1 hour 35 mins into my commercial law exam (26 hour long, open-book, take home exam to be clear) and I've already started on the essay question? Academic weapon who?? In past years it's taken 4 hours of planning to actually begin; I think writing my dissertation this year and really consolidating a lot of the legal writing skills from over the years has helped me legitimately level up in terms of intelligence and academic ability to the point where these exams aren't so bad as before.

Or maybe,,, maybe it's because my revision was far more effective this year with fewer distractions and I attended way more classes this year? But also definitely feeling a lot more confident generally, especially in my writing ability.

Anyway, good exam vibes so far ^_^ 24.5 hours remaining!!

i decided to make a post to motivate myself to do some last minute studying, the exam is tomorrow :') luckily i don't need to understand many details, there's just so much content to revise. it's been a really interesting module though!

Dyk what I hate about statistics? THE ADDITION. Also the multiplication. It would've been cool if it was like once or twice but I GOTTA DO IT 20 TIMES IF THERE ARE 20 NUMBERS??? WHY????? It would've been cool if we had calculators to do that too BUT CALCULATORS ARE NOT ALLOWED?!!

bro i thought stats was child's play until my finals approached and i hadn't touched it throughout the semester and i realised it was child's play only IF YOU KNEW WHAT WAS GOING ON kjhdjkfghkjdfhg so i had a similar situation i was suddenly in my final exam without a clue about what was going on. idek what was so hard about it bc i don't really hate stats (i was just a lazy bum this happened like 6 years ago oops) but man i almost cried that day thankfully i got a little hint from the teacher and i actually thought i would fail and have to repeat stats.

i got an A+

i have no idea how that happened btw that's like number 1 in the Top 10 Mysteries of My Life.

i have one notebook i carry to uni with me every day for the case where my laptop battery fails me in the middle of a lecture (happens often because my laptop is old and the stromversorgung situation in the lecture rooms is less than ideal) and if the lecture is uninteresting i start drafting fic plots in kurrentschrift in it instead of taking notes. which makes it very funny to look through because it's like. 5 pages of notes to verhältnis landesrecht völkerrecht. 0.5 page listing a couple of references with where to find them in the library and page number. 7 pages first draft for how to get those repressed old men to kiss. 1 page schematic of prüfung von grundrechtsverletzungen. 0.5 page bad doodles of boats
