Polites got all his mythology knowledge from Odysseus so he doesn't know everything, (example: he knows about the sirens but not Scylla) (Suffering/Different Beast, Scylla)

Not really knowing what they're up against, they try fighting Scylla, but once it starts going badly Polites decides to sacrifice himself to save the others (imagine him standing there, holding the only lit torch on the ship) (Scylla)

Eurylochus pulls him away, Scylla eats the arm holding the torch, Polites passes out from blood loss while Eurylochus is screaming "What were you thinking?!" and similar at him (Scylla, Mutiny)

Eurylochus tries to convince Polites to kill the cows and have one last meal together, Polites begs him to reconsider (Mutiny)

Polites begs Zeus to spare the crew and kill him instead, but Zeus refuses (Thunderbringer)

When Polites wakes up on Calypso's island, it truly sinks in that Eurylochus is gone. She holds him while he screams (Love in paradise)

With the crew dead, Polites loses his drive to get home (Love in Paradise)

Polites and Calypso develop an unhealthy attachment to one another (Love in paradise)

Unlike Odysseus' "All I hear are screams", Polites sees his dead comrades, watching him in silence

Athena decides that her best chance to get rid of the suitors is to find someone from Odysseus' crew that survived (We'll be fine, Love in Paradise)

The ledge scene still happens but it's a bit different (Love in Paradise)

Polites agrees to go back to Ithaca only after Hermes tells him about the suitors (Not sorry for loving you)

I can’t name a single song i actively dislike, and several songs were SUPER close to making that list. this concept album goes hard, the vocals are stunning, and Luke Holt (Zeus) and KJ (Scylla) apparently have bills to pay because OH MY GOD. I am just a man when I hear some of the vocals in this musical. Also Jorge Riverra-Herrans (aka our Mr. Jalapeño) is hilarious and an AMAZING writer/composer

Various Pokémon and Digimon become alcoholics! Slenderman is ripped apart in one of the chapters. Peter Griffin gets erased from existence! Practically every show, game, and movie in existence shows up at some point in this modern-day Tower of Babel. Blood and Honey (that Winnie the Pooh horror film) is described as an abomination and the trailer is used as an Ark of the Covenant thing that blinds people. There’s a chapter where some mother fucker named Sherlock Hound fights Adam from Hazbin Hotel! There’s this 11th sister named Laney Loud who wasn’t in the actual show, but the author basically stole her from someone else. Team Loud phoenix storm (the group founded by the self insert and the louds) are shown tearing a total of billions of people apart and torturing them, just cause they did a bad thing. One of them was torn apart just cause he sold ice cream at $20. Some people are punished by being humiliated in cruel and unusual ways, including covering them in elephant feces. And finally, Bowser sacrifices himself in chapter 927 to defeat Thanos. This is real!"

You know that pretty much everyone in Djeeta's inner circle who knew was growing really annoyed with her dogged refusal to just be honest about her feelings. With the exception of Lyria, who's too nice and compassionate.

That's also why Vyrn is doing his best to hold his tongue and not bully Seofon to tears. It's also the reason why they're all ready to threaten Seofon with a gruesome fate should he hurt Djeeta, because they've dealt with months of her agonizing over this relationship.

Djeeta and Seofon may be smart people, but unfortunately, they're also both very stupid.

How is it that my 14 year old casual-Christian brother can understand and enjoy the film ‘Nimona’ without being upset about its themes, but whole ass Adults - Christian or not - have to spread their hate and rage of a film that focuses not on the love between two men, though it is there and it is NOT hidden nor should it be, but of a literal child battling an entire kingdom that wants them killed just for being who they are???

He understands that a warning should not be used against people being who they are, against two men being openly in love as they should be.

‘Warning it has gay people and anti-institution, which in a way indicates these are bad things.’

A young boy, barely a teenager, understands that these things should not have warnings. That they should be accepted, just as any other love story is, or any other coming-of-age film will be.

So how is it that full grown, should-be-mature Adults have only this to say?

“This movie is an attack from a dark agenda to indoctrinate the youth, who are easy to mould and shape.”

That sure sounds like Christianity to me. Shoving beliefs and ideals down young children’s throats and shaping them exactly how you want them to be.

Except some of your children are these people that you don’t want to see on your tv. Those children that just want to be seen, to be loved for who they are, to not be alone.

And I understand that not all Christian’s are like this, but those aren’t the ones I’m talking about.

I’m going to stop here before I get too worked up but my final note is that to those who don’t like the film Nimona because it is ‘shoving lgbtq+ themes down young peoples throats’, just remember that it is exactly what you do with your own beliefs.

It is hypocrisy in its finest form.
