
As you stood outside the, admittedly stunning villa, you began to wonder whether you could brave sleeping outdoors for a week. The old French villa stands gracefully amidst lush gardens and towering trees, exuding an air of timeless elegance. Its weathered façade is adorned with intricate wrought-iron balconies and climbing vines. A cobbled pathway leads to an arched entrance adorned with a rustic wooden door. The entrance is flanked by tall windows with faded shutters, each window framed by ornate carvings that add a touch of sophistication.
As you step inside, the foyer unfolds, grand and established. A winding staircase leads upwards, and you can't even begin to imagine how damn expensive this place was.
The rooms are filled with antique furniture and large windows adorned with heavy curtains that allow dappled sunlight to filter through, casting a warm glow on the Persian rugs that cover the floor.
Nevermind. You could tolerate it.
The group of you stand in the foyer, looking around.
“Well shit…” Mattheo murmurs under his breath, looking around. You agree with him. You couldn't even begin to comprehend how wealthy your friends were. It felt almost alienating, somehow. The rest of them seemed accustomed to such luxuries, it seemed only Mattheo and yourself weren't.
“Right. There are two en suites and two regular rooms. Blaise and I will have the first ensuite, and You and Theodore get the other. It's all the way on the top floor.” Pnays says, and you nod, insides churning at the reminder of having to share a room with Theodore. You don't even turn to look at him.
“How come you two get en suites?” Mattheo complains, and Pansy turns to him, rolling her eyes.
“Because you dimwit, we need privacy for changing. We can't exactly just strip naked in front of Blaise and Theodore.” Pansy pointed out, motioning between yourself and her.
You loved Pansy, you really did, but why did she have to word it like that? You groan internally, shaking your head.
“I'm sure they'll be doing it anyway..” Lorenzo mumbles to you, and you snicker as you look over at Blaise and Pansy. Agreeing to meet downstairs in an hour to order food, you all make your way up to your respective rooms.
You hurl your suitcase up the steps, hyper-aware of Theodore walking just behind you. You climb up the first set of stairs and look up. A solid three more sets to go.
What the hell? 4 floors and 4 bedrooms? What kind of architectural fuck up was this? It seemed now like you had bricks in your bag because the task of getting up those remaining three flights of stairs seemed near impossible.
You pulled out of your mini crisis embarrassingly quick as fingers brushed against yours. You spin around, spotting Theodore. He's reaching down for your bag, and he looks up, eyes meeting yours.
You hated him.
You loved him.
You loathed him.
You didn't know which one mattered more.
“Let me take it.” He offers, clearing his throat, and suddenly you've lost the ability to speak.
You nod in agreement, too caught off guard by the unexpected gesture to form coherent words. Theodore effortlessly lifts the suitcase as if it were weightless, and you watch the play of muscles beneath his shirt as he ascends the staircase with ease.
You berate yourself for being so shameless.
You follow him, trying to shake off the strange mix of emotions swirling within you. Your thoughts are a whirlwind as you reach the landing, now standing just outside the door of your shared room.
"Thanks," you manage to mumble, avoiding eye contact as Theodore sets your suitcase down inside the room. He nods in acknowledgement, his expression unreadable.
As you enter the room, you're greeted by a quaint and cosy little room. Luckily, there are two separate beds, though they are pushed together to form one larger one. You'll be sure to move them apart.
Theodore clears his throat, breaking the silence. "I guess this is our room for the trip," he remarks, a half-smile playing on his lips.
"Yeah," you reply, fidgeting with the hem of your shirt. The air between you two is charged with unspoken tension, and the weight of the realisation settles in. Fate, it seems, had a peculiar sense of humour.
"Listen, about earlier," Theodore starts, his gaze searching yours, but you cut him off swiftly.
“Don’t. There's nothing to talk about.” You say, brushing past him as you walk into the room. You have your back faced to him, face bright red as you begin unpacking, actions more forceful than you intended them to be.
Theodore remains silent for a moment, respecting your need for space. You can feel the weight of his gaze on you as you unpack, each movement deliberate and almost aggressive.
You hear Theodore take a deep breath behind you, and then he speaks, his voice breaking, tinged with an underlying vulnerability. "Please. Just, look at me." He pleads.
You clench your jaw, your hands gripping the edges of your suitcase. You turn around, meeting his gaze with a steely expression.
You swear your heart breaks. He’s frowning, and he looks on the verge of tears.
Stupid. This was so, so stupid.
“Look. Nothing is going on. Nothing happened, ok? I'm fine.” You say, though it's a blatant lie. You grab your sweater and book, considering pushing past him again on your way out as you speak.
You don't want to carry on like this. It hurt.
“Yeah, sure," Theodore replies, his voice now strained and forced into an artificial calm. "Nothing happened."
You want to believe it, to believe that you can bury the complicated mess of emotions that surged to the surface earlier. As you step into the hallway, you take a deep breath, plastering a fake smile on your face.
Theodore follows suit, and together you make your way downstairs to join the others. The air is thick with tension, but the group seems oblivious, immersed in arguments over food.
