so canonically, wrio’s a duke and has a wide… desk.

firstly, kinda similar to the manhwa raeliana, wrio and reader made a deal with each other. reader wants to go away from her shitty fiance from her arranged marriage and has wrio be her fake one. my hc of wrio being a tease or perhaps similar to noah is so strong; it’s sounds about right despite knowing nothing about him. most of the time, he jokes with reader about throwing her to jail for the littlest things.

as a prison warden, he has handcuffs. i’ll come back to that later. i wanna focus on his desk first. like, sir, why is it so wide. is it his paperwork, or is there another purpose. a wide desk which has a ton of space. a space wide enough to fit at least one person. a space wide enough for him to fuck someone. here’s the idea: desk sex with the desk as the “bed”. and here comes the handcuffs. to spice this up, he cuffs her wrists over her head on the desk when they fuck.

fake marriage but with hints of strangers with benefits and desk sex? i think that sounds about right? oh? “naughty girl”, he says? oh yeah. uh huh uh huh.

It's interesting how the themes of love and duty are presented in the histories of two characters who couldn't be more different from one another: the last hero and the Night's King. When presented with the choice of doing your duty or loving, the answer seems obvious—do our duty to the end, for it seems like the right thing to do. Maybe you'll even be rewarded for it. But then the last hero and the Night's King present a grey area. The Night's King followed his desire and the result was a tarnished reputation and his name being blotted out of history for all eternity. He was punished for it. So you'd think that the last hero, having done the opposite and followed his duty to the end, would fare better. But his name has been blotted out of history as well! He picked the "right" thing, but his reward is uncertain; almost nonexistent. No matter what you do, you lose—well, you lose if your name means something to you. The resulting dichotomy then is fascinating—the Night's King actually feels human where the last hero does not. He loved and he lost, but as old Maester Aemon said, the gods fashioned man to love, and love is sometimes the bane of honor (Ned Stark could tell you as much). Old Nan can speculate on who the Night's King was, but she doesn't even bother to try and name the last hero. Almost like he did his duty and was forgotten as was expected; as he should have been. And that's a sad state of affairs. Dehumanization vs a tarnished reputation.....I don't really know if the choice is all that clear tbh :/

Zevran's romance literally almost made me cry and I am not blind to the Astarion parallels because his romance ALSO almost made me cry

I can't really say anything that hasn't already been said (because I am extremely late to the DA:O party, everyones already passed out from the rager and Im just now showing up with pizza) and I'm not good at articulating serious thoughts, because this shit has me so giddy but also heartbroken that my brain is mush and can only go "BLORBO! BLORBO FROM MY VIDEO GAMES!! PUT HIM INTO SITUATIONS AND SHOW HIM HOW TO LOVE AGAIN!"

unfortunately my game was a little weird with it sometimes and did things the wiki said was never supposed to happen and other things that were supposed to happen didn't happen. also I'm on PS3 so no dialogue fix mods and I can't see if the approval is "love" or "warm" or "adore" or whatever, I can only see how full the bar is (unless I'm just stupid). But I'm pretty sure I got the important stuff, and he says dialogue/greetings that are only said if he's in love I THINK, but all I do know is I did the earring thing right and holy shit the second time he gives it to the warden?? that fucking floored me, the bell rang three times, the ref had to check my pulse. like are the engaged now? was that actually a proposal??? they sure fucking made it seem like one

ALSO WHEN WYNNE APOLOGIZES FOR DOUBTING THE WARDEN AND ZEVRAN AND SAYS SHE CAN SEE SOMETHING SPECIAL BETWEEN THEM, FAVORITE FUCKING CONVERSATION IN THE ENTIRE GAME, THE THINGS SHE SAID ABOUT THEM MADE TEAR UP AND SHE'S SO RIGHT

I did miss his fade nightmare (I did Redcliffe and the circle of magi asap bc I wanted to be a bloodmage so he was not yet in the party) which probably gives crucial background so I'll probably watch that in a video or something

I think I'm pretty much at the "end" of the romance stuff but I'm taking him everywhere hoping that maybe theres an extra dialogue or two during specific quests and what not

I'm already making a playlist for him and my warden too (will probably evolve into an overall DA:O playlist) ((song suggestions welcome))

Unfortunately for everyone involved, Brent doesn't understand the concept of being bought a joke, like, why would someone SPEND MONEY on a joke? Since Karen's his friend and bought him a shirt, he's like. Legally obligated to wear it at least once... ? Probably?

So while he suffers over the idea of wearing it and not wanting to wear it at work he eventually would wear it and Karen would suffer the fact she needs to actually not try to joke too much in a teasing way if it's gonna be Treated Seriously. Right suffering from being gay because oh, Brent looks nice in color. (Chris would find out about it at work that he missed Brent in color and just stares at Karen because she is an absolute menace how did she manage that.)
