in addition to the previous post, i should say it was made bc i saw a guy make a sexist comment and meme thing about "women that keep the receipts on people they date" like men shouldn't be held accountable. so i made the wife the one that keeps track of everythings and hoo boy that husband LOVES her and adores her for it. like he can't keep track of all the vile things he's said! thank the heavens he married such a wonderful brain he loves her so much!

so it gets to him threatening someone, wife present, but along the lines of

"well, i do try to give people one pass if they cross me lightly. :3" "dear, you already gave this one a pass." "ah! that changes everything! i would recommend you get yourself an ally you can trust as much as i trust her but you wont be around for that chance"

he just loves his wife so much and she loves him and she admires how much love he has towards her? like she never would have expected that much devotion towards her. so she is rightfully devoted back! (her past was less than great vs his very entitled past)

i dont really know what i tagged them with on main other than the standard "my characters" so here they are again bc i love them....

thinkin about my villain family ocs where its a husband who is The Villain TM and his wife who keeps everything neat and orderly. she keeps track of everything and is, in her husband's very fond words, The Brains. and they have a daughter who is just a sweet lil gal, completely innocent.

and the husband is just at first glance a regular guy, nothing too stand out. but before he even met his wife he just performed a super casual ritual and gave some of his blood to form a contract with a demon. a "night on bald mountain" from fantasia type demon. a big fella. and the thing is, the demon isn't stupid? but while he doesnt keep mental track of things, the man is incredibly manipulative and wonderful at wording things in his favor that don't even register as a bad deal to the other person (or demon) until after they agree. "no take backs"

so thinking about them and how the married couple just genuinely love each other and he trusts her more than literally anyone else in his life! and their daughter one day looks around, confused, and asks "wheres the other papa" which .... what? what other? papa? huh?

so he looks to his wife and is just "darling? who did you introduce to her?" because he knows without a doubt she's not cheating but also he's really not sure what friends they have that they'd trust with their daughter.

and now the dad is having a mental crisis as it registers that his contract bound demon is interacting with his daughter kindly enough to make her endeared. it's definitely not against anything in the contract (that has admittedly been revised multiple times through the past 20 years) but when the edit of "you may not harm my daughter" happened, he didn't really expect "feel free to befriend my daughter" to be the result. he's having a crisis over it. because his daughter apparently thinks he has a wife and a husband ?????????? wild

Them being friends is one of the funniest dynamics because she's the exact opposite of Mr Depression Incarnate. (Right is absolutely fascinated by their friendship since he likes observing people and he notices how much investment Brent has in making Karen stay Not Disappointed compared to literally every other coworker he talks to)

The important follow up I do NOT have the energy to draw but would still like to elaborate:

Atticus (above) has his cell phone on call with Caspian who is vibing inside the restaurant and listening as this conversation happens. So Caspian goes outside and is like "I can't believe I'm not your favorite because of twenty dollars" to which Brent takes the offered money from Atticus and then promptly holds it out for Caspian. So he says "Would you make me dinner for $20 even though you're closed?"

And Caspian just looks at it with raised eyebrows and takes it saying "yeah, sure. Follow me, my favorite customer" and Atticus just O:< ???

So Brent follows Caspian inside saying a "thanks for dinner, Atticus. It's why you're my favorite cousin."

Poor Atticus just "You're abusing my desire to win you over and I hope you know this is an absolute betrayal by BOTH OF YOU" but neither Brent or Caspian acknowledge the comment.

Brent is just really good at managing his cousins and if that means playing dirty and taking one twin's money to give to the other twin, he'll do it.

Brent doesn't have a huge family. He in fact only has two cousins. Who are twins. And they're invested in making sure they're the favorite cousin since Brent's their favorite cousin (by default since he's their only cousin).

OK SO me doodling designs bc I couldn't decide on if I wanted the leads to be girls or boys so I designed both and then it has been decided: the girls win lead roles. However, I like the boys enough that they're just gonna be the older brothers but not as important.

Gray haired girl (Light for now) has light powers! and navy haired (Dark for now) has dark powers. They come from commoner families and grew up in the same village where magic is already rare (since commoners) and out of the five adults that do have magic, none are light/dark aligned. So the girls keep their powers to themselves it's their little secret! But it gets found out so they go to Magic School on scholarship basically due to the rarity of their elements.