Pansy looks at you curiously, her keen eyes noting the shift in dynamics, but she chooses not to pry. Blaise seems absorbed in his thoughts, Lorenzo is engaged in animated conversation with Mattheo, and Draco appears indifferent to the subtle changes in the atmosphere.
No one notices anything, and you're very convinced it's because nothing really existed in the first place. You walk over to where Matteho is sitting on the sofa and take a seat next to him. He wraps an arm around you, drawing you in close as he continues speaking to Lorenzo.
“Hey, stimp.” Mattheo says, rubbing your arm as he looks down at you.
Sidenote: The nickname stimp originated from when Pansy had gone through a phase of calling everyone ‘stink’. You had no idea what she was saying and thought she was calling everyone stimp. You were relentlessly tormented by the group for thinking so, and it's stuck since then (courtesy of Mattheo.)
“Hey.” You mumble into his chest. He chuckles, fiddling with your hair lightly as he goes back to his conversation with Lorenzo.
Your mind (as it so often did) lingers back to Theodore. Your stomach aches because of it.
He's a tempest, a tempest that lingers in the recesses of your soul, tearing through the tranquillity with an unrelenting force.
You're weary, though these past few days with Theodore have made you constantly feel that way. You become tuned out from the conversations of your friends, feeling oddly like a spectator.
Your eyes grow heavy, and whether it's to your dismay or relief, you fall asleep with Theodore on your mind.
You could have sworn you fell asleep in the living room, curled into Mattheo. So when your eyes flicker open, and you're blinking wearily, sitting up in your bed, you're heavily disoriented.
A sleepy groan escapes your lips as you gingerly sit up, looking around. Theodore is lying in his bed, and you're very quickly aware of the fact that he separated them.
His eyes flicker over to yours at the sound of you stirring, a book loosely held in his hands.
Your eyes flicker down to the cover of the book and you're surprised at how quickly you feel sick again. It was getting rather tiring, really.
How long was he reading for? Was he thinking of you as he read? Did he read and look over at you?
“I saved some food for you.” He says after a beat. He looks at you, as though he wants to say more, and you see the conflict in his mind. He looks back down, and you feel slightly disappointed.
“Thanks.” You croak quietly, gingerly slipping out of bed. You sit on the edge for a second, back facing Theodore as you orient yourself for a bit before you slide on some slippers. You yawn and get up, tossing the covers back as you make your way downstairs. You blindly grope the walls as you warily descend the stairs in the pitch-black darkness, praying you didn't send yourself tumbling down.
Your fingers brush against a light switch and you let out a small sigh of relief as you flick the lights on.
God, how late was it?
You finally manage to stumble into the kitchen, the warm lights illuminating the otherwise barren place. The house is silent, and you assume it must be very late, judging by the way your friends (who almost exclusively lived between the hours of 11:00 - 02:00) were not awake. You shouldn't be eating at this time, especially because you planned to sleep right after, but you were starving and hadn't eaten prior.
You open what you assume to be the fridge (because god forbid rich people be like the rest of us and have normal-looking things), and see two small containers and a pizza box. You're impressed Draco (who though incredibly slender seemed to have the appetite of a growing giant) hadn't eaten it yet. You open the pizza box first and feel immediately better when you see the order. It's exactly what you like, there's garlic butter on the crust, and olives on every slice. There are tomatoes but it's on the side because you hate cooked tomatoes, and there's your favourite sauce as well (Blaise almost cried bloody murder when he saw you dipping your pizza in mayo a few years ago. You swore it was good.)
With a small smile on your face, you peer into the other two containers. One is full of strawberries, and your mouth waters.
You absolutely adored strawberries, and these looked plump and fresh, a far cry from the sad little things you'd get in Hogsmeade, on rare occasions. You can't resist biting into one and letting out a small groan of satisfaction as you do.
This had to be what heaven felt like, surely. You swore these alone could make you ascend. You pull out the container and snack on some, looking up as you hear the sound of footsteps approaching. Pansy yawns as she saunters into the kitchen, rubbing her eyes. She's evidently sleepy, reaching for a glass of water as she speaks.
“You're finally up.” She mumbles groggily, leaning against the counter.
You nod.
“Woke up a few minutes ago. Thank you for ordering some pizza for me. You got it spot on.” You say with a small smile, and Pansy dismisses you with a small flick of her hand, as she sets the glass down.
“Oh no no, it wasn't me. We all ordered some sushi because Blaise knew a place. Theodore went out and got all that for you. He disappeared for like three bloody hours and we thought he got kidnapped or something. Turns out it’s very hard to find a good pizza place here.” Pansy says.
You blink in surprise at Pansy’s revelation. You have to stop yourself from dropping your jaw because you couldn't deal with her question right now, especially because…
What the fuck?
Why? How?
Why?
You can barely comprehend Theodore could remember all those things about you. Little things that you yourself wouldn't even notice. By the looks of it even your closest friend, Pansy, didn't even know that.
He went out of his way to get that for you?
It's an odd mixture of emotions — appreciation, confusion, and a tinge of frustration. Frustration because he was being so damn confusing. Ignoring you but then knowing everything about you. Not talking to you and then confessing he's been searching for you in everything he does. Remaining distant but doing things that made your heart flutter and guilt flood your being.
Pansy is watching you intently, ever observant. She gives you a once over, eyebrows furrowing ever so lightly.
“Night then.” She says, turning back to go to her room.
Even Pansy, who was ever known for being careless and prying, knew right now that this was something that went so much further than her best friend having a silly crush on someone. She didn’t need to know the history between you and Theodore to know this was something serious, and her reserved and understanding behaviour only seemed to scare you more. You remain staring off for a second as she retreats before you close the container, slipping it back into the fridge
(You'd hex Draco's teeth onto his toes if he dared to touch them.)
You make your way back up to your room, and by the time you enter Theodore is no longer reading, rather he's asleep in his bed.
His bedside lamp is off, but yours is on. You look at him for a second, and you're grateful that he's asleep because you didn't know what to say, or how to face him. You quietly retreat into the bathroom, washing your face and brushing your teeth before slipping back into the bedroom. You slip under the covers of your bed, tugging the blanket over you as you sink into the infuriatingly comfy mattress (How you'd be able to find sleep again back at Hogwarts after this, you never knew. This made your dorm bed feel like you were sleeping on a slab of concrete. If this home isn't being used by Pansy and her family till the holiday, you seriously considered breaking in and living here in the meantime.)
You and Theo are sleeping on opposite sides of the room, backs facing away from one another. Your bed is facing the window, which you're glad about because you couldn't sleep otherwise. A small voice in your mind questions if that was Theodore’s doing as well.
The silence is broken as you speak, words you only dare to utter because Theodore is asleep.
“Thank you.” You whisper, quietly.
Silence follows, and you let out a small breath because, of course, there's silence, Theodore is asleep. You find your own eyes drifting shut very quickly, slipping away into sleep.
You feel as though you're sinking, and you can't tell if it's because you're tired or spiralling.
In the quiet darkness, you find yourself teetering on the cusp of sleep. You're in that nearly there phase, where you feel simultaneously weightless and heavy. You're half-conscious, dreams blurring the line of reality. You're drifting away, and you swear you hear a whisper, gentle and barely audible in a voice that sounds very similar to Theodore.
"Always."

Berliner Mauer
Michael Kaiser x Fem reader
tw: mentions of abuse, sex, controlling, gaslighting i think
Clopp. Clopp. The raindrops fell on the window. The sun has already set, as you were packing your suitcase and sorting things into boxes.
Why did you agree to this? How could you agree to this? You can still leave. There's still some time before he comes home. You can make a run for it. You can quietly get on a bus, go to a random location and start a new life. Without him. Without any of this.
You stared at your carefully folded clothes in the suitcase. Then you looked around the seemingly empty room. The only things that were left were the mattress, the closet and the huge pile of personal belongings you had to go through in the next six hours. You glanced at the backpack you've already packed.
Your heart sank. You don't want to leave. You can't leave.
As you opened the bag the trigger of the night fell out.
Certificate of attainment of successful language exam.
language: German
level: b2
Goethe Institut Tokyo
Tears started to roll down your cheeks faster than ever. Your throat tightened as you gasped for air. You can't do this. No. It's impossible.
What's a Japanese girl to do in Germany of all places?
It was his demand. One day he just came home. Handed you a book with a phone number. Learn german. Make it quick. Get at least a b2 in four months. We're moving to Berlin.
You sobbed as the memories resurfaced. His blue eyes darting through you. His knuckles clenched as you stuttered your concerns out before he hit you for the first (but not the last)
Michael Kaiser. Football prodigy and toxic boyfriend.
Michael Kaiser the man who's ruining your life yet again. As you sobbed through the events of the past months you heard the front door creaking open.
He finished practice early.
"Liebe! Ich bin zu Hause angekommen! Liebe? Wo bist du?"
"Don't speak German, I beg of you" you started to sob even more. You heard his footsteps coming closer and closer before he entered the room.
"Oh Liebe... Are you sad about having to leave? It's going to be okay my. dear you speak German good. You'll be able to make it!" he tried to brush it off.
"No" you continued with the tears. "You're so cold with me. German sucks. I'm an Asian girl, not knowing shit about Europe. I'll have to marry you for a visa. I don't want to be there"
"Oh, Liebe.." he kneeled next to you. "You'll be okay. I understand it is hard to... Leave your home but I promise you'll love Berlin. It's similar... to Tokyo"
"Really?" your eyes sparked up.
"Of course! and don't forget that you can already speak so much German and your degree also uncommon and looked for in Germany."
"I-i understand but still... It's.. still scary"
"You'll be fine" he started to lose his temper.
"But... what if..."
"Shut the fuck up!" he suddenly yelled and shoved you before standing up. "Listen I can't listen to your sorry ass! Uuu, just a Japanese little girl, nobody fucking cares! You should've achieved a better level, you should've picked an actual degree so you wouldn't have to rely on me! So continue packing your shit! We're getting on that dang plane. Now if you excuse me. One of us here is actually earning money and paying all your expenses. And he'd like to have a shower before I show you mein Schwanz one last time in your fucked up country! Before we leave for the paradise. " he hurried off immediately.