Dark however decides that she wants to test something and Light has never been able to say no to her so she goes along with it. Dark's test? "Light, I want you to bully me in front of others to see if there is really a belief that dark magic is bad."

So the light user is the bully and hates every second of it because other students DO back her up and she's so stressed because Dark is her best friend forever how DARE these nobles act so above her! :C :C :C

But then they meet up in private and just hang out like in the village. Just exchanging school gossip instead of village gossip. The theory still needs to be tested to see how long it takes for people to possibly get over their bias but Light can't do it when she hears people bullying Dark without her around and ends up lecturing them for being so narrow minded (despite starting the drama).

In other words, hello guess who has been (re)watching isekai otome anime type stuff C:

Unfortunately for everyone involved, Brent doesn't understand the concept of being bought a joke, like, why would someone SPEND MONEY on a joke? Since Karen's his friend and bought him a shirt, he's like. Legally obligated to wear it at least once... ? Probably?

So while he suffers over the idea of wearing it and not wanting to wear it at work he eventually would wear it and Karen would suffer the fact she needs to actually not try to joke too much in a teasing way if it's gonna be Treated Seriously. Right suffering from being gay because oh, Brent looks nice in color. (Chris would find out about it at work that he missed Brent in color and just stares at Karen because she is an absolute menace how did she manage that.)

Art I did during my break but don't wanna post on main but you know what. I like Levi and Richard (and Arienne the redhead).

Basically, Levi and Richard go to school together, Richard decides to go by the name Richard and the only person to without question go along with "I'm a boy now" is Levi who calls him Dick. And then gets into fist fights with boys that don't call him Richard. So Richard falls pretty much in love in school then his parents divorce and he moves away.

Many years later (10+) Richard meets Levi again and it's very much nothing grand. Levi overhears Richard introducing himself to someone and is like "lmao Dick? You work here now? Sucks to be you" and Richard is immediately 'I love him so much I hate myself for how easily I give up all dignity for him' but yeah. They work in different departments so Levi does more behind the scenes stuff while Richard talks to clients and is very social.

And their coworkers in both departments love Richard because he's such a nice guy and Levi's department hates Levi a lot cause he's an asshole. (then stuff happens that would require a tw blah blah blah) So after a month of Levi not being at work he returns and Richard immediately goes over to the department to check on him and he's just. Incredibly mellow. No cussing and no cockiness and worst of all, he's being called Richard which is very much not correct from Levi. So he points it out that no one else calls him Dick and if he had a problem with it he would have said something by now so hey, maybe don't suddenly change the entire friendship on your own. (So Levi texts him later to say "sorry for being a dick, Dick" and Richard is v happy and content with that turn out)

Richard is honestly tragically created out of spite for the fact I saw a name IRL and I know that the state that I live in would in fact NOT have someone that intentionally funny and trans so I have to make my own funny trans guy to fill the void.

I never draw Adlyn and he's really cute ??? So here's an Adlyn feeling absolutely betrayed when Pops says "easy enough thanks to your Family Messenger Dragon swooping in" to Vikrahm. How dare Vik have a family messenger dragon and NOT TELL HIS BESTIE.

Adlyn is a mage who is most attuned to fire and he's trying to teach Vikrahm but sadly, that guy doesn't have much magic ability AT ALL so it's mostly just them hanging out while Adlyn does magic.

And thus, Vikrahm hears the name and never uses it publicly because if it took him YEARS to finally hear it AFTER THREATENING "big brother" he's not gonna just use it casually.

I did some research of words that meant "brother" though and figured that since Pops is from a ruined kingdom that no one can even read the language of where he is now, Vik would think that asking "what world would YOU use for brother" is overstepping and doesn't want to do that.

I think I have rambled about them before so to spare you! A tl;dr version that you can also skip:

Shilva can turn into a dragon. Vikrahm goes on an adventure and meets Pops. Pops is a famous dragonslayer who refuses to tell anyone his name and never collects reward money unless needed at that time. Shilva and Pops get married. They both do not tell Vik his name though so he resorts to a threat and is shocked when it actually works. "I didn't expect to get this far idk what to do now" kinda vibes.