Your sobs took up again as the incident of the wall of Berlin came to your head. You'll be trapped in the part of Berlin Michael wants you to see. The life he wants you to live. Saying no? Not an option.
Maybe it's going to work out. You thought.
Will it?

Giacomo Puccini
Giacomo Puccini (1858-1924) was an Italian composer best known for his operas La Bohème, Tosca, Madama Butterfly, and Turandot. Puccini drew inspiration from a wide range of literary sources, and his late Romantic music with its immortal melodies emphasised the strong characters, drama, and fast pace of his emotional operas, which remain today as popular as ever.
Early Life
Giacomo Puccini was born in Lucca in the Italian region of Tuscany on 22 December 1858. He came from a long line of musicians who had held the position of organist at Lucca's San Martino Cathedral since the previous century. Giacomo's father Michele (1813-1864), was both the cathedral's organist and choirmaster, and he was the director of the local music school, the Istituto Pacini; he died when Giacomo was just six years old. Unfortunately for tradition, Giacomo, although interested in music, would take an entirely different career path from his forefathers.
Giacomo, the fifth of eight children, was raised by his mother, Albina, who ensured he learnt to play the organ and sing. Giacomo sang in the cathedral choir from age ten. He attended the Istituto Pacini and graduated in 1880, his final exam piece being his Messa di Gloria. Thanks to financial help from a cousin and a successful application for a grant, Giacomo moved on to the Conservatory in Milan. Aiming far higher than the position of organist in Lucca, Giacomo's fate had been sealed back in 1876 when he heard a performance in Pisa of Aida by Giuseppe Verdi (1813-1901). The magic of Verdi's tragic opera set in ancient Egypt convinced Puccini that he too should earn a living writing operas.
The young composer's graduation piece at the Conservatory was Capriccio Sinfonico, a promising orchestral piece, but it was Le villi (The Fairies), a one-act opera, that would open doors for Puccini. The work was staged at the Teatro dal Verme in Milan in 1883. Puccini's professional career took off in 1884 when he performed music from his opera at a private party and it happened to be heard by Giulio Ricordi, the famed publisher who had Verdi on his books. Ricordi added Puccini to his publishing stable and commissioned him to write another opera. The result was Edgar, which premiered at Milan's La Scala theatre in 1889. The La Scala audience has always been a testing one to win over, and unlike his first, Puccini's second opera fell flat. The composer himself considered the work a "mistake" (Thompson, 174).
Puccini was on safer ground with his third opera, Manon Lescaut, a tried and tested libretto that had been used for Jules Massenet's opera Manon (1884), which was itself based on the 1731 novel L'histoire du chevalier des Grieux et de Manon Lescaut by Abbé Prévost. Puccini also tried a new city for his premiere: Turin on 1 February 1893. Manon Lescaut was a raging success – the composer was obliged to take 30 curtain calls – with further productions in London and Philadelphia in 1894. The composer's career was finally launched. The story of Manon Lescaut, told in four acts, has Des Grieux fall in love with Manon, and they elope to escape the clutches of the elderly Géronte. Nevertheless, Manon is attracted by the life of luxury she could lead with Géronte and chooses him over Des Grieux. Géronte is suspicious that Manon has rekindled her affair with his rival, arrests her, and so she will be deported. Des Grieux boards the ship taking away Manon, and they are reunited only for Manon to die in his arms. Audiences loved it. The story of a tragic soprano heroine who dies in a singing finale would be used time and again by Puccini.

Books tag game time! Thanks @marcusagrippa for the tag ✨
Last book I read: Jean-Jacques Rousseau's Confessions
Confessions... not going to go into it in this post. It's a wild ride for sure. But if you're interested in mental health (issues) in the 1700s, it's a fairly interesting source material.
Book I recommend:
I've recently finished Carlo Ginzuburg's Cheese and Worms. It's an absolute classic! It's also a fairly quick read. I'd recommend it to anyone who's curious to see how modern historical research doesn't have to just be about famous kings or medieval battles (or if you want to read about an unhinged oddly progressive 16th century Italian miller. Menocchio is the best and I adore him!)
Book I couldn't put down:
That usually happens with murder mysteries, since I want to keep reading until I find out what happened. One of them is Umberto Eco's The Name of the Rose (also a classic, and definitely an interesting spin on the genre),
the other is Stuart Turton's The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle. Nothing to do with history but it's so unique and so good! The best way I can describe it is that reading it feels like playing a video game, in the best way possible. It also opens up some interesting philosophical questions at the end. I've been (unsuccessfully) trying to convince my friends to read it for a year now 🙃
Book I've read twice:
I've read a lot of books multiple times for my final high school exams, but the two I know I've read twice for reasons unrelated are Anthony Burgess' A Clockwork Orange (I rant about it any time I get a book ask, so I'll refrain from it here) and George Orwell's 1984 (I was obsessed with it in my early teens for some reason).
There are a lot of books I loved in my teens that I would be curious to read once again, to see if my perception has changed. It did happen for 1984 and Hamlet, so it would be interesting to see if it's the same case for other works as well!
A book on my TBR:
Gosh, so many. But one is Plutarch's Parallel Lives! I'm so curious about it but still haven't gotten around to actually reading it. I've only read short passages so far and I want to fix that! (Though good news is my grandparents actually have a copy in their library so I'll just snatch... um, borrow it at some point)
A book I've put down:
It used to happen quite a lot, but ever since I've started basing my reading on Tumblr... no okay, in all honesty, I've put down C. S. Forester's Hornblower and didn't get back to it for years. Although I love the tv series, I just couldn't get into the book. But I still kind of want to give it a go at some point in the future.
A book on my wishlist:
I've been obsessed with the Introducing Graphic Guides recently and I just want to collect them like Pokemon cards!!
They are very digestible and so, so good! I read one on Rousseau and Machiavelli, I bought one on the Enlightenment which I'm saving as a treat, but I need Žižek as well... and Foucault... and Romanticism...
A favourite book from childhood:
I know there recently was a movie that was... not good, but I loved Philip Reeve's Mortal Engines. It was this sort of steampunk-esque fantasy book which had a really interesting female protagonist. I mean I'm only just now realising how subversive it was that the main heroine was fairly unlikeable and very flawed but still someone you were meant to ultimately root for?
There was also a parallel about social darwinism – the world of the book had cities flying in the skies that were devouring smaller cities, robbing them blind and enslaving their populations. The governments had a flimsy quasi-philosophical justification for all this, but the heroes of the books were fighting against the status quo. Looking back, I still think the series was pretty cool!
A book you would give to a friend:
Recently borrowed Émilie du Châtelet's Discourse on Happiness to my friend after she went through a break-up. I'm hoping É's words of wisdom might help her!
A book of poetry/lyrics you own:
Catullus (a Czech and an English translation) of course!
I've also recently bought Ovid's Letters of Heroines in a second-hand bookshop and I'm looking forward to getting into it.
A non-fiction book you own:
A fair amount of biographies of old white dudes, to the surprise of noone...
but to give a little more interesting answer, I do own all the books by Jon Ronson. He's a British journalist writing about current issues and I find him to be both really funny and really insightful!
His books about the psychiatric industry (The Psychopath Test) and modern-day ostracism (So You've Been Publically Shamed) are especially good and I'd recommend them to everyone!
Currently reading:
Voltaire's biography - Roger Pearon's Voltaire Almighty. It may not be a prefect academic source, but his writing style is great and I'm really enjoying it so far!
I'm also on-and-off with Hilary Mantel's A Place of Greater Safety. I think I'll save it for once I start uni again.
Planning on reading next:
Denis Diderot's The Nun! I'm super curious because it sounds like a really interesting book for understanding sexuality and gender in the enlightenment era.
tagging @chaotic-history @my-deer-friend @theghostofbean and @iron--and--blood ! No pressure of course ✨

Ice cold tea (Wendip, G)
(Ao3)
his is, of course inspired by the most Wendip song I have ever heard, "Belong together" by Mark Ambor:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r0c9Q21AfLA
"So how long it's gonna be for you?", Wendy asked, watching her friend rise his nose from stack of books. She smiled when Dipper twitched nervously, as he did so often, trying to find an answer, particularily to her questions.
"Probably another two weeks or so", Dipper replied to his red-head videocaller, her freckled face illuminated by the sun shining through the trees."I still have three exams to pass… But I've got help",
He took a sip from the can of ice tea, observing, as her eyes widened ..
"Oh, man, I wish I had that", Wendy groaned, "Working all day with chopping wood makes you thirsty." "Okay then, one crate of cold ice tea coming right up to the middle of nowhere!", he joked, and the two laughed heartily. "Alright, dork, see you later!"
And with that, she ended the videocall, feeling a pang in her stomach she knew had nothing to do with her tiredness, hunger or thirst. But she didn't even have time to ready her tools when she heard Dipper again - this time from behind her.
"Delivery for miss Corduroy!", he grunted, dragging a huge blue cointaner behind him.
"Du-DUDE! What are you doing here?!", Wendy gasped, almost losing balance. "I-I thought you were back in California! Wait, you WERE in your dorm room a minute ago!" Dipper smiled. "Heh, simple background replacement. Especially…"
He opened the ice box and leaned against its large, white lid.
"…if you have nice, clean single color to key out." "Hey, I'm supposed to be the cool one." "But I am wearing your hat." "Alright smartass, come'ere.".
Wendy reached and pulled him into a tight hug, lifting him off the ground, though once she put him down, she was surprised she no longer had to look down to meet his eyes. She found herself staring at him for some time, until he cleared his throat, making her realise how awkwardly they would have looked to any onlookers, had there been any.
"Come on, grab that ice tea.", she composed herself.
A moment later the two were sitting on a blanket, stretched on a pile freshly cut logs, sipping their sweet drinks.
"So how come you are here now?" "Well…", Dipper blushed and shied away, "I've kinda… already passed my exams"
Wendy nearly spat her drink out.
"How?! Have you been messing with Blendin's tape?" "Oh no, never again….I've just, you know, reshuffled the timetable a bit and pulled a couple of all-nighters, so I could be with you! I mean you all, y'all, that is, like Soos and others", he quickly Å™corrected himself.
Wendy chuckled. For quite some time they both enjoyed their drinks, watching as gentle Summer breeze pushed fluffy clouds above their heads and brought much needed fresh, cool air.
"And Mabel?" "I think her apprenticeship ends in two weeks, so…" "….so we have all that time for ourselves", Wendy finished. "And I have just an idea what should we be doing…"
She turned her head and leaned forward, watching as Dipper's eyes widen, before he closed them involuntarily, when her face was just an inch away from his, his body shivering with anticipation. A moment later he tasted the sweet, refreshing flavour Wendy's been drinking… After she shoved another cold can to his lips, making him nearly fall back. He saw her beaming smile and emerald eyes again above him, as she continued.
"You're gonna help me rebuild my mom's old cabin!", she exclaimed,
"Oh. Cool." Dipper replied, jumping from the pile, trying to comprehend his situation, as he caught up with reality.
"After all, we've gotta have a place to have movie nights… And maybe even drink some of that tea in the mornings", she sent him a sly smile and casually returned to her job.
"Yeah…. Wait, what?" Dipper squeaked, dropping one small log he has managed to lift right onto his foot.

How do you think Shi Qingxuan and He Xuan Ming Yi first met? What were their opinions on each other then?
Omgg interesting question!!!!! LEMME SEE!!!
So first of all!!!! I have yet to finish the books, but I have been listening to the audio drama and Donghua!!! Gonna finish them novels right after exams!! But I've been keeping up with the LORE!!! lemme see abt what their opinions on 'eachother' was 👀
From what I've gathered, I think Shi Qingxuan prolly thought he was another god or someone from the heavenly court when they first met? And since Ming Yi was known as the Earth Master (Well He Xuan posing as him but SQX doesn't know) and since Wind Master has such a fun personality, he somehow got Ming Yi to open up and be his friend! (not sure about how they actually met, but I'm just guessing) I think SQX saw him as a reliable and trustworthy person. Well, on the other hand, He Xuan first saw SQX as a tool for his revenge plan!!!
Anyways SO, with Ming Yi, I'm not sure if he only got close to SQX because he wanted his revenge and was feeling resentment! What I'm saying is I don't think he faked their friendship all the way through even if it was done to get closer to Shi Wu Du :( I think He Xuan actually loved being SXQ's friend.. but maybe not as the 'Bestie' like how SQX says to Ming Yi (He Xuan) tho this is how I feel!! Their friendship was very confusing ngl!!!
I don't know why I feel this but maybe it's because I personally would have loved to see their friendship blossoming T__T cuz like when He Xuan figured out that SQX was innocent and didn't know about anything, he even gave him chances and stuff... so I think He Xuan genuinely would have loved being his friend!!
And thinking about how mxtx said that after the black water arc, He Xuan watched over SXQ until he died was very sad :( He Xuan could never stand infront of SQX cuz of his guilt! BUT omggg this is getting emotional now!!! thanks again for the question!!!
But hey what do you guys think?? Sorry if some details here are wrong tho jsskks
ALSO imagine what SQX felt when he figured out abt Ming Yi being He Xuan himself T_T like his closest friend has been him all alone?? That's insane omggg OK I will stop screaming!!!

Joan of Arc Couldn't Ride a Horse
My father is Catholic, my mother agnostic, and within me these two magnets war like poles casting off gravity in their urge to repel each other. As a child I became religious at my father's observance, on a whim, that because of my middle name, Joan of Arc is my patron saint. I was stunned. I came from a coastal Oregon town where we rode bikes around, chewed gum if we could get it; built forts on the beach or in the woods. Sainthood, patron saints, Catholicism, the cathedrals of France—all a new, albeit arcane magic. Tell me, as a lost and homesick 11-year old, that a radical woman on horseback is coming to lead me.
We had settled in France, and I was learning French. I knew authoritatively that she was really Jeanne d'Arc, although all I had to go on was an (ironically British) 1971 Ladybird book written by Lawrence du Garde Peach, an English actor and radio playwright who was in military intelligence during World War I. This child's book gently whitewashed the massive overlay of bubonic plague, the Hundred Years' War; virginity exams; threats of rape; the hardness of life in the 15th century.
By the time we found our way to the Rouen marketplace where she was burned I did not care if she was schizophrenic, mad, or called by God to drive the English armies out of France—I believed in her wholly, the way only a teenaged girl can believe in another teenaged girl who has been tied to a stake and burned.
Since that point my long struggle has been away from religion, letting go of the fervent superstitions of faith, to my mother's flip side, viewing religion as weak-minded, for the masses. I wanted to believe that I was smart and scientific. Then, as the slow tragedy of life drove me past that, out of a greater necessity, I began to find the similar persuasions in the way of the Tao, and in the massive, gorgeous visions of Black Elk, and in the perfunctory spiritual power of the AA 12-Steps.
Then, in a story I'm working on, one character turned to another and said: 'You know, Joan of Arc couldn't ride a horse.'
Offended, this sent me down into the research warrens, where I soon ran into the French historian Régine Pernoud and her book Jeanne d'Arc, and also five hours of the double film Jeanne La Pucelle (1994.) Pernoud cemented the deal by confessing that she had always avoided Jeanne for her mythy, overblown teenaged religious saga. However, one day she made that fatal karmic mistake of opening just the right book to just the right page, and the girl's clear treble voice rose from those documents like a mystic voice in a churchyard.
Caught up in a similar manner I found myself writing The Prisoner of the Chateau-Forte du Louvre.
The upshot of all this was that yes, of course Jehanne of Domrémy could ride a horse. Horses were such an integral part of her image that one of her chargers was put to death when she was killed. She had grown up riding her father's plough horses, and ultimately she could handle a galloping Percheron while wearing full armor, carrying a standard, and exhorting an army to follow her—to use an Anglo-French word amalgamated over La Manche—into the affray.

Your Vital 10-Step Guide to Studying in Canada
The journey to study in Canada is an adventure that promises not only world-class overseas education but also a vibrant student life filled with diverse cultural experiences. Canada, known for its diverse and inclusive society, high-quality education system, and beautiful landscapes, is a top choice for international students from all corners of the globe. To help you navigate this journey, here’s a comprehensive 10-step guide to studying in Canada, ensuring you're well-informed and prepared every step of the way.
1. Understanding the essentials
Before you dive into the application process, it's crucial to grasp the requirements for studying in Canada. This includes recognizing the specific needs of Canadian educational institutions and the study permit application process. Preparing at least a year in advance is advisable to ensure a smooth journey.
2. Selecting your course and institution
Canada boasts a plethora of prestigious institutions, but it's important to choose one that aligns with your academic and career goals. Ensure your chosen institution is a Designated Learning Institution (DLI), as only these can host international students. Your academic passions should guide your course selection, with flexibility to switch if necessary.
3. Language proficiency
Proficiency in English or French is a gateway to Canadian education. Tests like IELTS for English and TEF for French are commonly accepted. It's not just about clearing the test; it's about immersing yourself in a language and culture that will be an integral part of your life in Canada.
4. Application to universities
Once you've pinpointed your preferred institutions and courses, the next step is the application. This process involves careful preparation and attention to detail, ensuring all information is accurate and backed by documentary evidence. The waiting period for acceptance can be nerve-wracking, but it's a crucial step towards your Canadian education.
5. Securing a study permit
With an acceptance letter in hand, you're ready to apply for a Canada Study Permit. This involves compiling a comprehensive package of documents, including proof of financial support and, in some cases, a medical exam. For those planning to study in Quebec, a "Certificat d’acceptation du Québec" (CAQ) is also required.
6. Preparing for your journey
Once your study permit is approved, it's time to plan your travel to Canada. This is more than just booking a flight; it's about preparing for a new chapter in your life, in a country known for its welcoming nature and diverse culture.
7. Embracing Canadian life
Living in Canada as an international student is an enriching experience. With students hailing from various countries, the multicultural environment is perfect for personal and academic growth. Ontario, British Columbia, Quebec, and Alberta are among the top provinces chosen by international students, each offering unique experiences and opportunities.
8. Working while studying
Canada's policies allow students to work while studying, which can be an excellent way to gain work experience and manage living expenses. This practical exposure complements your academic learning and prepares you for the global workforce.
9. Post-graduation opportunities
Many international students in Canada aspire to stay and work post-graduation. The Post-Graduation Work Permit Program (PGWPP) allows students who have graduated from eligible Canadian institutions to obtain an open work permit to gain valuable Canadian work experience.
10. Pathway to permanent residency
Canada values the contribution of international students to its society and economy. The Canadian Experience Class, among other immigration pathways, offers a route to permanent residency for those who wish to call Canada their home after their studies.
Key takeaway
Studying in Canada is not just about acquiring a world-class education; it's about experiencing a unique way of life, embracing diverse cultures, and building a promising future. By following these steps and preparing thoroughly, you'll be well on your way to a successful and fulfilling overseas education journey in Canada.

CLB7 (NCLC 7) in French Exams
French language exams, especially at the CLB 7 level, are crucial for those aiming to move to Canada. CLB 7 shows an intermediate French skill level and is highly important for various Canadian immigration programs. These exams open doors to living, working, and studying opportunities through programs like Express Entry. This blog will discuss the importance of CLB 7 French exams for Canadian immigration and how they can help kickstart a new life in Canada.
For the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) under the Express Entry system, applicants need to meet the minimum language requirements, which typically include a certain level of proficiency in English or French. For French, CLB 7 is considered an intermediate level of proficiency.
A CLB (Canadian Language Benchmark) minimum level 7 in French is one of the language requirements for the Express Entry program in Canada. Here's a general description of what someone with a CLB 7 level might be able to do across different language skills:
Speaking: At CLB 7, individuals can converse fairly fluently and handle everyday or work-related situations well, though occasional errors may occur. They communicate effectively and spontaneously.
Listening: People at this level grasp the main ideas in complex conversations, presentations, and media broadcasts. They generally understand most of what's being said, even though they might need clarification at times.
Reading: Those at this level comprehend moderately complex texts like newspaper articles, reports, and books. They understand the main ideas and some finer points within written materials.
Writing: Individuals at this level produce coherent, detailed written content. They're capable of crafting clear essays, reports, or emails, despite occasional errors, conveying their messages effectively.
It's important to remember that this description is an overview of what to expect at a CLB 7 level. However, different individuals may excel differently across these skills, and the evaluation criteria can vary depending on the specific language proficiency test used for Canadian immigration purposes.
Which exam to take for a CLB 7 in French?
To achieve a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 7 in French, there are several language proficiency tests that you can consider taking. Here are some of the commonly accepted exams:Test d'évaluation de français pour le Canada (TEF Canada): TEF Canada is widely recognized and accepted by the Canadian government for immigration, citizenship, and professional purposes. It assesses French language proficiency across various levels, including CLB 7. Test de connaissance du français pour le Canada (TCF Canada): Similar to TEF, TCF Canada evaluates French language skills for immigration and citizenship purposes. It can determine proficiency levels including CLB 7.
How to prepare for TEF Canada/ TCF Canada as a complete beginner?
If you're just starting to learn French and aiming to prepare for the TEF Canada or TCF Canada exams eventually, here's a helpful step-by-step plan:
Define Clear Goals: Know why you're learning French. Figure out how reaching a certain level in French will help you, especially if you plan to take exams like TEF Canada or TCF Canada for immigration or other goals.
Begin with Basics: Start with the ABCs, greetings, everyday phrases, and simple words. Use beginner-friendly resources like apps or online lessons to start.
Focus on Speaking: Practice how French sounds. Speak and listen to native speakers to get a feel for the language's pronunciation.
Take a Course or Use Apps: Consider joining a beginner's French course or try language apps like Duolingo, Babbel, or Rosetta Stone. They offer structured lessons for beginners.
Learn Words and Grammar: Build up your vocabulary. Start with everyday words, verbs, and basic grammar rules. Focus on how to form sentences and use different tenses.
Practice Daily: Set aside some time every day to practice French. Work on listening, speaking, reading, and writing to reinforce what you're learning.
Immerse Yourself: Surround yourself with French as much as possible. Listen to French music, watch movies, or shows with French subtitles, and try using French in your daily life.
Connect with Others Learning French: Join groups or online communities where you can practice speaking with other learners or native French speakers. It's a fun way to improve.
Use Online Tools: Explore online resources like language learning websites, podcasts, YouTube channels, and forums dedicated to learning French. They offer a range of materials suitable for beginners.
Keep Track of Progress: Regularly check how you're doing. Note new words you've learned, grammar you've understood, and regularly assess your skills to know where you need more practice.

DAY 3
God, I feel alive.
I know I said I was feeling kind of shit yesterday, and to be honest, so did I this morning as well. But now, just now? I feel on top of the world.
I think it might be because my brain has finally taken in the fact that it's OVER. That I'm finally giving myself a chance to heal. Because tonight is Sunday night and tomorrow everyone will be going back to uni and will have to deal with tons of exams they spent the past few days or hours studying for, while I'll be doing whatever I actually want to be doing. Sleeping. Cloning Kit's voice on "Eleven Labs". Eating at Paradis du Fruit. Going to the gym for the first time ever. Going to the mall. Filling in a coloring book while sitting on the floor. Listening to music in my apartment. Watching Doctor Who. Finishing to read Loveless. The possibilities are endless.
Whatever I choose to do, it'll be something I chose to do and want to do. Not something I chose to do months ago thinking I'd be okay with it and turns out it's causing me too much pain to be tolerated on the daily.
Today was a good day. I woke up at 11, cloned Joe's voice on Eleven Labs and was madly impressed by how perfect it sounded (I was so excited to hear a chapter of "Nick and Charlie" in his voice, but also terrified because, wow, I could be making him say anything). Then I got ready to see a friend, we went to see two plays together and that was really nice, then we ate at an Asian restaurant, and then I went home.
I think my uni best friend has digested the news a bit. Today they sent me, like, ten rickrolls. They seem less mad at me I guess, but I haven't heard from them a lot. I think I should open up my heart to them and ask them if they're angry. I also told my grandparents (my mom sort of told her parents before I had a chance to do so...) and they all reacted nicely. I also told my other uni friends and they were all incredibly lovely and encouraging, and I hope I still seem them lots and lots.
So I guess today was a good day. I know there still are difficult days ahead, but I want to believe things are slowly going to look up and that I might start being a healthier person, physically and mentally.
I have lots of plans for the upcoming weeks, too. Visiting places in Paris I haven't been yet. Finding a cheap train ticket to one of the French coasts Reading lots and lots... l'Il keep you updated.
See you next time xx
